This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the lives of indigenous Papuan communities and transmigrants, particularly in the social and economic context of Sota Village, Merauke Regency, South Papua. The study uses a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGDs). This study involved various parties to obtain a comprehensive view of the social interaction between indigenous peoples and transmigrants. Data were obtained through interviews with leaders and indigenous peoples of Sota Village. The results of the study show that the social relationship between indigenous peoples and transmigrants is harmonious, characterized by cooperation in social activities, mutual assistance, and joint economic development. The presence of transmigrants has had a positive impact on improving welfare, equalizing infrastructure, and introducing modern agricultural techniques to indigenous peoples. On the other hand, local wisdom such as Adat Sasi also plays a role in maintaining social harmony and ecological balance, while the traditional deliberation mechanism serves as a means of peaceful conflict resolution. Indigenous communities show openness to change but remain critical of the sustainability of the transmigration program due to land limitations. Overall, this study concludes that multicultural life in Sota reflects the success of social integration based on the values of tolerance, mutual respect, and cooperation in building a peaceful and sustainable society.

This study aims to analyse the role of digital literacy of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in supporting the implementation of smart cities and improving the quality of public services in the Sorong City Regional Secretariat. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through in-depth interviews with structural officials within the Sorong City Secretariat. The results of the study show that the level of digital literacy of civil servants is still varied and greatly influenced by the duties and functions of the position, generational background, and the intensity of the use of digital technology in daily work. The implementation of the smart city concept in Sorong City has not been fully optimal due to limited infrastructure, readiness of human resources, budget support, and coordination between regional apparatus organisations. Nevertheless, digitalisation has had a positive impact on the efficiency of public services, especially in the aspects of administration, transparency, and ease of access to information for the public. This study also found that the success of digital governance is highly determined by the commitment of regional leaders, internal policies that support the digital capacity building of civil servants, and continuous training and mentoring. Therefore, strengthening the digital literacy of civil servants is a strategic and sustainable priority policy to support the development of smart cities and digital public services that are effective, inclusive, and accountable in Sorong City.

Bullying in school environments is a crucial issue that causes physical and emotional harm to victims and perpetuates cycles of aggression, with peer pressure identified as one of the main predictors. This study aims to address gaps in the literature regarding the specific role of peer pressure in shaping bullying behavior in Indonesian schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, analyzing 21 research articles published between 2021 and 2026 from Google Scholar. The findings indicate that adolescents with high peer pressure are 3.48 times more likely to engage in bullying, and high peer conformity contributes to 44.4% of bullying cases. However, peer influence is dual-sided—positive interactions based on empathy and mutual respect can reduce bullying behavior. The impacts of bullying include depression, anxiety, and declining academic performance in victims, as well as legal issues and difficulties in interpersonal relationships in perpetrators. The study concludes that collaboration among various stakeholders is essential to manage peer group norms and dynamics as part of culturally contextual bullying prevention efforts in Indonesia.

This study aims to investigate the skill gaps experienced by bachelor’s degree graduates in Indonesia when facing the dual demands of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0. The method applied in this research is a systematic literature review, synthesizing findings from 21 scientific articles focusing on the dynamics of skill gaps and the effectiveness of higher education interventions in Indonesia. The study findings reveal two main categories of competency gaps. In the context of Industry 4.0, the most significant deficiencies are observed in specific hard skills, particularly data literacy, artificial intelligence proficiency, and automation across various sectors. Meanwhile, within the Society 5.0 dimension, deeper gaps emerge in soft skills and human-centered competencies, including complex problem-solving, emotional intelligence, creativity, and environmentally sustainable skills. These human-centered skill gaps play a critical role in enhancing graduate value as AI technologies increasingly replace routine tasks. Although the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program shows positive outcomes in improving sustainability skills and digital certification, it has not fully succeeded in driving fundamental transformation of higher education learning outcomes, limiting alignment with sustainability principles and the Society 5.0 approach. It can be concluded that Indonesian higher education faces the challenge of undertaking fundamental curriculum reform to integrate human-centered competencies as a foundation for preparing future human resources.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is one of the personality assessment tools that is often used to identify individual psychological tendencies, including in the context of higher education. In the student environment, MBTI is widely used as a means of self-introduction, adjustment of learning styles, increasing the effectiveness of group work, and career planning. This article aims to examine the relevance of the application of MBTI among students using a literature study approach. The research method used is in the form of a review of various literature sources, such as scientific journals, books, and academic articles that discuss the basic concept of MBTI, its implementation in the field of education, and critical views regarding its limitations. The results of the study show that MBTI has a fairly relevant role as a non-diagnostic instrument in helping students understand their potential, learning preferences, and social and academic interaction patterns. In addition, the appropriate use of MBTI can support improved learning quality, teamwork effectiveness, and academic counseling services. However, a number of literature highlights the limitations of MBTI, especially regarding aspects of validity and reliability, so it is not recommended to be used as the sole basis for academic or psychological decision-making. Thus, MBTI remains relevant for students if used wisely, contextually, and based on a strong scientific foundation to support students' academic and personality development.

The campus atmosphere significantly affects students' motivation for learning, influencing their academic experiences, mental health, and social relationships. This study explores how the campus environment impacts students' learning motivation through a literature review approach. The campus atmosphere is a multifaceted concept that includes physical, educational, and social aspects. A conducive physical environment, with well-maintained facilities and adequate learning spaces, enhances students' comfort and focus. The educational environment, particularly the interaction between lecturers and students, teaching methods, and institutional support, plays a key role in students' motivation and involvement. This study examines how the transition from manual to digital services influences user satisfaction through digital service quality and user perception at the Marine and Fisheries Office of Pekalongan Regency. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining a quantitative survey (N = 40) using Pearson correlation analysis with qualitative interviews involving service leaders and operators. The results reveal very strong correlations between service quality, user perception, and user satisfaction, as well as the critical role of system stability and operator assistance in shaping user experience. Qualitative findings confirm that changes in work culture, leadership, and human resource adaptation are key factors in the success of digitalisation. The study implies that the success of digital public services is determined not only by technology but also by strengthening human resource capacity, simplifying service design, and providing operator support for users with low digital literacy. The limitations of this study include the small sample size, the single organisational context, and reliance on perception-based data. Future research is recommended to conduct comparative cross-agency studies, longitudinal approaches, and structural model testing to examine the mediating roles of digital literacy and operator assistance.

The phenomenon of moral degradation and the increase in negative activities among children during the crucial hours between dusk and evening have become serious challenges for the community in Ujung Negeri Kahan Village. This community service research aims to evaluate and optimize the role of the "Maghrib Mengaji" program as a preventive instrument to shield children from unhealthy environmental influences and gadget dependency. The method employed in this service is participatory mentoring using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, involving religious leaders, parents, and village officials. Through the restructuring of activities in mosques and prayer rooms, this program focuses not only on Qur'anic literacy but also on the cultivation of noble character (akhlakul karimah). The results indicate a significant transformation in behavior; children who previously engaged in counterproductive outdoor activities are now more focused on positive spiritual and social endeavors. The success of the program is indicated by a decrease in the intensity of nighttime wandering and an increase in learning discipline. The conclusion of this activity confirms that community synergy through structured religious programs is effective in reducing the potential for juvenile delinquency and strengthening the moral resilience of the younger generation at the rural level.

Economic empowerment of rural communities through the strengthening of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial pillar in achieving national economic independence. One of the fundamental obstacles faced by MSMEs in rural areas is financial exclusion due to low digital literacy and dependence on conventional cash transaction systems. The Community Service Program (KKN) of students from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN SU) in Pematang Tengah Village was designed to bridge this gap by optimizing the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS). Through an intensive participatory mentoring approach, students acted as agents of digital transformation who educated, trained, and facilitated 10 local MSME actors in adopting non-cash payment technology. The results of the program show a significant shift from digital skepticism to digital trust. The implementation of QRIS has been proven to increase operational efficiency, financial management accuracy, and strengthen the image of business modernity in the eyes of consumers. This article emphasizes that the role of students is not merely as information deliverers, but as catalysts of social capital that is crucial for the sustainability of digitalization at the village level.

This study aims to analyze the role of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in utilizing lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) as the main ingredient for mosquito repellent products and its contribution to improving the economy of the community in Timbang Jaya Village. Lemongrass contains essential oils that function as a natural insect repellent, making it a potential raw material for value-added products such as mosquito repellent sprays, aromatherapy candles, and herbal lotions. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The findings indicate that local MSMEs play a significant role in the production process, product innovation, and marketing of lemongrass-based products. Besides generating additional income, this development also creates new job opportunities and supports the village’s economic independence. However, several challenges remain, including limited capital, lack of processing technology skills, and competition with chemical-based products. The recommended solutions include capacity building through training and mentoring, better access to funding, and strengthening digital marketing strategies. Therefore, the development of mosquito repellent products from lemongrass by MSMEs not only contributes to the community’s economic growth but also provides an environmentally friendly alternative beneficial for public health.

Government and government transparency on community participation, with government accountability as an intervening variable. The study used a quantitative approach based on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to the community of Maladum Mes District, Sorong City. The results show that government transparency and public perception of the government's role have a positive and significant effect on government accountability. In addition, government transparency, public perception, and government accountability have a positive and significant effect on community participation. The mediation test results show that government accountability partially mediates the effects of government transparency and public perception of the government's role on community participation. These findings confirm that increasing community participation depends not only on information disclosure and positive perceptions, but also on the extent to which the government is accountable to the public for its performance. This study offers theoretical implications for strengthening the concept of good governance and practical implications for local governments in designing participatory policies.
