CRE not only focuses on teaching religious doctrines but also imparts universal values, such as love, tolerance, and justice, which can support the creation of a peaceful society. By internalizing these values, students are expected to understand and respect differences and contribute to communal welfare. Nevertheless, implementing CRE in a diverse society also faces various challenges that require synergistic support from various stakeholders. This study aims to deepen the understanding of CRE’s contribution to creating harmonious living in Indonesia’s diverse society and to identify optimal strategies to enhance CRE’s role in educating the younger generation to coexist peacefully.

This research aims to examine how effective the Islamic storytelling method is in instilling eating etiquette values in young children at KB Permata Sari, Bantan Tua Village. In this context, eating etiquette includes behavior such as praying before and after eating, maintaining cleanliness, and adopting polite attitudes when eating. The Islamic storytelling method was chosen because it was considered capable of conveying Islamic values in a way that was interesting, simple and easy for children to understand. Through stories, these values can be conveyed subtly and arouse children's curiosity, so that it is easier for them to remember and internalize these values. The results of this research show that the Islamic storytelling method is effective in shaping children's understanding and behavior regarding good eating etiquette. After being given lessons through stories, children show a deeper understanding of the importance of eating etiquette, and begin to implement behavior according to the values conveyed, such as praying before eating, maintaining cleanliness, and eating with a polite attitude. These findings confirm that the Islamic storytelling method not only introduces the values of eating etiquette, but also helps form positive habits in children on an ongoing basis.

According to Letementira (2020), a latrine is a safe and comfortable place for defecation or the disposal of feces, designed to prevent contamination of water bodies and avoid unpleasant odors. The World Health Organization (WHO) reported in 2019 that globally, 892 million people still practice open defecation. The Indonesian Ministry of Health's website reveals that, as of January 2020, there are still 8.6 million households in the country where family members practice open defecation (Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia, 2020). This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and latrine ownership in Silale Village, Nusaniwe Subdistrict. The total population of the village, consisting of 75 respondents, was used as the sample for this study, and total sampling was applied. The research instruments included questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS software with a chi-square test for statistical analysis. The results showed a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and latrine ownership, with a p-value of 0.000. This indicates that both knowledge and attitude are closely related to the ownership of latrines in the study area. Understanding professional ethics in the workplace is a crucial aspect for students in Vocational High Schools (SMK) to prepare themselves for entering the workforce. This ethics is not only related to technical skills but also encompasses attitudes, behavior, and the ability to interact professionally. One of the most critical aspects is interview etiquette, as a student’s success is often determined by how they behave and communicate during the interview. An interview is not just about answering questions, but also an opportunity to present a positive self-image. Therefore, students need to understand how to use appropriate body language, manage facial expressions, and answer questions confidently. To address this need, the community service team from the D-III English Language Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Madiun conducted an interview etiquette training at SMK Widjaya Ngoro, Jombang. The training was delivered through interactive discussions and hands-on practice. In the discussion session, students learned preparation strategies, interview etiquette, and follow-up actions after the interview. Furthermore, through simulations, students were able to practice communication skills, improve their attitudes, and build confidence. This activity proved to be beneficial as it enriched knowledge and provided practical experience that is relevant for facing job selection processes in the future.

Mental health stigma and low Mental Health Literacy (MHL) remain major challenges affecting the well-being of high school students, often preventing them from seeking professional help and contributing to psychological distress. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a school-based mental health literacy workshop in reducing stigma and enhancing students’ knowledge and social awareness. A quantitative experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements was employed, involving high school students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of a face-to-face workshop covering basic mental health concepts, common adolescent disorders, strategies to seek professional support, and approaches to provide peer support. Data were collected using standardized attitudinal surveys and analyzed with paired t-tests. The results indicated a significant reduction in mental health stigma and a substantial increase in mental health knowledge. Additionally, students demonstrated improved understanding of mental health concepts, enhanced ability to recognize common disorders, greater awareness of help-seeking strategies, and increased empathy toward peers experiencing mental health challenges. These findings suggest that interactive workshops are effective in promoting both individual literacy and a supportive school environment. In conclusion, integrating mental health literacy programs into school curricula provides a sustainable strategy to reduce stigma, foster inclusive attitudes, and equip adolescents with the knowledge and social skills necessary for improved mental well-being.

This study aims to analyze the influence of product image and ethnocentrism factors on knowledge about Uis Karo, a traditional cloth typical of the Karo people, among students of Medan Area University. Product image refers to students' perceptions of the quality, beauty, and relevance of Uis Karo as part of local culture, while ethnocentrism refers to the tendency to prioritize and value local products over foreign products. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 98 students. The results of the analysis show that product image has a significant influence on students' knowledge of Uis Karo, where positive perceptions of the quality and aesthetics of Uis Karo increase students' interest in learning about this cultural product. In addition, ethnocentrism factors have also been shown to have a significant influence; students with high levels of ethnocentrism tend to be more interested and have better knowledge about Uis Karo. These findings imply the importance of promotional strategies that strengthen the image of Uis Karo products and strengthen ethnocentrism attitudes to increase understanding and pride in local culture among the younger generation.
