The development of the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) is a national strategic project that has significant implications, particularly in relation to state control/domination of land.  The relocation of the national capital to the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) has become a strategic agenda of the Indonesian government, which aims to realize equitable development and a new administrative center in Indonesia (Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the National Capital) and has an impact on all aspects of the lives of indigenous peoples in the IKN Nusantara region, particularly in the field of land.  However, this project raises serious issues related to state control of land, especially in terms of the rights of the surrounding communities whose land is affected by the Development of the Central Government Area of the Capital City of Nusantara (KIPP IKN).  Land restitution is a central issue because it concerns the guarantee of human rights, particularly the right to ownership, access to land, and social justice (Satjipto Rahardjo, Hukum dan Masyarakat [Law and Society] (Bandung: Alumni, 2000).  This study analyzes how land restitution in the KIPP IKN development project is viewed from a human rights perspective, emphasizing the need for a balance between national development interests and the protection of citizens' rights.

The Aceh Sharia Court has special authority to enforce Qanun Jinayat as part of the implementation of Aceh's privileges in the legal field. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Sharia Court in enforcing Qanun Jinayat in Aceh. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory regulatory approach and a conceptual approach. The research results show that the Sharia Court has carried out judicial functions in accordance with its authority in examining, adjudicating and deciding jinayat cases. The research results reveal that the effectiveness of enforcing Qanun Jinayat still faces a number of obstacles, including limited resources of the judicial apparatus, differences in public understanding of jinayat law, and coordination between law enforcers that is not yet optimal. This research concludes that the Sharia Court functions in enforcing Qanun Jinayat, but it requires improving institutional quality and legal system support so that the objectives of enforcing sharia law can be achieved optimally.

The Aceh Sharia Court is a special judicial institution formed based on the specifics of Aceh as regulated in the Aceh Government Law. The existence of the Aceh Sharia Court has juridical consequences for the exercise of judicial power which was previously exercised by the Religious Courts. This research aims to analyze the position of the Aceh Sharia Court in the national justice system and examine its power in replacing the authority of the Religious Courts in handling cases related to Islamic law. The research method used is normative legal research. The research results show that the Aceh Sharia Court has an equal position to the Religious Court in the judicial power structure, but has broader authority because it covers Islamic civil cases, sharia criminal (jinayat), and sharia procedural law. This transfer of authority does not eliminate the existence of the Religious Courts nationally, but creates a special justice system that only applies in the Aceh region. The position of the Aceh Sharia Court strengthens the implementation of Islamic law within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and remains under the guidance of the Supreme Court.

This community service program develops a pilot model of Pancasila Village based on Asta Cita in Paciran Village, Lamongan Regency through the integration of three intervention clusters: (1) national seminar to strengthen Pancasila values and the agenda of “building from the village”, (2) training on downstreaming palm sap as a strengthening of the local economy and entrepreneurship based on village potential, and (3) coastal rehabilitation action through planting sea pine as an environmental adaptation in sandy coastal areas that are vulnerable to wind and erosion. The implementation method uses a participatory and asset-based approach (ABCD) that places residents as the main actors, with a series of activities including socialization, cross-party coordination, training on processing palm sap into value-added products (brown sugar and syrup), seminars with community leaders and academics, planting sea pine, and pre-post evaluation based on knowledge, skills observation, and participant satisfaction. The implementation results show the formation of a cross-generational commitment to make Paciran Village a pilot Pancasila Village, increased community capacity in palm sap processing, and the birth of collective coastal rehabilitation actions. The program also produced sustainability recommendations in the form of routine cross-generational agendas, utilization of village social media for educational content on Pancasila–nira–cemara laut, and the appointment of Pancasila students as environmental sustainability ambassadors in the village.

Traditional snack micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia face increasing market competition and rapidly changing consumer preferences, particularly among younger consumers seeking innovative and symbolic food experiences. This community engagement study aims to strengthen the profitability and sustainability of traditional snack MSMEs by integrating local flavor innovation with simple business governance practices. Using a participatory action research approach under the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program in Palangka Raya, this study involved co-creation between students and local entrepreneurs in product development, production standardization, and basic financial management. Qualitative data were collected through participatory observation and stakeholder discussions, while quantitative data were obtained from sales records and simple financial reports. The results demonstrate that local flavor-based innovation, combined with standardized operating procedures and cost control mechanisms, improved product differentiation, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The intervention generated a positive net profit and strengthened the partner’s capacity for independent business management. This study contributes to the literature by positioning traditional food MSMEs as sites of cultural innovation and micro-governance, while supporting Sustainable Development Goals related to inclusive economic growth, cultural preservation, and responsible production.

The transition period from adolescence to early adulthood is marked by a search for identity and life direction, which often triggers a quarter-life crisis among Gen Z students. This qualitative research with a case study approach explores how peer social support helps Gen Z students navigate the quarter-life crisis in the Social Youth Community. The findings reveal that students experience seven dimensions of the quarter-life crisis: difficulty in making decisions, loss of hope, negative self-perception, feeling stuck, restlessness, psychological stress, and excessive anxiety. Peer social support is manifested in three ways: affective assistance through empathetic listening, informative support through advice and guidance, and tangible help through physical presence and time commitment. The perceived benefits include feeling valued, emotional strength through care and affection, peace of mind that reduces restlessness, and an understanding of friendship networks that foster optimism. This research contributes to the development of a peer-based mentoring approach in higher education to effectively help Gen Z cope with the quarter-life crisis.

This study aims to analyze the supervisory strategy of the Panwascam (Central Election Supervisory Agency) of Sinjai Borong District in handling election violations in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections in Sinjai Regency. The study focuses on two main aspects, namely preventive strategies and repressive strategies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies, through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and interactive data analysis. The results show that the Panwascam's preventive strategies include socialization of election regulations, political education, and strengthening coordination with village officials and community leaders. This strategy has been proven to increase regulatory understanding among lower-level election organizers and public political awareness, especially first-time voters. Meanwhile, the repressive strategy is implemented through violation handling mechanisms, preparing legal recommendations, and summoning perpetrators and witnesses. Based on field findings, the Panwascam successfully handled one case of violation of ASN neutrality that was recommended to the Regency Bawaslu. This study concludes that the supervision of the Sinjai Borong Panwascam is relatively effective, although it still faces limited resources, low public legal literacy, and strong local political patronage. The results of this study provide a conceptual contribution to strengthening the community-based electoral supervision model, which integrates regulatory, educational, and collaborative aspects. They also serve as practical recommendations for improving the quality of electoral democracy at the local level.

The establishment of the age limit for children up to 18 years in Indonesian law is a normative instrument that aims to ensure legal certainty and child protection. This provision is adopted in various laws and regulations as a form of the state's commitment to fulfilling children's rights. However, in law enforcement practice, the application of this age limit often causes problems when faced with the dynamics of actual cases that reveal a discrepancy between the normative age and the social, psychological, and factual conditions of the child. This condition creates tension between the legal-formal approach that emphasizes legal certainty and the need for substantive justice oriented towards the best interests of the child. This study aims to analyze the problems of applying the age limit of 18 years in the context of actual cases and to examine how the tension between legal certainty and the reality of children is reflected in law enforcement practices in Indonesia. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach, as well as normative qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the rigid application of the age limit for children has the potential to ignore the contextual aspects of children and give rise to inconsistencies in practice. Therefore, a more contextual legal approach is needed through strengthening the discretion of law enforcement officials and progressive interpretation by judges in order to achieve substantive justice and optimal protection for children.

Public communication in efforts to prevent drug abuse faces increasingly complex challenges in the digital era, particularly in reaching young people who are strongly influenced by social media and the dynamics of their social environment. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Surakarta City in carrying out the Drug Abuse Prevention, Eradication, and Illicit Trafficking Program (P4GN) oriented toward the younger generation. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with public relations staff of BNN Surakarta City, as well as a review of program documents and communication materials. The data were analyzed using content analysis and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that BNN’s communication strategies include audience segmentation based on age and educational level, the utilization of digital media such as Instagram and TikTok, and collaboration with local public figures, micro-influencers, and youth communities. Peer-based and participatory communication approaches are considered more effective than one-way, purely informative communication patterns. Nevertheless, limitations in human resources and budget, along with the rapid flow of digital information, remain the main challenges in program implementation. This study emphasizes the importance of persuasive, adaptive, and contextual communication strategies to enhance the effectiveness of P4GN campaigns among the younger generation.

This study aims to analyze the social media engagement strategy of Instagram @kumocake.co in its efforts to maintain its product image as ‘Japanese Halal Cake for 25,000 Rupiah’ amid fierce competition in the culinary industry. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews with social media specialists, observation, and documentation. The results show that the engagement strategy is implemented in a structured manner through a monthly content plan with weekly execution, as well as consistent uploads every two days in alternating Reels and feed formats. The most effective Instagram features are Stories for direct interaction and Reels for expanding audience reach, which consistently meet audience gratification needs in accordance with Uses and Gratifications Theory (UGT). The product image is maintained through eye-catching, neat, and minimalist visual highlights of the cake in each content, in line with the principles of Brand Image Theory. The highest level of engagement is achieved through endorsement and giveaway content, where save and share metrics are considered the most significant indicators of engagement. Despite facing challenges with the quality of non-preservative products, Kumocake.co manages them with a relaxed and fast response interaction strategy. This research contributes to the development of Digital Public Relations studies, particularly regarding the strategic role of social media engagement in the process of maintaining the image of contemporary culinary products.

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the policy to convert the Abu Bakar Ali (ABA) parking area toward vendors and parking attendants. The data collection technique used was descriptive qualitative research, obtained from in-depth interviews with vendors and parking attendants and observations at the relocation site of the Malioboro Abu Bakar Ali 2 Parking Area. The Abu Bakar Ali parking lot conversion policy was an effort by the Yogyakarta City Government to improve the aesthetics of the Malioboro area and preserve cultural heritage. The findings reveal a significant gap between the environmental and cultural objectives of the policy and the socio-economic reality, with low tourist visitation to the new location resulting in a drastic decrease in income, leading to resentment among vendors and parking attendants. Therefore, the Yogyakarta City Government needs to review the implementation of this policy so that it does not lead to horizontal conflicts between the government and the vendors and parking attendants.

This study examines the commodification of women’s bodies within environmental campaign content on digital media, focusing on a video produced by Pandawara Group that addresses textile waste issues. Although the campaign aims to raise ecological awareness, the visual emphasis on a female body particularly the exposure of a bra redirected public attention from environmental messages to sexualized interpretations in the comment section. This research aims to analyze how such meaning shifts occur through representation and audience interpretation. Using Sara Mills’ Critical Discourse Analysis, this study focuses on subject–object positioning and reader positioning in both visual and verbal elements of the content. The data consist of one campaign video and selected public comments on TikTok, analyzed qualitatively. The findings reveal that women are positioned as visual objects rather than active subjects within the discourse, while audiences are constructed as observers of the female body instead of interpreters of environmental issues. The recurring use of the phrase “content that unites the nation” further legitimizes sexualized readings and reinforces dominant gendered discourse. Importantly, the study finds that such interpretations are reproduced not only by male audiences but also by female users, indicating the internalization of dominant visual culture in digital spaces. This study contributes to gender and media studies by demonstrating that environmental campaigns are not free from gender bias and that visual representation plays a crucial role in shaping unintended meanings within social campaigns.

This study aims to examine the use of piggy banks as a means of financial literacy education among elementary school students. Piggy piggy banks are seen as a simple but effective learning medium in instilling the habit of saving, managing money, and forming a frugal character from an early age. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this research involves students, teachers, and parents as the main data source with interview and observation techniques. The results of the study show that the use of piggy banks not only increases children's understanding of the concept of money and economic value, but also fosters financial responsibility and awareness from an early age. Teachers play an important role in providing direction and assistance, while the role of parents is a reinforcement of the practice of saving at home. In addition, saving through piggy banks has been proven to increase motivation to learn, because children feel that they have financial goals that they want to achieve. Education through piggy banks is the first step in building a strong financial literacy foundation, so that children are used to planning their money wisely and consistently. Thus, piggy banks can be used as effective contextual learning innovations at the elementary school level.
