The premeditated murder case involving Inspector General Ferdy Sambo has exposed various institutional pathologies in law enforcement institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to identify forms of bureaucratic deviation in these cases, such as protection of power, violation of professional ethics, attempts to obstruct justice, and the dominance of absolute power in the police structure. Using a qualitative approach and library research methods, this study analyzes scientific literature, legal documents, and media coverage. The findings indicate a systemic failure in internal supervision, weak accountability, and a strong culture of personal loyalty in a hierarchical and feudal bureaucratic structure. This shows that bureaucratic pathology is not solely caused by individuals, but is a product of an unhealthy organizational system with minimal transparency. This study emphasizes the importance of comprehensive structural and cultural reform in order to build credible, accountable, and professional legal institutions. This reform is crucial to forming a bureaucracy that is in the public interest and is able to uphold justice fairly and independently.

Suffering is a condition where a person experiences pain or difficulty in living their life. Paul's words about "fulfilling what was lacking in Christ's suffering" raise the question that whether Christ's suffering on the cross was incomplete? And it is as if Christ's suffering was ineffective and limited so that redemption had to be completed or completed through Paul's suffering. However, Christ's suffering on the Cross was perfect, sufficient to atone for human sins and did not need to be fulfilled again. The thing that needs to be accomplished or fulfilled is suffering for the sake of preaching the Gospel, about Christ who was incarnated as a human, died as a ransom sacrifice and was resurrected from the dead. So everyone can know God through His power and resurrection. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The purpose of this study is first to "deliver a theological answer regarding the meaning of "filling up in my flesh what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ" Second, to provide an important meaning that every believer must truly live in Christ, because the perfect redemption of Jesus Christ has been done to save mankind. The final result of the study on Colossians 1:24 provides the meaning that every believer is called to fill up what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ, namely, the suffering related to the challenges of preaching the gospel. Like Paul who was never free from suffering when preaching the gospel, but Paul remained joyful, and continued to preach the gospel. Likewise, we as believers should follow Paul's example so that the gospel can be spread throughout the face of the earth.

Physical modification of starch using microwave heat treatment (MHT) technology serves as an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to enhance the functional properties of starch without chemical additives. This article aims to examine the influence of microwave power and heating duration on the swelling power and solubility of various starch types, including tapioca, taro, sago, and lotus rhizome. A review of four studies revealed that power and time parameters significantly affect the crystalline structure of starch granules, resulting in either enhancement or reduction of their functional properties. High power or prolonged heating may decrease swelling power due to crystal restructuring and granule disruption, while solubility increases as a result of amylose and amylopectin degradation. MHT has proven to accelerate the heating process in a volumetric and efficient manner, improving water absorption capacity and viscosity. Despite its drawback of uneven heat distribution, this method remains relevant as a physical modification technique aligned with green processing principles in the food industry.

It is essential to have a correct understanding of the true meaning of worship, according to Psalm 95:6-7. The concept of worship in the book of Psalms is more related to the closeness of the people's hearts to God than just rituals or outward ways. In this text, all people are invited to come with sincere respect and worship to God, as a recognition of His power and sovereignty. Understanding that worship is not just a task or routine is part of kuni in applying the correct understanding of the meaning of worship. In the book of Psalms, God is described as a shepherd who cares for His people. This shows that people perform worship in response to God's love and providence. As a result, a transformational approach must involve a change of mind and heart. In the context of Psalm 95:6-7, the transformational strategy in question involves fostering the spiritual character of the people through in-depth teaching and the application of spiritual principles in daily life. This strategy includes understanding the importance of sincerity in worship, not just following established forms of worship. In this regard, spiritual leaders and church leaders have an important role in providing guidance, teaching the faithful to understand the meaning of true worship, and helping them avoid the bonds of worship formalities. In addition, transformational strategies in worship also include the participation of the faithful in social life that reflects values such as love, justice, and sacrifice, which are at the core of worship itself.

This research analyzes the role of Instagram social media in shaping digital public space for the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI) environmental movement. The main focus of this study is how the @walhi.national account mobilizes discourse, solidarity, and collective action in contemporary ecological issues, with a theoretical approach that refers to Sidney Tarrow's Cycle of Contention framework (1994). The analysis shows that WALHI utilizes Instagram as a means to respond to political moments and ecological crises, such as the Rempang conflict (2023) and the rejection of the Trenggalek gold mine (#TolakTambangTrenggalek). The initial phase was characterized by the outbreak of political opportunities through controversial policies. WALHI then mobilized, framed and diffused action through the spread of visual narratives and hashtag campaigns that expanded solidarity. In the final phase, WALHI as an organization has undergone a transformation process from a field-based advocacy movement to a professional, strategic and technology-adaptive digital actor. WALHI through @walhi.national together with various parties such as volunteers, academics, communities and the public have contributed to encouraging institutional advocacy and redrafting policy discourse related to the environment. This study concludes that social media is not only a tool for information dissemination, but also a field of political articulation that can strengthen or challenge power structures in the contestation cycle. Instagram becomes an important arena for WALHI in maintaining moral legitimacy and expanding the environmental movement to a more inclusive and connected level.

The principle of legality is a legal principle that states that every act may only be subject to sanctions if it has been stipulated in the legislation before the criminal act is committed. The research aims to analyze the necessity of a law before a criminal event occurs; analyze the assessment of an act that is not analogous; analyze the need for the principle of legality to protect individuals from arbitrary actions by judicial officers. The research method is the normative legal method, by adopting conventions, legislation, law books, journals, articles, the internet. Furthermore, comprehensively reviewing the literature so that maximum results are obtained. The results of the research, law enforcement that is fair, pure and consistent is still difficult to achieve considering that many officers still do not fully understand the meaning of the principle of legality so that they often make mistakes in considering imposing criminal sanctions, and often their decisions exceed their authority. Human rights are inherent rights in individuals, so individuals should get their rights. Protection of individual rights is mandated in the 1945 Constitution Article 28G paragraph (1) Article 28H paragraph (1). Legal certainty is a vital element in building an honest and fair legal strategy. It is expected that when laws are created, they should be in accordance with a systematic, democratic mechanism based on empirical observation results, so that errors in the application of the law can be minimized. Thus, all people get legal certainty where their rights are protected and maintained, on the other hand, each individual is aware not to do prohibited acts because every action has logical and firm consequences.

Deconstruction was introduced by a French philosopher born in Algeria, Jacques Derrida. This theory challenges the centralized and rounded mode of meaning as might be desired by the text or which is deliberately made clear by the logical relationship of the text. The “unspeakable” power of the text is the logic that is trivialized or underestimated as a secondary meaning that at times endangers the structure of the text or produces ambiguous paradoxes, which will erode the reader. Deconstruction aims to dismantle the Western metaphysical tradition such as Husserlin's phenomenology, Saussurean structuralism, structuralism. Derrida's deconstruction method is better known as metaphorical deconstruction. Metaphor here is not understood as an aspect of the expressive function of language but as an essential condition of speech. Metaphor represents one way of constructing discourse and strongly influences the understanding of various texts. Deconstruction is carried out on metaphorical texts composed by the author. Deconstruction can occur in the text itself or vice versa, we who deconstruct a text. In conclusion, deconstruction can be applied in everyday life by recognizing that other people's views on a topic and perspective may have different meanings from ours.

This study aims to analyze the song “Bayar Bayar Bayar” using the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach based on Teun A. van Dijk’s model. The song was selected due to its explicit criticism of corruption and abuse of power within the Indonesian police institution. The analysis covers three main dimensions in Van Dijk’s theory: discourse structure (macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure), social cognition, and social context. The analysis reveals that thematically, the song represents the collective experience of society in facing bureaucratic injustice, particularly in the form of illegal levies by the authorities. Its repetitive and straightforward superstructure strengthens the main message. At the microstructural level, the use of direct language, punk-styled stylistics, and the rhetorical repetition of “bayar polisi” (pay the police) create a provocative effect and reinforce the social critique being delivered. In terms of social cognition, the song reflects the public's mental model of the police as an institution that perpetuates social inequality rather than acting as a neutral protector. From a social context perspective, the song emerges from the reality of unequal power relations between citizens and authorities, serving as a symbolic form of resistance against hegemonic power structures. “Bayar Bayar Bayar” is thus not only a musical work but also an ideological expression with critical discourse value in advocating for social justice.
