Colostrum is a component of breast milk in the form of a golden yellow liquid secreted by the mother from the first to the third day after giving birth. Colostrum contains 10-17 times more immune substances than mature milk, so it is very important to help form antibodies in newborn babies (Mardalena, 2017). According to WHO, the production and quality of breast milk is not affected by the nutritional condition of the mother unless the mother experiences extreme malnutrition. This could be a reason to support mothers to continue breastfeeding their newborn babies in emergency situations. (RI Ministry of Health, 2018) stated this information. WHO and UNICEF support exclusive breastfeeding through early initiation of breastfeeding within the first hour after birth, exclusive breastfeeding without giving any food or drink including water, feeding according to the newborn's desire both in the morning and evening, and avoiding the use of bottles, pacifiers , and teas (Ministry of Health, 2018). This study is an analytical research with a cross-sectional study design used to determine the RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES OF POSTPARTUM MOTHERS TOWARDS THE PROVISION OF COLOSTRUM TO NEWBORN BABIES AT PMB ROSA HULU NIAS SOUTH NORTH SUMATRA PROVINCE IN 2024. Research shows that colostrum has a significant impact on Newborns (p= 0.006). There is a significant relationship between family support and giving colostrum to newborns (p= 0.001). Mothers of Newborns are advised to seek information about giving colostrum or breast milk to Newborns through various sources such as electronic media, social media, and health workers to increase their knowledge. Provide training to health staff at the Eninta clinic to increase promotion of giving colostrum to Newborns, so that mothers and families have better knowledge about the importance of colostrum.

The Family Planning Program (KB) is one of the government's efforts to control population growth and to build quality families. Long-term contraceptive methods, including intrauterine devices (IUDs), are part of the government program, but their usage remains low. One of the reasons is the lack of support and knowledge from husbands. Husband’s support is a crucial form of motivation for wives in using contraceptives. The more knowledge and information the husband has, the more support he can provide to his wife in using IUD contraception. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband’s support and knowledge with the low usage of IUD contraception at PMB Linda Elisabet in Kemiri Muka Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java, in 2024. This research is an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study is the husbands of women who use contraceptives, and the sample consists of 10 individuals selected through non-probability sampling or total sampling. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test (α=0.05). The results show that the majority of wives do not use IUDs (76.5%), while only 23.5% do. The statistical chi-square test showed a significant relationship between husband’s support and knowledge with the low usage of IUD contraception at PMB Linda Elisabet in Kemiri Muka Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java, with a p-value of 0.003 (P<0.05). In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between husband’s support and knowledge and the low usage of IUD contraception at PMB Linda Elisabet in Kemiri Muka Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java, in 2024. The more knowledgeable the husband, the greater his support for his wife in using IUD contraception. Health workers should regularly provide counseling on the importance of IUD contraception, and husbands are expected to increase their knowledge. With greater knowledge of IUD contraception, husbands can provide more support to motivate their wives to use it.

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of the congregation of GKPPD Sangga Beru regarding the foundation of marriage in building a harmonious family. In Christian teachings, marriage is not just a bond between two individuals, but a divine institution designed to form a family based on faith, love, and mutual trust. However, factors such as the wrong foundation in marriage, economic problems, poor communication, and cultural pressures often threaten family harmony.Using a descriptive approach, this study identified the congregation's perceptions of the foundation of marriage and the factors that cause disharmony in the household. From the results of interviews with 10 informants, it was found that the three main foundations of Christian marriage are faith in Jesus Christ, loving and caring for each other, and trusting each other. Faith serves as a foundation in facing various life challenges, while love ensures emotional warmth, and trust binds couples in joy and sorrow. However, the results of the analysis also show that some couples marry for reasons of matchmaking, social influence, or simply to have children, which often triggers conflicts such as lack of understanding between partners, lack of trust, comfort, openness, and problems related to the presence of children. In an effort to create a harmonious family, values such as mutual understanding, open communication, and cooperation are very important. The church plays a crucial role in guiding the congregation through faith teachings and counseling services. However, in GKPPD Sangga Beru, the lack of an effective counseling program is an obstacle in providing optimal support to couples in facing the challenges of marriage.

Based on the 2018 Riskesdas results, the proportion of breastfeeding patterns for babies aged 0-5 months in Indonesia is 37.3% exclusive breastfeeding, 9.3% partial breastfeeding and 3.3% predominant breastfeeding. Predominant breastfeeding is breastfeeding the baby but giving a little water or a water-based drink, for example tea, as a prelacteal food/drink before the milk comes in. Meanwhile, partial breastfeeding is breastfeeding a baby and giving artificial food other than breast milk such as formula milk, porridge or other food before the baby is 6 months old, whether given continuously or as prelacteal food. North Sumatra Province Nutrition Program Data in 2018. The percentage of exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0-6 months in North Sumatra in 2018 was 65.57 percent, an increase compared to the percentage of exclusive breastfeeding in 2017, namely 54.4 percent (Sumatra Provincial Health Service, 2017). 2018). In the breastfeeding process, problems sometimes arise that can prevent giving breast milk to babies. Problems that mothers often experience when breastfeeding include inverted nipples, swollen breasts, sore and painful nipples, blocked milk ducts, breast inflammation and insufficient milk production (Purwoastuti, 2015). There are many non-pharmacological methods that can help postpartum mothers increase breast milk production, ranging from marmet massage, oxytocin massage, Woolwich massage to areola and rolling massage. Currently, based on the results of related research, there are non-pharmacological methods that are cheaper, easier, non-invasive and acceptable to respondents and without side effects. Nursing interventions that can be applied to help increase lactation in post partum mothers are the SPEOS method (Endorphin, Oxytocin and Suggestive Massage Stimulation).

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that influence the lack of Integrity of Elder Service in GKPPD Buluh Tellang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach method by conducting interviews with elders in GKPPD Buluh Tellang. The results of the study showed that there were two factors influencing elders, namely internal factors and external factors in carrying out service duties in the church, they must have the intention and courage to serve or carry out God's calling so that through the courage of the elders in GKPPD Buluh Tellang they do not forget the eldership received through external factors. pastoral care is very important in increasing the activeness of the elders in carrying out service, so that through interviews that have been conducted by the author that the elders already have an understanding of their goals as elders and with encouragement from external factors the elders carry out their duties and obligations as good servants and are increasing. The conclusion is that it shows that some elders lack confidence in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as servants because there are several things, namely the lack of confidence of the elders in leading worship (not PD), low human resources of the elders, lack of encouragement or motivation and support from the family and the most unpleasant is the political factor.

Family support is a way to provide assistance to other family members, either morally or materially. Motivation is the feeling or thought that drives someone to behave or engage in activities to achieve goals. Hypertensive patients often neglect regular follow-up visits because they feel fine and have no complaints. This study aims to determine the relationship between Family Support and Motivation for Regular Check-Ups in Hypertensive Patients in the Working Area of Samuda Health Center. Methods: This research used a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. The correlation design utilized a cross-sectional method to determine the correlational relationship between two variables, emphasizing the measurement of both independent and dependent variables at one point in time. The instruments were questionnaires, and the statistical test used was Spearman Rank, which involved 53 hypertensive patients in the Working Area of Samuda Health Center as respondents. Results: The study on Family Support revealed that the highest Crosstabulation result was found in respondents with moderate motivation for regular check-ups, with 21 respondents (75.0%), followed by good motivation with 13 respondents (68.4%), and low motivation with 6 respondents (21.4%). The Spearman Rank statistical test yielded a p-value ≤ 0.000, meaning the p-value was less than 0.05. Thus, H0 was rejected, and Ha was accepted, indicating a significant relationship between Family Support and Motivation for Regular Check-Ups in Hypertensive Patients. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between Family Support and Motivation for Regular Check-Ups in Hypertensive Patients. It is suggested that healthcare workers enhance family support to improve the motivation for regular check-ups among hypertensive patients in the Working Area of Samuda Health Center through health promotion initiatives.

This research aims to develop a family-based marriage catechesis module as a foundation for post-wedding accompaniment of young Catholic couples. Using a qualitative approach with document study, the research identifies five key gaps in Catholic couple accompaniment: discontinuity of pastoral care, non-transformative pedagogical approaches, minimal involvement of experienced families, lack of content contextualization, and weak communal support. In response, a module with spiral structure was developed for continuous accompaniment during the first four years of marriage, integrating theological-spiritual, relational-psychological, social-communal, and practical-contextual dimensions. This module operationalizes the concept of "family as pastoral subject" through a mentoring model where experienced couples accompany newly married couples. Implementation requires systematic selection and formation of mentor couples, balanced accompaniment structures, and adaptive approaches. Integration strategies within parish systems include institutional support, appropriate ecclesiological approaches, a "hub and spoke" model, gradual implementation, and utilization of digital technology. This research offers a more participatory, relational, and contextual approach to marriage pastoral care.

There are two internal factors (from within) and external factors (from outside) of the youth themselves. Internal factors include being busy (75%), waiting for friends' invitations (58%), not being confident/difficult to socialize (introvert) (0.8%), and also boredom/saturation (16%). External factors include distance (25%), family busyness (16%), leader/servant (51%), Science, Technology and Socialization (0.8%), not being on time (25%), and the last is because of less creative worship (16%). Based on the research results obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the most dominant factor that causes young people in GKPPD Mungkur to rarely attend Bible Study Services (PA) is due to busyness

In line with the rapid advancement of technology, there has been a significant decline in reading interest across various age groups—both adults and children. One of the main contributing factors is the increasing addiction to digital devices, which has shifted attention away from reading activities and learning responsibilities at home. In response to this issue, we have initiated a movement aimed at revitalizing the spirit of literacy through the establishment and development of the Baitul Ilmi Community Reading Center located in Gesang Village. As an initial step, we have launched a book donation program, open to anyone who wishes to contribute books to support the sustainability of this literacy initiative. Based on our preliminary study, the primary target audience of this program includes children at the kindergarten and elementary school levels. To enhance their engagement and participation, we have adopted the field trip method as our key strategy. This method has proven to effectively increase children's enthusiasm and has received a positive response from the local community, particularly from parents. This initiative is also supported by various community stakeholders, including village authorities, the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK), and the Gesang Village Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), all of whom are committed to fostering a culture of literacy from an early age to ensure a brighter future for the next generation.

Indonesia's national development, based on Pancasila, aims to create a just and prosperous society with education as a key focus. In Karanganom Village, children's education is crucial despite challenges related to infrastructure and facilities. Active community involvement, including parental roles and additional programs such as Qur'an reading guidance, significantly improves educational quality. Family education is also vital for shaping children's character through habits and improvisation. Support from the community and local organizations like IPSENA enhances children's learning enthusiasm. However, challenges such as teacher shortages and time management issues need to be addressed with creative solutions and community cooperation for optimal educational outcomes.
