This paper discusses the visual design of character designs for an illustrated book that focuses on the problem of people pleasers among employees aged 22-30 years. People pleasers are individuals who tend to please others at the expense of themselves, which in the long term can trigger stress and mental disorders. The results of the study show that many young employees experience a dilemma between meeting other people's expectations and maintaining their own well-being. To convey this problem, four characters were designed. The main character is Tara, a people pleaser who undergoes a transformation into a more balanced individual in her work and personal life. Three supporting characters help strengthen the dynamics of conflict in the workplace, Mr. Johnson (Tara's demanding boss), Shinta (a supportive co-worker), and Felix (a senior co-worker). The character design process was carried out through several stages, including interviews with psychologists, illustrators, and employees, as well as qualitative data analysis from observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and literature studies. The result is four characters executed in a simple illustration style with flat design and a limited color palette to emphasize the emotional atmosphere experienced by the characters. By exploring the right illustration style and color composition, this study designs characters that not only depict the reality of people pleasers in the workplace, but also function as visual educational media that helps readers understand the importance of setting boundaries at work and supports individuals in achieving inner peace and balance in life. Keywords: People pleaser, Persona, Illustration, Employee Character Design

The school of jurisprudence has a crucial role in the formation of Islamic law, both in the classical and modern eras. In the classical period, schools of thought such as Hanafi, Maliki, Syafi'i, and Hanbali became the main basis for formulating Islamic law through a structured ijtihad methodology. Each school of thought developed its own way of interpreting the Qur'an, Hadith, ijma', and qiyas, which then contributed to the diversity of Islamic law. In the modern era, the role of schools of jurisprudence remains relevant in responding to contemporary legal challenges, especially in economic, social, and technological issues. Islamic law reform in various Muslim countries often refers to the principles of these schools by adapting them to the national legal system. Therefore, the study of schools of jurisprudence not only contributes to the historical development of Islamic law but also serves as a foundation for formulating legal solutions that are adaptive to the dynamics of the times.

The development of the increasingly advanced times brings serious challenges to the formation of the character of the younger generation, especially at the elementary school levels. The phenomenon of declining religious values, discipline, and responsibility for students is a crucial issue that needs to be addressed immediately. This study aims to analyze the collaboration model between parents and schools in supporting tahfidz programs and their contribution to the formation of religious character, discipline, and student responsibility. The research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by examining various relevant previous research results, as well as a qualitative descriptive approach to understand the dynamics of the collaboration. The results of the study show that strong collaboration between parents and schools in the tahfidz program has a significant impact on the formation of students' character. Effective forms of collaboration include intensive communication, active participation in the tahfidz process, and moral and material support at home. Children who receive optimal assistance from their parents tend to show stronger religious character, discipline in managing time, and a higher sense of responsibility for memorization. On the contrary, limited parental time, lack of understanding of memorization methods, and differences in commitment are the main inhibiting factors in the success of the program. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that synergy between parents and schools is the main key to the success of the tahfidz program to build a generation of character. Recommendations for schools are to strengthen the communication system with parents, provide training in memorization techniques for families, and create a conducive learning environment both at school and at home. Further research is recommended to involve field studies to get a more comprehensive picture of the implementation of this collaboration.

This paper discusses in depth the juridical review of the Draft Law on the Indonesian National Army (RUU TNI), by highlighting two key principles in the Indonesian constitutional system, namely civilian supremacy and the principle of the rule of law. Civilian supremacy places civilian authorities - especially the president and parliament - above military institutions in state policy-making, as a guarantee that military power does not become an autonomous force that can intervene in civilian political and governance processes. In this context, the role of the TNI must be placed proportionally and in accordance with the mandate of the constitution, especially Article 30 of the 1945 Constitution which affirms that the TNI as a means of state defence is subject to state policies and political decisions.Through a normative-analytical approach, this article examines the substance of the TNI Bill, including clauses governing the TNI's main tasks, its involvement in military operations other than war (OMSP), as well as authorities that could potentially have multiple interpretations if not accompanied by strict legal supervision and restrictions. Although this bill appears to respond to global dynamics in modern military governance, a number of provisions in it raise concerns about the imbalance between civilian and military power. If not anticipated with an effective civilian control system and transparent accountability mechanisms, the TNI Bill has the potential to deviate from the principles of the rule of law.

This study explores the relationship between religiosity and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) within contemporary organizations by adopting a positive psychology perspective. OCB is defined as discretionary behaviors by employees that go beyond their formal job duties and contribute positively to the overall functioning and success of the organization. Examples include helping colleagues, being punctual, and demonstrating initiative, which foster a cooperative and productive work environment. Religiosity, on the other hand, is understood as a belief system that shapes an individual’s values, attitudes, and behaviors, both intrinsically—stemming from internal spiritual commitment—and extrinsically—motivated by external social or cultural influences. Through a systematic review of ten national and international academic journals, this study identifies several common dimensions of OCB, such as altruism (helping others selflessly), civic virtue (active and responsible participation in organizational affairs), and conscientiousness (going beyond minimal job requirements). The findings reveal a consistent positive correlation between religiosity and OCB, especially in sectors like education, Islamic banking, and healthcare, where religious principles strongly influence organizational culture. The integration of religious values into organizational practices encourages employees to exhibit behaviors that promote harmony, ethical conduct, and a sense of community within the workplace. This is particularly evident in employees who possess high levels of intrinsic religiosity, as their internalized beliefs motivate them to engage in prosocial actions that benefit the organization. The study recommends that human resource management strategies incorporate religious or spiritual values to cultivate a positive organizational culture. Such integration can be achieved through training programs, leadership development, and reward systems that emphasize ethical behavior and social responsibility, ultimately leading to improved employee satisfaction, loyalty, and overall organizational performance.

Maggots are larvae of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) which have benefits as waste decomposers and have high potential as feed ingredients. This study aims to analyze the effect of power and time on maggot drying using microwaves. Using the Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD) method on microwave heating with a power of 2000 watts and 2500 watts, and a residence time of 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes, then the final maggot temperature was tested. The results showed that the final temperature of the maggot tended to increase with increasing power and residence time. This happens because high microwave power provides large energy in a very short time. This energy is efficiently absorbed by maggots through the mechanism of dipole rotation and ionic conduction, causing molecules to vibrate and rub with high intensity. The final temperature of the maggot is between 110oC-125 oC with the highest temperature at a power of 2500 and a drying time of 30 minutes.

This research study examines the dynamics of organizational communication and public communication in the recruitment process in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), with a particular focus on the tension between transparency efforts and the ongoing practice of entrusting positions. Despite the government's introduction of the Joint Recruitment of SOEs (RBB) program, which aims to digitize and standardize the selection of employees, a discrepancy emerges between the program's stated objectives and the perceptions of both the government and the public. The prevalence of complaints pertaining to the absence of information transparency, the lack of feedback mechanisms regarding unsuccessful outcomes, and the emergence of the term "insider" within the digital domain are indicative of deficiencies in two-way communication and a decline in public trust in the BUMN recruitment process. The present research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method and thematic analysis. The data presented herein were obtained through meticulous documentation studies of official documents from the FHCI, the Ministry of SOEs, and online media, as well as netnographic observations of public interactions on social media such as Instagram and Twitter. The analysis focused on public narratives, institutional communication patterns, and their impact on institutional reputation and legitimacy. The findings indicate that organizational communication within the RBB process remains hierarchical, failing to align with the ideal of reciprocal communication. The absence of information disclosure and the lack of a designated public forum for clarification engender significant discord between the assertions of institutional entities and the actual experiences of participants. This research recommends the implementation of measures to enhance the effectiveness of the aforementioned processes.

This literature study examines the construction of cultural identity through socio-economic practices in plantation ecosystems among the Acehnese, Malay, and Chinese communities in Indonesia. Using a systematic literature review of 42 selected sources (1990-2023), the research reveals that plantations function as sites of identity negotiation—dynamic arenas of cultural adaptation and resistance. In Aceh, the integration of Islamic values (zakat [alms] from plantations, meunasah education) and local wisdom (peusijuek rituals) mediates post-conflict reconciliation and identity transformation from "combatants" to "farmers" (Muchlis et al., 2023; Aulia et al., 2024). For the Malay community, the customary-territorial concept of bela kampung (communal defense) underpins resistance to authority fragmentation through gotong royong (mutual cooperation) and communal land allocation (Yunanda et al., 2024; Nasution et al., 2024). Meanwhile, the Chinese community develops invisibility strategies (e.g., land acquisition via family foundations, citizenship aliases) to convert legal marginalization into clan-based social capital (Irawan, 2016; Thung, 2018). Key findings highlight divergent identity sources: religiosity (Aceh), customary-territoriality (Malay), and clan social capital (Chinese). The study recommends integrating local wisdom into inclusive plantation policies and employing ethnographic approaches to examine identity intersectionality complexity.

Both the process of democratization and the societal change that has taken place in Indonesia have been significantly influenced by globalization. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review that focuses on the relationship between globalization, social transformation, and the growth of democracy in Indonesia. With the help of a qualitative methodology that is founded on literature studies, this research investigates the ways in which the flow of information, technology, and global values influences the mentalities of individuals, as well as the social structures and political dynamics in Indonesia. The findings of the study indicate that globalization fosters the development of a society that is more receptive to democratic principles, such as the protection of human rights, the freedom of expression, and the provision of opportunities for political engagement. There are, however, challenges that come along with globalization. These challenges include socio-economic inequality, the erosion of local values, and threats to ethnic and cultural sovereignty. With globalization serving as a catalyst in improving political freedom and expanding civil society involvement, the process of democratization in Indonesia developed fast after the reforms that took place in 1998. The findings of this study highlight the significance of policies that are capable of striking a balance between the impact of globalization and the maintenance of local identity. This is necessary in order to bring about social change that is inclusive and to enhance democracy in Indonesia in a way that is sustainable.

Cyber crime is increasingly prevalent with various modes, one of which is fraud under the guise of lottery prizes. This crime not only causes financial losses but also complicates law enforcement officials in terms of jurisdiction, especially if the perpetrators and victims are located in different regions, even across countries. This research aims to analyze how jurisdiction is enforced in dealing with cyber-based fraud crimes and examine the effectiveness of national legal instruments against the digital fraud mode. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with secondary data analyzed descriptively-analytically. The results show that jurisdictional enforcement in this case still faces technical and legal challenges, especially in the aspect of inter-state coordination and the limitations of domestic legal instruments in reaching cross-border perpetrators. Strengthening international cooperation and updating national regulations are needed to anticipate the dynamics of cybercrime.
