In society, there are terms like Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) which are generally considered as a form of sexual orientation deviation. Sexual orientation itself refers to a person's emotional, physical, or romantic attraction to either the same or the opposite sex. Some countries legalize homosexual life, including same-sex marriage, but in the context of sexual deviation, homosexuality is considered contrary to the norms and values maintained in society. Based on this, several issues are raised, namely how Indonesian criminal law, especially the Criminal Code (KUHP), regulates LGBT; looking at Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights for LGBT; and what legal efforts are made by the government to address issues related to LGBT. The author uses a descriptive analytical research method, with a normative descriptive approach that examines literature and regulations using qualitative legal analysis. The research results show that the provisions regarding homosexuality in Indonesian criminal law, which include Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender, are contained in Book II of the Criminal Code, Chapter XIV concerning Sexual Crimes, Article 292, and for cases involving children, are stipulated in Article 82 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2014. Furthermore, there is no legal recognition of homosexuality, and the law only permits homosexual practices involving children under the age of majority. The constitution recognizes human rights with limitations that may not conflict with regulations, morals, religious values, or public safety. The government is making efforts by coordinating not only with the LGBT community but also with relevant agencies, preventing violations arising from policies or systems, and continuously raising awareness among the government, the public, and various parties regarding human rights principles.

This study aims to determine the relationship between social stigma and psychological well-being in mothers of children with disabilities in Padang City. The background of this study is based on the negative labeling and discrimination often experienced by these mothers, which can affect their mental health and parenting skills in raising children with special needs. The social stigma attached to families with children with disabilities often makes mothers feel protected, experience emotional stress, and decrease self-confidence. This condition has the potential to cause prolonged stress that ultimately has a negative impact on their psychological well-being. This study used a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique, where 93 respondents mothers of children with disabilities in Padang City were selected as research participants. Data collection was carried out using an instrument in the form of a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. This scale measures two main variables: the level of social stigma experienced by mothers and the level of psychological well-being, which includes aspects such as happiness, life satisfaction, and overall mental health. The results showed that 30.1% of these mothers reported a high level of psychological well-being, while 34.4% reported a low level of social stigma. These findings indicate relatively good psychological well-being, although some mothers still experience social stigma. Statistical analysis using correlation revealed a significant negative relationship between social stigma and psychological well-being. This means that the lower the level of social stigma experienced by mothers, the higher their level of psychological well-being. These findings confirm that reducing social stigma and discrimination against mothers with children with disabilities is crucial for improving their quality of life.

Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious problem that requires a comprehensive prevention strategy. One key element in this effort is family education, which plays a frontline role in protecting adolescents from the negative influence of drugs. Through consistent education, supervision, and emotional support, families can build a foundation for positive behavior and mental resilience in adolescents. Effective family education includes open communication between parents and children, teaching moral and religious values, and creating a safe, harmonious, and warm home environment. Healthy communication allows adolescents to feel comfortable discussing problems or pressures they face, thereby minimizing the risk of falling into drug abuse. In addition to the role of the family, psychological approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) have proven effective in strengthening adolescents' resilience to social pressures and the temptation of drugs. CBT focuses on helping individuals recognize and change negative thought patterns and risky behaviors that trigger abuse. With CBT techniques, adolescents can learn stress management skills, improve decision-making skills, and develop healthier, adaptive behaviors. The integration of family education and CBT therapy results in a more holistic prevention approach. Families provide a foundation of morals, values, and emotional support, while CBT strengthens adolescents' psychological abilities to face life's challenges. This synergy can increase resilience, reduce vulnerability to negative influences, and equip adolescents with effective strategies for resisting drugs. By optimizing the role of the family and combining it with psychological interventions, it is hoped that a healthy, productive young generation will emerge, free from the threat of drugs, enabling them to contribute positively to society and the future of the nation.

Exposure to food advertising, particularly UPF (Ultra-Processed Food), not only impacts children's short-term food choices but also influences the formation of long-term unhealthy eating habits. Several studies have found that advertising's influence on children is not only direct but is also reinforced by environmental factors such as family eating habits, peer influence, and food accessibility at home and school. For example, children who regularly watch television unsupervised or who have personal devices with internet access are more likely to be exposed to UPF advertising, which is typically designed with bold colors, cartoon characters, and memorable slogans. This makes children more susceptible to influence and develop preferences for the promoted foods. Furthermore, UPF advertising often features emotional messages or positive associations such as fun, friendship, and rewards, further strengthening its appeal to children. When these advertisements are repeatedly exposed, children can internalize these messages and make them part of their eating experience. In the long term, this risks causing children to associate unhealthy foods with comfort or happiness, which can trigger emotional eating and increase the potential for eating disorders and the risk of non-communicable diseases. Therefore, it is crucial to involve various stakeholders, including parents, educators, industry players, and policymakers, in building a healthy eating environment. Media literacy education for children is also a crucial step in equipping them to be more critical of advertising messages. Strict regulations on food marketing aimed at children, such as banning UPF advertising during children's broadcast hours, regulating the use of cartoon characters, and providing clear and easy-to-understand nutrition labeling, are important strategies to reduce the negative impact of UPF advertising on children's health in the long term.

This study aims to determine the effect of paternal attachment on emotional regulation in late adolescents in Padang City. Paternal attachment is seen as a crucial factor in developing children's emotional regulation skills, particularly during late adolescence, which is the transitional phase toward adulthood. Late adolescence is a crucial period in an individual's psychological development, where the ability to manage and express emotions appropriately determines their mental and social well-being. A strong emotional attachment to a father is believed to provide a foundation of emotional security that helps adolescents regulate their emotional responses to various life pressures and challenges. This study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique and involved 272 late adolescent respondents in Padang City as a sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure the level of paternal attachment and adolescents' emotional regulation skills. Data collection was carried out with attention to the validity and reliability of the instrument so that the research results can be scientifically accounted for. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify the relationship and influence between paternal attachment variables and emotional regulation. The results showed that the level of father attachment in late adolescents was in the moderate category at 53.3%, while their level of emotional regulation was in the high category at 42.3%. These findings indicate that although father attachment did not reach the high category for most, adolescents' emotional regulation abilities were relatively good. Further statistical analysis revealed that there was an influence of father attachment on emotional regulation in late adolescents, but this influence was very weak. This indicates that although father attachment contributes, there are many other factors that play a role in shaping adolescents' emotional regulation abilities, such as attachment to the mother, peer support, education, and individual experiences.

This study aims to uncover the meaning of loyalty and sacrifice in the lyrics of the song "Sumpah dan Cinta Matiku" by Nidji through Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The analysis is conducted at three levels of meaning, namely denotative, connotative, and myth, to understand how song lyrics form emotional messages as well as ideologies in Indonesian popular culture. At the denotative level, a literal meaning is found regarding the pledge of loyalty and commitment of love between two people who are emotionally bound to each other. The connotative level displays emotional and cultural meanings in the form of a willingness to sacrifice and steadfastness in maintaining love, which is often depicted as a heroic and struggle-filled act. Meanwhile, at the mythical level, this song brings up the ideology of romantic love that is absolute, eternal, and demands unconditional sacrifice, as often found in love narratives in other popular media. Lyrics such as "Sumpah mati hanya kau yang kucinta" and "Meski badanku has become one with the ground, cintaku tetap hidup bagi bagi" reflect the cultural construction that true love must be proven by suffering, extreme loyalty, and even sacrifice of life. This meaning emphasizes that love is not merely an emotional connection, but a form of total devotion that cannot be shaken by any circumstances. This song indirectly instills the idea that love means being willing to lose everything, including one's life, to maintain that love. The results of this study indicate that these songs not only convey personal messages of love but also play a role in shaping and perpetuating the myth of love in society. This finding is reinforced by various previous studies that state that popular music plays a role as a medium for reproducing cultural values, particularly regarding idealized, sacrificial, and irrational love.

This study examines the role of sound design in creating a mystical atmosphere in the song “Alternate Universe” by the independent Yogyakarta band, The Melting Minds. The song adopts an exploratory approach to sonic atmosphere creation through elements such as sub-bass drones, long reverbs, pitch-shifted vocals, and extreme spatial panning. The aim of this research is to identify the sound design techniques used and analyze how listeners interpret their listening experience and how these elements contribute to the emotional experience and mystical perception built by the song. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive-interpretative method, with data collected through audio analysis, documentary observation, semi-structured interviews, and open-ended questionnaires given to 15 experimental music listeners. The theoretical framework includes Schafer’s soundscape theory, Schaeffer’s sound objects, Juslin & Västfjäll's BRECVEMA model of music emotions, and Stuart Hall’s reception theory to understand how listeners interpret their experience. The results show that sound design in this song is used strategically to create a transcendental listening experience, evoking a liminal and affective atmosphere. Techniques such as the use of deep sub-bass drones, extended reverbs, pitch-shifted vocals, and extreme spatial panning were found to be highly effective in shaping a mysterious and profound atmosphere. Listeners reported visualizations of a supernatural space, a floating sensation, and even intense spiritual experiences during the listening.

This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and readiness for change among employees at Ramayana Plaza Andalas Padang. The background of this study emphasizes the importance of human resource readiness in facing the increasingly rapid dynamics of organizational change, whether due to globalization, technological developments, or increasingly competitive market competition. Organizational change demands active involvement and psychological readiness from employees, and one factor believed to play a significant role in this readiness is the level of commitment to the organization. This study used a quantitative approach with a nonprobability sampling method, where data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Respondents were employees from various departments at Ramayana Plaza Andalas Padang. The results showed a significant relationship between organizational commitment and readiness for change. Specifically, affective commitment—which is an employee's emotional cessation of feelings toward the organization—and continuance commitment, which relates to the perception of the costs of leaving the organization, showed a positive relationship with readiness for change. Conversely, normative commitment, which stems from a sense of moral obligation to remain employed, showed a negative correlation, indicating that moral pressure without emotional involvement can hinder readiness for change. These findings indicate that although the overall level of readiness is quite high, several aspects such as fit (the appropriateness of change), change efficacy (belief in the ability to change), and management support still need improvement. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations focus more on strengthening affective commitment by actively involving employees in the decision-making process, building open communication, and providing training and coaching that supports ongoing readiness for change. Thus, the success of organizational change is greatly influenced by the quality of the emotional connection between employees and the organization.

This study discusses the phenomenon of silent lead in digital marketing strategy Amanah Bunda Daycare Semarang. This phenomenon refers to potential customers who have made an initial interaction through WhatsApp Business After seeing Meta Ads ads, but then do not continue communication or convert into customers. The phenomenon of silent leads is an important concern because although the digital marketing process manages to reach the target audience and trigger an initial response, the interaction does not continue until the purchase or registration stage of the service. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the characteristics of passive behavior. The Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the internal manager of Amanah Bunda Daycare and five informants identified as silent leads. The results showed that the passive attitude of potential customers is influenced by several main factors, namely the location that is considered less strategic or too far, the perception of prices that are considered high, personal conditions such as changes in plans or time constraints, as well as the quality of customer service communication that is perceived to be less than optimal in providing responses, information, and personal approach. This phenomenon has not been fully accommodated in classic conversion models such as Aida (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and model 5A (Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, Advocate). This shows that there are gaps in marketing communication strategies, especially in managing potential customers who initially respond positively but stop before conversion. Therefore, this study recommends the development of a more empathetic, structured and sustainable approach to communication. Suggested strategies include improving customer service systems based on quick response and personalization, implementing polite but consistent follow-up strategies, and composing marketing content that is able to build trust and emotional connection with potential customers. With these measures, it is expected that silent leads can be minimized and conversion rates increased significantly.

This study aims to determine audience perceptions of the Instagram Reels advertisement content of Wardah Matte Lip Cream "Tasya Farasya Approved" edition. This advertisement is the result of a collaboration between the local cosmetics brand Wardah and the famous beauty influencer Tasya Farasya. This phenomenon is interesting to study considering the trend of influencer-based marketing is increasingly dominant in beauty product promotion strategies, especially in building emotional closeness with consumers and maintaining loyalty to local brands. Consumer perception is an important aspect because it will influence purchasing interest, brand image, and future purchasing decisions. This study uses the perception theory from Jalaludin Rakhmat (2015) which explains that perception is a person's experience of an object or phenomenon obtained through the process of processing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from the information received. Based on this theory, this study adopted a quantitative descriptive approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are followers of Wardah's official Instagram account. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling to ensure the relevance of the data to the research focus. Descriptive data analysis was conducted using SPSS software to identify audience perception patterns regarding advertising content elements, such as visual appeal, message relevance, influencer credibility, and the product image's alignment with Wardah's brand image. This analysis is expected to reveal the extent to which brand and beauty influencer collaborations can create positive perceptions in consumers' minds. The research findings are expected to contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies in the cosmetics industry, particularly in utilizing influencer marketing effectively. Furthermore, the findings of this study can serve as a reference for other local brands in designing promotional campaigns that are relevant, engaging, and aligned with the characteristics of their target audience on social media.

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in marketing strategies, particularly in the increasingly competitive e-commerce sector. Shopee, as one of the largest marketplaces in Southeast Asia, utilizes digital marketing strategies intensively, including the use of various social media channels, paid advertising, and creative campaigns. Furthermore, Shopee holds massive promotions on special dates such as 9.9, 11.11, and 12.12, packaged with discounts, free shipping, and limited-time offers. This strategy also triggers the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon, where consumers are encouraged to make purchases immediately for fear of missing out on the opportunity to get the best deals. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing, Shopee promotions on special dates, and FOMO on the purchasing interest of students at UIN Datokarama Palu. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale, while data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results showed that the digital marketing variable (X1) did not have a significant effect on student purchasing interest. In contrast, Shopee's special date promo (X2) and FOMO (X3) proved to have a positive and significant impact. These findings indicate that direct promotional strategies that provide tangible benefits and an emotional, urgency-based approach are more effective in influencing consumer behavior than general digital marketing strategies. Therefore, for e-commerce players, strengthening promotional campaigns that capitalize on specific moments and emotional triggers can be key to increasing sales among young consumers.

Moral and social education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping children's character, developing noble character and social responsibility. In this context, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as a prime role model, whose behavior and sayings provide comprehensive guidance for the development of character values. This study aims to analyze authentic hadiths depicting the Prophet's interactions with children to uncover key moral and social values that can be integrated into contemporary Islamic education. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis techniques. Data were collected from relevant authentic hadith literature and then analyzed to identify moral values such as honesty, compassion, justice, empathy, and respect for children's rights. The analysis also considered the historical and social context of the hadiths, allowing interpretations of the values to be tailored to current educational needs. The results show that the Prophet Muhammad taught moral and social principles not only through verbal statements but also through concrete examples in his daily life. For example, he demonstrated gentleness toward children, respected their opinions, appreciated good behavior, and reprimanded them wisely when mistakes occurred. This approach creates an educational pattern that is not authoritarian, but rather builds positive emotional bonds between educators and students. These findings emphasize the relevance of prophetic values in shaping character education in the modern era, which often faces challenges of morality and the degradation of social values. Integrating these values into the curriculum and educational practices in schools and families is expected to produce individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess high moral integrity and social sensitivity.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of violence experienced by individuals in the early adulthood age range (18–25 years), which is often a manifestation of unresolved traumatic experiences. Unmanaged trauma can have profound psychological impacts, affecting an individual's identity, social relationships, and outlook on life. However, within the framework of positive psychology, there is the concept of Post Traumatic Growth (PTG), which explains the potential for psychological growth that can emerge after an individual experiences severe stress or trauma. PTG includes positive changes in oneself, increased meaning in life, personal strength, and appreciation for life. The concept of PTG is the main foundation in the creation of abstract sculptures that attempt to represent the psychological journey of victims of violence, from destructive conditions to recovery and self-awareness. Abstract forms are used as a visual medium to reflect inner conflict, identity fragmentation, and the complex process of internal transformation. The choice of abstraction allows for free expression of realistic forms, thus presenting a profound symbolic interpretation. The method of creation of the work is carried out through an artistic approach that emphasizes the exploration of form, texture, material, and space in three-dimensional expression. This process not only produces visual objects but also creates expressive symbols that contain narratives of psychological healing. The sculpture is presented as a contemplative medium that invites the audience to experience, understand, and interpret the inner journey of victims of violence. The resulting creation demonstrates that abstract sculpture can be a powerful means of emotional communication, facilitating public understanding of the experience of trauma and the potential for post-traumatic growth. Thus, this work not only serves as an artistic representation of the inner dynamics of victims of violence but also serves as a reflective medium that fosters awareness of the human capacity to recover and thrive after experiencing profound suffering.

Background: Pregnancy is a physiological process experienced by every woman, but it can be accompanied by various discomforts, both physical and psychological. In the third trimester, hormonal, physical, and emotional changes often trigger complaints such as anxiety, difficulty sleeping, and discomfort. These conditions, if not managed, can negatively impact the health of the mother and fetus, including increasing the risk of pregnancy complications. One non-pharmacological approach that is increasingly in demand to address these problems is aromatherapy, namely the use of essential oils from plants as a complementary therapy. Objective: This literature study aims to explore the effectiveness of aromatherapy in reducing anxiety levels and improving sleep quality in pregnant women, especially in the final trimester. Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted by analyzing ten national journal articles published between 2014–2024. Articles were selected through a purposive sampling method based on the suitability of the topics with aromatherapy, pregnancy, anxiety, and sleep quality. Results: Most studies show that aromatherapy, especially with lavender, orange, and chamomile essential oils, has a positive effect in reducing anxiety levels and improving sleep quality. The mechanism of action of aromatherapy is thought to involve stimulation of the limbic system in the brain via the olfactory pathway, which plays a role in regulating emotions, inducing relaxation, and reducing sympathetic nervous system activity. These effects help reduce tension and facilitate better sleep in pregnant women. Conclusion: Aromatherapy has been shown to be a safe, easy-to-implement, and effective complementary intervention for addressing anxiety and sleep disturbances in pregnancy. Healthcare providers, particularly midwives, are advised to integrate this therapy into holistic antenatal care to support the overall well-being of pregnant women.

Depression in adolescents is a significant mental health issue in Indonesia, with its prevalence increasing every year. Adolescence is a transitional period marked by complex physical, social, and psychological changes. During this phase, adolescents often face emotional instability, academic pressure, social demands, and confusion in establishing self-identity. These factors can trigger prolonged stress and increase the risk of depression. Appropriate prevention and intervention efforts are crucial to address this issue. One approach that has proven effective is art-based group therapy. Art therapy provides a space for adolescents to express their thoughts and feelings creatively through visual media, which can help them understand themselves, manage their emotions, and build social skills. This study used the Systematic Literature Review method to identify, analyze, and synthesize the results of studies related to the effectiveness of art therapy on adolescent mental health. Data sources were obtained from various national and international journals relevant to the keywords "Art Therapy", "adolescent depression", and "mental health". The results of the literature review indicate that art therapy consistently has positive impacts, including reducing depressive symptoms, increasing self-confidence, strengthening interpersonal skills, and developing emotional intelligence. The creative process in this therapy encourages adolescents to be more open, able to process emotional experiences, and find positive ways to deal with problems. Based on these findings, Art Therapy is recommended for ongoing implementation in schools and communities as part of mental health programs. This intervention serves not only as a means of recovery but also as a preventative measure in building adolescents' psychological resilience, enabling them to grow and develop optimally amidst the challenges of modern life.

Punitive populism is a political-legal phenomenon that replaces legal rationality and corrective justice with a rhetoric of power that negates the protection of human rights and the rehabilitative function of the criminal justice system. In this context, criminal policy tends to be characterized by a repressive approach that prioritizes symbolic punishment for short-term political legitimacy. Social polarization further strengthens the destructive power of punitive populism by making the issue of crime a symbolic instrument in identity conflicts, thereby losing its autonomy and submitting to an emotional, majoritarian logic. This study aims to analyze how punitive populism, as a product of the interaction between populist logic and social polarization, results in the erosion of the basic values of modern law, particularly the principles of proportionality, legal certainty, and human rights protection. Furthermore, this study also identifies structural barriers that hinder efforts to curb its expansion in criminal policy. The study uses qualitative methods with a conceptual approach. Data were obtained through library research of academic literature, legal documents, and policy analysis, then processed using qualitative analysis techniques and presented descriptively. The research findings show that punitive populism has shifted the orientation of criminal policy from a paradigm of justice and rehabilitation to a logic of punishment that is reactive to public emotional distress. The mass media, particularly within a polarized information ecosystem, plays a role in shaping distorted perceptions of crime, thereby reinforcing public demands for harsh and immediate policies. This situation creates legal vulnerability to political instrumentalism, threatens the principle of the rule of law, and deepens social exclusion of vulnerable groups. To address this, strategic steps are needed, including limiting fear-based political rhetoric, strengthening independent legal institutions, and rebuilding a criminal law paradigm based on substantive justice, inclusivity, and respect for human rights.

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in the way humans communicate and live their daily lives. One important innovation is Artificial Intelligence (AI), one tangible manifestation of which is the chatbot as a virtual friend. This study aims to examine the role of chatbots as virtual friends through a literature review approach. The results of the study indicate that chatbots can serve as a potential, easily accessible tool for providing emotional support. Chatbots are able to create a safe space for users, especially Generation Z, to express themselves and overcome loneliness. However, the relationship between humans and chatbots is complex. Chatbots can mimic supportive responses, but as algorithmic systems, their ability to experience true empathy is very limited. Users' awareness that responses are coming from a machine also influences perceptions of trustworthiness and the quality of the interaction. On the other hand, the use of chatbots also raises serious ethical challenges, such as data privacy issues, the potential for over-dependence, and increased loneliness if chatbots are used as a substitute for real social interaction. Therefore, the development and use of chatbots as virtual friends must be carried out with a critical understanding and ethical approach. Technology design oriented towards humanitarian values is needed so that the presence of chatbots does not diminish the essence of human relationships but instead becomes a psychosocially beneficial complement.

Dating violence among adolescents is a phenomenon that is often unnoticed and hidden behind relationships considered to be normal. Many adolescents get caught in unhealthy relationships due to a lack of understanding about boundaries and the types of violence that can occur in dating relationships, such as physical, verbal, emotional, and sexual abuse. Dating violence is often seen as part of the normal dynamics of a relationship, but it can have significant negative impacts on the mental and physical health of adolescents involved. This study aims to provide education on the importance of recognizing signs of dating violence and to encourage adolescents to build healthy, equitable relationships. Through educational activities, it is hoped that adolescents can increase their awareness of dating violence, understand the importance of boundaries, and gain the courage to take action if they or their partners experience violence. This education also aims to foster empathy, respect, and healthy communication skills between adolescent couples. The education provided includes information that helps adolescents recognize the different forms of violence and how to avoid them. It also emphasizes the importance of open communication and mutual support in relationships. With good communication skills, adolescents are expected to resolve conflicts constructively and keep their relationships positive. Values of equality and mutual respect in relationships are also introduced to ensure that both partners feel valued and respected. With a better understanding of healthy relationships, it is hoped that adolescents will be able to make better decisions in their relationships. Through ongoing education, dating violence can be prevented from an early age. This will allow adolescents to engage in safer, more respectful, and positive relationships, while reducing the negative effects of dating violence.
