Learning is a process of interaction between students, educators, and learning resources in a learning environment. The effectiveness of learning is greatly influenced by the teacher's ability to manage the class. At SDI Manumuti, a third-grade teacher demonstrated good classroom management in thematic learning, especially on the theme of caring for living things. Classroom management is an important factor in creating a conducive learning atmosphere so that the learning process can take place optimally. This study aims to explore more deeply the role of teachers in managing the class in thematic learning. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and interviews, while data analysis was carried out inductively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers play an important role in creating and maintaining conducive classroom conditions. These efforts are carried out through two main strategies. First, teachers prioritize three aspects in learning, namely: (1) strengthening character education through discussion activities that encourage students to appear in front of the class, thereby fostering self-confidence, discipline, and activeness; (2) strengthening literacy through reading materials or stories related to the theme at the beginning of the meeting; and (3) the application of 4C skills (Creative, Critical thinking, Communicative, and Collaborative) through varied learning activities, including learning outside the classroom to avoid boredom. Second, teachers often use discussion methods to train students to express opinions, speak in front of the class, and work together. This method is considered effective in building students' self-confidence and social skills.

The form of historicization in literary criminology views criminality as the result of power relations, unequal social structures, and history. Criminal acts in historicization are always placed in a specific time and place context, tracing how a behavior is considered “criminal” or “against the law” depending on the historical construction formed by the legal system, the state, and the rulers. Historicization also reveals that what is referred to as crime is not absolute, but can change according to historical developments and power struggles. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of criminalization in the novel Lampuki, which is not merely an individual deviant act, but a reflection of historical trauma and a flawed social structure. The approach used is literary sociology. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method with reading and note-taking techniques obtained from the novel Lampuki by Arafat Nur in the form of sentences and paragraphs. The results of the study show that there are seven data points that fall under the form of criminalization of history. From the seven data points, three findings were generalized and discovered in Arafat Nur novel Lampuki, namely: (1) transgenerational trauma of violence, (2) the destruction of the socio-cultural structure, and (3) dark figure of crime.

Hypertension is categorized as one of the most widespread chronic non-infectious conditions among the elderly and can heighten the risk of serious complications. A non-pharmacological strategy that may be implemented to manage hypertension is the administration of boiled moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), which are known among scientific communities for possessing antioxidant agents and potent bioactive molecules that function synergistically in maintaining cardiovascular stability and decreasing arterial pressure. This empirical study sought to examine how far the intake of boiled moringa leaves contributes to reducing blood pressure values in hypertensive older adults living within Meunasah Papeun Village, situated in Krueng Barona Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The statistical evaluation showed a significant p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a substantial effect under a quantitative quasi-experimental approach applying the One Group Pretest-Posttest model. The research sample included 20 participants chosen from a total population of 77 individuals through purposive sampling. The investigation took place from May 27 to June 25. Data were obtained using observation forms, standard operating procedures (SOP) for moringa leaf preparation, and manual sphygmomanometer readings. The findings revealed that prior to the application of treatment, the mean systolic blood pressure reached a level of 193.30 mmHg, whereas following the intervention it displayed a considerable decrease, it fell to 129.75 mmHg. The mean diastolic pressure also exhibited a decrease from 94.00 mmHg, confirming the notable influence of moringa leaf decoction in controlling hypertension. The formation of Islamic character and environmental awareness is an integral part of the national education goals which are oriented towards developing the personality of students as a whole. In rural schools, such as the free school in Karang Anyar Village, limited learning facilities often become a challenge in implementing character education based on Islamic and environmental values. This study aims to analyze efforts to strengthen Islamic character and environmental awareness through the use of school libraries and family medicinal plant (TOGA) planting activities as contextual learning tools. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation during the real work lecture (KKN) program. Data analysis is carried out through a process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions in order to obtain an in-depth picture of the effectiveness of the activity. The results of the study show that literacy activities in the library are able to increase reading interest, Islamic insight, and the habituation of religious attitudes among students. Meanwhile, TOGA activities contribute to the formation of attitudes of responsibility, mutual cooperation, and concern for the school environment. The synergy between these two activities has proven effective in strengthening Islamic character values and environmental awareness, as well as creating a school culture that is religious, productive, and ecologically aware.

This study aims to analyze the errors made by eleventh-grade students of SMA Swasta Eria in solving word problems related to quadratic equations and quadratic function graphs using Newman’s error taxonomy. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving 25 students who were given essay-type tests to measure both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. Data were collected from students’ written answers and analyzed according to Newman’s stages, which include reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and encoding. The findings reveal that errors occurred across all stages, with transformation errors and encoding errors being the most dominant. These mistakes generally stemmed from students’ inability to extract key information into correct mathematical models, inaccuracies in arithmetic operations, and insufficient understanding of fundamental quadratic concepts and their graphical representations. The results highlight the importance of instructional approaches that emphasize conceptual understanding, varied practice problems, and proper mathematical notation. Regular application of Newman’s error analysis is expected to help teachers provide more targeted feedback and improve students’ problem-solving abilities.

This study examines the concept of women's leadership from an Islamic and Catholic perspective and how religious values influence the acceptance and legitimacy of women's leadership in the public sphere. Using a qualitative approach using a desk study method, this study analyzes religious texts, scientific literature, and case studies of the leadership of two Southeast Asian women: Megawati Soekarnoputri in Indonesia and Corazon Aquino in the Philippines. The results show that both Islam and Catholicism have complex histories and interpretations of women's roles in leadership. While conservative and patriarchal readings exist within both traditions, there is also interpretive space that allows women to emerge as leaders. The leadership of Megawati and Aquino demonstrates that women are capable of leading with distinctive styles rooted in values of spirituality, morality, and service. Both demonstrate a non-confrontational yet effective leadership approach, which simultaneously opens up space for reinterpreting women's roles in religion and politics. Thus, women's leadership is not a deviation from religious teachings, but rather part of the socio-religious dynamic that demands inclusivity and equality.

This paper aims to explore the hermeneutics proposed by Fatima Mernissi in reading a hadith, especially those related to the hadith of female leadership. In this case, the hadith narrated by Abu Bakrah's companion stated that "a people who entrust their affairs to women will not be successful." This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analytical nature, which focuses on analyzing the sanad and matan and revealing how the socio-historical context of a hadith is narrated. The results of this study indicate that the hermeneutic concept proposed by Fatima Mernissi is able to identify bias in the narration of a hadith. In this case, the hadith narrated by Abu Bakra is considered weak for several reasons, such as the incompleteness of Abu Bakra's genealogy, the influence of the social conditions of the hadith, and the lack of credibility of the narrator. Therefore, the hermeneutic approach proposed by Fatima Mernissi provides a reinterpretation of the hadiths so that they are in line with the principle of justice.

The activity was carried out in September 2025 using an educational participatory method that actively involved MBKM UIN Palangka Raya students and students in each stage of the activity. The implementation of the activity consisted of four main stages, namely preparation, socialization, POC production practice, and evaluation and reflection. Students were trained to process noni fruit into liquid fertilizer through a fermentation process using additional ingredients of brown sugar, clean water, and EM4 solution as a microbial starter. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the scientific concepts of the fermentation process, organic waste management, and the application of science in everyday life. The application of POC on pakcoy plants showed better vegetative growth compared to untreated plants, characterized by greener leaves and sturdier stems. This activity not only strengthened the critical and collaborative thinking skills of the students but also fostered an environmentally conscious attitude in line with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. Thus, the training in making POC from noni fruit can be considered a best practice in the application of contextual learning based on ecology.

The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the spread of da'wah and the implementation of Islamic counseling. Da'wah that used to focus on face-to-face is now transformed through social media and digital platforms, so that religious messages can reach a wider audience without time and space limitations. Digital media presents opportunities for da'i to convey da'wah with varied and interesting content, especially for the younger generation. However, challenges remain, such as the lack of direct emotional interaction and the difficulty of monitoring potentially deviant content. Meanwhile, Islamic counseling in the digital era is developing through online services, either through websites, telephones, chats, and video conferences. These services facilitate access to counselling, reduce distance barriers and social stigma, and provide flexible counseling alternatives. However, online counseling also has weaknesses, such as limitations in reading body language, network technical constraints, and counselors' skills that are not optimal in utilizing technology. Thus, Islamic da'wah and counseling in the digital era require the readiness of human resources, mastery of technology, and the application of good ethics in order to run effectively, professionally, and provide wide benefits to society.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the sorogan and bandongan methods in Islamic boarding school (pesantren) learning through the perspective of educational psychology. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on library research, this study explores the relevance of these traditional teaching methods to behaviorist, cognitivist, and constructivist learning theories. The findings reveal that the sorogan method, which emphasizes personal interaction between students (santri) and teachers (kiai), plays a crucial role in improving reading accuracy, learning discipline, independence, and metacognitive abilities. Meanwhile, the bandongan method, which is conducted collectively, proves effective in strengthening conceptual understanding, fostering social learning, and internalizing moral and spiritual values within a communal context. The integration of these two methods represents a synergy between the intellectual tradition of pesantren and the principles of modern educational psychology that emphasize affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. The results indicate that the combined application of sorogan and bandongan can support the development of an adaptive pesantren curriculum aligned with the demands of 21st-century education while maintaining the Islamic scholarly tradition that serves as the foundation for character formation and personal development.

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of students' reading of the Qur'an through the application of the Tilawati method with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach at TPQ Roudhatul Jannah, Sindangkerta Village, Pagelaran District, Cianjur Regency. TPQ previously did not have a structured tahsin learning method so that students' abilities developed unevenly. The implementation of the program is carried out through five stages of ABCD: discovery, dream, design, define & deliver, and destiny. Activities start from identifying community assets, compiling common expectations, training planning, implementing classical and individual Tilawati learning, to evaluating the sustainability of the program through munaqosah. The results showed an increase in the ability of students in the aspects of tajweed, makhraj, and fluency in reading. TPQ teachers are also able to master the Tilawati method so that learning can continue independently after the program is completed. In addition, this activity strengthens collaboration between the community, teachers, and volunteers in creating a more effective learning environment. This program proves that the empowerment of community assets and the application of the Tilawati method are able to improve the quality of tahsin of students while strengthening the sustainability of community-based Qur'an learning.

Islamic philosophy is one of the most dynamic intellectual traditions in the history of Islamic civilization, but its development is often reduced in modern historiographical narratives that place it as a continuation or derivative of Greek philosophy alone. Through his work History of Islamic Philosophy, Henry Corbin offers a different hermeneutic and phenomenological framework for reading the development of Islamic philosophy, namely by placing it as a continuous tradition, spiritual-metaphysical in nature, and not limited by political boundaries or conventional chronological sequences. This article aims to critically examine Corbin's view of the continuity of Islamic philosophy, assess his intellectual contribution to the study of Islamic philosophy, and examine the methodological limitations of his approach. Through a literature review and content analysis of Corbin's book and relevant academic literature, this article finds that Corbin has succeeded in opening new horizons in understanding the richness of the Islamic intellectual tradition, particularly through his emphasis on the role of creative imagination, inner dimensions, and the continuity of the wisdom tradition in Iran. On the other hand, his tendency to focus on esoteric aspects and spiritual experiences makes his narrative less comprehensive in reaching the rational, political, and social traditions in Islamic philosophy. This article concludes that despite its limitations, Corbin's work still makes a significant contribution to the development of contemporary Islamic philosophy studies, particularly in establishing a more holistic, dialogical, and open approach to the metaphysical dimensions of Islamic tradition.

The richness of local legends, such as the legend of Giri Gajah from Gresik, faces the risk of being forgotten due to a lack of visual elements appealing to child audiences, especially those aged 8-10 years old. To revitalize this legend, a picture storybook was designed by creating character designs that could captivate children aged 8-10. This dynamic educational medium is the primary target. The focus of the design lies in the character design, making it the core visual element and narrative driver, which connects the oral tradition with the needs of contemporary media. The research method used is design thinking. The design results established four main characters, namely Pandu, Sunan Giri, Sunan Giri's Grandchild, and Gajah (Elephant), using a Semi-Realistic Cartoonist illustration style. This style was chosen for its ability to bridge the reality of local culture with a cheerful visual appeal. This design successfully created an effective medium for the preservation of local culture and the improvement of children's interest in reading.
