This research aims to analyze the strategy for developing laying chicken businesses in Batang Regency. This is because the current obstacles faced by chicken farming entrepreneurs will have an impact on business continuity, so a strategy design that is right on target is needed. Therefore, further analysis is needed on the business processes carried out in order to be able to compete with competitors competitively. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data was taken through direct observation, interviews and taking documents from chicken breeders in Batang Regency. The method used in this research is a purposive sample, namely taking samples with a specific purpose. This research uses primary data. The validity of the data in this research uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis in this research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis and interpretation approach. The results of the analysis prove that chicken breeders are in quadrant 1 position or support aggressive strategies to be able to develop and survive amidst increasingly competitive competition.

Teat dipping is the activity of dipping a dairy cow’s teat into an antiseptic solution was prevent mastitis. Every dairy farmer has different knowledge, attitude and skills. This research to determine the correlation between characteristics, knowledge, and attitude with skills of dairy farmers in teat dipping practices using correlation with SPPS 26. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative survey. The study was conducted at KUD Tulus Bakti, Pagu, Kediri from 7 June to 5 September 2021. Respondents in this study were 30 members KUD Tulus Bakti and dairy farmer. The result show that the knowledge and the attitudes of the dairy farmer in this study were categorized as good, and the skills of the dairy farmer in the study were categorized as moderate. Characteristics based on age, education level, number of livestock and farming experience are related to the farmer's skill in teat dipping practice. There is a significant correlation between knowledge and skills of dairy farmer in the practice of teat dipping of KUD Tulus Bakti members, and the level of the correlation is moderate. There is a significant correlation between attitudes and skills of dairy farmer in the practice of teat dipping members of KUD Tulus Bakti, and the level of correlation moderate.

The low performance produced by employees in carrying out their duties and work is thought to be related to the leadership style applied at the Soppeng Regency Livestock, Animal Health and Fisheries Service. These factors are variables that need to be studied in this research so that the influence of leadership style on the performance of employees of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Animal Health and Fisheries in Soppeng Regency can be determined. The aim of this research is: To determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance at the Department of Livestock, Animal Health and Fisheries, Soppeng Regency. This research was carried out at the Department of Livestock, Animal Health and Fisheries, Soppeng Regency, which is located on Jalan Salotungo Watansoppeng, Lalabta Rilau Village, Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. So the samples in this study were all 24 employees of the Soppeng Regency Animal Husbandry, Animal Health and Fisheries Service. To determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance, simple linear regression analysis was used. From the results of a simple regression analysis, it can be concluded that: Leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance at the Soppeng Regency Livestock, Animal Health and Fisheries Service. The suggestions given by researchers to the Soppeng Regency Animal Husbandry, Animal Health and Fisheries Service, are to maintain and improve the leadership style currently applied so that the performance of Soppeng Regency Animal Husbandry, Animal Health and Fisheries Service employees.

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya kebutuhan para peternak akan adanya sistem pemantauan gas berbahaya untuk kandang peternakan ayam. Setiap harinya ayam mengeluarkan kotoran 0.1 kg/hari untuk setiap satu ekor ayam yang jika menumpuk dan tidak didaur ulang akan menyebabkan polusi udara, serta terbentuknya gas berbahaya yaitu amonia dan metana. Gas amonia yang berlebihan dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan ayam dan juga manusia di sekitarnya. Sedangkan gas metana dapat mencemari udara serta merupakan salah satu gas rumah kaca. Dengan kondisi tersebut diperlukan sistem monitoring kondisi udara agar tidak kadar kedua gas berbahaya tersebut tidak berlebihan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pemantauan gas berbahaya  tersebut menggunakan sensor dan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Tujuannya agar peternak dapat melakukan pemantauan dari jarak jauh dengan menggunakan perangkat smart phone. Perangkat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sensor MQ-4 untuk deteksi metana, sensor MQ-135 untuk deteksi amonia dan ESP8266 sebagai microcontroller untuk perangkat IoT. Hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu peternak untuk menjaga kualitas udara di lingkungan kandang peternakan ayam yang dikelolanya.

Reward and punishment are two different things, but they are very important and interrelated because they have a role in making employees improve the quality of work and be more responsible for the tasks assigned. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reward and punishment on employee performance at the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health. The population used was 250 employees. The sampling method in this study with random sampling technique using the slovin formula to 154 respondents. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents using Likert scale measurements. The data analysis technique in this study uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression equation test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that reward and punishment have a positive effect on employee performance at Kementerian Pertanian Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan.

The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of respondents, the implementation of the Honey Bee Cultivation Training program and the level of farmer satisfaction with the Honey Bee Cultivation Training program. The samples used were 30 breeder samples and data collected by using. Data analysis uses the Index Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. The results of this include the characteristics of respondents who took part in the training, the majority of people of productive age were breeders aged 41-50 years as much as 37%. In terms of gender, the majority is male, 83%, which is because the breeders who take part in the Honey Bee Training program are not only from Simalungun Regency, but several breeders come from outside the city of Simalungun Regency. At the educational level, it was found that Bachelor graduates dominated the number by 60%. This is also related to the respondents' farming experience, several respondents who have more than 30 years of farming experience have high creativity and innovation in making stups or bee boxes using cement to prevent theft of beehives. Based on the calculation of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), the performance or service value provided by officers of the Flora Nauli Center Honey Bee Cultivation Training program in Simalungun Regency was 73,15. The CSI Value Criteria explains that the value of 73,15 is in the "Satisfied" criteria.

Salah satu kegiatan PKPM Institut Informatika dan Bisnis Darmajaya terletak di Desa Sumber Jaya Kecamatan Way Ratai Kabupaten Pesawaran Provinsi Lampung. Sebagian besar potensi yang ada di Desa Sumber Jaya berupa pertanian, peternakan, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), dan pariwisata. Pemasaran merupakan kunci utama dalam sebuah UMKM karena dari pemasaran pelaku usaha dapat mengetahui kondisi pasar, apa yang dibutuhkan oleh konsumen, membangun citra produk (branding), dan tujuan utama dari pemasaran adalah kepuasan konsumen. UMKM Edelweis belum terdaftar dalam Market Place ataupun E-commerce manapun seperti Facebook, Gojek, Shopee, Tiktok, dan lain-lain, sehingga kurangnya pemasaran produk secara online. Oleh sebab itu, kami selaku mahasiswa Institut Informatika dan Bisnis Darmajaya membantu mendaftarkan UMKM Edelweis ke beberapa platform e-commerce seperti Whatsapp Bisnis dan Instagram.

The Broiler Chicken business owned by Andien, belonging to Mrs. Tri Winarti, initially operated with a capacity of 12,000 chickens and planned to expand to 24,000 chickens. This study aims to assess the sustainability of the development of Andien's Broiler Chicken farm to 24,000 chickens from a financial perspective. Financial analysis was conducted through calculations of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). From the calculation results, it can be concluded that the expansion of Andien's Broiler Chicken business from 12,000 chickens to 24,000 chickens is a viable step based on the scenario calculations. The Payback Period (PP) is 1.31 periods, indicating a quick payback of investment as PP is less than 12 periods. The calculation results show an NPV value of Rp 4,936,714,867 using a 6% discount rate (based on the 2023 BRI KUR interest rate), and if using a 7% discount rate (based on the 2023 Mandiri KUR interest rate), the NPV would be 4,633,045,331. The presence of a positive NPV indicates the viability of this business development. The calculated IRR value reaches 22.26%, exceeding the 6% discount rate. The feasibility of the business is also supported by a BCR value of 1.09, where a ratio above 1 indicates the viability of the business.

The solutions for the problem of less optimal strategy implementation in BBI Sukamaju need to be found, and as the first step, efforts are needed to evaluate the chosen strategy, to review and to re-evaluate the situations (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and business threats), and also to update the formulated strategy so that it suits the developments of the external environment in order to support the efforts of function development of Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) on Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Ciamis at Supplying of Quality Fish Seeds in Ciamis Regency. This study explains the steps for choosing the right strategy based on the Routweer concept approach by comparing the performance of the strategy before the new strategy is introduced, which is the development strategy or known by the name Restructurisation. By using a semi-structured interview method, SWOT analysis and QSPM, there will be found an effective strategy that can help achieve the organization’s objectives effectively and efficiently to support the vision, mission and the goals of regional development. From this research, based on QSPM calculation results, it can be concluded that the strategy improves coordination with various work partners (7,8), increases the partnership with UPR to increase the seed production, increases the cooperation with universities, research institutes and other partners (6,25), and becomes a priority strategy.

This research was to determine the influence of decision-making factors for broiler farmer joining as partners with PT. X on farmer job-satisfaction. The research was conducted from 20 February to 20 March 2023 at farms of partners PT. X. The research sample consisted of 32 farmers as partner of PT. X. The methods used in this research were quantitative. Data were analyzed by using a Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that information factor variable had a significant influence on the satisfaction of farmers who had joined as partners with PT. X. However, other variables such as personality, coping, and culture did not have a significant influence on farmer satisfaction. The simultaneous influence of the variables, including the information factor, personality, coping, and culture, on farmer satisfaction was 24.9%, while the remaining 75.1% was influenced by other variables.

The community service program carried out by UPN Veteran East Java, especially the KKNT 06 group, aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the duck breeding community in Nglebak Jombang Village, especially in the aspect of hatching. Group 06 focuses on MSMEs of duck breeders because one of our flagship programs is to make an egg incubator machine. After the use of this egg incubator machine, the hope is that business people know that there is a more efficient way to improve the welfare of their business, and another thing that is desired is that the people of Nglebak Village are not left behind about technology in the current era of globalization. We, the KKNT 06 group, will not just let go of the Nglebak Village community, of course we will accompany them from how to make to how to use this tool until the results are clearly visible for the welfare of the Nglebak Village community.

Pengembangan kelembagaan, partisipasi dan kemandirian kelompok tani memiliki peranan dan andil yang sangat penting dengan pembangunan peternakan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu:(1) strategi dan upaya memperbaiki manajemen serta merubah pola pikir anggota kelompok tani. (2) menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan kelompok tani yang masih belum terstruktur. (3) mengetahui dan menganalisis upaya yang dilakukan dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian dan partisipasi anggota kelompok tani. (4) mengetahui dan menganalisis langkah-langkah yang akan dilakukan dalam menciptakan hubungan sosial serta komunikasi yang intens. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian : (1) strategi yang akan dilakukan dalam upaya memperbaiki manajemen serta merubah pola pikir anggota kelompok tani. (2) upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kelompok tani yang masih belum terstruktur. (3) upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian dan partisipasi anggota kelompok tani. (4) langkah-langkah yang dapat dilakukan dalam menciptakan hubungan sosial serta komunikasi yang intens. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan instrumen pengumpul data meliputi angket, kuesioner dan wawancara. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 155 responden dari anggota kelompok tani.  

Pengembangan sektor pertanian di pedesaan seringkali menghadapi berbagai kendala dan tantangan. Kendala dalam pembangunan pertanian ini dapat berupa berbagai factor seperti factor manusia maupun lingkungan yang dapat terjadi di Desa Cupak, Kecamatan Ngusikan, Kabupaten Jombang. Desa Cupak memiliki potensi bidang pertanian dan peternakan yang cukup baik. Potensi yang ada di desa ini antara lain ketersediaan lahan pertanian, adanya sektor perkebunan, dan tanaman pangan, ketersediaan SDM pertanian, dan adanya kegiatan kelompok tani yang cukup aktif. Sayangnya, potensi ini tidak diimbangi dengan pengembangan kemampuan petani dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Bertani sehingga hanya terbatas pada pengelolaan umbi porang yang seharusnya bisa dijadikan produk tertentu. Dengan masalah tersebut perlu diadakan serangkaian pelatihan bagi petani porang desa cupak.  

Abstrak - Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang kaya akan potensi kelautan dan perikanan sehingga banyak sekali masyarakat yang gemar memelihara ikan hias.  Meski demikian, dalam pemeliharaan ikan hias masih ditemui beberapa kendala. Salah satunya adalah kesulitan dalam mengontrol pakan ikan secara realtime, terutama ketika pemelihara tidak bisa melakukan secara langsung di lokasi. Demikian juga dengan pengontrolan kualitas air yang cukup menyulitkan. Dengan adanya teknologi informasi yang semakin berkembang, dapat membantu peternak dalam melakukan kontrol jarak jauh menggunakan Internet of Things (IoT). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem pakan otomatis serta monitoring Total Disslove Solid  (TDS), sehingga kualitas air akuarium dapat dipantau secara remote dengan memanfaatkan IoT. Hasil dari pengujian  menunjukkan bahwa sensor TDS dapat mengidentifikasi kualitas air akuarium, terutama terkait dengan tinggi rendahnya larutan kadar TDS di dalam air. Sedangkan pemberian pakan pada ikan hias dapat diberikan secara otomatis sesuai dengan jadwal pemberian pakan yang telah diatur sebelumnya.

Agriculture plays an important role in food sustainability and security in Indonesia, including in the City of Tuban. The city has wide potential for the development of the agricultural sector, including crops, plantations, animal husbandry, forestry and fisheries. However, the limited information regarding the current situation of these sectors raises the need for in-depth analysis. This study aims to analyze the portrait of agriculture in the city of Malang with a focus on crops, plantations, animal husbandry, forestry, and fisheries. This analysis will provide insight into the current status, development potential, challenges and opportunities within these sectors. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting field surveys, interviews with farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and other relevant stakeholders. The collected qualitative data were analyzed thematically to describe an overall picture of each agricultural sector. The results of the analysis show that the secondary crops sector has experienced positive growth, but still faces challenges in terms of access to markets and technology. Plantations have great potential in the development of superior commodities, but need to improve infrastructure and environmental sustainability. Livestock is experiencing rapid development, but faces problems in waste management and animal health. Forestry is faced with land expansion and forest restoration, while fisheries require steps to maintain the sustainability of fish resources. These findings provide important input for the local government and related stakeholders to develop a strategy for sustainable agricultural development in the City of Tuban. Efforts are needed to improve market access, strengthen infrastructure, improve waste management, improve animal health, and maintain the sustainability of fish resources. This analysis can also be the basis for further research and more effective policy planning in the agricultural sector in Tuban City.  

Livestock is a type of business that carries out activities of breeding or raising livestock. Companies engaged in the livestock sector have inventories or assets that are one of their characteristics, namely assets or livestock supplies, commonly referred to as biological inventories or assets. The accounting standard governing biological inventory or assets is Statement of Financial Accounting Standards 69 (PSAK 69) regarding Agriculture. The application of this accounting standard has many impacts on companies that apply it, but there are still many companies that do not apply this accounting standard and prefer to use the old accounting standards. This study aims to find out how the consequences or impacts arise from the implementation of PSAK 69 with the sample used is the company Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk as one of the companies that have implemented this accounting standard. The data used can be taken from the annual financial reports of the Company Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk on the website https://widomakmurperkasa.co.id for 2020 and 2021. The results received are in accordance with the results of research that has been carried out, one of which is the research conducted by Mohamad Dedi Junaedi in 2021 regarding "Biological Asset Accounting - Case Study of Pt. Seeds of Indonesia, namely the application of PSAK 69 has a significant impact on a company's financial reporting such as adding accounts and changes in the amount of current assets.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat mortalitas, berat badan, dan nilai Feeding Conversion Ratio (FCR) pada usaha peternakan ayam broiler di dua kandang mitra PT. Cemerlang Unggas Lestari (PT. CUL). Metode yang digunakan yaitu percobaan, dengan membandingkan tingkat mortalitas, berat panen, dan FCR ayam broiler yang dipelihara pada dua kandang berbeda yang dipanen umur 35 hari. Analisis data dengan uji t bebas antara lokasi pengamatan di dua kandang yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat mortalitas pada dua kandang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (p > 0,05). Berat panen pada dua kandang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (p < 0,05). Nilai FCR pada dua kandang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ayam broiler yang dipelihara rutin dengan pemberian pakan, obat, vitamin, dan vaksinasi yang sesuai, serta perkandangan yang baik akan menghasilkan hasil panen ayam broiler yang lebih produktif. Beberapa faktor yang memungkinkan terjadinya berbedaan nilai berat panen pada dua kandang berbeda seperti manajemen pemeliharaan rutin, manajemen perkandangan, jumlah ayam dipanen saat panen penjarangan atau panen ayam kecil. Produksi panen ayam broiler di mitra PT. CUL termasuk dalam kategori baik dan cukup produktif, sehingga mampu memberikan suplai produksi ayam broiler yang berkelanjutan.

Desa Karawana memiliki industry Pengelolaan limbah ternak kambing. Akan tetapi, dengan semakin padatnya pemukiman penduduk, usaha peternakan kambing mendapatkan tantangan terutama mengenai limbah yang dihasilkan. Limbah hasil peternakan kambing yang berupa feses, urin, dan sisa pakan jika tidak diolah akan menjadi sumber pencemaran lingkunganProses pengelolaan limbah ternak kambing ini memilik 4 tahapan proses. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kegiatan non fisik meliputi parsitipatif, dan pendampingan, serta metode kegiatan fisik berupa demonstrasi plot (demplot). Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa peternak memiliki keinginan yang kuat untuk meneruskan pengolahan limbah menjadi barang bernilai ekonomi.

Desa Bakung merupakan desa yang terletak di kecamatan Mijen kabupaten  Demak. Keseharian masyarakat Desa Bakung adalah bercocok tanam, bertani, buruh tani, peternak sapi dan peternak Kambing, kuli bangunan, buruh dan lain-lain. Keadaan wilayah Desa Bakung 80 % persawahan dari luas keseluruhan Desa Bakung. Letak geografis Desa Bakung berada di wilayah utara Kabupaten Demak. Zaman sekarang semua administrasi desa menggunakan internet. Penggunaan media yang bebasis IT menimbulkan kekhawatiran bagi para kader sebagai akibat dari kondisi yang sedang terjadi. Hal tersebut dapat berupa kurang familiarnya fungsi-fungsi IT bagi kader dan penggunaan  tidak dapat diaplikasikan secara maksimal. Tantangan di masa yang akan datang, salah satunya adalah  kecenderungan penggunaan IT di kehidupan era globalisasi. Sehingga,  masalah tersebut harus secara kontinyu  diupayakan untuk diselesaikan. Oleh karena itu, Tim pengabdian pada masyarakat Fakultas Bahasa dan Budaya Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang melakukan komunikasi secara intensif dengan pengelola Tim Penggerak PKK khususnya dengan para Kader posyandu untuk mendapatkan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Pendampingan dalam pengisian aplikasi Sigizidu bagi Kader Posyadu desa Bakung, Kecamatan Mijen, Kabupaten Demak. Metode yang diterapkan dalam program pengabdian ini, yaitu metode pembelajaran partisipatif melalui metode presentasi, demonstrasi dan simulasi serta pendampingan dengan memberikan 2 jenis materi utama yaitu dasar-dasar komputer dan handphone, serta teknik pengisian aplikasi Sigizidu. Setelah pengabdian ini diharapkan kader Posyandu dapat menggunakan handpone dan laptop dalam pengisian aplikasi Sigizidu secara teliti, benar, dan mahir. Kedepannya mampu menjadi Desa yang melek Teknologi.
