This community engagement program aims to analyze and strengthen institutional synergy among the Special Crimes Division, the Civil and Administrative Affairs Division, and the Intelligence Division of the Palangka Raya District Prosecutor’s Office through a community-organizing framework and participatory collaboration. The initiative stems from a strategic need to optimize coordination, enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement, and foster the development of an integrated work pattern that is responsive to the complexities of contemporary legal issues. Using the participatory action research (PAR) method, the program was implemented through participatory assessments, thematic discussions, field observations, case simulations, and the strengthening of legal administration, all of which collectively contributed to substantial improvements in analytical capacity, professionalism, and cross-divisional communication patterns. The findings indicate that synergy across divisions not only enhances the technical efficiency of case handling but also generates institutional social change through the establishment of new work routines, the emergence of local leaders, and the strengthening of internal social capital. Theoretically, these outcomes reinforce perspectives from collaborative governance, organizational learning, and institutional change, which emphasize that institutional transformation can only be achieved through functional integration, knowledge exchange, and the cultivation of a collaborative institutional culture. This program recommends the institutionalization of coordination procedures, the utilization of information technology as a tool for data integration, and the implementation of continuous synergistic training to sustain the changes achieved. Consequently, this engagement contributes both empirically and conceptually to the development of an adaptive, integrated law enforcement model aimed at improving the quality of public service delivery.

This study examines the effectiveness of digital storytelling in enhancing the speaking skills of secondary EFL learners. The research responds to persistent challenges in speaking instruction, particularly students’ limited fluency, low confidence, and insufficient exposure to meaningful communicative tasks. Using a mixed methods design, the study involved an eight week intervention in which students created scripted digital stories through narration, multimedia editing, and collaborative production. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments measuring fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and coherence, while qualitative data were obtained through observations, interviews, and student reflections. The findings reveal substantial improvements in speaking performance, especially in fluency and coherence, accompanied by increased engagement, reduced speaking anxiety, and heightened self awareness during the storytelling process. These results highlight that digital storytelling provides repeated oral practice and authentic communicative opportunities that support learners’ linguistic and affective development. The study offers implications for English teachers and curriculum designers by demonstrating that technology supported narrative tasks can be integrated into regular instruction to foster more interactive, creative, and student centered speaking learning environments.

In the era of globalisation and digital transformation, educational institutions are faced with the demand to produce graduates who are not only academically excellent, but also adaptive to changes and community needs. One approach that has been widely studied to address these challenges is the application of educational quality management. This study aims to systematically review various studies that discuss the concept, implementation, and results of the application of educational quality management, with the main question being how the application of quality management contributes to improving the quality of educational institutions. This study uses a literature review method by searching for scientific articles from 2019 to 2025 accessed through Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. The search was conducted using the keywords ‘educational quality management’, ‘quality implementation’, and ‘improvement of educational institution quality’. From the search results of 15 articles, five main articles were obtained and analysed in depth based on their relevance to the topic and contribution to the research focus. The results of the study revealed three main themes: first, quality management is implemented as a continuous improvement strategy that emphasises planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up on quality; second, transformational and collaborative leadership are determining factors in the successful implementation of quality management; third, the implementation of quality management has been proven to improve student academic achievement and the effectiveness of educational institutions. This study concludes that educational quality management plays a significant role in building a culture of quality, accountability, and professionalism among educators. Further research is recommended to explore models of digital and participatory quality management implementation in the context of 21st-century education.

This research was motivated by the findings of dishonest behavior among SMPN 2 Kalidawir students, such as cheating during exams and dishonesty in daily social interactions. This condition shows that the value of honesty has not developed optimally. Therefore, this study aims to analyze social studies teachers' strategies in instilling honesty in grade VIII students and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. The focus of the research includes two things: (1) teachers' strategies in instilling honesty through social studies learning, especially materials related to social interaction and students' daily lives; and (2) factors that affect the success of teachers in shaping the character of students' honesty. The approach used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. This method allows researchers to gain an in-depth understanding based on the interpretation of phenomena found in the field. The results of the study show that the strategy of instilling honesty values is carried out in an integrated manner through the example of teachers, habituating honest behavior, and providing positive motivation during the learning process. Teachers also integrate the value of honesty into relevant social studies materials and provide real examples in daily life. Supporting factors for the success of this strategy include consistent teacher examples, a conducive school environment, and targeted and collaborative student program support. However, there are inhibiting factors such as the influence of the environment outside the school, academic pressure, and diverse socioeconomic conditions of students. This research makes an important contribution to strengthening character education through social studies learning at the junior high school level.

Islamic Religious Education plays a pivotal role in the formation of students’ character, particularly within the setting of vocational health education. In light of the introduction of the Love-Based Curriculum initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, there is a pressing need for instructional strategies that effectively integrate the values of love, compassion, tolerance, and empathy into PAI teaching. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive description and critical analysis of the love-oriented PAI learning model implemented at SMK Kesehatan Athalla Putra Palembang, while also examining the challenges encountered and the solutions undertaken in its execution. The research adopts a qualitative field study approach, with data collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as document analysis. The findings indicate that several strategies have been employed, including interactive lectures, collaborative group discussions, socially oriented project-based learning, and the utilization of media designed to promote compassion. The successful implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum in this context is shaped by factors such as teacher competence, institutional support, and the adequacy of educational facilities. Nevertheless, a number of obstacles were identified, namely time constraints, limited professional training for teachers, and resistance to pedagogical change. Despite these challenges, the applied strategies proved to be effective in enhancing both student motivation and character development. Accordingly, it is recommended that the institution reinforce teacher professional development programs, establish a more structured syllabus, and institutionalize love-based values within both assessment practices and the broader school culture.
