This community service activity aimed to enhance human resource management (HRM) literacy among congregation members through weekly religious study sessions at Kramatwatu Mosque. HRM literacy is important not only in formal work environments, but also in family life, social organizations, and religious activities. The problem identified was the congregation’s limited understanding of basic HRM concepts, such as planning, organizing, role distribution, discipline, communication, and individual potential development. The community service program was carried out through an educational-participatory approach in the form of material presentation, interactive discussions, simple case studies, and reflection on Islamic values relevant to human resource management. The activity was implemented gradually in weekly religious study forums by taking into account the characteristics of the congregation. The results showed an improvement in the congregation’s understanding of the importance of HRM in daily life, particularly in the aspects of responsibility, cooperation, discipline, and self-capacity development. Weekly religious study sessions proved effective as a medium for community empowerment because they were able to integrate religious values with practical HRM concepts. Therefore, strengthening HRM literacy through weekly religious study sessions can serve as a relevant educational strategy to improve mosque-based human resource quality.

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the impact of financial and non-financial compensation effectiveness on turnover intention among Generation Z employees. The high turnover rates within Generation Z, despite receiving adequate financial compensation, indicate a shift in their preferences regarding the workforce. Generation Z tends to seek more than just financial compensation, such as flexibility, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for growth. The method used in this study is a literature review, analyzing various relevant scholarly journals related to strategic compensation, Generation Z characteristics, and turnover intention. The research findings show that non-financial compensation has a more significant impact in reducing turnover intention among Generation Z compared to financial compensation. Therefore, companies need to focus on aspects such as work-life balance, career development opportunities, and an inclusive and supportive work culture. These findings provide valuable insights that companies should adopt a more holistic reward approach through the total rewards concept, which includes both financial and non-financial compensation, in order to enhance loyalty and retention of Generation Z employees in the long term.

This study examines the lived faith of Catholic migrants from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) who have migrated to the Muslim-majority landscape of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. These migrants face a profound crisis of identity as they transition from a dominant religious environment to a marginalized minority status, necessitating a research objective that explores how their faith is reinterpreted amidst such socio-religious pressures. Employing a qualitative phenomenological-hermeneutical method, the research utilizes Paul Ricoeur’s threefold mimesis - prefiguration, configuration, and refiguration - as its primary interpretive framework. The findings reveal a significant narrative shift from an inherited “communal Catholic habitus” to a “refigured faith” characterized by personal agency and reflective commitment. This transformation is sustained through adaptive relational ethics, such as the sanctification of work and collaborative hospitality, which allow migrants to navigate their vulnerability. The study synthesizes these experiences to conclude that internal migration constitutes a vital locus theologicus, wherein the rupture of traditional religious structures does not erode faith but rather matures it into a more resilient, intentional, and relational existential orientation. Consequently, migration emerges as a transformative theological process that redefines the intersection of faith, culture, and minority existence in pluralistic societies.

This study discusses the design and simulation of an automatic lighting system based on a photodiode sensor using an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main controller. The system is designed to detect changes in ambient light intensity and automatically control the lamp without human intervention. The photodiode sensor is used as a light detector that converts light energy into an analog electrical signal, which is then processed by the Arduino to determine bright or dark conditions. The output from the Arduino subsequently controls a relay module that functions as an electronic switch to connect or disconnect the current to the light bulb. The research method employed is an experimental approach, which includes system planning, hardware design, software programming, simulation using Proteus, and system performance testing. The simulation results indicate that the system operates as expected, where the lamp automatically turns on when the light intensity decreases and turns off when the ambient brightness increases. This system is expected to improve electrical energy efficiency and provide ease of operation for lighting control, particularly in public facilitiesand workplace environments.

Submarine pipelines are vital infrastructures in aviation fuel distribution, carrying high risks of operational disruption, safety issues, and environmental pollution. In 2025, the aviation fuel receiving submarine pipeline at Integrated Terminal Ampenan was deformed due to mechanical pulling by MT Anargya I, causing system shutdown. This incident created risks of seawater intrusion, marine pollution, and potential fuel shortages at Lombok International Airport. This study evaluates the effectiveness of applying a double-ended draining method combined with an oil bubble trap as a fast, safe, and sustainable solution for submarine pipeline repair. Using a case study and descriptive-analytical approach based on the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP), the research analyzed quality, cost, delivery, safety, environmental, and workforce aspects. The results showed the method effectively drained aviation fuel without seawater contamination, prevented marine spills, maintained fuel quality within specifications, and completed repairs before critical stock levels were reached. Additionally, it provided significant cost savings compared to emergency supply operations and achieved zero safety incidents and environmental pollution. The integration of double-ended draining and oil bubble trap proved to be an effective, adaptive innovation with strong potential for replication and standardization in other aviation fuel submarine pipeline systems.

This study aims to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of the work environment and work-life balance on employee work stress at Hotel X. The research design is causal quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26.0 for Windows. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling (non-probability) of 120 respondents. The research subjects were employees working in shifts. The analysis results show that, (1) both variables simultaneously have a negative and significant effect on work stress, (2) the work environment has a negative and significant effect (sig. 0.002), and (3) work-life balance has a negative and significant effect (sig. 0.000). The work-life balance variable dominates its influence compared to the work environment, as seen from the lower significance value. These findings confirm that improving work-life balance and the work environment effectively reduces stress, especially for shift workers who are vulnerable to time imbalance. Based on the results, organizations are advised to optimize human resource management by maintaining a balance between job demands and employee conditions, as well as ensuring a proportional workload. Improvement in work-life balance can be achieved through flexible leave policies, adequate breaks between shifts, no overtime days except in emergencies, and minimizing personal time interruptions. These steps are expected to enhance employee well-being, retention, and productivity in the hospitality sector. Further research is recommended to explore different variables and methods, including comparing non-shift employees with the same variables, for more comprehensive insights.

Environmental damage caused by human activities has become an increasingly pressing global issue. Poetry as a literary work has the power to represent ecological problems symbolically and critically. This study aims to describe the representation of the impact of the environmental crisis in Taufiq Ismail's poems, namely "Menengajah Ke Atas, Merenungi Ozone yang Tak terlihat" and "Membaca Tanda-Tanda." The analysis is based on Greg Garrard's ecocritical study. This study uses a qualitative method with content analysis techniques. There are two stages of analysis, namely the literal and symbolic meaning of the poems, then an ecocritical interpretation is carried out based on Garrard's categories which include pollution, wilderness, apocalypse, dwelling, animals, and earth. The results of the study indicate that both poems represent the impact of the environmental crisis through health problems due to pollution and radiation, damage to water and forest ecosystems, climate change, threats to human living space, and the decline in biodiversity. The research findings also show that the most dominant categories are pollution and apocalypse, which confirms that the environmental crisis in Taufiq Ismail's poems is the result of human behavior that ignores nature. Thus, Taufiq Ismail's poems not only function as aesthetic works, but also as cultural criticism and moral warnings for humanity.

This study aims to collect Serawai ethnic folktales, analyze their narrative structures, and identify the cultural values embedded within them. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using structural and cultural value approaches. Data were obtained through interviews with informants, resulting in the collection of six Serawai folktales, namely Si Pahit Lidah (Serunting Sakti), Dusun Tinggi (Sebakas), Danau Kuranding, Batu Balai, Misteri Bukit Candi, and Sepit Kancing. The analysis focuses on structural elements, including theme, plot, characters and characterization, and setting, followed by an examination of cultural values using Clyde Kluckhohn’s cultural value orientation theory. The findings show that the six folktales are constructed through the integration of narrative elements that form a unified meaning and convey moral and cultural messages to the community. The dominant character, Serunting Sakti, represents wisdom, moral responsibility, and leadership. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that Serawai folktales contain five cultural value orientations proposed by Kluckhohn: the nature of human life, human work, human relations with time, human relations with nature, and human relations with others. These values are reflected in attitudes of wisdom, honesty, responsibility, hard work, appreciation of experience, environmental awareness, mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for customary traditions. Among these orientations, the most dominant is human relations with others. Overall, Serawai folktales function as oral literary heritage and as a medium for transmitting cultural values, preserving local wisdom, and strengthening Serawai cultural identity.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment on employee productivity at PT Harmoni Reka Cipta. The research employs a descriptive c method using Spradley’s approach, which includes place, actor, and situation. Informants were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in one key informant and four main informants relevant to the data requirements. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and field observations. The research findings, based on NVIVO analysis visualized through a word cloud, indicate that the most dominant aspect in discussions of the work environment is workplace facilities, followed by work relations, work atmosphere, and operational constraints. Interviews revealed that lighting and coworker relationships are generally in good condition; however, challenges remain, including limited workspace, insufficient facilities, and suboptimal air circulation, especially in the production area. These conditions affect employee comfort, focus, and work effectiveness. NVIVO results related to productivity show that quantity, quality, and timeliness are influenced by a work environment that is not yet fully supportive. Some delays occur due to high production intensity, heavy workloads, and inadequate facilities. This study concludes that improving facilities, reorganizing workspace layouts, and enhancing physical comfort are necessary to support optimal employee productivity

Patient safety culture is a critical component in healthcare organizations, reflecting the values, attitudes, competencies, and behavioral patterns that ensure safe patient care. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge and work environment on patient safety culture, with attitude serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design was employed, involving 118 nurses as respondents selected through total population sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The findings reveal that both knowledge and work environment have a significant direct effect on patient safety culture. Additionally, knowledge and work environment significantly influence attitudes, while attitudes themselves have a significant effect on patient safety culture. However, attitude does not mediate the relationship between knowledge and patient safety culture, but it does mediate the influence of the work environment on patient safety culture. These results indicate that improving nurses’ knowledge and creating a supportive work environment are essential strategies for strengthening patient safety culture. The study also highlights the importance of fostering positive attitudes through organizational support and conducive working conditions. The implications suggest that hospital management should focus on continuous training programs, enhancing workplace conditions, and developing systems that promote positive behavioral attitudes among healthcare workers to improve overall patient safety outcomes.

This study aims to examine the relationship between family support and depression levels among the elderly in Pejuang Village, Bekasi City, through a descriptive-narrative literature review. The review analyzed relevant scientific articles discussing family support, social support, and depression in older adults. Literature was selected based on the suitability of the elderly population, the presence of family or social support variables, and the measurement of depressive symptoms or depression levels. The analysis compared each article’s objectives, research design, respondent characteristics, instruments, findings, and conclusions. The results indicate that most studies found a relationship between family support or social support and depression among the elderly. Adequate family support, including emotional, instrumental, informational, and appraisal support, helps older adults feel cared for, valued, secure, and better able to adapt to the aging process. Preliminary findings at the Elderly Posyandu in Pejuang Village also show variations in family support and depression levels among elderly participants. Conversely, limited family support may increase loneliness, psychological distress, and depressive symptoms. Therefore, family support functions as a protective factor in reducing depression risk among older adults. Strengthening the involvement of families, health workers, and elderly posyandu cadres is necessary as a promotive and preventive strategy to maintain psychological well-being through education, early detection, and sustainable community-based assistance for vulnerable elderly groups living in community and family environments.
