Farmers in Kediri City still have low awareness of proper livestock waste management. It has also been reported that many local residents have complained about the pollution caused by livestock waste. Furthermore, the waste is often disposed of in makeshift dumping sites created by the farmers themselves, and some farmers even discharge livestock waste into the Brantas River. The purpose of this study was to analyze livestock farmers' participation and the factors influencing their involvement in the livestock waste processing program. The sampling technique in this study used the purposive sampling method, for sampling the population of farmers, it was obtained by the purposive sampling method, namely selecting respondents who participated in the beef cattle waste processing program in Kediri City. The main variables observed in this study were: motivation (X2), perception (X3), role of stakeholders (X4), participation (Y1), and sustainability (Y2). This research study employed a descriptive survey method. The questionnaires are the main tool in gathering data. The data analysis method involved statistical model testing using SEM SmartPLS. The results showed that livestock farmers' participation in the beef cattle waste processing program was influenced by motivation and perception variables. This is attributed to the minimal role played by stakeholders in livestock waste processing in Kediri City. This study is motivated by the low utilization rate of the National Digital Samsat (SIGNAL) application in Padang City, which only reached 2.1%. According to Grajek and Kretschmer (2008), a digital technology can be considered to have reached the critical mass phase when adoption rates range between 10% and 25% of the target market (Mahler & Rogers, 1999; Cool et al., 1995). Therefore, the adoption level of SIGNAL in Padang is still considered very low and has not yet entered a self-sustaining phase. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance of the SIGNAL application using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative method was applied, using data from 99 respondents analyzed through PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) significantly affects both Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Attitude Toward Using (ATU), while PU does not significantly influence ATU. PU and ATU have a significant influence on Intention to Use (ITU), which subsequently affects Actual System Usage (USE). The strongest outer loading indicators were: “easy to understand” (0.854) for PEU, “improves productivity” (0.803) for PU, “rejecting alternative options” (0.861) for ATU, “motivation to continue using” (0.852) for ITU, and “user satisfaction” (0.856) for USE.

This research aims to analyze the role of brand image as a mediating variable in the relationship between electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) and purchase intention for iPhone smartphone products in Denpasar City. The study is grounded in Consumer Behavior Theory, which explains how external and internal factors influence purchasing decisions. The widespread use of e-WOM in the digital age is a significant external factor in shaping consumer perceptions. Conversely, brand image is a critical internal asset for a company to build customer trust and loyalty. By understanding the interaction among these three variables, this research is expected to provide strategic insights for marketers. The study’s population includes Denpasar residents who either use or intend to purchase an iPhone smartphone. The sample size is 100 individuals, selected using a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria such as age, social media usage, and knowledge of iPhone products. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis methods used were descriptive and inferential analysis. Inferential analysis included the Classical Assumption Test to ensure the data met statistical requirements, Path Analysis to examine the direct and indirect relationships between variables, the Sobel Test to measure the significance of the mediation effect, and the Variance Accounted For (VAF) Test to determine the extent to which brand image mediates the relationship. The results show that brand image plays a partial mediating role in the effect of e-WOM on purchase intention. This indicates that e-WOM not only directly influences purchase intention but also indirectly through the formation of a positive brand image. This finding confirms the importance of brand image as a bridge connecting electronic word-of-mouth promotion with consumers’ purchasing decisions. The implications of this research are highly relevant for iPhone smartphone marketers.
