This research aims to uncover the symbolic meaning of stupas placed in front of houses of Buddhist communities affiliated with Vihara Mahanama in Semanding Village, Central Java. Stupas as architectural and symbolic elements hold important positions in religious practice and cultural identity of local Buddhist communities. This study employs a qualitative approach using case study methods with ethnographic perspectives. . In this era, globalization and information technology play a very important role in human life. Playing a role in selecting consumer products, people rely on technology and information media in selecting goods that suit their needs. This research aims to determine the content of the da'wah message in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement and to determine the meaning of connotation and denotation in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement. The research approach used by literature (library research) is descriptive qualitative and the analysis uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method, regarding the content of the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement's Da'wah message. The research results show that: 1) the denotational meaning of the Pepsodent advertisement is that there is still a lack of awareness among Indonesian people about brushing their teeth morning and night, especially parents. Meanwhile, the connotation means that a father as a role model for children often does not set a good example for children, and this advertisement shows that there is more closeness between father and child. The myth that emerges is the closeness of boys to their fathers and the myth that adult men do not pay enough attention to dental and oral health. 2) The content of the da'wah message is divided into three dimensions, namely the faith dimension, the moral dimension and the sharia dimension. The specific social meaning and impact as a symbol of the message of Islamic da'wah in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement in society is that it aims to seek salvation in the afterlife.

Basically, the term semiotics comes from the Greek word Semeion which means sign. The sign itself can be interpreted as something on the basis of a previously created social agreement that can be considered to represent something else. Previously, a sign could be interpreted as something that referred to the existence of another thing. Semiotic analysis here is an attempt to do something with the aim of feeling the presence or existence of something strange and foreign, something that we need to question more deeply when we observe the surrounding environment, read a text or certain narrative/discourse, observe the signs around us. We. Semiotics is also a scientific study which basically aims to understand and understand the existence of signs in human life. This can be interpreted as meaning that we must give everything that is in human life a meaning because we can see things related to human life as signs that have a meaning that has its own philosophical nature.

Semiotics is concerned with providing an interpretation that can be recognized through the signs displayed from symbols. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with a semiotic analysis approach. The logo analyzed was the Partai Amanat Nasional logo, going from the old logo to the new logo within the period determined by the researchers, namely November 7 to November 12. Researchers used this approach due to analysis of the logo shape of the Partai Amanat Nasional. The semiotic analysis used in this research is Charles Sanders Peirce's analysis because the researcher will specifically study and analyze the logo of the Partai Amanat Nasional. The findings show that the signs in the Partai Amanat Nasional logo design can be identified by applying colours, symbols and typography to convey support for Palestine. The image of a combination of a sign with a letter in the shape of the letter becomes a symbolic combination carried out on the PAN logo using a watermelon icon replacing the letter A. This can represent a concern for the problems that exist in Palestine.
