Dry noodles are noodles that are marketed in dry form. This noodle, which is also called egg noodle, has a low water content, only about 13%. Made from eggs and wheat flour, Dried noodles are processed by drying in an oven or drying in the sun to dry before being packaged and marketed. Tempeh has the potential to be used as raw material for noodles because it has a high protein content. Tempe is first processed into flour so that it becomes tempeh flour which will be used for making dry noodles. In addition, local raw materials such as mocaf flour and cow's milk are rich in nutrients such as protein content which can meet the protein needs in the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical and organoleptic characteristics of dry noodles from tempeh and mocaf flour with the addition of cow's milk and to determine which noodle formulations produced high protein content. The experimental design was a completely randomized design (CRD) with the first factor being the ratio of tempe flour and mocaf flour (70 : 30, 60 : 40 and 50 : 50) with the addition of cow's milk (50%, 75% and 100%). The large number of cattle breeders in Indonesia has positive and negative values. Cattle farmers generally produce livestock waste such as cow rumen. Cow rumen can be used as a starter for alternative biogas energy production, and cabbage vegetable waste has the potential to be used as raw material for making biogas, because it contains nutrients such as crude protein (PK) 22.47%, crude fat (LK) 3.05%, crude fiber (SK) 12.09%, dry matter 10.22% and extract material without nitrogen 34.96%. Apart from that, in this research cow rumen and EM4 were also used as starters for the anaerobic fermentation process. The cow's rumen contains methane bacteria, namely Methanosarcina sp, and the cow's rumen also contains quite high levels of organic compounds with a COD value of 17,183 mg/l. Effective Microorganisms (EM4) are bacteria whose function is to accelerate the degradation process of organic materials. The aim of this research is to design a biodigester, and carry out biodigester design trials. The research methods carried out are COD analysis, CH4 analysis and pH analysis. The results showed that the percentage of CH4 increased in a mixture of 100% cow rumen, because the total COD value in the substrate was directly proportional to the addition of the cow rumen composition. This can be seen from the total COD in 100% beef rumen starter of 1175 ppm.

Madura, an island in East Java, is known for its rich cultural heritage. Despite this, prevailing stereotypes in society often emphasize negative aspects of Madurese culture, which can obscure its valuable and positive traditions. One such cultural gem is Daul music—a vibrant and rhythmic musical expression that deserves greater public appreciation. This study explores the design and development of a digital comic titled “The Sparkle of Madura’s Daul”, which aims to introduce Daul music to a younger audience, particularly teenagers aged 18–22, through the Webtoon platform. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research gathered data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews to inform the design process. The comic is created not only as an engaging entertainment medium but also as a tool for cultural education and preservation. By integrating narrative and visual storytelling, the comic presents Daul music in a compelling and accessible format, positioning it as a cultural asset comparable to the well-known Karapan Sapi. The final product is intended to reshape perceptions of Madurese identity, promote cultural pride, and encourage the appreciation of traditional music among youth. This initiative highlights the potential of digital media to bridge generational and cultural gaps while revitalizing local heritage through creative means.

Propagation of rose plants through stem cuttings is a widely used method; however, its success is often influenced by the availability of adequate plant growth regulators and nutrients. The use of natural materials such as shallot extract as a source of plant growth regulators and cow manure as an organic fertilizer is expected to enhance the growth of cuttings in an environmentally friendly manner. This study aimed to determine the effect of soaking duration in shallot extract, the application of cow manure, and the interaction between both treatments on the growth of rose (Rosa hybrida L.) cuttings. The research was conducted in November 2025 in Sampe Cita Glugur Rimbun Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level. The study employed a factorial Randomized Block Design with two treatment factors and three replications, resulting in 48 experimental units. The first factor was the soaking duration in shallot extract (0, 4, 8, and 12 hours), while the second factor was the dosage of cow manure (0, 50, 100, and 150 g per polybag). Observed parameters included survival percentage, time of shoot emergence, number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, and leaf length. The results showed that all treatments, both individually and in interaction, had no significant effect on all growth parameters. Nevertheless, plant growth increased with plant age, with a relatively high and uniform survival rate of approximately ±90%. These findings indicate that, at the treatment levels applied, shallot extract and cow manure were not effective in significantly improving the growth of rose cuttings, suggesting that further research with different concentrations or treatment combinations is needed.

Diseases in cattle, especially Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), have a major economic impact on farmers. FMD is a highly contagious viral disease in even-toed ungulates such as cattle, buffalo, goats, and sheep. This virus from the genus Aphthovirus, family Picornaviridae spreads rapidly through direct contact, air, or contaminated objects. The impact of FMD is very detrimental, including decreased milk production in dairy cows, weight loss in beef cattle, and death in severe cases. In addition, high medical costs, restrictions on livestock trade, and reduced consumer confidence in livestock products are also important consequences. The FMD outbreak in Indonesia in 2022, especially in East Java, caused major losses for farmers. Therefore, a fast and accurate diagnostic system is needed for early detection of the disease. Early diagnosis helps farmers take appropriate treatment measures such as isolating infected livestock, administering drugs, and disinfecting pens to prevent the spread. This article discusses the implementation of the forward chaining method in an expert system for diagnosing cattle diseases, including FMD. This method analyzes cattle symptoms and matches them with rules in the knowledge base systematically, from symptoms to diagnosis. With this approach, the expert system can provide a fast and accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations. This is expected to help farmers reduce losses, increase productivity, and support the sustainability of cattle farming businesses in Indonesia.
