This study examines the dynamics of personal adjustment in Quranic memorization students using a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative field analysis as primary data and meta-analysis as secondary data. The field study involved 515 students from two Indonesian Islamic boarding schools: Pesantren Tahfizh Daarul Qur'an and Yayasan Islamic Centre Sumatera Utara. The meta-analysis included 30 studies (N = 4,827) from international databases. The quantitative analysis showed a high level of personal adjustment among students (M = 3.66, SD = 0.52), with the highest score on acting objectively according to one's conditions and potential (M = 3.85, SD = 0.48). Regression analysis revealed that self-acceptance significantly predicted overall personal adjustment (β = 0.42, p < .001). The meta-analysis confirmed a positive relationship between self-acceptance and personal adjustment (r = 0.53, 95% CI [0.47, 0.59]). Moderator analysis indicated a stronger effect for female students (r = 0.58) than males (r = 0.49). These findings extend the research of Ahmad et al. (2022) and Rahma (2023) by identifying unique factors influencing personal adjustment of Quranic memorization students, such as memorization intensity (β = 0.31, p < .01) and social support in Quranic boarding schools (β = 0.28, p < .01). Additionally, the integration of primary and secondary data provides a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of personal adjustment in Quranic memorization students, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based interventions to enhance the psychological well-being of these students.

Using a mixed-method approach, This study examines emotional support for Quranic memorization students (santri tahfidz) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Quantitative analysis of 515 santri tahfidz revealed high levels of emotional support (M = 3.74, SD = 0.68) with two primary dimensions: reliable relationships (74.96%) and trusted guidance (75.17%). Multiple regression analysis uncovered a significant relationship between emotional support and Quranic memorization achievement (β = 0.42, p < .001, R² = 0.18). A meta-analysis of 28 studies (N = 3,627) confirmed a positive correlation between emotional support and students' psychological well-being (r = 0.39, 95% CI [0.34, 0.44]). MANOVA results indicated significant differences in santri tahfidz's perceptions of emotional support based on gender (Wilks' λ = .97, F(2, 512) = 7.85, p < .001, partial η² = .03) and age (Wilks' λ = .95, F(4, 1022) = 6.73, p < .001, partial η² = .03). These findings extend previous research by Hasfi (2018) and Vista (2018) by identifying the specific roles of teacher support (β = 0.31, p < .01) and peer support (β = 0.28, p < .01) in enhancing student resilience. Furthermore, this study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of emotional support dynamics in pesantren tahfidz education, integrating Bronfenbrenner's (1979) ecological perspective and Deci and Ryan's (2000) self-determination theory. Finally in a practical context, the researcher evaluates this study has implications for the development of more structured and efficient emotional support intervention programs in tahfidz pesantren.

The global elderly population in 2022 was 1.4 billion, and in ASEAN, the number of elderly people reached 142 million or 8% of the population. Indonesia has become an aging population since 2021 with 10% of its population being elderly, reaching 28.9 million people in 2022, with 1 elderly person supported by 6 productive residents (BPS, 2022). In DKI Jakarta, there are 951,557 elderly people with 2,340 elderly people in Kelurahan Dukuh (Jakarta Open Data, 2020). The increasing number of elderly people indicates successful development, but unproductive, financially weak, sick elderly people without social security and needing assistance can become an economic burden (BKKBN, 2020). Neglected elderly are at risk of becoming PMKS and are fostered by the Social Service. These elderly people need social adaptation and are vulnerable to depression. This study aims to analyze the process of social adaptation and depression control in an effort to improve the quality of life of neglected elderly at Sasana Tresna Werdha Dukuh 5, 2023-2024. The observational study uses a sequential explanatory mixed-method approach with surveys and in-depth interviews as well as FGDs, using 19 respondents. The results show that 89.47% of respondents are young elderly, 68.42% show moderate social adaptation, 10.53% mild depression, and 26.32% have a moderate quality of life. Some of these elderly people experience social adaptation disorders and schizophrenia, as well as severe social problems. ASN and PJLP lack knowledge about mental disorders, especially depression. In conclusion, most neglected elderly fostered by PSTW experience good self-adaptation, do not experience depression, and have a good quality of life, but some elderly people are found to experience severe depression and moderate quality of life. Special education on mental health for ASN and PJLP is very necessary.

Industrialization, while often driving economic growth, has led to significant environmental degradation, particularly in marginalized communities. These populations, already vulnerable due to socio-economic and geographic factors, bear the brunt of the environmental harm caused by industrial activities. This study explores the role of social-legal instruments in mitigating ecological inequality, focusing on their ability to reduce environmental burdens and empower marginalized communities in industrializing regions. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining environmental data mapping and legal framework assessment. The study found that social-legal interventions, including rights-based advocacy, legal aid, and community participation, significantly reduced ecological disparities. By improving access to legal resources and fostering active community engagement in environmental governance, these interventions empowered vulnerable populations to advocate for their environmental rights. Positive correlations were found between the implementation of robust legal frameworks and reductions in pollution exposure, highlighting the effectiveness of integrating environmental and social protections. However, the study also identified several barriers to the effective implementation of these instruments, including political resistance, resource limitations, and unequal access to legal support. These challenges hinder the full realization of social-legal frameworks' potential. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers to strengthen social-legal instruments by incorporating social equity into environmental regulations and improving the resources available to marginalized communities. Further research is needed to assess the long-term impacts of social-legal interventions and their scalability to other industrializing regions, with an emphasis on enhancing both ecological and social outcomes.

Wontons consist of skin and filling. Generally, wonton skin is made from wheat flour, oil, water and salt. In this research, wonton skin was made with different characteristics by replacing wheat flour with tangmien flour. The wheat flour in wonton skin can be replaced 100% with tangmien flour because it has fine and soft characteristics which make the wonton skin color more transparent white and have a flexible texture. One effort to increase nutritional value and appearance is by adding green spinach (amarathus hybridus l.) juice. Green spinach contains chlorophyll which can be used as a natural coloring in food processing. Green spinach is mixed with 20gr, 40gr and 60gr of tangmien flour which is useful for changing the color of the wonton skin so that it has different color variants. Research Objectives: 1) To determine the sensory quality of wonton skin which includes color, texture, aroma and taste; and 2) To determine the nutritional content which includes energy, carbohydrates, fiber, iron, and vitamins A, B, C. The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education presents both opportunities and ethical challenges, especially for faith based institutions such as Christian schools. These institutions must balance technological innovation with their theological commitments. As AI becomes more embedded in educational environments, Christian educators face the challenge of integrating AI in a way that aligns with Christian values, human dignity, and relational teaching roles. This study explores how Christian moral teachings can guide the integration of AI into education, providing a framework for ethical AI use in Christian schools. Previous studies have highlighted the ethical concerns associated with AI, including algorithmic bias, data privacy, and the potential for AI to undermine relational teaching roles. Christian educational theology, which emphasizes values such as human dignity, justice, and fairness, offers a robust framework for addressing these concerns. A biblical worldview and the concept of Imago Dei (the image of God) provide theological foundations for integrating AI ethically in education, ensuring that AI tools enhance human centered learning rather than replace human educators. Additionally, literature suggests that ethical guidelines informed by Christian teachings can mitigate AI's ethical risks and promote a more inclusive and equitable educational environment. This study employs a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative phase involves document analysis and interviews with Christian educators and theologians to explore theological reflections on AI and its ethical implications.
