At this time, times are increasingly developing and experiencing rapid progress, so that the term "modernity" appears. Currently, what is really feared is "the methods or actions that need to be taken by young people in maintaining the values ​​or meaning contained in the seblang tradition" if you look at the increasingly advanced way of thinking and behavior of young people today. The seblang tradition originates from Banyuwangi, East Java, Olehsari Village, whose cultural community still upholds customs and social harmony. The seblang tradition is a dance performed to ward off evil or bad luck which is performed once a year, precisely on holidays. The method used in the research is qualitative research, namely using ethnography which explains the norms, traditions, values ​​and actions carried out in the Seblang dance. The seblang tradition has been passed down from generation to generation and is mandatory. If this tradition is not carried out within a year, one of the ancestral spirits will come to one of the residents and possess the resident to give a "sign" that the seblang haru tradition is being carried out. Apart from that, the existence of modernity poses a risk if it is forced into seblang traditions. Because the risk posed will dilute the meaning contained in the seblang tradition.

Purworejo Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency is one of the onion producers in East Java. Purworejo Village has geographical and climatic conditions that support the growth of onions well. Fertile soil and sufficient rainfall enable farmers to obtain optimal harvest results. Agricultural knowledge and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation have become valuable capital for local farmers in managing shallot crops well. In Purworejo Village there is agricultural land that uses a greenhouse system, however the green house has been unused and neglected because it is poorly maintained. The PPK HMD Management team is working together with the Karya Bakti 1 Farmers Group in Purworejo Village to revitalize and reuse greenhouse agricultural land for planting shallots. Methods used in revitalization include evaluating land conditions, soil analysis and fertilization, water management, and routine maintenance. The results of the revitalization of the greenhouse will be used as an outdoor education center which is useful for providing experience in raising shallots through to the harvesting process as an application of shallot farming theory.

The Sumatran tiger is the only type of tiger remaining in Indonesia, other types such as the Balinese tiger and Javanese tiger have become extinct. The lack of introduction to the Sumatran Tiger animal, and the lack of interest in existing books about the Sumatran Tiger, means that children aged 6-8 years do not fully know the Sumatran Tiger animal. Therefore, this design was created to create a new educational media that is appropriate and fun for children aged 6-8 years to learn about the Sumatran tiger. This activity book contains narratives and information about the characteristics of the Sumatran Tiger, how to breed, how to survive, the decline in the Sumatran Tiger population, and contains illustrations and activity content in the form of mazes, counting, find the different, coloring and flashlight pages. Using the glass box method, the design systematically applies the stages of preparation, incubation, illumination and verification. Through these stages, the main media is produced in the form of activity books and supporting media, namely t-shirts, x-banners, string bags, posters, stickers and keychains.

This study aims to analyze the difference in the value of West Java's BAZNAS' financial performance before and after Covid-19. Use descriptive analysis techniques in conjunction with quantitative approaches to produce a comprehensive picture. The sources of research data are primary data and secondary data. The method of calculating zakat financial ratios uses the formula Net Allocation Ratio, Zakat Allocation Ratio, Infaq and Shodaqo Allocation Ratio, ZIS Turnover, Current Ratio, and Cash to ZIS Ratio. Data analysis techniques to measure differences in BAZNAS performance before and after the pandemic, the author uses a statistical test, namely paired sample t-Test. Paired sample t-Test is a difference test between two paired samples. Based on the results of paired sample t-test, all financial ratios tested did not have a significant difference between before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This means that the collection and distribution of zakat funds during the Covid-19 pandemic did not experience significant differences.

The problem of waste is a complex problem that will never end, especially in developing countries. The increasing population of humans is accompanied by an increase in the amount of waste generated. Sidoarjo Regency is a regency that is registered as the regency with the largest volume of waste in East Java, which causes overload of waste in its landfill. This research aims to clearly understand the process of collaborative governance in the waste reduction program at Jabon Landfill, Sidoarjo. This research method uses a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through documentation and literature study. The data analysis method in this study is descriptive-qualitative. The theory used in this study is the collaborative governance theory by Ratner (2012). The results of this study show that the collaborative governance process that occurs in the "Waste Reduction Program" at Jabon Landfill, Sidoarjo only involves the community and informal organizations, not yet involving the private sector in its management.

In Regency Majalengka, West Java, this community service adopts the idea of business communication training for public perpetrators in Industry Small Intermediate (IKM). The goal of this activity is to increase the public's ability to rise beyond COVID-19 by teaching them more effective communication skills and how to perceive and analyze market trends. Method implementation activities take the form of seminars or workshops with around 49 participants over the course of a full day. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan kelayakan media pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan efektifitas media pembelajaran roda aksara pada mata pelajaran Bahasan Jawa materi aksara Jawa di kelas III.A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Roudhotul Islamiyah Sawocangkring. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (analisis, perancangan, pengebangan, penerapan, evaluasi). Hasil penilaian kelayakan media roda aksara didapatkan dari hasil validasi dari ahli media sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat valid serta hasil validasi media dari ahli materi sebesar 77,5% dengan kategori valid. Hasil keefektifan media pembelajaran roda aksara didapatkan melalui hasil respon peserta didik dengan menggunakan tes tertulis yang mendapatkan hasil thitung sebesar 11,33 dan ttaabelsebesar 2,06 sehingga media roda aksara dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

TikTok in the transmedia era known as an entertainment, expression and education space. TikTok’s content creators (Abing, Fahrul, BM) actively post to preserve culture. This research examines TikTok as an education and expression’s medium, challenges the gender dichotomy in Indonesia’s new masculinity. This research uses the case study, interview art activists, finding audience's reception from the comments, documents, relevant preliminary research. The results show male traditional dancers use TikTok to express themselves and preserve local culture. TikTok’s existence also shifts masculinity where it is not only interpreted as a form of virility, but also contains tenderness and femininity in traditional dance.

Character education is important in the content of the elementary school curriculum. The content of this curriculum can be constructed on local content subjects, in addition to conveying material as well as strengthening character according to local customs and culture. The development of character education that contains traditional values and local culture is important because it sees the reality on the ground that school children are very dependent on gadgets but are not used for educational activities, and in making decisions for the future they are still very dependent and centered on parents' decisions. So that the service team from the Unisri PPKn study program was motivated to provide workshops on the implementation of regional culture-based local content curricula. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh partisipasi pengambilan keputusan terhadap kinerja organisasi yang dimediasi oleh komitmen kerja membangun perusahaan percetakan dan penerbitan kota semarang, provinsi jawa tengah, Indonesia. Berdasarkan tujuan utama penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan deskriptif korelatif berdasarkan data yang dikumpulkan yang telah dilakukan pada tahun 2021. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan penerbitan di kota semarang yang mempunyai kantor cabang sebagai distributor di bagian penjualan. Jumlah pegawai di kantor pusat dan cabang sebanyak 1.260 orang. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 200 orang, dengan teknik probabilitas sampling. Model kerangka teori yang dibuat menunjukkan adanya variabel intervening yang berfungsi untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), dengan menggunakan Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, komitmen organisasi dan individu mempunyai pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi. The main purpose of this research is to study the impact of participation on decision-making towards organizational performance mediated by workplace commitment to construct a printing and publishing company in Semarang City, province of central Java, Indonesia. Based on the main purpose this research is an applied research descriptive correlative based on data collected which had been done in 2021. The research population consists of employees who work in publishing companies in the city of Semarang which have branch offices as distributors in sales. The number of employees at the head office and branches is 1,260 people. The number of samples taken was as many as 200 people, with a probability sampling technique. The theoretical frame model that has been made shows the existence of intervening variables, those to test the hypothesis which is already proposed. Hypothesis testing is carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), using the Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). The result of hypothesis examination shows that participation in decision-making, and organizational and individual commitment have a significant positive influence on organizational performance.

Based on data released by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpppa), the number of cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT) that occurred in Indonesia throughout 2020 was still very high. East Java ranks second highest after Central Java as the province with the most domestic violence cases throughout 2020, with 1,588 cases. This figure is obtained from the number of cases of domestic violence reported in all cities in East Java. Efforts to reduce the incidence of domestic violence are not enough just to take repressive actions against perpetrators of domestic violence. What is more important is preventive action to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence. One of the causes of domestic violence can occur is the lack of public knowledge about what is meant by domestic violence. Because there are still many cases of domestic violence that occur during this Covid-19 Pandemic. This is where the role of universities is expected to be able to provide knowledge to the community, not only for women or children, but also for men. One of the things that universities can do in providing knowledge to the community regarding domestic violence is by conducting socialization and legal counseling. The role of legal counseling can provide increased legal knowledge to community members in order to avoid violations of the law, especially Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Another benefit of legal counseling is that the community can play an active role directly with other communities to transmit or relay the relay to other members of the community such as within the family, neighbors, in the neighborhood associations and neighborhood associations in the East Java region. Darsono Village is a village located in Arjasa District, Jember Regency, East Java. The economic condition in Darsono Village is relatively low and exacerbated by low literacy skills. Darsono Village has several potentials, such as empty land, beautiful village atmosphere and various facilities in the village.  Therefore, we carry out a service program that focuses on improving the quality of formal education through the program "Edu Nature Park: Creative Education Vehicle as a Means of Improving the Life Skills of Elementary School Students with Natural Nuances in Darsono Village, Jember Regency". Edu Nature Park is a fun educational program that refers to nature in Darsono Village. The problem in Darsono Village is that there are still cases of school dropouts due to economic factors and underage marriages to the low interest in reading by the community. The majority of children in Darsono Village often use their time by playing. The method of empowering rural communities is carried out in full in the field (offline) using the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method.  

The purpose of this paper is to determine the occurrence of the return of containers from the port to PT. Sentra Sinar Baru (Persero) Central Java Region due to not being loaded on the ship, delivery orders issued before confirmation to the depot, damage to containers during loading and unloading at the port and at the depo container yard. The data collection method used by the author is the observation method by making direct observations at PT. Sentra Sinar Baru Semarang Branch, interview method by interviewing several staff at PT. Sentra Sinar Baru Semarang Branch, the method of studying the literature contained in the book as a reference in this writing, as well as the method of documentation carried out by collecting documents deemed relevant to the title. The results of this discussion indicate that the prevention of containers that are not loaded on the ship by PT. Sentra Sinar Baru (Persero) in the Central Java region, reducing the occurrence of delivery orders issued early with effective communication between shipping companies and depots, minimizing damage to containers at the port or at the container yard.

This study aims to provide an understanding of the application of interpersonal communication through social media in a vocational high school environment, namely at SMK Negeri 1 Babelan, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The implementation steps given to SMK Negeri 1 Babelan, Bekasi Regency, are related to an aware understanding of media law to prevent the negative effects of social media, especially considering the current condition of the younger generation who are very active on social media, they must be equipped with knowledge of understanding content which can lead to social legal sanctions. to be wiser in using social media at an early age. The qualitative method is descriptive. Data was collected through observation, interviews, discussion forums and documentation. While the data analysis technique is presented in the form of narrative text through procedures namely coding, data reduction, data presentation, data triangulation, drawing conclusions and data analysis. The results show that the steps for implementing interpersonal communication are very comprehensive to help students and teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Babelan understand the importance of ethics in communicating online, especially when having to carry out activities with students online. Many teachers and students at SMK N 1 Babelan are active on various social media platforms so it is important for teachers and students to understand how to communicate properly and effectively. Poor communication on social media can negatively affect the image and reputation of a teacher, school or institution. As for the implications that need to be carried out related to understanding the law so that understanding about legal awareness of media is very important to prevent, the negative impact of social media is even greater when there is a lack of knowledge about understanding content which can lead to legal sanctions for the students themselves or the social environment.

The activities of the University of Madura Real Work Lecture Program (KKN) in Taro'an Village, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province had a positive impact on the development of MSMEs in Taro'an Village. One aspect that is very important in the development of MSMEs is business legality. Business legality has an important role because the legality of a business is a form of granting permits for organizers of business activities that are granted by the competent authority to business actors. With the Online Single Submission web, it makes it easier for business people to make NIB. In Taro'an Village there are 2 excellent SMEs, namely Kripik Tette and Traditional Jamu such as sinom and betel keys. The purpose of this study is to provide an explanation of the importance of making a Business Identification Number (NIB) as an activity for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Taro'an Village. Community Service Lecture (KKN) activities will help provide understanding to the community and introduce NIB. Islam is a teaching that reliably shows the meaning of harmony and harmony. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Islamic Spirituality and Work Ethics on Organizational Commitment by examining Job Satisfaction as a mediating variabel on Employees of the Financial Services and Insurance City in West Java. This research is quantitative using primary data. Data analysis was carried out using 100 questionnaires processed with SPSS 27 which showed that Job Satisfaction (Z) was able to mediate the influence of Islamic Spirituality (X1) and Work Ethics (X2) on Organizational Commitment (Y). There is a limitation in this research which is the proportion of the number of research samples. which is less evenly distributed in workplace locations which are still centered in Greater Bandung and employment sectors which are still centered in Conventional Commercial Banks, Rural Banks and Other Financing Institutions. The nature of employees in the Financial Services and Insurance Sector required them to comply with lots of ethical standards. Therefore, Islamic Spirituality and Work Ethics need to be facilitated and encouraged to increase Job Satisfaction which has an impact on Organizational Commitment in a way to achieve organizational purposes.

The role of human resources is needed to achieve good results within the company. Whether a company develops or not depends on the human resources in the company itself. Companies are required to find and print employees who will later provide good work results. Performance can be influenced by recruitment, selection and training and can be through the role of competency variables. The study aims to determine the role of recruitment, selection, and training on employee performance with competence as a mediating variable at the Aromatique Art Lab Store East Java Branch. The subject of the study was an employee of the East Java Branch of the Aromatique Art Lab Store. The employee sample consisted of 44 employees. The sampling technique is non probability sampling. The study used the Smart-PLS method. The results show that: (1) Recruitment does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance. (2) Selection does not significantly affect Employee Performance. (3) Training has a significant effect on Employee Performance. (4) Recruitment does not significantly affect the Competency to the extent. (5) Selection does not significantly affect the Competence. (6) Training has a significant effect on competence. (7) Competency has a significant effect on Employee Performance. (8) Recruitment has no significant effect on Competency-mediated Employee Performance. (9) Selection has no significant effect on Competency-mediated Employee Performance. (10) Training does not significantly affect Competency-mediated Employee Performance. The benefits of research are as material for taking company policies in encouraging employee performance and as a reference for further researchers. The next suggestion of researchers is that they are expected to look at other variables outside the variables used in this study in order to get maximum results.

Taxes are a very important source for a sector of state revenue. To further increase revenue in the tax sector, several improvements have been made. In this research, the researcher tries to discuss the above problems related to "The Influence of Sales Tax VAT and PPnBM on Commercial Profits and Fiscal Profits of UD Gemah Ripah". The research model used in this research is associative research, namely to look at the influence of Fiscal Profit on VAT and PPnBM. This research was carried out at UD Gemah Ripah which is located on Jl. Padang Padi No.13, Kaliombo, Kec. Kota, Kediri City, East Java 64126. After conducting tests and calculations, it was found that UD Gemah Ripah's income tax in 2020 was IDR. 484,044,806.88, in 2021 it is IDR. 1,005,309,943.19, and in 2022 it will be IDR. 563,112,212.29. According to the data obtained, it was also found that PPn and PPnBM were not included in the requirements for calculating corporate PPh from UD Gemah Ripah, corporate PPh from UD Gemah Ripah only calculated from turnover and net profit before PPh. And also from several of these calculations, it was found that the PPn and PPnBM that must be paid are not necessarily directly proportional to the net profit of UD Gemah Ripah.
