Indonesian as a national language seeks to be internationalized through the teaching of BIPA, which requires subject matter that includes linguistic and cultural elements. Teaching often focuses on vocabulary and grammar, neglecting the important cultural context. Javanese culture, particularly the performing art of Reog Ponorogo, can be used as an effective medium of communication and teaching. Through this approach, BIPA teaching can be integrated with immersive cultural experiences, enhancing the understanding of Indonesian language and culture among foreign speakers. In this study, we aim to develop BIPA teaching materials by using local culture such as Reog Ponorogo. In qualitative research, the results emphasize meaning rather than generalization, data collection methods are triangulated, and data analysis is done inductively. The data used were sourced from various books, scientific journals, and the results of a survey of the needs of BIPA teaching materials for foreign speakers at Yale University. The integration of culture in teaching materials, such as the traditional art of Reog Ponorogo, not only enriches the learning experience, but also helps learners understand the social context and values underlying language use. Reog Ponorogo, with its deep symbolism and philosophy, provides an opportunity for learners to not only acquire language proficiency, but also develop Indonesian cultural values and character.

This study examines the adaptation of Islamic education curriculum in madrasahs in facing the challenges of modern development. The main focus is on the limitations that hinder the implementation of relevant curriculum, including resource limitations and integration between religious knowledge and science. This study is categorized as qualitative, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. Literature research or also called library research is a type of research that limits activities only to library collection materials and document studies without requiring field data (field research). Through a qualitative approach, this study suggests the need for curriculum updates involving digital technology, improving teacher competency, and collaborating with industry. This study also highlights the importance of developing digital literacy skills and critical thinking to prepare students for the global workforce. This study found that the main challenges in adapting Islamic education curriculum in madrasahs do not guarantee the absence of human resources, limited facilities, and resistance to change. The importance of technology integration, strengthening teacher competency, and collaboration between madrasahs, families, and communities are also revealed as factors that can increase the effectiveness of the curriculum. In addition, a curriculum is needed that supports 21st century skills to face the development of the times.

This research aims to explore people's preferences in choosing between conventional and Islamic banks, focusing on the factors that influence customer decisions. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting primary data through Google Form questionnaires and secondary data through literature studies. The results show that although 80% of respondents understand the differences between conventional and Islamic banks, 83% still choose conventional banks. The main reasons include ease of infrastructure access, wider ATM availability, and integration with educational institutions and workplaces. Interestingly, 63% of respondents cite religion as a key consideration, and 70% consider the usury aspect of bank selection.Islamic banks are considered to have the advantage of applying the principles of fairness, transparency, and avoiding usury. However, obstacles such as limited ATM networks and lack of cooperation with companies are the main challenges in attracting customers. The study suggests Islamic banks to expand their networks, improve public education, and develop more innovative financial products that still comply with sharia principles.

The demand for real-time performance monitoring in the Industry 5.0 era encourages organizations to adopt integrated approaches to management control systems. This study aims to develop and validate a Balanced Scorecard (BSC)-based performance evaluation model integrated with computerized accounting systems to enhance managerial decision-making quality. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, following systematic stages of model development including needs analysis, system design, prototype construction, and expert validation. Primary data were obtained from three management accounting experts and two information system practitioners who evaluated the model using five key criteria: accuracy of key performance indicators (KPI), ease of use, indicator relevance, data visualization quality, and implementation feasibility. The findings reveal that all criteria achieved average scores above 4.0 on a five-point scale, indicating a high level of expert consensus and confirming the model’s conceptual validity. The highest scores were recorded for KPI accuracy (4.5) and implementation feasibility (4.4), demonstrating the model’s potential for real-world application. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of BSC metrics with real-time accounting data processing through the R&D approach, resulting in a systematic framework for performance monitoring. Future research is recommended to enhance dashboard interactivity and conduct field implementation testing to measure the model’s impact on decision-making quality.

Industrial policy in Indonesia faces significant challenges in an era of increasingly complex globalization. Globalization brings great opportunities for domestic companies to compete globally, but also poses risks such as economic inequality and unemployment. To address these challenges, the government needs to develop a smart industrial policy that not only encourages sectoral growth but also stimulates cross-sectoral innovation. Selecting imported goods, imposing high import fees on commodities that can already be produced domestically, and providing capital injections to companies with comparative advantages are effective ways to protect local industries from the negative impacts of globalization. Digitalization must also go hand in hand with the implementation of this strategy so that sectors can use digital technology to increase productivity and create new economic opportunities, especially for micro, small, and start-up businesses. Furthermore, Indonesia's economic strength in navigating the problems of globalization may lie in its integration with the creative economy. Indonesia's industrial economy requires creative and innovative human resources so that the creative sector can develop and compete on a global scale.

It also underscores the role of technology, such as digital platforms and simulations, in enhancing learners’ ability to navigate real-life communication scenarios. The findings reveal significant challenges, including cultural variability in pragmatic norms, difficulties in standardizing assessments, and the influence of learners’ individual differences. The study calls for innovative teaching and evaluation methods, focusing on personalized approaches and the integration of pragmatic learning with emotional intelligence. By synthesizing current research and practices, this article provides valuable insights for educators, curriculum developers, and researchers, advocating for adaptive, culturally informed, and technology-supported strategies to enhance pragmatic competence in SLA.
