Reading ability is a fundamental skill that must be mastered by first-grade elementary school students as a foundation for understanding various subjects. However, in practice, many students still experience difficulties in early reading, such as recognizing letters, combining syllables, and understanding simple words. One alternative method that can be used to address this issue is the storytelling method in learning activities. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the storytelling method in improving the reading ability of first-grade elementary school students. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were collected from various sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant previous studies published within the last five years. Nutritional problems among children under five, particularly stunting, remain a significant public health challenge associated with inadequate nutrient intake and unfavorable eating behaviors such as picky eating, poor appetite, and feeding difficulties. These conditions may lead to imbalanced macronutrient and micronutrient intake, which adversely affects child growth and development. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve parental knowledge and skills in fulfilling child nutritional requirements through education and training on innovative food processing based on local ingredients, namely mandu formulated with anchovy (Stolephorus spp.) and yardlong bean (Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis). The methods included educational sessions, hands-on training, mentoring, and evaluation using a structured questionnaire. The evaluation involved 18 participants, where 83.3% achieved an excellent category and 16.7% a good category. The practice-based educational approach combined with the utilization of locally available nutrient-dense ingredients was effective in enhancing community capacity and shows potential as a preventive strategy to reduce the risk of stunting at the household level.

The issue of education financing in Indonesia, particularly in Islamic educational institutions, remains a challenge even though the national education budget has reached 20%. High operational costs, uneven budget distribution, and limited resources are obstacles to improving the quality of education and empowering the Islamic community. In this case, productive waqf presents itself as a sharia economic instrument that has the potential to support sustainable education financing and community development. This study aims to analyze the management strategy of productive waqf in empowering the Islamic community at the Lampung Al-Qur'an Center (LAC) and review it from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh muamalah) and waqf management. The study used a field method with a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observation, and documentation. The theories used are George R. Terry's management theory and Jim Ife's community empowerment theory. The results show that the productive waqf management strategy at LAC is carried out through waqf fund collection, management of Al-Qur'an education, socio-religious development, and community empowerment programs based on Islamic education. This management contributes to improving the quality of education, strengthening Islamic values, and social and economic empowerment of the community. From a muamalah jurisprudence perspective, the practice of productive waqf in LAC has a strong sharia basis because it is oriented towards the welfare of the community and the sustainability of the waqf's benefits. Thus, productive waqf in LAC can be an alternative for financing Islamic education and sustainable community empowerment.

This research focuses on the creation and implementation of a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the position of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The rationale behind this research is rooted in the rapid economic and demographic development in the area, which requires easy access to financial services. However, the distribution of existing ATM points is still uneven, where people in rural areas often have to travel long distances to reach the nearest ATM. The method of creating this system involves the use of the PHP programming language along with a MySQL database. This system aims to present spatial information about the current ATM location accurately, thereby helping the public in finding banking services with high accuracy through an interactive map interface. In addition, this system offers optimal paths to ATM locations to improve user time efficiency. System evaluation was conducted using black box techniques to verify that the menu operations and application procedures function as intended. The findings indicate that the implementation of GIS improves public access while offering data assistance for financial institutions and local governments in developing a more equitable and systematic public facility allocation strategy in the future.

The number of cases of sexual violence against children in Indonesia remains alarming, particularly among elementary school-aged children. One factor contributing to children's high vulnerability is a lack of understanding of body boundaries and self-protection. Furthermore, education about the body and self-protection is often considered taboo, resulting in inadequate communication with children. This article discusses the application of a positive narrative approach in writing an educational animation script entitled "Aku Jaga Tubuhku" (I Take Care of My Body) as a self-protection literacy medium for children aged 6–9 years. The research used a descriptive method, outlining the script design process through pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The positive narrative approach was implemented through the development of story, dialogue, characters, and conflict that emphasize child empowerment without creating excessive fear. The results indicate that this approach can help children understand the concepts of body boundaries, safe touch, and unsafe touch in a more concrete and emotionally secure manner. The integration of song elements as memory aids also strengthens children's understanding and retention of the message. Thus, writing an animation script based on a positive narrative can be an effective educational communication strategy for conveying self-protection literacy to elementary school-aged children.

Education is a crucial aspect for individuals; however, in reality, many students face learning obstacles such as low motivation and academic procrastination, which can hinder their psychological development. This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of various Guidance and Counseling (GC) services in addressing students’ learning problems and to identify the most prevalent and efficient strategies. The research method used was a literature review of 20 scientific articles from accredited journals and academic books published over the past ten years. Data analysis was conducted thematically to map patterns and trends in the effectiveness of interventions. The results indicate that GC services significantly contribute to addressing learning difficulties through four primary models: group counseling, individual counseling, classroom guidance, and comprehensive services. Group counseling was found to be the most widely used and effective service in enhancing students’ learning motivation and social interaction through group dynamics. Meanwhile, individual counseling proved effective for addressing personal and specific issues such as truancy and procrastination. Although effective, the implementation of guidance and counseling services still faces challenges in the form of a limited number of counselors and suboptimal time management. The implications of this study emphasize the need to optimize group services as a primary strategy, as well as increased support from schools and parents to create preventive and comprehensive interventions.
