Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils derived from natural materials to improve physical and psychological well-being. One of the most popular aromatherapy products is the aromatherapy candle, which provides relaxation while creating a comfortable atmosphere. This study aimed to develop aromatherapy candles based on agarwood (Aquilaria malaccensis) leaf extract, evaluate product quality, analyze public acceptance, and identify their potential as an entrepreneurial opportunity. This study employed an experimental method with a descriptive approach. The research stages included the extraction of agarwood leaves through a distillation process, the formulation of aromatherapy candles, product validation by three experts using sensory evaluation, and a public acceptance test involving 40 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results showed that the third experiment produced the best extract characteristics, including a golden-yellow color, a stronger distinctive agarwood aroma, and an oily texture. The public acceptance test indicated that the average scores for color, texture, ease of use, and aroma were 3.16, 2.90, 3.42, and 3.02, respectively, which were categorized as good to very good. These findings demonstrate that agarwood leaf extract has the potential to be used as an alternative ingredient in the production of aromatherapy candles, in addition to receiving a high level of public acceptance, the product possesses economic value and can be developed as an innovative product and entrepreneurial opportunity in the beauty, spa, wellness, and creative industries.

This research is motivated by the development of injection motorcycle engine management system technology that demands increased performance through optimization of the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). This study aims to analyze the performance comparison of the Yamaha MX King 180 cc using a standard ECU and a racing ECU on engine power and torque. The method used is an experiment with engine dynotest testing in the range of 6000-10000 RPM. The research sample is a 2015 Yamaha MX King unit that has been modified to 180 cc. Data were collected through direct measurements of power (HP) and torque (Nm), then analyzed descriptively in the form of tables and graphs. The results show that the racing ECU is able to produce a higher maximum power of 24.9 HP at 10000 RPM compared to the standard ECU of 22.2 HP at the same engine speed. In terms of torque, both types of ECU reach peak values at 8000 RPM with a relatively small difference (18.18 Nm on the standard ECU and 18.15 Nm on the racing ECU). However, at low to mid-range revs, the racing ECU tends to produce slightly more torque, although at very high revs, it experiences a greater decrease compared to the standard ECU. The racing ECU excels at increasing high-rev power, while the standard ECU exhibits more consistent torque stability. Therefore, the choice of ECU type must be tailored to the performance requirements and the characteristics of the vehicle's use.

This study analyzes how digital interface design (UI/UX) and system architecture are manipulated to unethically extract user consent, resulting in personal data commercialization and massive online loan (pinjol) spam marketing. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this research combines descriptive quantitative analysis of digital user perception surveys with qualitative observations involving UI teardowns, privacy policy evaluations, and extensive literature reviews. Initial findings indicate a profound crisis of genuine informed consent, exacerbated by the deployment of dark patterns such as pre-ticked checkboxes, disguised opt-out architectures, and information overload engineered into legal documents. This systematic manipulation facilitates unauthorized personal data distribution to third parties under the guise of legitimate agreement, directly triggering privacy intrusions and psychological distress, including severe anxiety among data subjects. Philosophically and morally, these practices constitute a severe breach of Information Technology Professional Ethics (EPTI). Consequently, this study highlights the urgent need for developer accountability and advocates for the implementation of proactive, transparent ethical design frameworks compliant with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) standards to reclaim digital autonomy.

Birth certificate ownership is a fundamental right of every citizen and an essential requirement for accessing various public services. However, the coverage of birth certificate ownership in North Central Timor Regency has not yet reached the national target. To address this issue, the Department of Population and Civil Registration of North Central Timor Regency implemented the Mobile Service Program (Jemput Bola) as an initiative to bring civil registration services closer to the community. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Mobile Service Program in increasing birth certificate ownership in North Central Timor Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The analysis of program effectiveness was based on Richard M. Steers’ goal approach and strategic constituencies approach. The findings indicate that the Mobile Service Program is effective in expanding service accessibility, increasing the number of birth certificates issued, and facilitating public access to civil registration documents. The program also received positive responses from the community because it reduced barriers related to cost, time, and distance in obtaining birth certificates. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including low public awareness, incomplete administrative requirements, limited internet connectivity, and geographical constraints. Therefore, strengthening public outreach, improving coordination with village governments, and establishing measurable program targets are necessary to enhance the program’s effectiveness in a sustainable manner.

The fast fashion industry has actually become the second largest contributor to textile waste in the world due to rapid production cycles, high consumer demand, and the use of synthetic materials that are difficult to biodegrade. This phenomenon causes serious environmental impacts such as water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, accumulation of solid waste, and microplastic pollution that threatens marine ecosystems. In Indonesia, although environmental regulations such as Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management and Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management exist, the implementation of fast fashion waste management still faces various obstacles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of waste management regulations in the fast fashion industry in Indonesia and to examine why the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mechanism is necessary as a legal instrument for textile waste management. The method used is normative juridical with an ecological approach, utilizing primary and secondary legal materials, as well as qualitative-descriptive and comparative analysis with France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The findings reveal four main legal gaps: the absence of a definition for post-consumer textile waste, the lack of a binding take-back mechanism for producers, weak fiscal instruments supporting EPR, and the absence of ecodesign obligations. The implication of this study highlights the need for regulatory reconstruction that specifically addresses the responsibility of fast fashion producers throughout the product life cycle to achieve more effective and sustainable waste management.

Background: Cesarean section (CS) is a mode of delivery frequently used in women with high-risk pregnancies. Over the past two decades, the rate of CS has increased significantly worldwide. Although CS can be a life-saving intervention when performed based on appropriate medical indications, it may also result in adverse outcomes for both mothers and infants and increase the clinical and economic burden on healthcare systems. Limiting CS rates can be achieved through the control of modifiable risk factors. Purpose: This study aimed to describe the factors contributing to the occurrence of cesarean section. Method: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design and was conducted at Singasana Regional General Hospital, Tabanan Regency, from February to May 2025. The study sample consisted of 259 women who underwent cesarean delivery during the period 2020–2024. Data were collected through a review of medical records using a checklist instrument. Univariate analysis was performed to describe maternal characteristics and indications for cesarean section. Result: Most cesarean deliveries occurred in women aged 20–35 years (77.99%) and in multiparous women (48.65%). The most dominant maternal factor was a previous cesarean section (37.6%), while the most common fetal factor was fetal distress (42.7%). Conclusion: Maternal age of 20–35 years, multiparity, a history of previous cesarean section, and fetal distress were the dominant factors associated with cesarean delivery. These findings highlight the importance of early antenatal risk screening and optimal labor management to reduce unnecessary cesarean sections and improve maternal and neonatal safety.

In the post-pandemic period, the learning process at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level continues to face significant challenges, particularly the emergence of disparities in student learning outcomes in general subjects. Many students have not yet fully returned to an active and focused learning pattern, resulting in uneven learning outcomes. Under these circumstances, self-directed learning has become an increasingly prominent aspect, as it relates to students’ ability to manage their own learning process without relying too heavily on teacher guidance. This study aims to examine how learning autonomy influences MTs students’ learning outcomes by reviewing existing studies. The research employs a literature review method using a qualitative descriptive approach, drawing on scientific sources from the past five years. The data were analyzed through content analysis to identify patterns of relationships emerging from previous studies. The results of the study indicate that learning autonomy tends to have a positive correlation with improved learning outcomes, although the magnitude of the effect is not always consistent across every study. Students who are better able to manage their own learning steps generally appear more active, more focused in their studies, and more aware of the processes they are undergoing. Nevertheless, the development of learning autonomy does not occur in isolation, as it remains influenced by the school’s learning environment and the way teachers manage instruction. Thus, it is clear that fostering independent learning is a key factor in efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the post-pandemic era.

Within the framework of Islamic family law (fiqh munakahat), the issue of nusyuz plays a significant role, as it is closely related to maintaining harmony and stability in the marital relationship. Generally, nusyuz is often defined as a form of a wife’s disobedience toward her husband. However, Islamic jurisprudence acknowledges that nusyuz can also be committed by a husband if he fails to fulfill the rights, responsibilities, and obligations he owes to his wife, in accordance with the principles of Sharia. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the concept of nusyuz in the context of family life, from the perspective of fiqh munakahat. The discussion covers the meaning and characteristics of nusyuz, its legal basis in Islamic sources, the factors contributing to its emergence, its various manifestations in married life, its implications for family relationships, and existing methods for addressing this issue. This study employs a literature review method supported by a descriptive qualitative approach, drawing on relevant literature from classical and contemporary Islamic legal sources. The results indicate that resolving issues of nusyuz should be approached through a gradual and constructive process, including counseling, dialogue, mediation, consultation, and reconciliation. These steps aim to restore mutual understanding and strengthen family unity. Therefore, raising awareness of each spouse’s rights and obligations is crucial to preventing nusyuz and creating a household filled with peace, love, mutual respect, and intimacy.

This study is motivated by the rapid proliferation of hadith dissemination in the digital era, which has Living hadith in a socio-cultural context is a contemporary approach in hadith studies that emphasizes how the traditions of Prophet Muhammad SAW are practiced, internalized, and brought to life within society. This study does not only focus on textual aspects such as sanad (chain of transmission) and matn (text), but also on its practical manifestations in the form of traditions, rituals, and local culture. This paper aims to analyze the epistemology of living hadith, examine the theoretical frameworks utilized, and observe its relevance in modern society, particularly within Muslim communities. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach based on a literature review. The findings indicate that living hadith serves as a bridge between normative texts and dynamic empirical reality. In practice, living hadith manifests in oral traditions such as lectures and religious advice, written traditions like hadith calligraphy, and practical traditions like tahlilan and grave visitation (ziarah kubur). Thus, living hadith allows Islamic teachings to remain contextual, adaptive, and relevant in facing modern socio-cultural transformations.
