The improvement of village road infrastructure plays an important role in enhancing community mobility and supporting local socioeconomic development. This study aims to analyze changes in mobility conditions before and after road improvement, explore community perceptions and experiences, identify changes in activity and economic patterns, and examine factors that support or hinder mobility optimization in Trayeman Village, Slawi District, Tegal Regency. A mixed-method approach was employed involving 98 respondents selected from a population of 5,229 residents using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error, along with 15 key informants for qualitative data collection. Data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and Likert-scale questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were examined using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The findings indicate that road improvement has significantly enhanced community mobility, with an overall mean score of 3.89, categorized as high. Access to services recorded the highest score (4.06), followed by economic mobility (4.00) and social mobility (3.99). Community perceptions were largely positive, viewing the improved road as a catalyst for development and improved accessibility. Road improvement also encouraged broader economic opportunities, lower transportation costs, business growth, and increased income. Supporting factors included private vehicle ownership and supportive village policies, whereas high fuel prices, limited transportation options, and uneven local road conditions remained major challenges. Further improvements in supporting infrastructure and transportation services are recommended to maximize mobility benefits.

Rapid population growth in Sidoarjo Regency has triggered massive land-use changes, resulting in increased surface runoff and reduced performance of the drainage system. This study aims to evaluate the hydraulic capacity of drainage channels in the Pondok Sidokare Indah Housing area against design flood discharges with return periods of 2, 5, and 10 years. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach, involving hydrological analysis using maximum daily rainfall data from 2015–2025 and hydraulic modeling of the existing channel along 350 meters. The frequency analysis results indicate that the Log Pearson Type III distribution is the most suitable method based on statistical parameters and the Smirnov-Kolmogorov goodness-of-fit test. The calculation of design flood discharge using the rational method yields values of 0.749 m³/s (2-year), 1.003 m³/s (5-year), and 1.164 m³/s (10-year). Meanwhile, the maximum capacity of the existing channel ranges only between 0.534 m³/s and 0.733 m³/s. The comparison between hydrological load and channel capacity shows that all observation points (Sta 0+000 to Sta 0+350) are in overflow condition, even for the lowest return period flood discharge. This condition confirms that the current channel dimensions are no longer adequate and require normalization to mitigate annual flooding in the area.

Education in vocational high schools (SMKs) requires effective data management to improve students’ academic achievement and discipline. At SMK Islam Secang, students’ academic scores and attendance data have so far functioned merely as administrative archives, making it difficult to identify patterns of student performance. This study aims to classify students based on academic achievement and discipline by applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm using RapidMiner. The data used in this study consist of scores from six subjects and attendance records of 35 students from the Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) department over two semesters. The data were obtained from original school records, compiled using Microsoft Excel, and processed in RapidMiner. The clustering process employed four clusters for academic achievement and two clusters for discipline, with Euclidean Distance used as the similarity measure. The results show that in the first semester, students were grouped into four academic achievement clusters: high achievement (6 students), moderate achievement (7 students), potentially problematic (14 students), and problematic (8 students). In the second semester, the distribution changed to high achievement (19 students), moderate achievement (14 students), potentially problematic (4 students), and problematic (1 student). Meanwhile, student discipline was divided into two clusters: disciplined (31 students) and undisciplined (4 students). These results demonstrate that K-Means Clustering is effective in mapping student conditions, revealing patterns in academic performance and attendance, and supporting educational evaluation, learning planning, and early detection of students who require academic or disciplinary intervention. Keywords: Data Mining, K-Means Clustering, Academic Achievement, Discipline, RapidMiner, Vocational High School (SMK)

Indonesia, as a country located at the intersection of three tectonic plates, is highly vulnerable to earthquakes. This has led to the development of various innovations in earthquake-resistant housing. An interesting phenomenon can be found in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi, where several vernacular houses of the Kaili people constructed with a hybrid design (wooden frame and mud walls) have proven to withstand the major earthquake that struck Palu, Central Sulawesi, in 2018. This study aims to examine the architectural typology of non-engineered hybrid houses within the Kaili community using a qualitative descriptive approach and typological analysis. Data collection involved direct observation, interviews, and literature reviews, with a focus on the spatial and physical systems of the buildings. The sample for the study was determined through purposive sampling with specific criteria. Data analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that, despite changes in materials due to adaptations to technological advancements and reconstruction policies, the spatial layout and fundamental structure of the houses have maintained traditional philosophies. These houses demonstrate the integration of cultural values, local knowledge about seismic activity, and the use of local materials, which allow for both structural flexibility and some rigidity, contributing to the buildings’ resilience. These findings highlight the importance of combining technical and cultural approaches in designing earthquake-resistant houses within a local context.

The concept of the natural look in facial makeup has continued to develop along with changes in beauty trends that emphasize a simple, clean, and natural appearance. The natural look is not only understood as a makeup technique involving minimal cosmetic use, but also as a representation of modern beauty perceptions that highlight authenticity and self-confidence. This article aims to examine the concept of the natural look in facial makeup through a literature review of various relevant previous studies. The method used is a literature study by analyzing scientific journals and books discussing natural makeup techniques and beauty perceptions. The results indicate that the natural look is achieved through the use of neutral colors, light application techniques, adjustment to individual facial characteristics, and the selection of cosmetics that support a natural appearance. In addition, beauty perceptions of the natural look tend to emphasize simplicity, cleanliness, and an authentic impression. Therefore, the natural look can be understood as a combination of technical approaches in makeup and social constructions of the meaning of beauty in society.

Postpartum depression is a postpartum mental health disorder that significantly impacts maternal well-being, infant development, and family functioning. The high prevalence of postpartum depression in Indonesia is due to limited access to health services, low mental health literacy, and social stigma in the community. This indicates a significant gap between the need for maternal mental health services and the availability of existing interventions, making education a crucial component in efforts to prevent postpartum depression early. This study aims to analyze the prevention of postpartum depression in postpartum mothers through telenursing-based education and screening using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) in the community. A descriptive case study design was used, involving one respondent, a 25-year-old primigravida mother residing in the Bantul area. The intervention was implemented online via WhatsApp and video calls, including structured health education on postpartum psychological changes, adaptive coping strategies, and the importance of social support. The intervention also included daily remote monitoring of the respondent's condition via the WhatsApp mobile application. The EPDS was administered as a pre-test and post-test to evaluate changes in the respondent's psychological condition. The findings showed a significant decrease in the EPDS score from 16 (moderate depression) to 6 (minimal depression), indicating significant psychological improvement. These results imply that integrating EPDS screening, structured health education, and daily monitoring is an effective and accessible community-based approach to preventing postpartum depression, particularly for mothers with limited mobility and access to health services.

The growth of information technology has driven changes in consumer behavior, one of which is through e-commerce platforms such as Shopee. This phenomenon has generated a large number of customer reviews, including those for local cosmetic products such as Wardah. These reviews serve as an important source of information for understanding customer perceptions and satisfaction levels. However, manual analysis of large and linguistically diverse datasets is inefficient and potentially subjective. This study aims to implement the multi-category Naive Bayes algorithm to classify the sentiment of Wardah product reviews on Shopee into three categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The data were collected using a web scraping technique and processed through a series of preprocessing stages including case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and text cleaning. Subsequently, term weighting was performed using the TF-IDF method prior to classification. Model performance was evaluated using a confusion matrix as well as accuracy, precision, and recall metrics. The results indicate that the multi-category Naive Bayes algorithm achieved an accuracy of 86.00%, a precision of 86.63%, and a recall of 98.24%. This approach can assist business practitioners in objectively understanding customer opinions and support decision-making in business strategy and product development.

This study examines land-use transformation in Hamadi Rawa I, Jayapura City, focusing on the shift from water catchment to built-up land during 2015–2025. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining analysis of Google Earth imagery with interviews with community, government, and academic stakeholders. Findings show the catchment area shrank by 48% (from 17% to 8% of the total area), decreasing from 21.36 ha to 11.20 ha. The built-up area increased by 28.1%, from 70.78 ha to 90.67 ha, with residential development driving most of this growth (51.1%). Three spatial transformation patterns emerged: ecological fragmentation, linear service sector development, and concentric settlement patterns. Idle land was also identified as a phenomenon that damages ecological functions without providing a productive benefit. The conversion was driven by physical-natural factors (basin topography), economic factors (market proximity), socio-demographic factors (urbanization), and especially institutional factors. Customary land transactions outside state control created a governance dilemma between humanity and public order. The study recommends a proactive-collaborative approach with three key instruments: (1) Zero-Reclamation with Adaptive Permitting for stilt structures; (2) fiscal intervention using Idle Land Tax and Payment for Ecosystem Services; and (3) a Participatory Spatial Control Task Force integrating government and customary authorities (Ondoafi).

Early detection of a potential heart attack is a crucial step in preventing sudden death from heart disease. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based health monitoring system capable of measuring vital body data in real time and predicting the likelihood of a heart attack from CSV data obtained from sensors, integrated through RapidMiner as learning data using a machine learning algorithm, the Support Vector Machine (SVM). The system was built using an ESP32 microcontroller connected to a MAX30102 sensor to measure heart rate and finger oxygen levels (SpO₂), as well as a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity. The resulting data is sent to the Blynk application to display real-time data according to its parameters. The initial prediction logic was developed using a rule-based method based on medical thresholds for four vital parameters. The data was then used to train an SVM model as a classification system to detect potential heart attacks. Test results showed that the system can identify abnormal conditions with a good level of accuracy and provide early warnings based on changes in vital parameters in real time. This system is expected to be an initial solution for personal health monitoring, especially for individuals at risk of heart disease. It can be further developed with cloud integration and automatic notifications to users' devices.

Introduction: Ramadan fasting is a religious practice observed by Muslims by abstaining from food and drink from dawn until sunset. These changes may increase the need for oral and dental healthcare. However, some Muslims still perceive that undergoing dental treatment while fasting may invalidate the fast, leading many patients to delay or avoid dental visits during Ramadan. Objective: This study aims to review and analyse various scientific literature regarding the safety and permissibility of dental procedures for patients who are observing fasting during Ramadan. Methods: This study used a narrative review method by searching scientific articles through PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases using keywords relevant to the research topic. Articles were selected based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The review findings indicate that most dental procedures, such as local anaesthesia administration, scaling, restorative treatment, and tooth extraction, generally do not invalidate fasting as long as no material or fluid is intentionally swallowed. The use of suction devices, isolation of the treatment area, and proper scheduling of dental procedures are important factors in minimizing the risk of swallowing fluids during treatment. Conclusion: Most dental procedures can be safely performed on fasting patients while still considering both medical aspects and Islamic principles. Patient education regarding the safety of dental procedures during fasting should be improved to prevent delays in treatment and complications in oral health.
