The rapid development of the digital ecosystem has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ambon City to adopt online platform-based marketing strategies in response to changing consumer behavior that is increasingly digitally connected. This research focuses on MSME consumers in Ambon City who actively interact with local business products through digital platforms. The main problems identified include low digital marketing adoption by local MSME actors, limited empirical studies on Eastern Indonesia context, and the absence of an integrative analytical model that simultaneously tests three dimensions of digital marketing. This research aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing strategies encompassing social media marketing, paid digital advertising, and content marketing on consumer purchasing decisions of MSMEs in Ambon City. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey design involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis after passing classical assumption tests covering normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Results show that social media marketing has a significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.387, paid digital advertising with a coefficient of 0.312, and content marketing with a coefficient of 0.274, all significant at the 0.05 level. Simultaneously, the three variables explain 67.1% of variation in consumer purchasing decisions with an F-count of 65.847. Social media marketing is proven as the most dominant dimension shaping consumer purchasing decisions of MSMEs in Ambon City. This research concludes that an integrated and contextual digital marketing strategy is a crucial instrument in driving MSME growth in Eastern Indonesia and recommends strengthening digital capacity of local business actors as a priority policy for regional MSME empowerment. Keywords: digital marketing; purchasing decision; MSMEs; social media; Ambon City

The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in meeting food needs while maintaining environmental sustainability and community welfare. However, conventional farming practices that rely on chemical inputs have caused various problems, such as soil degradation, loss of biodiversity, and environmental pollution. This condition has encouraged the adoption of the Sustainable Agriculture concept, which emphasizes a balance between ecological, economic, and social aspects. Its successful implementation is strongly influenced by farmers’ perceptions as the main actors. This study aims to analyze rice farmers’ perceptions of the implementation of Sustainable Agriculture in swampy areas of Tebas District, Sambas Regency. The research was conducted from October to November 2025 using a survey method involving 95 farmers selected through the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression. The results show that farmers’ perceptions are generally positive, particularly regarding water management, variety selection, and cropping patterns. However, the use of organic fertilizers, environmentally friendly pest control, and post-harvest management are still considered difficult. Education level and non-farming occupations significantly influence farmers’ perceptions. Therefore, enhancing extension services, training, and support for business diversification is necessary to promote the adoption of Sustainable Agriculture.

This research aims to analyze the urgency of implementing Statement of Use, Declaration of Use, and Specimen of Use instruments as a means of supervising trademark use obligations in Indonesia. Currently, Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications (UU MIG) only requires a written statement of use without being accompanied by concrete evidence at the time of renewal applications. This creates a loophole for trademark registrations without the intent to use (non-use), which can hinder bona fide applicants.  This study employs a normative legal research method with a comparative law approach between the UU MIG and the Lanham Act (U.S. Trademark Act of 1946). The Lanham Act mandates proof of actual trademark use through a Statement of Use for intent-to-use applications, as well as a Declaration of Use for applications based on use-in-commerce, which must be submitted with a Specimen of Use as actual evidence of the trademark's use in trade.  The results indicate that the adoption of these instruments into the Indonesian legal system is urgent to strengthen the supervisory function of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP). This implementation would enable the DGIP to conduct administrative (ex-officio) trademark cancellations for non-use, thereby purging the trademark database of passive marks without having to rely on third-party lawsuits. This legal reform is in line with the legal development theory to encourage business actors to actively utilize the economic functions of trademarks.

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to product marketing and advertising patterns, particularly through social media platforms such as Instagram, which enable the rapid and wide dissemination of information. On the one hand, digitalization provides opportunities for business actors to promote their products in a more creative and interactive way. On the other hand, it also creates the potential for advertisements that may mislead consumers. In practice, there are still business actors who promote products that do not correspond to their actual conditions. Such misinformation can cause losses and raise issues related to consumer rights and the responsibilities of business actors. This study also analyzes dispute resolution related to misleading advertisements on social media. The method used is doctrinal legal research with a statutory approach (statute approach) and a case approach. The results of the study indicate that there are still advertising business actors who neglect consumers’ rights to truthful information about product conditions, and who fail to fulfill their obligations of good faith, providing accurate and honest information, and complying with standards stipulated in laws and regulations. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen supervision of the implementation of advertising ethics and enforce stricter law enforcement so that consumer rights can be protected and advertising practices on social media can be carried out responsibly.

The development of the cosmetics industry has had both positive and negative impacts on consumers, particularly in Medan City. The high demand for cosmetics has driven irresponsible business actors to produce and distribute cosmetics without distribution permits from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM). This study aims to analyze the role of BPOM in supervising illegal cosmetics, examine criminal sanction enforcement, and identify obstacles faced by PPNS investigators at BBPOM Medan. A qualitative empirical juridical approach with field research method was used, employing in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The primary informant is the Head of BBPOM Medan. Results show BPOM supervises through pre-market and post-market control, enforcement, and public education. Criminal sanctions under Article 435 of Law No. 17 of 2023 impose up to 12 years imprisonment or Rp5 billion fine. Key obstacles include limited investigator legal expertise, budget constraints, low public participation, fleeing suspects, and files returned by prosecutors. Strengthening investigator capacity, improving inter-agency coordination, and increasing public awareness are urgently needed.

This study aims to analyze the impact of inflation on the profitability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in traditional markets. Inflation influences key business aspects, including rising production costs, declining consumer purchasing power, and instability in input prices, all of which can disrupt business performance. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey data collected from MSME actors to assess these effects. The findings reveal that inflation has a significant negative impact on MSME profitability, particularly through the reduction of profit margins. This occurs as businesses face higher raw material costs while simultaneously experiencing a decline in sales volume due to weakened consumer demand. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to maintain financial stability and sustain their operations under inflationary pressure. These findings highlight the need for adaptive strategies among MSMEs, such as cost efficiency and pricing adjustments. Additionally, the study offers important policy implications for the government to support MSMEs through targeted interventions, including price stabilization measures and financial assistance programs, in order to maintain business resilience and economic sustainability.

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in preparing financial statements based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) through the digitalization of financial recording in UMKM Pasadana. The main problems faced by the partners include low accounting literacy, unstructured and simple financial recording practices, and the limited utilization of digital technology in financial management. The implementation method adopts a participatory approach consisting of several stages, namely socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training focuses on understanding the basic concepts of SAK EMKM and the practical use of simple and applicable digital financial recording applications. Mentoring is conducted directly to ensure that MSME actors are able to implement financial recording independently and sustainably. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in conducting systematic financial recording in accordance with SAK EMKM principles. In addition, MSME actors begin to adopt digital technology in recording transactions, which improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of financial statements. This activity also encourages a shift in mindset, where financial recording is no longer viewed as merely administrative, but as a basis for business decision-making. Thus, this community service activity provides a practical contribution to improving the quality of MSME financial management through the integration of accounting literacy and sustainable digital technology utilization.

Business digitalization has become an integral part of the modern economic development in Indonesia, providing significant convenience for business actors while presenting legal risks that require clear legal protection and certainty. This research uses normative legal methods with legislative and conceptual approaches, and utilizes primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. The results of the study show that legal protection for business actors in digital-based business agreements is regulated in various regulations, including Article 1320 and Article 1338 of the Civil Code, the Consumer Protection Law, the Law on the Prohibition of Monopoly Practices, the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions and their amendments, Government Regulations on the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions, the Personal Data Protection Law, and the Trade Minister Regulation on Trade Through an electronic system. However, existing regulations still face challenges in the form of overlapping rules and have not fully answered new problems such as automated contracts, the use of artificial intelligence, and the dynamics of digital platforms. Therefore, adaptive regulatory reforms, strengthening the principle of fairness in digital contracts, increasing supervision of platform operators, and legal and digital literacy for business actors are needed. These efforts are expected to be able to protect business actors, especially MSMEs, from harmful standard clauses and ensure the timely and effective resolution of digital business disputes.

The principle of good faith constitutes a fundamental element within Indonesia’s trademark law system, particularly in processes ranging from trademark registration to the cancellation of registered marks. This study examines the role of the good faith principle as a primary legal foundation for trademark annulment, using the dispute over the Minyak Kutus Kutus trademark as a case study. The conflict emerged when the trademark was registered by an individual who was not the original creator, leading to legal disputes and judicial examination. This research adopts a normative juridical method by analyzing various legal sources, including statutory regulations, court decisions, and relevant legal doctrines. The findings indicate that the principle of good faith is not merely an ethical norm but also functions as an important legal instrument to protect the legitimate rights of original trademark owners from attempts of unlawful control through bad-faith registration. Furthermore, the court’s decision in the Kutus Kutus case demonstrates the crucial role of enforcing the good faith principle in maintaining legal certainty while ensuring protection for fair and honest business actors in Indonesia’s trademark system.

This study aims to describe the form of multi-stakeholder collaboration in the management of the Bojonegoro Geopark using the Pentahelix approach. This study employed a qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while informants were selected purposively to represent the government, academia, business actors, community groups, and media. The findings indicate that although the five helixes are involved, their roles have not yet been integrated into a systematic collaborative framework. The government contributes through infrastructure provision and regulatory support but lacks a coordinating institution dedicated to geopark management. Academics provide research input, yet it has not formed a comprehensive basis for geosite interpretation. Business actors grow predominantly in recreational destinations, while community groups play essential operational roles but with uneven capacities. The media participates in promoting activities, although it has not succeeded in building a consistent geopark identity. Overall, this study concludes that weak inter-helix integration remains the primary challenge in developing the Bojonegoro Geopark. Therefore, strengthening institutional coordination, improving community capacity, and establishing an integrated communication strategy are essential for achieving sustainable geopark governance.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Rengginang MSME registration on Google Maps as a strategy to strengthen the economy in Pahang Village, Babata Village. The background of the research shows that most MSMEs still rely on conventional marketing so that business visibility is relatively low. With a qualitative case study approach, this study explores the experience of the owner of Rengginang Azam MSMEs, Mrs. Siti, who registered her business location on Google Maps. The results of the study show that digitalization through Google Maps has a positive impact in the form of increasing accessibility and reach for customers, especially from outside the village. Location registration allows customers to find more complete information about products and locations, increasing the number of visits to the store. The real impact felt is an increase in sales and profits without additional promotional costs. This study concludes that the use of Google Maps as a digital promotional medium is an effective strategy in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era. In addition, this finding confirms the importance of digital literacy for MSME actors to utilize technology as a means of business development and strengthening the local economy.

Economic empowerment of rural communities through the strengthening of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial pillar in achieving national economic independence. One of the fundamental obstacles faced by MSMEs in rural areas is financial exclusion due to low digital literacy and dependence on conventional cash transaction systems. The Community Service Program (KKN) of students from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN SU) in Pematang Tengah Village was designed to bridge this gap by optimizing the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS). Through an intensive participatory mentoring approach, students acted as agents of digital transformation who educated, trained, and facilitated 10 local MSME actors in adopting non-cash payment technology. The results of the program show a significant shift from digital skepticism to digital trust. The implementation of QRIS has been proven to increase operational efficiency, financial management accuracy, and strengthen the image of business modernity in the eyes of consumers. This article emphasizes that the role of students is not merely as information deliverers, but as catalysts of social capital that is crucial for the sustainability of digitalization at the village level.

This research aims to describe the process of transforming Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) toward a digital economy through QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) training and the creation of creative banners as promotional media in Batu Karang Village, Karo Regency. Digital transformation has become an essential need for MSMEs to adapt to changes in consumer behavior and rapid technological development. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach focusing on training materials and the implementation process, without using quantitative data or interview results. The findings indicate that QRIS training provides MSME actors with conceptual and practical understanding of digital payment systems that are efficient, secure, and convenient. In addition, creative banner development functions as a visual promotional tool that strengthens business identity and enhances consumer attraction. The integration of QRIS with creative banners creates synergy between digital payment systems and promotional strategies that are relevant to the conditions of rural MSMEs. Overall, this research demonstrates that digital-based training combined with creative promotional media can serve as an effective strategy to enhance MSME readiness in facing the digital economy era in a sustainable manner.

The issuance of billboard installation permits is part of local government authority in regulating public space, maintaining public order, and ensuring legal certainty. This study examines the implementation of billboard permit administration under Serang City Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2021. It applies an empirical juridical method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with relevant local officials and a review of applicable laws and supporting legal materials. The findings indicate that the permit process involves several agencies: the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office as the licensing authority, the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office for technical recommendations, the Regional Revenue Agency for tax collection, and the Municipal Police for supervision and enforcement. Although the regulatory framework is comprehensive, challenges remain, including inter-agency coordination, tax compliance, supervision effectiveness, and limited legal awareness among business actors. The study concludes that effective permit administration depends not only on clear regulations but also on strong institutional coordination and proper implementation.
