The abstract on the purchasing intention of tourists for Guizhou's intangible cultural heritage batik products explores the interplay of cultural significance, consumer attitudes, and social influence. It highlights how the rich history and craftsmanship associated with batik create a strong emotional connection for tourists, enhancing their willingness to purchase these items as authentic souvenirs. Positive consumer attitudes, shaped by prior experiences and appreciation for cultural heritage, further contribute to purchase intentions. Additionally, social  influence plays  a  crucial  role, as  recommendations  from peers  and  social  media endorsements significantly impact tourists' perceptions and decisions. The study underscores the importance of effectively promoting these cultural products through storytelling, community engagement, and leveraging social proof to boost sales and preserve cultural traditions through the survey of 390 Guizhou residents.

In aviation, two important factors can affect passenger satisfaction: time efficiency in service, especially in the baggage claim process, and airline image. These two activities also apply to passengers at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the duration of baggage claim and airline image on passenger satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach to data collection. It distributes questionnaires to 105 Citilink Indonesia passengers and 105 Batik Air passengers who claim their baggage in the arrivals area. In addition, it uses baggage manifest data in the form of first baggage (fi-bag) and last baggage (la-bag) time data. The data is then analyzed using the t-test (partial test) and f-test (simultaneous test). The results of the study indicate that partially, the Baggage Claim Duration variable has a significant effect on the Passenger Satisfaction variable, both for Citilink Airlines (sig.=0.30) and Batik Air (sig.0.035). The results of the study indicate that partially, the Airline Image variable has a significant effect on the Passenger Satisfaction variable for both Citilink Airlines (sig.=0.000) and Batik Air (sig.=0.000). Furthermore, the Baggage Claim Duration and Airline Image variables simultaneously affect the Passenger Satisfaction variable, with a significance of 0.000 for both Citilink and Batik Air Airlines.

Batik Murni Madiun is a production place for batik motifs typical of Madiun City. However, the low brand awareness of the Batik Murni Madiun brand is a major challenge due to the lack of consistent visual identity. This design aims to redesign the visual identity that can increase brand awareness. This design uses qualitative and quantitative data collection methods with primary data coming from interviews, observations and questionnaires. Meanwhile, secondary data comes from books, journals, and articles. The data analysis technique used in this design is descriptive analysis and TOWS matrix. The data analysis process resulted in the keyword “Madiun Authentic Traditional Batik” which will be used as a reference in making the design concept. In addition, the results of the data analysis show the need for a visual identity that has the philosophy and image that Batik Murni Madiun wants to highlight, namely the authentic traditional batik motifs from Madiun City and the natural colors used for its batik products. Through this visual identity redesign, it is expected to increase brand awareness and build consumer confidence in Batik Murni Madiun through the image that will be shown.

The Ecological Literature Batik Making Project with PKK Women and the Batik Workshop Community of Sawojajar Village, Malang City is a community service activity carried out in the framework of the PPG Teacher Candidate Leadership Project Wave 2 Year 2024. This program aims to integrate the art of batik with the concept of ecological literature, as well as introduce natural dyeing methods as an environmentally friendly alternative in batik production. This activity began with an observation that found that the use of synthetic dyes in the batik industry in Malang City is still dominant, thus potentially polluting the environment. In addition, the involvement of PKK mothers in productive activities oriented towards economic sustainability and environmental conservation is still limited. The implementation of this project was conducted through a series of trainings and workshops that included an introduction to hand-drawn batik techniques as a cultural heritage, an understanding of ecological literature in batik motifs, and the practice of making natural dyes using indigofera. Participants were also trained to apply the concept of ecological literature in batik designs made in various products, such as totebags, cushions and tablecloths. The results of this activity show that the active participation of the community in batik training with natural dyes can increase awareness of more environmentally friendly textile production practices. It is hoped that this project can become a sustainable movement in the use of natural dyes in the batik community in Malang City and open up new economic opportunities for the community, especially PKK mothers. In addition, through the introduction of ecological literature in batik motifs, this activity also contributes to educating the public about the relationship between humans and the environment through textile art.

The creation of batik outerwear combines three techniques: hand-drawn batik (batik tulis), shibori, and ecoprint, to produce designs that are both functional and aesthetically rich, while promoting local cultural identity. The process follows the Art Creation Methodology, consisting of four stages: exploration, experimentation, realization, and evaluation. In the exploration phase, the techniques used are studied, and how their combination can create unique motifs. This phase also includes an in-depth understanding of the history and philosophy of each technique, ensuring a strong foundation for their application in the design of the outerwear. In the experimentation phase, various patterns, colors, and compositions are tested to determine the best combination of the three techniques. This stage involves creating several design samples to test the harmony between hand-drawn batik, the visually appealing folds of shibori, and the natural impressions left by ecoprint leaves. Then, in the realization stage, the batik outerwear is completed by integrating these elements into a cohesive design. The techniques of batik tulis, shibori, and ecoprint work together to create rich textures and motifs. In the evaluation phase, the aesthetic and functional quality of the final product is assessed. The final result demonstrates that combining these techniques not only creates unique designs but also adds value in terms of beauty and sustainability, while supporting the preservation of local culture through innovation in batik art.

Batik is the identity and characteristic of the Indonesian nation. Many regions in Indonesia have batik with unique characteristics, rich in various types and batik motifs in each region. The motifs always evolve with the times. Sidoarjo is one of the districts in East Java which has a wide variety of culture, arts and batik motifs. Batik in Sidoarjo has various kinds of flora and fauna motifs. Batik Lintang Sari Kenongo is a typical batik business from Sidoarjo. The products are written batik, stamped batik and printed batik. Kenongo batik has its own characteristics in the motifs on each piece of cloth which distinguishes it from various batiks in Sidoarjo so that it can be more easily recognized, especially the one that has long been famous, namely the bayeman motif. Lintang Sari Kenongo Batik tends to use floral motifs that express beauty, peace and fertility. The bayeman motif itself was formed from the creation of craftsmen who saw spinach plants around their house, this indicated that the land in Sidoarjo was very fertile, so it was used as proof of the name of the bayeman batik motif in Lintang Sari Kenongo batik, the craftsman patented this motif to become the standard motif that Lintang Sari Kenongo batik has to this day. Batik Lintang Sari Kenongo, which is a partner for PkM activities, has problems in terms of digital marketing and bookkeeping. So in this PkM activity training and mentoring are carried out regarding this matter. Community service activities have been carried out well, and partners have understood the basics of digital marketing, especially through Instagram and simple bookkeeping. It is hoped that the results of this activity will have the maximum impact on increasing sales of Lintang Sari Kenongo batik.

This research examines the conflict between Indonesia and Malaysia over the claim to batik as a cultural heritage. Batik, a traditional art form from Indonesia, has long been an important cultural symbol. However, Malaysia’s claim to batik has sparked significant controversy and tension between the two countries. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding cultural heritage disputes in the context of international relations, as they not only involve cultural pride but also economic and diplomatic factors. Using a literature review method, this study analyzes secondary data from books, articles, and scholarly journals to understand the background, developments, and resolutions of this conflict. The key findings highlight Indonesia's successful effort in registering batik as part of UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009, which provided international recognition and protection for batik. Additionally, the study explores the legal frameworks, including both soft and hard law, that help protect cultural heritage from such claims. The resolution process demonstrates the role of international diplomacy and legal measures in addressing disputes over cultural heritage. The research concludes that while cultural similarities between Indonesia and Malaysia complicate matters, a diplomatic approach supported by international law and UNESCO’s mediation has helped safeguard Indonesia's cultural identity. This study underscores the importance of cooperation in preserving cultural heritage and the essential role of international organizations in managing such conflicts.
