Cholesterol is a type of fat naturally found in the body and plays a vital role in biological functions such as cell membrane formation and hormone production. However, elevated cholesterol levels can lead to plaque buildup in arterial walls, which is a major risk factor for peripheral artery disease. This condition is characterized by the narrowing of arteries that impedes blood flow, particularly to the extremities. A cholesterol screening program is conducted to detect elevated cholesterol levels early and to provide education about healthy lifestyle habits to adults. This program employs the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach, which includes planning, implementing education and screenings, evaluating effectiveness, and taking follow-up actions based on the results. The total cholesterol screenings revealed an average level of 181.81 with a standard deviation (SD) of 34.18. While this average is within the normal range, it approaches the upper limit, warranting caution to prevent further increases that could affect cardiovascular health in the future. Regular cholesterol screening can help minimize the risk of peripheral artery disease, thereby maintaining the quality of life for adults.

Fraud in digital transactions has become a serious issue threatening the security and integrity of the fintech and e-commerce sectors. To address this problem, machine learning technology has emerged as an effective solution for automatically detecting anomalies and fraudulent transactions. This study aims to analyze the application of machine learning algorithms, specifically Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, and Ensemble Learning, in detecting fraud in digital transactions. The research adopts a quantitative approach with experimentation, testing the effectiveness of the three algorithms using a digital transaction dataset consisting of both fraudulent and non-fraudulent transactions. The results show that the Random Forest algorithm performs the best in terms of accuracy and recall, followed by Ensemble Learning, which enhances fraud detection performance by combining multiple prediction models. Meanwhile, SVM demonstrates satisfactory performance but is prone to overfitting issues when handling large and complex datasets. The study also finds that the problem of imbalanced data can affect model accuracy, and data balancing techniques such as oversampling are required to improve fraud detection performance. Overall, the findings suggest that machine learning, particularly Random Forest and Ensemble Learning algorithms, can be relied upon to improve fraud detection in digital transactions. However, challenges such as model interpretability and the need for periodic algorithm updates still need to be addressed to enhance the effectiveness of fraud prevention systems in countering the ever-evolving nature of fraud.

The seismic and magnetic data are well known for the investigation of tectonic structures and their directions on surface and subsurface, a methodological approach integrated the seismic and magnetic data interpretation combined with field measurement on cracked building and its underlying substratum, represented by Agadez sandstones and basement. The extraction of seismic lineaments from West African seismic map showed the seismic directions oriented NW-SE (N135 to N160°), passing through the studied area. The structural interpretation of magnetic map show that the Agadez region is also affected by the subsurface lineaments mainly oriented in NW-SE (N135°) directions, which are similar to the identified seismic lineaments in the same zone. A structural study carried out on the Agadez sandstones and the underlying basement, showed that faults and fractures oriented N120° to N165°, affect both the basement of the Aïr Mountains and the sandstone formations on which the city of Agadez is built. These observations showed that building cracking in Agadez region has a higher propagation tendency according to the directions ranging from NW-SE (N135°) to NNW-SSE (N165°). Therefore, the buildings cracking has a stronger propagation component according to these mean directions those are not recommended for building. To prevent and reduce the risks related to building cracking in Agadez region, it is highly recommended to build in the minor directions of cracking propagation which correspond to NE and SW directions.
