Character education gets a lot of attention nowadays. Today, when there are many occurrences of deviant behavior, character education is needed to minimize the implementation of deviant acts. Character education is applied to instill character points in everyone, which leads to changes in behavior from bad to good. To optimally instill character values ​​in each person, character education is applied. must start earlier. Elementary school education plays an important role in character education in this regard. The success of character education is influenced by several factors, one of which is a conducive atmosphere in the classroom. Through a class atmosphere with character, students can create ways to always behave well. Creating a personalized learning space requires the role of the teacher. Because people spend a lot of time at school interacting with students, teachers certainly have many opportunities to instill student character points, this time by creating character learning spaces. Some things that teachers can do to build character are: 1) imitate character, 2) teach manners, teach character academics, train character-based discipline, 5) teach manners, prevention. violations of peers and the priority of goodness, 6) directing children to be responsible for forming their own character.

The use of information and communication technology (ICT) in education has become an important topic in optimizing human resources in schools. This article aims to provide an overview of the benefits and challenges of utilizing ICT in education, and how ICT can improve the quality of human resources in schools. The research method used in this article is a literature review conducted by studying references related to the use of ICT in education. The results and discussion show that the use of ICT in education can provide significant benefits, such as facilitating teachers in presenting teaching materials, providing access to more diverse information and learning materials, and improving interactions between teachers and students. However, there are challenges and barriers in utilizing ICT, such as accessibility problems to ICT infrastructure and difficulties in operating ICT devices. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the accessibility and infrastructure of ICT in schools, as well as providing training and developing the competencies of teachers and students in operating ICT devices. In conclusion, this article presents useful information for the development of education in Indonesia, especially in terms of the utilization of ICT as a means to improve the quality of human resources in schools. With appropriate efforts, the use of ICT in education can provide more optimal and sustainable benefits for the improvement of human resources in schools.

The progress of science and technology of a nation is certainly inseparable from the success of the learning process in higher education institutions and institutions in that country. The stages of change are expected to be able to bring the nation towards the progress of a higher civilization and permeate as a whole as the identity of the nation. The level of mastery of science and technology is clear evidence of the success of development. Improving mastery of science and technology is not only carried out in formal education, but can also be carried out through non-formal education.   Information technology has developed very rapidly and covers various fields. Batik Tiga Negeri is one of the historic batiks on the north coast of the island of Java which was made to be traded from the start. Packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri is needed in addition to protecting the product, as well as for communication media in spreading about one of the nation's wealth that can be proud of. Packaging can have a useful multi-function. There are many packaging options, ranging from plastik to paper and cloth, all of which can display product labels. Through this service activity, it is hoped that the millennial generation, namely Regina Pacis Solo High School students will understand: 1) How far can the main motifs of Batik Tiga Negeri developed according to the style of young people? 2) How student’s creativity in making packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri products is not only attractive, useful, but also can be an effective communication medium. In other words, from the work produced, it will further clarify the role of packaging for Batik Tiga Negeri handicraft products other than as a wrapper. The method used is community service in the form of training. Beginning with providing material to young people as the nation's next generation, about the archipelago's wastra, especially batik. Training on making designs on packaging to wrap Tiga Negeri batik products, in order to produce a unique packaging with the main motif idea of   Batik Tiga Negeri. The purpose of this activity is to make students aware of the importance of maintaining the ancestral heritage which is the wealth of this nation.

The World Health Organization (WHO) as an agency of the United Nations, noted that in Indonesia, traffic accidents are the third leading cause of death after coronary heart disease and tuberculosis (TB). It is recorded that around 1.2 million people die each year in traffic accidents. Traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for adolescents, aged 15 to 29 years. Of this number, 73% are dominated by teenage boys. The number of traffic accidents among adolescents can occur due to several factors, one of which is the lack of understanding of adolescents about the laws and regulations governing traffic problems. In Indonesia, there is a law that regulates traffic, namely Law no. 22 of 2009. An understanding of the substance of the Traffic Law is deemed necessary for teenagers, especially for those who are still in high school. Therefore, this activity is one of the means to minimize the death rate among teenagers caused by traffic accidents, by increasing the knowledge and understanding of teenagers about Traffic laws. It is hoped that a better understanding of the Traffic Law, can reduce the number of traffic accidents among teenagers. Broadly speaking, the implementation method in this activity can be divided into three stages, first, namely pre-activity which includes licensing activities, surveys, and program preparation. Second, implementation starts with giving questionnaires before and after lectures and lectures. Third, evaluation, which includes the preparation of reports. The results of this activity showed an increase in the understanding of service participants regarding the Traffic Law and the forms of violations regulated in it. This community service activity aims to assist partners in increasing the understanding of educators and education personnel of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and the Mover School Program. The method of implementing the service is in the form of educational activities in the form of counseling which was carried out on February 5-17, 2023 with an activity workflow of four stages, namely: planning stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage, and reporting stage. This activity has been completed by meeting the predetermined achievement targets. These achievements can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in counseling activities and being active in question and answer activities and discussions. In reviewing the evaluation of activities, the implementation team considered that the implementation of this service activity could not be separated from the maximum support from partners through the preparation of facilities during the event and the enthusiasm of participants in participating in counseling activities. The inhibiting factors of the activity include: time constraints, participant attendance that is not optimal, and the remote location of partners, far from the city and in an internet blind spot.

Entering elementary school age is a very important time for the continuity of a child's development. Children have many activities that are often directly related to a dirty environment that causes children to be susceptible to disease. Parental support in terms that are very important for children's independence, especially in personal hygiene. The purpose of this study was to find out if there is a relationship between parental parenting and personal hygiene independence in elementary school children in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Manado. The design of this study uses a cross sectional approach. . This type of research is observational. The sample in this study was 50 respondents. Respondents with the measuring tool used in this study is questionnaires and then data collected and processed using the SPSS computer program,, to be analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results of the study using the Chi-square test found that the value of p value was less than a significant value (0.01<0.05) the results of this study showed that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The conclusion that can be taken is the parenting of parents have a relationship to personal hygiene independence in elementary school children. The results of this study can be a means of education for parents in improving the independence of children's personal hygiene.

The use of image media in Civic Education (PKn) learning, particularly on the topic of understanding the meaning of the Pancasila symbols in fourth-grade elementary school, often faces challenges, especially in enhancing students' comprehension of the abstract concepts involved. This community service program aims to socialize the use of image media as an effective teaching aid in PKn education. The methods employed include training and mentoring teachers in integrating image media into their lessons. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of the Pancasila symbols and increased motivation to learn. Additionally, the program sparked social change within the school environment, such as new initiatives from teachers to be more creative in using teaching media. This program successfully achieved its goals by fostering positive transformation in the school's learning processes

This study investigates the impact of character formation, religious education, and school environment on digital literacy-driven communication. The research aims to understand how these factors shape individuals' abilities and behaviors in digital communication. Employing a qualitative research model, data collection will involve interviews and observations. The sampling technique will employ purposive sampling to ensure representation across various demographics. Data analysis will employ thematic analysis to identify patterns and themes within the collected data. The study anticipates revealing insights into how character formation, religious education, and school environment interact to influence digital literacy and communication practices, contributing to a deeper understanding of the dynamics between traditional values and digital engagement.      

The problems that exist at Khairul Imam IT Junior High School can be seen from the behaviour or attitude of its personnel, including teachers who are unable to do work based on the tasks and responsibilities that have been assigned. This tendency can be seen from the teachers' preference to accumulate or collect work. This research is conducted with inferential principles where the relationship between various variables tests hypotheses and makes generalisations.  The population in this study were all teachers of SMPIT Khairul Imam, totalling 45 people. To determine the performance of SMPIT Khairul Imam teachers, the sampling procedure in this study used the saturated sampling method, namely the entire population (all teachers) who were used as respondents. This research data has 2 variables, namely the dependent variable is the performance of teachers (Y) and as an independent variable is the leadership style of superiors (X). In this study, it was found that the leaders at this research location have been able to carry out their functions well in directing, guiding, motivating, and supervising teachers to carry out their duties.  All of that takes place because there has been interaction, communication and cooperation in the school environment. If the teacher has a good impression of the leader then the teacher will carry out the tasks that have been set with full seriousness and responsibility. So in this study it was concluded that the leadership style has an influence on the performance of Khairul Imam IT Junior High School teachers..    

This journal explains how to improve language comprehension through literacy education in SD or what is often called the School Literacy Movement (GLS). The School Literacy Program is designed using the Read-Summary-Tell-Share method. The subjects of this study were all students including low grades (1, 2 and 3) and high grades (grades 4, 5 and 6), educators (teachers), education staff, principals and librarians. This research was carried out according to the stages of student development based on their characteristics; 1) implemented in a balanced manner; 2) use a variety of texts and pay attention to the needs of students; takes place in an integrated and holistic manner in all areas of the curriculum; 3) carried out on an ongoing basis; 4) involving oral communication skills; 5) considering the diversity and condition of schools. The results of this study students understand the language properly and correctly.                                                                                                                                 

Harun Nasution lahir pada 19 September 1919 di Pematang Siantar, Sumatera Utara dan meninggal pada 19 September 1998 di Jakarta. Semasa hidupnya, Harun mengikuti beberapa tingkat pengetahuan, maupun didalam ataupun di luar negeri, antara lain Hollandsh Indlandsche School (HIS)., pendidikan Belanda., Modern Islamic Kweek school (MIK), Padang, Sumatera Barat, juga belajar di Mekkah serta di Universitas Al-Azhar pada tahun 1939, selanjutnya di McGill Institute of Islamic Studies, Monteral, Kanada. Kedua, upaya Harun Nasution untuk mengembangkan Islam di Indonesia adalah: Cara fikir Islam membuat bermacam karya ilmiah berupa buku di bidang Pengetahuan Islam, sebagai dosen di beberapa perguruan tinggi di dalam dan luar negeri, beliau kadang pernah menjadi Direktur IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah pada tahun 1973. Ketiga, Pengaruh Pemikiran Islam dalam Sosio Islam - Organisasi Keagamaan di Indonesia oleh Harun Nasution. Dalam hal ini Nahdatul Ulama menemukan pengaruh pemikiran Harun Nasution dalam organisasi, walaupun di bidang pendidikan maupun dalam pemikiran Islam.

The low student learning outcomes are caused by a lack of ability to understand concepts and many students are not serious about working on questions, so that learning is not optimal and effective. Therefore, the general aim of this research is to describe the influence of TGT type cooperative learning based on badeglar media on the conceptual understanding of class X students at Adi Luhur Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method in this research uses a pre-experimental method, namely comparing the results of the pretest and posttest with the research population being all class X students at Adi Luhur Vocational School and the sample used in this research is the population itself. Data was collected using test techniques with test sheet research instruments. The data is processed according to parametric statistical calculations. The results of this research prove that the use of TGT type cooperative learning based on counting funnel media has a positive effect on student learning outcomes. The average percentage of student learning outcomes using t-test calculations where tcount is greater than ttable, namely 3.277 > 1.740. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, in other words there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest

This Community Service Program aims to strengthen literacy and numeracy in elementary school (SD) students where the focus is to provide assistance to students about the importance of strengthening literacy and numeracy in students. This activity was carried out by lecturers and students from the Mathematics Education Study Program and the Economics Education Study Program, the Teaching and Education Faculty, HKBP Nommensen University Medan. The implementation of Community Service activities in strengthening literacy and numeracy in students began on 06 February 2023 and ended on 25 February 2023. Previously, this Community Service activity had been socialized to students of SD Negeri 040536, in every classroom and it was seen that the cause of the lack of literacy and numeracy in students is still low due to lack of learning and arithmetic exercises. This problem was then minimized by carrying out related Community Service Program activities to strengthen literacy and numeracy for elementary school students. This program is an important matter in efforts to improve the concept of numeracy in schools.

Hydrotherapy also called hydrothermal therapy, is the use of water,in any of its forms, for the maintanance of health or the treatment of disease (Wardle, 2013). Footbath is a kind of hydrotherapy. There are many benefits of footbath hydrotherapy for patients with heart failure such as to improve and/or maintain functional ability and quality of life. The aim of this research is to identification the effectiveness of hydrotherapy for oxigen saturation of patients with heart failure. The methodology of this research is use quantitative design with one group pretest and posttest with intervention group design. This research did Maret 2023 in The Integrated Heart Centre Haji Adam Malik Medan Hospital. 16 Responden of this group. According demografi charachteristic results in intervention group found that according of age patients majority (62.5%) are older age with 56-65 years mean 55.06+ 8.71.  Second half three respondent (62,5%) is men. According to education level majority respondent is Senior High School (62.5%). More than hal of respondent (62.5%) is Heart Failure Chronic > 60 months (5 years) (Mean + SD= 31,44 + 26,63). Almost all respondents (87,5%) had a family with history heart failure too. Pre and Post Paired t-test results are significant different for oxygen saturation at intervention groups (p<0,05) (SpO2: t= -1.581, p= 0.004  ). It means the effectiveness of hydrotherapy significantly can increase spO2.  This research has found that significant different of oxigen saturation of patients with heart failure after hydrotherapy in intervention group.

This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes of biology in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. In the learning process, motivation plays an important role, especially student learning outcomes. This type of research is descriptive with quantitative research methods. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency with a population of 126 students of class XI MIPA enrolled in the odd semester of the academic year 2021/2022, with a sample of 94 students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling which was carried out randomly, using a significance of = 5%. The data collection in this study used a questionnaire containing statements of student learning motivation using a Likert scale, odd mid-semester exam scores for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the Pearson product moment correlation test are 0.611 (61.1%) on extrinsic motivation (X1) and intrinsic motivation (X2) of 0.505 (50.5)%, meaning that there is a fairly strong relationship between extrinsic motivation (X1) and intrinsic motivation. (X2) with the results of learning biology in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. The results of the t-test showed that the t-count of extrinsic motivation (X1) was 7.410 and the t-count of intrinsic motivation (X2) was 5.618 indicating that there was a significant relationship. The coefficient of determination of extrinsic motivation (X1) is 37.4% and intrinsic motivation (X2) is 25.5%, this means that extrinsic motivation (X1) and intrinsic motivation (X2) contribute to student biology learning outcomes (Y).

This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of Blended Learning as an online and mixed learning strategy by analyzing various research studies related to Blended Learning obtained from the Google Scholar database. The method used in this study is a method with a library approach or what is known as a literature study from research articles for 2020-2022. Article selection is carried out through the process of identification, screening, and eligibility. So that 10 articles are relevant to the objectives and problems of the literature study. Based on the literature study that has been carried out, the results show that the use of Blended Learning by utilizing several digital technology-based applications as learning support can be said to be effective for increasing literacy skills, critical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cognitive learning outcomes of students.

The urgency of analyzing the needs of learning media is very important to analyze the needs of student learning media because there is a possibility that future learning will increase. For this reason, it is important to conduct further research on school policies in meeting student learning needs during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the needs of learning media in biology subjects at SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang. The research method used was descriptive and quantitative analysis with data collection through questionnaires and interviews with biology teachers. The subject of this study was a grade 11 science student of SMAN 4 Tanjungpinang. The results showed that teachers always use learning media in every meeting and with the existence of learning media makes students motivated and not easily bored in the learning process. However, students still need a variety of learning media to support learning needs. This article emphasizes the importance of effective learning through the use of appropriate media and materials.

This service contributes to learning English, especially for beginners (Young Learners) as an effort to increase students’ interest in learning English. In addition, this activity contributes to realizing education in Junior High School (SMP) to foster students’ interests and talents and motivation in learning English and as an effort to provide an introduction to English for the beginner level (Young Learners). This service is carried out in the form of a workshop which includes socialization in the form of training/introduction and mentoring. The material for the service activities is divided into two, namely exposure to motivational material interest in learning English and introduction to English vocabulary and grammar to be able to read texts in English. The expected goals of this service are: 1) increasing students’ knowledge and understanding of how to learn English is easy; 2) increasing students’ skills in English and students being able to understand reading material well. From the whole series of community service activities, the main hope is an improvement. Improving conditions from not knowing, not understanding to very understanding, and from low be high in terms of interest, motivation, willingnesss and interest of sudents in learning English especially English vocabulary and grammar
