Background: Chinese betel (Peperomia pellucida L.) is an herbal plant rich in bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins that have the potential to be antioxidants, antimicrobials, and antidiabetics. However, the stability and absorption of its active compounds in the body is still a challenge. Microencapsulation technology and  a floating drug delivery sistem (FDDS) can improve the effectiveness and stability of herbal preparations. Objective: This study aims to formulate and evaluate floating microencapsulation preparations containing Chinese betel herb ethanol extract using modern drug delivery technology. Methods: Ethanol extracts were obtained by maceration method and formulated by ionic gelation technique using a combination of sodium alginate and chitosan at three concentration variations (0.25%, 0.5%, and 0.75%). The evaluation included morphological analysis with SEM, ex vivo buoyancy test on the stomach of Wistar rats, determination of moisture content, and physical stability test using the cycling test method. Results: Microencapsulation with a concentration of 0.75% showed the most compact and delicate morphology, the lowest moisture content (0.64%), and the best physical stability. All formulations are capable of floating, with the longest buoyancy time at a concentration of 0.25% for 8 hours. There were no significant physical changes after six cycles of extreme temperatures. Conclusion: Microencapsulation preparations of Chinese betel ethanol extract in a natural polymer-based floating system show good stability and potential as an innovative herbal formulation to extend retention time in the stomach.

One innovative solution is the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of PBL in improving elementary students’ conceptual understanding and critical thinking in mathematics. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles involving fifth-grade students at [School Name] Elementary School. Data were collected through observations, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the PBL model increased student engagement, problem-solving ability, and the average score of conceptual understanding in mathematics. Therefore, PBL is proven to be effective in fostering meaningful learning and promoting higher-order thinking skills. It is recommended that elementary mathematics teachers integrate PBL as a student-centered learning approach.

Emergency complaint services are a critical component of public service delivery, requiring speed, coordination, and integration across multiple agencies. The Surabaya City Government developed Command Center 112 as an innovative public service initiative to respond to emergency incidents quickly and in a coordinated manner. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Collaborative Governance in the management of the Command Center 112 service in Surabaya, using the model by Ansell and Gash, which includes four key indicators: starting conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and the collaborative process. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that collaboration among government agencies, volunteers, and the community has been built functionally and adaptively through regulatory support, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and open communication among stakeholders. However, challenges remain in the form of public perceptions regarding service response quality, which has not been uniformly experienced. These results highlight the importance of strengthening public communication and increasing community involvement in service evaluation. Overall, Command Center 112 in Surabaya serves as a successful example of Collaborative Governance implementation in urban emergency complaint services.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance of Shopee e-commerce technology among students with an integrative approach between the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). External constructs such as perceived trust, perceived security, and innovativeness are also included to strengthen the model. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verification design and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire answered by 135 active Shopee student users. The results of the analysis show that perceived ease of use has a significant effect on perceived usefulness and attitude toward usage, while perceived usefulness also has a significant effect on attitude and intention to use. Social factors such as subjective norms, as well as psychological factors such as trust and security have been shown to have a positive effect on usage intention. However, perceived behavioral control does not have a significant effect. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the modeling of digital technology adoption and has practical implications for e-commerce industry players in developing strategies based on student users.

Waqf holds a crucial position in promoting social welfare and fostering the growth of a Sharia-based economy. In Indonesia, the success of waqf initiatives largely relies on sound governance and the operational effectiveness of waqf institutions. This study explores the roles of the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) as the regulatory authority and nazhir as the managers of waqf assets, while also highlighting key challenges such as technological limitations, lack of transparency, and weak supervision mechanisms. To overcome these obstacles, strategies including nazhir capacity building, digitalization of waqf management, and the application of the Waqf Core Principles Implementation Index (IIWCP) have been introduced. The findings suggest that adopting professional and innovative governance practices significantly enhances transparency, accountability, and the overall impact of waqf on social welfare and sustainable economic development.

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

Digital transformation in health education opens up innovative opportunities to improve clean and healthy living behavior skills in the adolescent population. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of education through digital media in improving clean and healthy living behavior skills in guidance studio students in Malaysia. The research method uses a mixed-method approach with a participatory action research design that integrates cooperative learning as the main strategy. The subjects of the study involved 32 students of Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Pandan Malaysia consisting of 18 male students and 14 female students with an age range of 12-16 years. The intervention was carried out for 12 weeks using the "PHBS Digital Learning" application platform that integrates interactive multimedia features, quizzes, virtual simulations, and group discussion forums. Data collection was carried out through validated pre-test and post-test instruments with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.847. The results showed a significant increase in the composite knowledge score of 56.0% with a very large effect size (Cohen's d = 4.22), while practical skills increased by an average of 63.2% across all indicators. The digital platform facilitated 847 discussion posts with high engagement levels, reaching an average usage duration of 47.3 minutes per session. The transformation of student attitudes experienced a substantial increase from an average score of 2.3 to 4.2 on a scale of 1-5, with behavioral sustainability maintained by up to 78.1% of students in the follow-up evaluation. This study proves that digital media has high effectiveness in improving clean and healthy living behavior skills through the integration of cooperative learning and digital technology that creates a comprehensive and sustainable learning ecosystem.
