Before entering marriage, a person will generally choose a partner who meets their criteria. Choosing a partner is not something to be done carelessly, as this decision has a significant impact on the journey of the household and the harmony of the relationship in the future. Factors influencing partner selection can be very diverse, ranging from personal values, social environment, to the influence of developments in the times and mass media. One popular cultural phenomenon that also influences is K-Pop. For some people, a deep interest in K-Pop idols or artists can form certain standards or criteria in choosing a life partner. This study aims to determine the influence of idol worship on partner selection preferences among early adult female K-Popers in West Sumatra. The study subjects were 120 people selected using a snowball sampling technique. The study used a quantitative method, with instruments in the form of an idol worship scale and a partner selection preference scale compiled by researchers based on the dimensions of idol worship by Cheung and Yue (2018) and aspects of partner selection preferences by Townsend and Roberts (1993). The results of a simple linear regression analysis indicate that, in general, idol worship has no significant effect on partner choice preferences (sig = 0.405 > 0.05). However, when examined by dimension, attachment (sig = 0.002 < 0.05) and idealization (sig = 0.001 < 0.05) significantly influence partner choice preferences. This finding indicates that emotional aspects and idealization of idols can shape the criteria or ideal image of a desired partner, although idol worship does not have a direct effect overall.

Language development in preschool children is an important aspect in supporting children's cognitive, social, and emotional abilities in the future. One environmental factor that is thought to contribute to speech delay is excessive use of gadgets at an early age. This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on speech delay in children aged 3–5 years at the Tungoi Community Health Center. This study uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 50 children aged 3–5 years who met the inclusion criteria, using consecutive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire on gadget use filled out by parents and a screening of children's speech development. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that most children used gadgets for more than one hour per day (70%) and more than half of the respondents experienced speech delay (56%). The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between gadget use and the occurrence of speech delay (p = 0.000). Children with longer gadget use had a greater risk of speech development delay compared to children with more limited gadget use. The conclusion of this study indicates that gadget use is a significant risk factor for speech delay in children aged 3–5 years. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the duration of gadget use and increase the role of parents and health workers in providing optimal verbal stimulation and assistance to support children's language development.

This study aims to analyze the communication skills of early childhood students in class B1 at TK Negeri Pembina. The background of this study stems from the importance of early affective development, particularly communication skills, which form the foundation of children's social-emotional and cognitive development. The research method used a quantitative approach with seven children (3 boys and 4 girls) as subjects through checklist instrument observation, which was then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that most children (90%) had excellent communication skills, particularly in listening, storytelling, remembering, and self-expression. However, 10% of children still experienced difficulties in understanding and speaking, such as difficulty processing information, conveying ideas clearly, and asking for help when needed. These findings emphasize that children's communication skills need to be continuously developed through creative and interactive learning strategies, such as role-playing, storytelling, and providing a rich language environment. The role of teachers and parents is an important factor in facilitating children's communication development by creating positive interactions, setting a good example in language use, and creating a conducive learning atmosphere. Thus, the development of communication skills from an early age contributes greatly to children's affective, social, and academic development in a sustainable manner.

The Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in enhancing the village economy by utilizing the potential within the village. One of the main challenges faced by BUMDes is the issue of capital, which affects the ability of businesses to grow and achieve their shared goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions with reward-based investment balance as a mediating variable. This study used a sample of 108 BUMDes scattered across six regions in Central Java. The sampling method employed was a combination of purposive sampling and cluster sampling, where the selected BUMDes represent specific regions and involve investors from the community or community groups. Data were collected from BUMDes in six regions (administrative areas) in Central Java. The analysis tools used in this study include simple regression, multiple regression, and the Sobel test for mediation, supported by normality tests, classical deviation tests, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that emotional bias significantly affected the investment decisions of the community (t = 3.034; sig = 0.000) and also influenced the reward-based investment balance (t = 4.256; sig = 0.000). Additionally, the reward-based investment balance variable was proven to have a direct impact on investment decisions (t = 3.190; sig = 0.000). This study also found that the reward-based investment balance variable partially mediates the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions, meaning that this effect can still be mediated by other variables. The Sobel test indicated a significant result (t = 3.104; sig = 0.000), showing that the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions can be mediated through reward-based investment balance.

The phenomenon of quiet quitting has emerged as a significant challenge in modern human resource management, reflecting a fundamental shift in the psychological contract between employers and employees. This study aims to explore integrative strategies capable of aligning employee well-being with organizational productivity targets to address the commitment paradox. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research integrates the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model and the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory to analyze the psychological processes of employee withdrawal as a protective mechanism against emotional exhaustion or burnout. The analysis indicates that quiet quitting is characterized by minimal work effort, low emotional investment, and restricted social communication. Demographic factors, such as age (Generation Z) and organizational injustice, serve as the primary drivers of this phenomenon. The study concludes that organizations must recalibrate managerial strategies through transformational leadership, the provision of autonomy via job crafting, and the strengthening of psychological safety to foster a sustainable work ecosystem

The phenomenon of the fake smile has become increasingly visible in the digital era, especially through social media platforms. Such expressions are often used to mask genuine emotions such as sadness, psychological pressure, or fatigue. This study examines how the Prophetic traditions (ḥadīth) address this phenomenon in relation to sincerity, ethical conduct, and emotional balance. Three research questions are posed: (1) whether ḥadīth encourage sincerity in smiling as an act of worship, (2) how fake smiles are situated within Islamic ethical perspectives, and (3) to what extent ḥadīth provide guidance for this issue in contemporary contexts. The study applies a qualitative method, employing library research and thematic analysis of ḥadīth (mawḍūʿī). Primary data are drawn from authoritative ḥadīth collections, while secondary sources include tafsīr, classical and modern commentaries, as well as psychological literature. The findings reveal that smiling is framed as a charitable act requiring sincerity. A fake smile intended to preserve harmony may still be valued positively, but one used for manipulation or to conceal hostility conflicts with the principle of truthfulness (ṣidq) and approaches hypocrisy (nifāq). The Prophet’s balanced expressions affirm the need for sincerity in social interaction.

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the patterns of social interaction in society. Social media, especially TikTok, now functions not only as a means of entertainment but also as an effective medium for disseminating social, cultural, and humanitarian values. One interesting phenomenon in this context is the emergence of altruistic content, namely messages that represent caring, kindness, and selfless assistance. Content with altruistic nuances has its own appeal because it can create emotional closeness with the audience and has the potential to be used by business actors as a communication strategy to build a positive brand image. This study aims to identify and describe the forms of altruistic messages displayed in the TikTok account @mr.kingthread owned by Batik Benang Raja. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method based on the altruism theory of Eisenberg and Mussen, as well as the six stages of content analysis according to Klaus Krippendorff. Data were collected from 24 videos uploaded between January 1–31, 2025, through observation and documentation techniques. Then, they were analyzed and categorized into six indicators of altruism: sharing, cooperation, helping, donating, honesty, and generosity. The results of the study show that @mr.kingthread's content consistently displays altruism through sincere, emotional, and easily accepted actions by the audience. The aspect of donating emerged as the most dominant element, followed by aspects of cooperation, helping, and sharing. The natural, authentic, and uncontrived message delivery strengthens emotional closeness with the audience and increases public trust in Batik Benang Raja's image as a brand that cares about humanitarian values. In conclusion, the altruism-based communication strategy through TikTok has proven effective in spreading humanitarian values, strengthening the company's positive image, and fostering a spirit of sharing among the audience.

This research is motivated by the lack of interesting learning media that can motivate and facilitate students in understanding fashion design material. The purpose of this research is to develop Pop-Up Book Fashion media as an innovative and interactive learning tool and to determine the feasibility of Pop-Up Book Fashion media on the material of custom skirts. The research method used is development research with a 4D model with stages consisting of 4 main stages, namely: (1) Define (Definition) (2) Design (Planning); (3) Develop (Development); (4) Disseminate (Dissemination). Assessment of product feasibility results is carried out by validation to 1 validator, namely a media expert. There is 1 more validator, namely the validator of the student response questionnaire instrument. Based on the value of the validator regarding the results of the product feasibility, the average score from the media expert is 91% (very feasible). Trials on 18 class X students of SMK Negeri 6 Surabaya showed an interest level of 91.11% (very interesting). So it can be concluded that the Pop up book Fashion media is proven to be effective and interesting to use as a learning medium. This media is recommended as an innovative alternative to improve student learning outcomes, particularly in fashion design. In addition to enhancing students' understanding of fashion design materials, the use of Pop-Up Book Fashion media also provides a stronger visual and kinesthetic learning experience. Through direct interaction with media that can be touched and moved, students can imagine the final form of clothing more realistically, especially for the custom skirt material that requires visualization of models and construction. This media not only helps with cognitive aspects but also facilitates students' emotional engagement in the learning process. This is in line with the thematic learning approach that emphasizes the importance of multisensory engagement in increasing retention and learning interest.

After undergoing murottal audio therapy, there was a decrease in hallucination intensity and improvement in the patient’s emotional condition. Murottal audio therapy of Surah Ar-Rahman is effective as a non-pharmacological approach to reduce auditory hallucinations and support psychological recovery in patients with schizophrenia. Following the intervention, patients reported a significant decrease in the intensity of their hallucinations. Emotional reactions were notably less intense, and patients displayed improved emotional regulation and greater behavioral control. The results suggest that murottal audio therapy using Surah Ar-Rahman is an effective non-pharmacological intervention that not only reduces the intensity of auditory hallucinations but also plays a supportive role in the psychological recovery of patients with schizophrenia. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating spiritual therapies into comprehensive treatment plans, as they offer a holistic approach to managing schizophrenia. This intervention can complement traditional pharmacological treatments, providing patients with a sense of spiritual calm and emotional stability, which can enhance their overall mental health and well-being.
