This study aims to describe the implementation of good governance principles in public services at the Penataran Village Office, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that good governance principles such as transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, efficiency, and the rule of law have been well implemented at the village office. However, there are some obstacles in the implementation, such as limited technology, unequal participation, and administrative constraints that affect public service performance. The findings highlight the importance of an adaptive and collaborative approach in building responsive village governance that is oriented toward the needs of the community. Thus, the application of good governance principles in Penataran Village is expected to improve the quality of public services and encourage the realization of a better and more transparent government.

This study aims to analyze community perceptions of the application of legal and economic principles of food security in Rias Village, Toboali District. Food security is a crucial issue because it is directly related to survival, welfare, and regional economic stability. However, the community's understanding of food security is often limited to food availability, without considering its relationship with legislation and the dynamics of the village economy. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach that included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of the local community. The results of the study show that the people of Rias Village have a positive perception of the importance of food security, especially from an economic perspective, such as market access, food prices, and business capital. However, understanding of legal aspects is still limited, especially regarding government and local regulations that should protect the community's right to access food. This perception confirms that the successful implementation of food security principles in Rias Village is influenced by legal policies that favor the community and economic strategies that encourage local food self-sufficiency.

Kreo Village, located in Larangan District, Tangerang Regency, still relies heavily on very traditional communication methods in daily life. While this approach reflects local wisdom and strong cultural values, the changing times demand a digital transformation, especially in the field of communication. With the rapid advancement of digital technology and the growing quality of human resources in the village, the need for a more modern communication system is becoming increasingly important. One potential solution is the use of artificial intelligence technology such as ChatGPT. ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a language model based on AI developed by OpenAI. This technology can understand and generate natural language interactively, similar to human conversation. By integrating ChatGPT into community communication activities, Kreo Village can speed up access to information, facilitate the exchange of ideas and opinions, and bridge the existing digital gap. In addition, ChatGPT can also be used as an educational tool to help residents understand digital technology, support learning activities, and strengthen community participation in village development. Through this initiative, Kreo Village can move toward becoming a more inclusive, adaptive, and competitive digital village in the modern era.

The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) has great potential in improving food security and women's empowerment, but there are still gaps related to the effectiveness of the program in areas with certain geographical and social characteristics such as Kalolok Village, therefore this study is expected to provide theoretical contributions in the development of community-based empowerment models as well as practical contributions for village governments and stakeholders in designing sustainable empowerment strategies. This study uses the SWOT Analysis Method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats Analysis). SWOT is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the empowerment strategy applied to the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in the Context of the P2L Program in Batupapan Village. The results of the study using SWOT analysis The results of the IFAS analysis (2.67) and EFAS (2.57) indicate that the position of KWT Kalolok is in Quadrant I (Aggressive Strategy). This means that the group possesses significant internal strength and is supported by significant external opportunities. Therefore, development strategies need to focus on cultivation expansion, commodity diversification, technological innovation, marketing strengthening, and institutional development and internal capital. Therefore, developing cultivation innovations such as vertical farming/hydroponics is necessary to maximize limited land and providing intensive mentoring to assist in marketing produce through villages, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), and local MSME networks.

This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of the Mendalo Indah Village Information System Application (Simendah) in improving public services at the Mendalo Indah Village Government. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive research type and data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Simendah application is considered ineffective in enhancing public services, as several indicators have not been fulfilled. In terms of productivity, the objectives of the application have not been fully achieved, as many residents have not utilized the application, resulting in no significant increase in the number of services processed annually. In terms of adaptability, many residents still prefer to handle administrative documents conventionally, indicating a low level of acceptance of digital systems. In terms of development, the application is not yet mature, as it often experiences errors and remains vulnerable to hacking. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the application is constrained by limited facilities and infrastructure, the low quality of human resources, the lack of community understanding of the application’s use, and the minimal participation of residents in utilizing the digital services.

This study examines the implementation of Fardhu kifayah counseling in Telagah Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency, focusing on the social and cultural problems and challenges faced by the local community. Telagah Village is known for its rich history, strong traditions, and local wisdom that shape its social life. However, in the practice of handling the deceased, several issues remain, including limited community knowledge, lack of regeneration among younger members, inadequate facilities, and the absence of a designated team responsible for the Fardhu kifayah process. These limitations often lead to dependence on a few individuals who possess the necessary skills, creating sustainability concerns in the long run. Furthermore, cultural aspects such as conservative norms, gender role divisions, and deeply rooted customs influence how the community perceives and accepts Fardhu kifayah counseling. The study highlights that successful implementation requires not only technical guidance but also sensitivity to local values and traditions. Strengthening community participation and fostering collaboration between religious leaders and local authorities are essential to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of Fardhu kifayah education in Telagah Village.

This study examines the stages of the mangain tradition in marriages between the Toba Batak and Karo ethnic groups in Pintu Angin Village and examines the importance of clans (marga) within the Toba Batak ethnic group. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study demonstrate that the mangain tradition must be applied to marriages between the Toba Batak and Karo ethnic groups. For the Toba Batak community, clans are a vital identity, and interethnic marriages clearly hold a place within the Toba Batak traditional institution, the Dalihan Na Tolu structure. However, the mangain tradition also serves as a gateway for people outside the Toba Batak ethnic group to join the Toba Batak community. Furthermore, the Pintu Angin Village community supports this tradition as a cultural heritage that must be upheld. The mangain process is also seen as maintaining the dignity of Toba Batak customs and demonstrating mutual respect between ethnic groups.
