Riset Ilmu Manajemen Bisnis dan Akuntansi 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Manajemen Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis Indonesia

This study seeks to ascertain the impact of macroeconomic fundamentals, the configuration of ownership, the attributes of the company, and the composition of capital on the practice of earnings management, considering the reputation of the auditor as a moderating factor. This study employs data from 11 firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, chosen through purposive sampling over the years 2019 to 2022, resulting in a total of 44 instances of data observation. The analysis method uses SmartPLS analysis. The research results show that macro fundamentals, ownership structure, company characteristics and capital structure do not have a significant effect on earnings management. The composition of ownership and the financial leverage of a company notably impact its attributes. However, the standing of the auditor does not alter the effect that ownership configuration, company traits, and financial structuring have on the practices of earnings management.

Abstract :The financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) for the period 2020-2022 needs to be evaluated to determine the effectiveness of management in managing the company's finances. The purpose of the study is to measure the financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) through financial statement analysis over the period 2020, 2021, and 2022. This study uses various types of financial ratios such as Liquidity, Solvency, and Profitability. The research method used is qualitative with a quantitative approach. The data used is sourced from the financial statements of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis results show that the company has good liquidity because current assets are higher than current liabilities. The solvency ratio level is quite healthy. Although the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) indicates high debt, the low Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) values show that most of the assets are still funded by equity. The company's profitability level is less healthy. Although the Gross Profit Margin (GPM) shows positive results and is higher than the industry average, other ratios such as Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) indicate that the company has significant room for improvement in operational efficiency, cost management, and optimization of asset and equity utilization. Keywords: Analysis, Liquidity, Solvency, Profitability

Companies in the food and beverage sector that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange have the same goal as any other company: to maximize earnings. Working capital management and accounts receivable turnover are critical factors that might affect a company's financial performance in this setting. Previous studies have shown that improved management of a company's working capital and receivables may lead to increased earnings. Listed businesses in the food and beverage subsector on the IDX will have their working capital and receivables turnover assessed for their impact on profitability from 2020 to 2022. A quantitative research technique grounded on descriptive methodology is used in this study. The food and beverage industry had a number of IPOs between 2020 and 2022 on the IDX. As supplementary resources, we rely on www.idx.co.id and the company's annual financial report. We used a multiple linear regression test to examine the data and determine the impact of working capital and receivables turnover on profitability at the same time. Data shows that between 2020 and 2022, receivables turnover and working capital together have a major impact on the profitability of IDX-listed food and beverage subsector firms. Improved management of working capital and receivables may lead to higher profitability, according to the research. Future studies should include a larger sample size and more factors to better advise organizational management on financial decision-making.

Good audit quality is an important factor in ensuring the integrity and reliability of an entity's financial reports. This research aims to examine the influence of free cash flow and audit committee effectiveness on audit quality. Free cash flow reflects the availability of financial resources for a company to finance operational and audit activities. Meanwhile, an effective audit committee can ensure adequate oversight of the financial reporting and audit processes. This research uses panel data which includes companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2022 period. Free cash flow is measured using the ratio of operating cash flow to total assets, while audit committee effectiveness is measured using a composite score that includes the audit committee's independence, expertise and activities. Audit quality is assessed based on proxies such as the size of the public accounting firm, auditor industry specialization, and audit fees. The research results show that free cash flow and audit committee effectiveness have a significant positive influence on audit quality. Companies with high free cash flow tend to have adequate resources to pay higher audit fees, thereby encouraging auditors to carry out a more in-depth and quality audit process. In addition, an effective audit committee can ensure good oversight of the financial reporting and audit process, thereby improving audit quality. These findings provide important implications for companies and regulators in improving audit quality through managing free cash flow and establishing effective audit committees. Future research can explore other factors that influence audit quality and include relevant control variables.
