General elections (Pemilu) are a key element in strengthening the foundation of democracy, where voter participation, especially among students, plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of a country's democracy. This research explores the determinant factors influencing the decisions of young voters, particularly students in the Civic Education Program (PPKN) at Universitas Negeri Medan (Unimed) with Stambuk 2023. The primary focus of this study is to understand the motivations and barriers to young voter participation in elections. The research aims to analyze determinant factors in general elections, emphasizing the perspective of PPKN students at Unimed with Stambuk 2023. Through a survey approach and quantitative research design, the study reveals that student voters tend to make decisions based on in-depth understanding, personal beliefs, and active participation in political activities. These findings provide profound insights into the dynamics of student voter preferences and decision-making. Campaign strategies that prioritize effective communication regarding political parties, candidates' track records, visions and missions, work programs, and freedom of expression can enhance the potential for garnering support. Further understanding of personal values and individual experiences is also crucial in designing campaigns that align with the expectations and values of young voters. Students’ understanding of concept can be measured and assessed using mathematical concept understanding test instruments. The instrument to be used must be prepared to meet the criteria for a good instrument. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the validity and reliability of students' conceptual understanding questions in learning assessments. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data was obtained through tests and interviews with mathematics subject teachers. The subjects in this research were class IX students at MTsN 2 Kerinci, totaling 22 students in 1 class. Based on the results of validity calculations using the Pearson Product Moment formula and t test, as well as calculations of question reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha formula, it was found that each question item was valid and reliable, so this test instrument can be used to measure students' ability to understand mathematical concepts.

PT X is a company engaged in producing ships. PT In the research, a validity test was carried out to determine whether the questions given did not produce deviant (valid) data as measured by the Pearson correlation. Then, this research also carried out a reliability test to determine whether the measuring instrument remained consistent if the measurement was carried out twice or more using the Cronbach's Alpha (a) formula. From the research data, valid variables were obtained, including; Friendliness, Good communication, Willingness and readiness, Efforts to establish good relationships, Easy to contact, Cleanliness of the room, The room is not noisy, Quick service, Bright room light, Does not discriminate between subcontractors, Quick approval of offers, Fast issuance of contracts, Comfortable room, and Accuracy Employee. In this research, all variables were found to be valid, so the next step that must be taken is to carry out reliability calculations because the variables in the questionnaire are valid. From the results of reliability calculations, the Cronbach's Alpha value > significance level value is 0.770 > 0.6, so the instrument is said to be reliable. From the research obtained with IBM SPSS software, it is useful for carrying out validity and reliability tests in analyzing the level of subcontractor satisfaction with facilities and services in the Procurement Services Division of PT X's Supply Chain clearly and optimally.
