Abstract -  Corn plants are one of the plants that are easy to grow and relatively fast to get results but also a plant that is vulnerable to pests and diseases. The symptoms that arise require an expert or agricultural expert to be able to diagnose. Limited time and expert labor is one of the causes of delayed diagnosis, causing a decrease in farmers' yields. This is the basis for making this expert system by adopting knowledge from agricultural experts about the symptoms of corn disease using the Forward Chaining method. To support the research conducted, researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) research method and the design used the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) method using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Software is built using the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database, and Bootstrap as an interface design with a web-based system.

This study examines the complex dynamics of retirement planning among manufacturing workers in Batam, Indonesia, focusing on the interplay between financial behavior, social influence, and retirement planning outcomes. Utilizing a quantitative associative approach, the research surveyed 100 workers from diverse demographic backgrounds in Batam's manufacturing sector. The study employed Smart-PLS 3 software for structural equation modeling and path analysis. Key findings reveal that while financial behavior positively influences retirement planning (β=0.196, p=0.032), social influence exhibits a much stronger positive effect (β=0.858, p=0.000). Interestingly, social influence negatively moderates the relationship between financial behavior and retirement planning (β=-0.176, p=0.037), suggesting that social factors may sometimes counteract individual financial practices. These results underscore the complexity of retirement planning in industrial urban settings, highlighting the need for a nuanced approach that considers both individual financial literacy and broader social contexts. The study concludes by recommending holistic strategies that combine traditional financial education with community-based interventions to enhance retirement planning effectiveness among workers in rapidly developing industrial cities like Batam.

The quality of audits is a crucial measurement to determine how effectively an audit has been conducted and the extent to which it produces relevant, accurate, and reliable information. High-quality audit outcomes are typically assessed based on how well the audit team performs the planning process, ensures that the audit plan is relevant and effective, produces audit reports that meet stakeholders' needs, and adheres to ethical principles aligned with established auditing standards. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which several key factors—namely audit planning, audit implementation, audit reporting, and ethical principles—have a direct impact on the audit quality of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (Aparat Pengawasan Intern Pemerintah, or APIP) in the Binjai City Government. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data collected from a sample of 39 government auditors. Data analysis was performed using the SmartPLS (Partial Least Squares) application, which allows for the modeling of complex relationships between variables. The findings reveal that audit planning, audit implementation, and audit reporting all have a significant and direct influence on the quality of audit results. These components play a central role in enhancing the credibility, effectiveness, and usefulness of internal government audits. However, the study also finds that ethical principles, while essential in guiding professional conduct, do not have a statistically significant direct impact on audit quality in this specific context. The results underscore the importance of strengthening technical aspects of the audit process, such as planning and reporting, while also maintaining strong ethical foundations as complementary rather than primary determinants of audit quality. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to improve the effectiveness and reliability of internal government audits in Indonesian public sector institutions.
