Rice plays a vital role as the main food source for almost half of the global population, contributing more than 21% of the total calories humans need. Production predictions are important for determining import-export policies. This research proposes the XGBoost method to predict rice harvests globally using FAO and World Bank datasets. Feature analysis, removal of duplicate data, and parameter tuning were carried out to support the performance of the XGBoost method. The results showed excellent performance based on which reached 0.99. Evaluation of model performance using metrics such as MSE, and MAE measured by k-fold validation show that XGBoost has a high ability to predict crop yields accurately compared to other regression methods such as Random Forest (RF), Gradient Boost (GB), Bagging Regressor (BR) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Apart from that, an ablation study was also carried out by comparing the performance of each model with various features and state-of-the-art. The results prove the superiority of the proposed XGBoost method. The study used a qualitative methodology and collected data from various sources by means of interviews, observations and analyzing related documents. The aim is to evaluate the institutions established by BAPQAH SIKA North Sumatra, namely education and training for Calligraphy, Hafiz-hafizhah and Qari-qariah. With this data collection method, it was found that routine education and training was carried out, except on Saturday nights, at no cost. However, educational management is not yet fully professional, especially in a curriculum that is not yet clearly structured. In the teaching and learning process, various methods such as demonstration, muthala'ah, qiraat, Wahdah for tahfiz, and assignments for Arabic calligraphy are applied. Despite facing limited financial resources which make it difficult to recruit professional teachers, education and training continues to run effectively. Students who excel in the MTQ event demonstrate the quality of education provided, even though most of the teachers are students who are experienced and have excelled in the same event.

The handling of plastic waste in Indonesia, especially in Central Java, poses a serious issue. Bank Sampah Banjarnegara (BSB) in Kasilib Village, Wanadadi, Banjarnegara, stands as a successful example in addressing this problem. The motivation from the increasing plastic waste prompted BSB to seek innovative solutions. Through the Fastpol 5.0 technology, BSB successfully converted plastic waste into high-efficiency fuel oil. Fastpol 5.0, a fifth-generation pyrolysis machine, can transform plastic waste through the fast pyrolysis and catalytic cracking processes. The machine excels in efficiency, the ability to produce various types of fuel, and plasma technology to clean combustion residues. This innovation is acknowledged through the nomination for the 2023 Innovative Government Award (IGA). BSB not only prioritizes economic aspects but also considers the environmental and public health impacts. Collaboration with waste collectors is a holistic approach to managing plastic waste. In addition to Fastpol 5.0, BSB has also developed a practical kerosene stove in the hope of providing economic and environmental solutions. The success of BSB demonstrates that technology-based solutions can be a positive step in handling plastic waste. It is recommended for these solutions to be adopted by other regions while increasing public awareness of waste separation. Environmental sustainability can be achieved through technological innovations that are not only effective but also have positive economic and social impacts.
