Green Open Space (GOS) is an essential element in urban spatial planning that functions to maintain air quality and ecosystem balance. This research aims to analyze the influence of GOS on the concentration levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the urban area of Jayapura City. The study locations were focused on two areas with distinct characteristics: Jalan Sam Ratulangi, which has high vegetation coverage, and Jalan Percetakan, which is dominated by built-up areas and dense commercial activity. The methods used include spatial analysis utilizing Landsat 8 satellite imagery Band 4 (Red) and Band 5 (NIR) to calculate the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), a vegetation time series analysis from 2019–2024, and direct CO2 concentration measurements taken at three different times (morning, noon, afternoon). The data was processed using ArcGIS with the Kriging Interpolation method to generate spatial distribution maps of CO2 in both locations. The results show that Jalan Sam Ratulangi has a GOS area of 6.13 ha (94%), while Jalan Percetakan has only 2.95 ha (31%). This difference significantly impacts CO2 levels, with an average concentration of 484 ppm at Sam Ratulangi, which is lower than Percetakan's average of 567 ppm. The highest CO2 value at Percetakan reached 649 ppm during the afternoon, whereas Sam Ratulangi recorded only 488 ppm. This study proves that the wider and healthier the GOS, the lower the CO2 concentration detected. These results demonstrate that vegetation plays a significant role in reducing carbon emissions in urban areas, supporting the crucial role of GOS in maintaining air quality and supporting sustainable urban development in Jayapura City.

This study aims to examine public minibus drivers in Medan from the perspectives of citizenship and liberalism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that public minibus drivers enjoy individual freedoms, such as determining their working hours, choosing their rest times, and competing for passengers. This freedom is seen as a form of self-sovereignty in line with the principles of liberalism. However, this freedom also gives rise to contradictions, namely economic uncertainty, the burden of daily deposits, and the absence of social security and legal protection. The emergence of application-based transportation services further exacerbates the gap, as angkot drivers feel they experience inequality in terms of access to technology, regulations, and government support. This condition demonstrates the weak role of the state in guaranteeing their citizenship rights, especially those related to welfare and job protection. Thus, this study emphasizes that the principle of freedom in liberalism cannot be separated from the state's responsibility to achieve social justice. More equitable policies, technological support, and social protection for public minibus drivers are important steps to ensure that individual freedom is in line with citizenship rights.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common degenerative diseases of the joints experienced by the elderly, characterized by damage to cartilage that causes pain, stiffness, and decreased joint function. This disease usually occurs in joints that support body weight, such as the knees, which can interfere with the mobility and quality of life of the elderly. To overcome this, one approach that can be done is physiotherapy, which focuses on strengthening exercises to improve joint stability and function. Exercises such as straight leg raise, heel raise, and wall squat can help strengthen the muscles around the knee joint, reduce pain, and improve mobility in the elderly. This physiotherapy counseling was carried out at the Sawojajar Posyandu on October 20-24, 2024, with the aim of educating the elderly about Osteoarthritis and providing strengthening exercises. During the activity, pre-tests and post-tests were carried out to measure the effectiveness of the counseling.
