In society, many questions arise regarding how to become wealthy according to Islamic teachings, especially based on the Prophet's hadiths. Therefore, this article aims to provide a Sharia-compliant guide on how to acquire wealth and how to distribute it properly. The purpose of this research is to understand the legal protection for children who are victims of parental neglect and to identify the forms of accountability for parents who neglect their children. The type of research used in this study is normative-empirical research. The data in this research were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies using the legislative approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The discussion in this research refers to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 Year 2014 concerning child protection, which states that legal protection for children can be interpreted as efforts to legally protect various freedoms and fundamental rights of children. In Hinduism, it is also explained that protection for children must be carried out since the child is in the womb. It is not acceptable for a child in the womb to receive any mistreatment from anyone, especially after the child is born into the world and lives like other humans in general.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) says that the Lord Jesus commanded His disciples to preach the gospel and also applies to us as believers to carry out the Great Commission. In preaching the gospel, there are many risks and challenges that missionaries must face and most likely that is what makes most people afraid to preach the gospel, so they prefer to remain silent and keep the good news to themselves. We need to study mission figures who made their lives historic for others when they preached the gospel in a place. Through their experiences, they can give us motivation and enthusiasm to participate in preaching the gospel. The researcher will discuss an evangelistic figure named Nommensen. In his childhood, Nommensen once heard a story about a missionary told by his teacher named Callisen, since then he began to be interested in an event in the story, namely about the struggle to free backwardness, slavery of poor children. In general, Nommensen is known as a famous German evangelist in Indonesia. Because the fruit of his hard work was the establishment of the largest church in the Batak Toba ethnic group. Namely the Church called Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP). The success of evangelism carried out by Ludwig Ingwer Nommensen in Tanah Batak is one of the most prominent examples in the history of missions in Indonesia. This study explores Nommensen's evangelism strategy from the perspective of evangelism theology, by highlighting how his inculturative, educational, and social service approaches contributed to the acceptance of Christianity among the Batak people.

Abstract. Domestic workers as informal workers require special attention and protection from formal workers. Domestic workers are classified as informal workers, so the Employment Law cannot be used to protect them. In this case, the protection provided is in the form of balancing the rights and responsibilities of Domestic Workers and employers, as well as ensuring safety so that Domestic Workers can obtain decent work. Indonesia is a country that prioritizes the protection of human rights by upholding the values of human dignity and dignity as a whole. However, in Indonesia there are no comprehensive laws and regulations to protect local workers. Qualitative analysis was used to compile this study. This study is normative juridical, focusing on the study of the application of positive legal rules or norms. The results of the author's research show that domestic workers are considered vulnerable to various weaknesses in carrying out their duties. This shows the importance of protection for domestic workers. Therefore, the Law on the Protection of Domestic Workers provides protection for domestic workers while also providing protection for employers, especially in terms of ensuring a fair balance between the rights and responsibilities of both parties.

The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding of the ONKP Resort Sibolga congregation that prayer can change everything and to what extent the role of prayer changes everything. The research method is qualitative research. The data collection technique for this study was using semi-structured interviews. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of interviews with the ONKP Resort Sibolga congregation about prayer being able to change everything, the congregation believes and trusts that prayer can change everything. Prayer can change everything when the congregation has faith that the prayers offered must be full of confidence that the power of prayer will occur in their lives. The congregation also said that the prayers of the righteous will be realized by God. When people pray to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then God automatically justifies the person. In addition, prayer can change everything when the congregation is obedient to the word of God. Obedience is proof that someone truly loves God. Disobedience is a rebellious attitude that God hates. God hears the prayers of those who are willing to obey the truth of the Bible, in other words disobedience is a barrier to answered prayer. (John 15:7). Prayer also has a role in calming the anxiety experienced by the congregation.

This study aims to determine the criminal act of verbal sexual harassment from the perspective of the community in the XII hamlet, gg. Mentimun 19, Percut Sei Tuan and students of the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. This study uses an empirical legal method. This study also explains the laws governing the criminal act of verbal sexual harassment with the sanctions received by the perpetrators. In this study, data was obtained that the general public aged 40 years and over considered verbal sexual harassment not a serious matter that must be followed up by law in accordance with applicable laws, while students and people aged 20-30 years considered verbal harassment as a criminal act of harassment that must be followed up with legal sanctions in accordance with applicable laws. One of the factors causing cases of sexual violence is gender inequality in society. Women are often targeted because their position is not equal to men. Thus, gender equality is not only a basic right, but can be the key to changing the dynamics of sexual violence. For this reason, important steps are needed to realize gender equality and justice as an effort to prevent sexual violence.

The preparation of this scientific paper aims to analyze economic, social, environmental, and ecological issues that arise as a result of the interaction between mining activities and the existence of natural resources. This study employs a normative legal research method. Based on the findings, the mining activities of PT. IWIP in North Maluku Province have positive impacts that can support economic development. However, the adverse effects on the environment tend to be more significant. This is evidenced by water, air, and soil pollution caused by PT. IWIP’s mining operations in Central Halmahera Regency. According to the author, this is a very serious issue. The government’s ambition to make Indonesia a leading producer of nickel-based products has endangered the lives of residents in Central Halmahera living near nickel mining areas. These communities are forced to sacrifice their livelihoods, and even their health has been affected. Moreover, there is no accountability from PT. Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park regarding the environmental impacts, which are influenced by the new regulations that have been enacted. Article 88 of Law Number 6 of 2023, which ratifies Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 on Job Creation, removes the provision that previously did not require proof of fault. This change makes it more difficult for affected communities to prove the environmental pollution that has occurred.

People who are not involved in war receive legal protection, as regulated in Article 3 of the 1949 Geneva Convention. People who are protected include combatants, militia members and civilians, but the protection has not been implemented properly, because violence often occurs against  they.  This writing explains the protection of people who are not involved in war, but this protection is still far from what it should be because violence still occurs against civilians who are victims of inhumane actions.

This article explores recent developments in reproductive technology, particularly in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the use of surrogate wombs. It also examines the implications of both methods, particularly in legal, ethical, and religious terms. IVF and surrogate wombs offer solutions for couples facing infertility issues. However, both also carry significant challenges in social and moral dimensions. Using a descriptive approach, this article analyzes various perspectives on the practice, including the Islamic view that generally allows IVF with certain conditions but rejects the use of surrogate wombs. The findings of this study reveal that although reproductive technology offers new hope, it is important to adjust regulations to align with legal, medical, and religious values. Thus, the implementation of this technology can be carried out wisely and humanely.

This study aims to analyze the role of environmental education in raising ecological awareness and to identify the supporting and hindering factors in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through literature reviews, interviews, and observations at both formal and non-formal educational institutions. The findings indicate that environmental education plays a significant role in shaping environmentally friendly awareness and behavior among learners. It encourages a deeper understanding of ecological issues and fosters a sense of responsibility toward the environment. However, in practice, the implementation of environmental education still faces various challenges. The main obstacles identified include limited resources, a shortage of educators with specific competencies in environmental topics, and a lack of policy support from both government and educational institutions. On the other hand, practice-based learning methods—such as field activities, environmental projects, and collaborations with local communities—have proven more effective in enhancing active participation and engagement among students. The main contribution of this study is to provide insights into optimal strategies for the implementation of environmental education, along with recommendations for policymakers to improve its effectiveness through curriculum strengthening and innovative teaching methods. These findings also serve as a foundation for developing more contextual and applicable learning models. For future research, it is recommended to broaden the scope of the study by examining the effectiveness of environmental education in various socio-economic contexts and exploring the use of digital technologies in environmental learning.

The development of the Toba Caldera Geopark as a national priority tourism destination is part of the government’s efforts to drive regional economic growth, improve community welfare, and strengthen Indonesia’s position in sustainable tourism. However, its implementation presents significant challenges in balancing economic development, environmental sustainability, and social justice, particularly for indigenous communities around the area. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Toba Caldera Geopark development policy on the environment and local indigenous communities. A multidisciplinary approach was employed, combining qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, along with quantitative data from surveys and official secondary sources. The results indicate potential conflicts between tourism infrastructure development and nature conservation, including environmental degradation and the erosion of local cultural values. Additionally, there is a risk of marginalization of indigenous communities in terms of access to natural resources and their involvement in decision-making processes. Therefore, this study recommends the need for more inclusive and sustainable policies that place indigenous communities at the center of geopark management. Active participation of local communities, recognition of customary land rights, and development approaches based on local wisdom are essential to achieving equitable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible development of the Toba Caldera Geopark.

The Protestant Reformation had a significant impact on the development of Christian theology, especially in the field of Christology. This study aims to examine the thoughts of Martin Luther and John Calvin regarding the role of Christ in the process of human salvation. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study technique, which examines the theological works of the two Reformers. The results of the study show that Luther emphasized the personal relationship between humans and Christ as savings, as well as the real presence of Christ in the sacrament as a form of God's grace that can be experienced personally. Meanwhile, Calvin developed the concept of three placements of Christ as prophet, priest, and king which emphasized the overall role of Christ in salvation, and viewed the sacrament as a spiritual means to strengthen the faith of believers. Through this study, it can be concluded that Christology in the Reformation tradition provides a strong, systematic, and relevant theological basis for the development of contemporary Protestant teachings, both in doctrinal aspects and the practice of life of faith.
