Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

Pesantren, as an Islamic educational institution that has long been a center of religious learning and character development, has great potential in advancing entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The role of pesantren is not only limited to teaching religious studies, but also includes coaching students to have economic independence and competitiveness in the midst of the Times. Local wisdom that grows around pesantren can be an important capital in developing businesses that are relevant to the needs of the community. However, optimizing the function of pesantren in producing students who are independent and able to compete still faces various challenges. One of the main obstacles is the development of Human Resources (HR) which is not only oriented to mastering the theory, but also on practical skills and understanding of local values. Without the right strategy, such great potential is difficult to realize sustainably. This study aims to explore strategies that can be applied in the development of human resources in order to improve the performance of local wisdom-based entrepreneurship in the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on several boarding schools that have succeeded in forming productive business units by utilizing local potential, such as agriculture, fisheries, crafts, and food product processing. Research findings indicate that several crucial factors in building entrepreneurial human resources in pesantren include: strengthening character and work ethic, hands-on practice-based training in the field, collaboration with local business actors for knowledge transfer and market networking, as well as historical and philosophical understanding of local wisdom values. The success of entrepreneurship development in pesantren depends on the integration of spiritual aspects, practical skills, and knowledge about the potential of the region. Based on the results of the study, an integrated entrepreneurship training model that combines science, faith, and concrete action is recommended. This Model is expected to produce great pesantren entrepreneurs, competitive, and able to adapt and face global challenges without leaving their identity and noble values.

Free trade provides significant opportunities for developing countries to increase exports, expand market access, and drive economic growth. Through engagement in global markets, products and services can reach a wider range of consumers, creating the potential for increased national income. However, global economic integration also presents serious challenges, particularly in terms of the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). As national boundaries in economic activity become increasingly blurred, intellectual property—including patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, and trade secrets—becomes increasingly vulnerable to infringement. Common forms of infringement include piracy, counterfeiting of branded products, and theft of technology or innovation. These practices not only harm creators or rights owners but can also hinder the development of innovation, reduce industrial competitiveness, and undermine consumer confidence. Adequate IPR protection requires a combination of strong national regulations and an effective international legal framework. Instruments such as the TRIPS (Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) Agreement under the WTO provide global standards to which compliance must be adhered, but implementation at the national level is crucial for their success. Weak or inconsistent law enforcement can open the door to violations that harm both domestic and foreign businesses. Beyond legal aspects, effective IPR protection also impacts the investment climate. Investors tend to invest in countries that can guarantee the security of their intellectual assets. Therefore, IPR protection is not only a legal issue but also a long-term economic development strategy. Therefore, in the era of free trade, developing countries need to balance market openness with strengthening IPR protection systems to create a conducive environment for innovation, sustainable economic growth, and public welfare.

This study aims to conduct a critical study of the teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education and Character Building (PABP), specifically on the material "Avoiding Backbiting and Carrying Out Tabayun" used in class VII of SMPIT Takhassus Al-Qur'an Ashabiq. The focus of the study in this study covers several important aspects, namely learning objectives, the material delivered, the learning methods and models applied, evaluation of learning outcomes, and sources and references for teaching materials used by teachers and students. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through document studies of teaching materials, observations of the learning process in the classroom, interviews with teachers and students, and data validation is carried out through expert audits to ensure the accuracy of the findings. The results show that the teaching materials used have referred to the principles of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, which emphasize the development of character and student competencies as a whole. However, several significant weaknesses were found, especially in terms of integration between learning objectives with learning activities and evaluations carried out. Learning materials are structured in a normative and idealistic manner, but they do not adequately accommodate students' real-life contexts, particularly in facing the challenges of today's digital era, which significantly impact how they understand and internalize religious values. Learning evaluation is still dominated by cognitive measures such as written tests and conceptual understanding, while the attitudinal and skill dimensions, which are crucial for character education, have not been optimally measured. Furthermore, the learning resources used are quite limited, relying solely on textbooks and student worksheets (LKS), without any support from contemporary literature or digital media that could enrich the learning process and make it more engaging and relevant to today's students.

Mission constitutes a fundamental dimension of the Catholic Church’s identity, intrinsically linked to the divine mandate to participate in God’s work of salvation in the world. Within this framework, the consecrated life of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit (SSpS) embodies a distinctive expression of Trinitarian spirituality and a prophetic missionary vocation. In the context of Timor Island, this charism is concretely manifested through ministries that directly engage with the realities of local communities. This study adopts a qualitative methodology with a literature review approach, drawing on theological sources, congregational spirituality, and the SSpS Constitution to explore the theological and practical dimensions of the sisters’ mission. The research aims to analyze how the life and apostolate of the SSpS Sisters serve as a tangible witness to the presence of the Triune God, particularly through works in education, healthcare, social services, and pastoral ministry. The findings indicate that the sisters’ mission is deeply rooted in a faith experience centered on the Most Holy Trinity, which shapes their incarnational and intercultural approach to ministry. Their service reflects a prophetic commitment to empowering marginalized communities, promoting human dignity, and fostering social transformation. Furthermore, the integration of religious vows with active engagement in societal issues illustrates a spirituality that bridges contemplation and action, grounded in both fidelity to the Gospel and responsiveness to contextual needs. In conclusion, the consecrated life of the SSpS Sisters on Timor Island stands as a visible and dynamic sign of God’s salvific and prophetic presence. Through their holistic and transformative ministries, they contribute significantly to the mission of the Church and the common good of society, embodying a vision of the “civilization of love” rooted in Trinitarian communion and expressed in concrete service to humanity.

This study addresses the issue of inadequate financial reporting by Regional Government Organizations (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah/OPD) in Nganjuk, where financial statements are expected to meet user needs in fulfilling transparency and accountability requirements. The research investigates the influence of four key factors—accounting standards, information systems, internal controls, and the competence of human resources—on the quality of financial statements. Furthermore, it examines the moderating role of organizational commitment in strengthening or weakening the relationships between these factors and financial reporting quality. The study adopts a quantitative research design, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 53 OPD offices, involving 212 randomly selected respondents. Data were analyzed using classical assumption tests to ensure validity and reliability, followed by Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) employing SPSS software. The findings reveal that information systems, internal controls, and competent human resources have a significant positive effect on the quality of financial reports. In contrast, accounting standards show no significant direct impact. Moreover, organizational commitment plays a moderating role in enhancing the positive effects of information systems, internal controls, and human resource competence on report quality. However, it does not moderate the relationship between accounting standards and financial reporting quality. These results highlight the importance of both technical and human resource aspects in improving financial statement quality within OPDs. While adequate systems and controls are crucial, the study underscores that the presence of strong organizational commitment is a determining factor in maximizing their effectiveness. The research suggests that efforts to improve financial reporting should not only focus on compliance with standards but also on strengthening commitment, training, and the integration of information systems and internal control mechanisms

This study examines the phenomenon of the religious jargon “Go Berkah No Riba” (Go Blessed, No Interest) as a digital marketing communication strategy employed by entrepreneurs on social media, particularly Facebook. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and visual discourse analysis, this research seeks to understand how the jargon is interpreted, constructed, and widely disseminated in the context of product marketing and business opportunities. The findings indicate that “Go Berkah No Riba” functions not only as a marker of religious identity but also as a rhetorical device that combines spiritual values with aspirations for material success. Visual analysis of promotional materials, such as flyers and Facebook posts, reveals the use of hyperbolic language, symbolic imagery—such as the Kaaba and piles of money—and religious narratives designed to build credibility and persuade potential consumers. The integration of religious elements with economic appeal creates a sharia-compliant business image that simultaneously promises profitability. However, the study also uncovers ambiguity in the use of this jargon. On the one hand, it can strengthen the image of a business operating ethically according to Islamic principles. On the other hand, it risks being exploited merely as a marketing gimmick without a strong foundation in ethical business practices. This creates the potential for a gap between the religious message communicated and the actual business conduct. The findings underscore the importance of critical literacy in understanding religious communication strategies within the digital business sphere. Consistency between religious messaging and real-world business practices is crucial for maintaining consumer trust and avoiding the excessive commodification of religious values. Therefore, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of religion-based marketing communication in the era of digital transformation.

This article examines Ibn Khaldun's philosophical perspective on wages and its relevance to the wage system in Indonesia in the modern era. Ibn Khaldun, a prominent 14th-century Muslim thinker, emphasized that wages are closely linked to the value of work, social justice, and the economic stability of a society. In his Muqaddimah, he emphasized that establishing fair wages is not merely an economic issue but also a moral and social pillar that can prevent societal disintegration. Equitable wages, he argued, must be able to guarantee a decent living for workers and their families, while also supporting continued productivity and social cohesion. This study uses a qualitative normative approach through content analysis of relevant texts in the Muqaddimah and comparing them with wage policies in Indonesia, including minimum wage regulations, labor protection, and welfare policies. Data were obtained from library research, national regulations, and recent academic literature on wage policies. The results of the study indicate that although Indonesia has a minimum wage regulation, its implementation still faces significant challenges, particularly in ensuring fairness for informal sector and low-income workers. Factors such as regional economic inequality, inflation, and weak labor oversight often undermine the effectiveness of these policies. By revisiting the principles of Ibn Khaldun, this article offers the perspective that ideal wages should not only be measured by labor market needs but should also integrate principles of ethics, morality, and social responsibility. This integration is expected to strengthen worker welfare, increase national productivity, and maintain long-term economic stability. This study also provides a relevant philosophical framework for critiquing and reforming wage policies in Indonesia, with reference to the values of justice and welfare in classical Islamic economics.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of legal protection for victims of human trafficking in Indonesia, based on Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Human Trafficking. Legal protection for victims encompasses preventive measures, case handling, and the restoration of victims’ rights through available legal mechanisms. The focus of this research is to evaluate how far the existing regulations can provide comprehensive protection for victims—beginning from the victim identification process, through judicial proceedings, and continuing to social rehabilitation and reintegration into society. This study applies a normative juridical method that emphasizes legal norms and regulations in force. It also highlights the importance of synergy among law enforcement agencies, the government, and non-governmental organizations to ensure optimal protection for trafficking victims. The research identifies several challenges in the implementation of legal protection, such as limited human resources and inadequate facilities, lack of public legal awareness, and judicial processes that are often slow and unresponsive to victims’ needs. Another major obstacle is the lack of access to legal aid and recovery services, which are crucial for supporting victims’ reintegration and fulfillment of their human rights. This paper seeks to provide a clearer understanding of the current conditions regarding legal protection for human trafficking victims in Indonesia and to formulate recommendations for more effective and integrated policy improvements. Enhancing legal frameworks and improving inter-agency coordination are essential steps toward ensuring victims receive justice and the protection they are entitled to under human rights principles.

This research investigates English language teachers' perceptions and practices concerning technology integration within the Indonesian educational landscape. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study involved 120 English teachers from diverse educational levels, including primary, junior high, senior high, and higher education institutions. Participants completed an online survey, and a subset of 15 teachers was selected for follow-up interviews and classroom observations to provide deeper qualitative insights. The findings indicate a significant discrepancy between teachers’ generally positive attitudes toward the use of technology (mean score = 4.21 on a 5-point Likert scale) and the extent to which they actually implement technology in their teaching practices (mean score = 3.15). This gap suggests that favorable perceptions alone are not sufficient to ensure effective classroom integration. Through statistical analysis, four primary factors were identified as influencing technology integration. These include teachers’ digital competence (β = 0.43, p < 0.01), institutional support (β = 0.38, p < 0.01), pedagogical beliefs (β = 0.35, p < 0.01), and access to adequate infrastructure (β = 0.32, p < 0.01). These results highlight the multifaceted nature of technology integration, where both individual competencies and systemic support play crucial roles. Qualitative data further enrich the findings by illustrating the lived experiences of teachers. While educators recognize that technology can enhance student engagement, foster interactive and authentic language learning environments, and provide access to diverse resources, they encounter several challenges. These include difficulties in aligning digital tools with curricular goals, managing student behavior in tech-enhanced classrooms, and assessing learning outcomes effectively in digital contexts.

The global economic crisis has prompted developing countries, including the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), to strengthen cooperation in creating a multipolar economic order as a form of resistance to Western domination. Mass media plays a crucial role in framing this dynamic. This study aims to examine how The Jakarta Post constructs the BRICS narrative through three main dimensions in Vincent Mosco's Political Economy of Communication theory: commodification, spatialization, and structuring. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of documentation and analysis of news published in The Jakarta Post between June 18, 2024, and January 31, 2025. Data were categorized based on the type of information and main themes, then analyzed using Mosco's theoretical concepts. The results show that the commodification process occurs when geopolitical issues, such as Indonesia's opportunity to join BRICS, are transformed into media commodities appealing to elite readers and strategic economic actors. This practice also involves the contribution of experts, but often without equitable compensation. Spatialization is reflected in the real-time distribution of digital content that transcends geographical and temporal boundaries, strengthening the penetration of BRICS discourse into the international public sphere. Structuralization emerges in the narrative of building a new world order through BRICS agendas such as dedollarization, technological integration, and alternative payment systems, although it remains overshadowed by the dominance of Western financial institutions. Thus, media coverage not only represents geopolitical dynamics but also transforms strategic issues into information products with economic value, while revealing the tension between the aspirations of developing countries and established global hegemony.
