Social media has become one of the main media for distributing various advertising content in today's digital era. However, the spread of advertising content on social media also brings new challenges. Social media, especially TikTok, has a high virality rate, which means that content can spread quickly, both positively and negatively. The TikTok account @ngobrolsantaiindonesia uploaded a promotional advertisement for Borobudur Temple. The entire narrative in the advertising content openly alludes to other religions, namely Islam. This study uses a research approach in the form of a literature study or can be called library research. Indonesia has guidelines that must be respected, namely the Indonesian Advertising Ethics or abbreviated as EPI. The EPI contains a system of values and integrated guidelines for manners (code of conducts) and procedures (code of practices) that apply to all advertising actors in Indonesia. According to the Indonesian Advertising Ethics, advertisements must be honest, correct, and responsible. It was concluded that the violation committed by the TikTok account @ngobrolsantaiindonesia was offending SARA, more specifically other religions.

Law Number 1 Year 2023 on the Criminal Code (KUHP) is a form of national criminal law reform that recognises the existence of customary criminal law. However, it has not been regulated in detail how the implementation and position of customary criminal law as a reason for criminal prosecution, and there are fundamental differences between the two concepts of the legal system. The problems in this research are how the position between customary criminal law and national criminal law in the new Criminal Code, how the legal certainty of the regulation of customary criminal law in the new Criminal Code, and how the challenges in enforcing customary criminal law using the current criminal justice system in Indonesia. This research uses normative juridical method with regulatory and conceptual approaches. The results show that the applicability of customary criminal law is limited to the area where the law lives and applies to customary criminal acts committed in the area where the law lives. The position of customary criminal law can be valid as a reason for criminal prosecution if the customary law that is still alive in the community has been stipulated in the form of Regional Regulations, and customary offences that are similar to offences in the New Criminal Code will be ruled out, and the classification of customary sanctions as additional sanctions, positioning customary penalties to be complementary or secondary, because additional sanctions can only be imposed together with the main sanctions. Legal certainty towards the regulation of customary criminal law is highly dependent on the formulation of the elements of each offence of customary criminal law stipulated in regional regulations. The current criminal justice system in Indonesia (KUHAP) cannot realise the objectives of customary criminal law. The objectives, characteristics, and procedures in the concept of customary law are contrary to those in the criminal justice system. Restorative Justice can be utilised as an alternative to the settlement of customary criminal cases when the New Criminal Code comes into effect.

Abstract. The environment is not merely a legal object, but rather a living space for humans that is intertwined with the continuity of life itself. In this context, the criminalization of environmental crimes must be understood as an effort to uphold substantive justice, not merely the fulfillment of legal procedures. This article examines the comparison between the 2023 Criminal Code and Law No. 32 of 2009 (Environmental Protection and Management Law), as well as the alignment of both in responding to ecological crimes. With a normative juridical approach and philosophical analysis, a tension was found between the formalistic approach in the Criminal Code and the ecological approach in the Environmental Protection and Management Law. This inconsistency has the potential to obscure the substance of environmental justice. Therefore, a renewal of the penal paradigm that favors the intrinsic value of nature and the principle of sustainability is necessary.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are essential for improving the quality, efficiency, and continuity of healthcare services. Despite mandates requiring full implementation of EMRs in Indonesian healthcare facilities by the end of 2023, many hospitals continue to face challenges in achieving effective adoption. This study aims to analyze the implementation of EMRs in the outpatient services of Nur Hidayah Hospital, Yogyakarta, using the 5M framework: Man, Money, Machine, Materials, and Method. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving key informants from medical records staff, registration officers, and IT personnel. The findings revealed that while the availability of staff and supporting infrastructure such as computers and software was generally adequate, limitations persisted in human resource specialization, training access, and system integration. Financial planning for EMR-related needs was done through annual budgeting (RAB), but coordination between departments remained minimal. Key challenges included slow internet connectivity, limited IT staff, and lack of specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for EMR usage. Overall, the EMR system has been implemented in most outpatient units, yet not all units have fully transitioned due to technical and organizational barriers. This study concludes that optimizing EMR implementation requires not only technological readiness but also organizational alignment, continuous staff development, and robust inter-departmental coordination.

This study explores the complexity of ikrar talak (divorce declaration) that does not comply with Indonesia's positive legal framework and its impact on the legal protection of wives and children. Although the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) regulate the formal procedures for divorce, verbal divorce declarations outside the court remain prevalent, causing legal uncertainty and harm to vulnerable parties. This research employs a normative juridical method, focusing on legal statutes and Islamic legal principles. The findings reveal the urgent need for harmonization between Islamic law and positive law to ensure justice and optimal protection, especially for women and children. Major obstacles include low legal literacy, social acceptance of verbal talak, and limited access to judicial institutions. The study proposes strengthening the role of religious courts, enhancing public legal education, and applying the maqashid sharia approach to safeguard fundamental rights. A holistic legal reform is necessary to ensure that the ikrar talak process adheres to formal legal standards while protecting vulnerable groups.

The increasing number of motorcycle thefts in various regions indicates that conventional security systems are not yet fully effective in protecting vehicles, necessitating new technology-based innovations. This study discusses the planning and implementation of a motorcycle security system utilizing Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology as a more responsive and modern solution. The system is designed using a passive RFID tag placed on the motorcycle key, an RFID reader integrated with the motorcycle unit, and an Arduino microcontroller that functions to control the ignition system. With this combination, the motorcycle can only be activated if the appropriate tag is detected, while access attempts using an invalid tag or the loss of the tag will automatically disconnect the ignition system. Test results announced that tag recognition can be done very quickly, in less than a second, so as not to disrupt the user's comfort when starting the vehicle. In addition, this system is able to maintain consistent performance by providing an automatic response that supports advanced security. The implementation of this plan is expected to reduce motorcycle theft by providing an additional layer of security that is more difficult to penetrate than a manual key system. From the user's perspective, this technology remains practical because it does not require complicated procedures in its operation, simply by ensuring the appropriate RFID tag is attached to the motorcycle key. Overall, this research confirms that the application of Arduino microcontroller-based RFID technology can be an alternative, inexpensive, and applicable security system in everyday life. It is hoped that this system will not only improve protection for vehicle owners but also serve as a benchmark for the development of more sophisticated transportation security technologies in the future. Implementation of this system is expected to reduce motorcycle theft and provide a greater sense of security for vehicle owners.

This study examines the potential for digital branding transformation of Mitra Havana Sulung Mandiri, a construction service company in East Java, through the utilization of TikTok as a promotional platform. Using observations and interviews, the research identified strong visual content opportunities from the company’s activities, such as documenting construction progress, showcasing before-and-after project visuals, and sharing client testimonials. These elements offer significant storytelling potential for engaging online audiences. However, several internal barriers hinder optimal implementation. These include limited digital literacy among staff, inadequate content creation tools, and the absence of standardized procedures for producing and publishing content. Externally, skepticism toward social media marketing in the construction sector and the unpredictability of TikTok’s algorithm also create challenges. Thematic analysis revealed three primary needs: maximizing existing visual assets to create compelling narratives, enhancing internal capacity through targeted digital training, and developing a culture that supports continuous digital engagement. To address these, the study proposes an initial strategy involving educational content, behind-the-scenes videos, and a clear content production guide. In addition, it suggests forming a dedicated social media team, running a 30-day continuous content campaign, and collaborating with local creators to expand reach. These recommendations align with existing literature on the role of short-form video in increasing brand awareness, credibility, and trust in service-oriented industries. By integrating strategic content planning, capacity building, and consistent online engagement, construction SMEs can position themselves competitively in the evolving digital marketplace. The case of Mitra Havana Sulung Mandiri demonstrates that even in traditionally offline industries, leveraging TikTok can offer a pathway toward brand differentiation and long-term audience growth.

Aceh is a province with special status in Indonesia that has special authority in the imple- mentation of Islamic law, as stipulated in Law No. 11 of 2006 concerning the Government of Aceh. One form of its implementation is Qanun Aceh No. 6 of 2014 on Jinayat Law, which regulates a number of offences, including maisir (gambling), with penalties in the form of flogging, fines, or im- prisonment. This study aims to examine the application of flogging for gambling offenders in Simeulue Regency, covering the legal basis, implementation procedures, and level of effectiveness. The research questions include: (1) how flogging is applied to gambling offenders; (2) what are the stages of imple- mentation; and (3) to what extent is it effective in reducing violations. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a socio-legal approach. Data was obtained through literature review, field observation, and interviews with Satpol PP and Wilayatul Hisbah officials, the Sharia Court, the pros- ecutor's office, and community leaders. The findings show that the application of flogging punishment has a strong constitutional basis and is in accordance with the principles of Sharia law. The implemen- tation is carried out openly in accordance with criminal procedure law and is supervised by medical personnel. Statistics from the last five years show a decrease in gambling cases from 11 cases in 2020 to 3 cases in mid-2024, reflecting a deterrent effect and an increase in compliance.
