Background: Premarital sexual activity among adolescent girls constitutes a significant reproductive health issue, as it is linked to a higher likelihood of unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and negative psychosocial outcomes. Understanding the determinants of such behavior requires a contextual approach, particularly in Indonesia’s island regions, where social and cultural dynamics may differ. Objective: This research sought to identify determinants related to premarital sexual behavior among female students enrolled at State Senior High School 13 in Tidore Kepulauan City. Methods: A quantitative analytical approach employing a cross-sectional design was implemented. A total of 120 female adolescents were recruited using a simple random sampling technique. Data were obtained through structured self-administered questionnaires and statistically analyzed using the Chi-square test, with a significance threshold of 0.05. Results: The analysis demonstrated that reproductive health knowledge, attitudes toward premarital sexual activity, peer-related influence, and parental involvement showed significant associations with premarital sexual behavior (p < 0.05). Female adolescents who had inadequate knowledge, permissive attitudes, strong peer pressure, and limited parental support exhibited a greater tendency toward engaging in risky premarital sexual practices. Conclusion: Premarital sexual behavior among adolescent girls is influenced by a combination of personal and social determinants. Therefore, integrated promotive and preventive strategies involving both schools and families are essential to mitigate the risk of premarital sexual behavior among female adolescents.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a significant contribution to national economic growth and the smooth distribution of goods and services. However, market competition and national economic dynamics pose serious challenges to the sustainability of MSMEs, especially in terms of competitiveness and technological adaptation. The development of digitalization opens up great opportunities for MSMEs to increase production efficiency and expand marketing reach through online sales platforms. Unfortunately, the limited knowledge and skills of MSME actors in managing digital marketing strategies leads to low optimization of this potential. This research aims to examine the needs of MSME assistance in Bangsalsari Village, Jember Regency, in order to increase business capacity and digital marketing effectiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach through field observation and interviews with MSME actors. The results of the study show that structured and sustainable mentoring can increase business actors' understanding of digital strategies, expand market access, and encourage the creation of new jobs. Thus, technology-based assistance programs and local needs are strategic solutions in strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of MSMEs in the midst of national economic challenges.

The implementation of social welfare is a directed, integrated, and sustainable effort carried out by the government, local governments, and the community in the form of social services to meet the basic needs of citizens. Wonogiri Regency has stipulated Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Social Welfare as a form of commitment to improve social welfare in its area. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of these regulations using normative and empirical legal approaches, as well as qualitative descriptive analysis based on primary and secondary data. The results of the study show that although this Regional Regulation is an important instrument in the implementation of social welfare, it has not been able to answer all the dynamics and actual challenges. The channels, objectives, and benefits of the program have not been optimally accommodated, and there are weaknesses in the development of technical regulations that should be followed up through the Regent Regulation. With the age of seven years, this Regional Regulation is considered less relevant to current needs and needs to be updated to be able to accommodate social developments and ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of social welfare as a whole and sustainable in Wonogiri Regency.

Adolescence is an important period in which individuals experience various dynamics of change, both psychologically and biologically. In general, biological changes in this age group occur more rapidly than mental development. This phenomenon has contributed to the emergence of various problems, one of which is promiscuous behavior, which Indonesia is currently facing. The research conducted at SMAN 1 Krueng Barona Jaya aimed to analyze how health education can contribute to increasing adolescents' knowledge about the risks of promiscuity. This study was conducted on May 14, 2025, with a pre-experimental research design, using a One Group Pre-test Post-test design. A total of 44 students were selected as respondents through proportional sampling. The main measurement tool was a knowledge questionnaire used as a data collection instrument, while statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The pretest findings showed that 8 students (18.2%) were in the low knowledge category, 7 students (15.9%) were in the moderate knowledge category, and 29 students (65.9%) had good knowledge. In the post-test stage, there was a significant increase with 39 respondents (88.6%) in the good knowledge category and 5 respondents (11.4%) in the sufficient category. Health education was proven to have a significant impact on adolescents' knowledge about the dangers of promiscuity, as indicated by a p-value of 0.001. Through these findings, it is hoped that adolescents can be more proactive and responsible in obtaining accurate information about reproductive health, especially regarding the dangers of promiscuous behavior.

This study analyzes the dynamics of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) in the Indonesian banking sector by examining both internal and external factors affecting financial stability. The variables included in the research are NPL, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), lending interest rate, inflation, Household Debt to Income (HDTI), fintech lending, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Using annual secondary data from 2005 to 2024, sourced from the World Bank and Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the study employs a Vector Autoregression (VAR) method. This method includes stationarity tests, optimal lag selection, cointegration tests, Impulse Response Function (IRF), and Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD). The results show that most variables demonstrate a dominant contribution from their own shocks, although interactions between variables remain significant. The IRF analysis reveals that CAR and HDTI are relatively stable and quickly return to equilibrium, while fintech lending, inflation, and NPLs show more volatile responses, making them more susceptible to external shocks. LDR and lending interest rates are sensitive in the short term but tend to stabilize over the long run. FEVD further indicates that inflation plays a significant role in driving NPL variations, while fintech lending is closely associated with CAR in the long term. The study concludes that the stability of Indonesia’s banking sector is influenced by both internal factors like CAR and LDR, as well as external factors such as inflation, fintech lending, and household debt. Thus, a coordinated approach involving monetary policy, macroprudential measures, and financial supervision is crucial to enhance the resilience of the banking sector against global and domestic economic shifts.

This study analyzes the impact of urban sprawl on groundwater reserves in Kendari City using the platform Google Earth Engine (GEE) with analysis period of 2000 and 2024. Urban sprawl is characterized by an increase in built-up land area estimated through the Normalized Difference Built-Up Index (NDBI), while groundwater reserves are projected through estimated baseflow groundwater runoff obtained from FLDAS ( Famine Early Warning Systems Network Land Data Assimilation System ) data. The results show a significant increase in NDBI values from 2000 to 2024, indicating a massive expansion of built-up areas. Conversely, baseflow values have decreased consistently, with the average baseflow decreasing from 0.00002685 kg/m²/s (2000) to 0.00001894 kg/m²/s (2024), reflecting pressure on the aquifer system due to reduced infiltration areas. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant weak negative effect between NDBI and baseflow in 2000 (r = -0.219; p-value = 0), which changed to a weak positive effect in 2024 (r = 0.126; p-value = 0), indicating a shift in hydrological dynamics due to the accumulated impacts of urbanization. This finding confirms that urban sprawl has reduced groundwater recharge capacity and threatened the sustainability of clean water supplies. The study recommends the need for sustainable spatial planning policies and groundwater conservation strategies to mitigate these negative impacts.

This study aims to examine the relationship between paternal involvement and bullying victimization in Pharmacy students in West Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 320 respondents selected from various Pharmacy colleges in the region. The research instrument was independently developed by the researcher, with the paternal involvement scale compiled based on Lamb's (2010) theory which includes the dimensions of direct involvement, emotional availability, and paternal responsibility. Meanwhile, the scale of bullying victimization refers to the theory of Smith et al. (1999), which includes forms of physical, verbal, social, and cyber victimization. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson correlation technique, which showed a significant negative association between paternal involvement and bullying victimization (r = -0.728; p = 0.000). These findings indicate that the higher the level of father's involvement in a child's life, the lower the likelihood of the child experiencing bullying victimization. On the other hand, low involvement of fathers can increase the risk of students becoming victims of bullying. The results of this study make an important contribution to understanding the role of fathers as a protective factor against victimization behavior, as well as being the basis for the development of family interventions in the context of higher education. This research also opens up space for further studies on family dynamics and student mental health.

This research examines the influence of transactional leadership and the entrepreneurial competence of school principals on the effectiveness of education financing in primary and secondary education settings. Effective education financing is essential to ensure that limited resources are allocated optimally to improve learning quality, infrastructure, and institutional sustainability. Transactional leadership—marked by clear performance standards, reward and punishment mechanisms, and strict supervision—provides a structured framework for financial accountability and goal achievement. Entrepreneurial competence, on the other hand, equips principals with the ability to recognize funding opportunities, innovate in revenue generation, and manage financial risks. The study adopts a quantitative survey design involving school principals and financial management personnel from a representative sample of public and private schools. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed through multiple regression to measure the direct and combined effects of the two independent variables on education financing effectiveness. The findings reveal that both transactional leadership and entrepreneurial competence significantly and positively affect financial effectiveness. Transactional leadership strengthens transparency and budget discipline, while entrepreneurial competence fosters diversification of funding sources and innovative financial strategies. These results highlight the strategic importance of integrating leadership development with entrepreneurial training for school principals. Strengthening these competencies not only enhances financial planning and accountability but also reduces dependence on a single funding source, supporting long-term educational sustainability. Future studies are encouraged to explore additional mediating factors such as organizational culture, technological infrastructure, and community involvement to provide a more comprehensive understanding of education financing dynamics.

Traditional markets play a central role in the local economic system and the social life of communities, particularly in Medan City. However, the dynamics of urbanization, competition from modern retail, and changes in consumer behavior have posed significant challenges to their sustainability. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the strategic location of traditional markets and their economic performance using a mixed-methods approach and spatial analysis. The research focuses on six traditional markets in Medan City: Petisah Market, Sukaramai Market, Beruang Market, Ikan Lama Market, Sei Sikambing Market, and Pringgan Market. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed descriptively and correlationally, while qualitative data were gathered through field observations and in-depth interviews to interpret the socio-spatial context of each market. The key variables include accessibility, commodity diversity, and environmental comfort, which are linked to economic performance indicators such as visitor numbers, buyer loyalty, and sales stability. The results show that Petisah, Pringgan, and Ikan Lama Markets scored highest in these variables and demonstrated better economic performance. Correlation analysis identified commodity diversity as the most influential factor on economic performance, followed by environmental quality and accessibility. To strengthen the analysis, a SWOT model was also applied to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by traditional markets. This analysis reveals that the primary strengths of the markets lie in their location and social interaction, while the main challenges stem from a lack of modern management and pressure from digital markets. This study recommends development strategies based on local advantages, infrastructure modernization, market information digitalization, and cultural promotion as steps to sustainably enhance the competitiveness of traditional markets amid urban spatial changes.

This study aims to examine the correlation between loneliness and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among working mothers experiencing long-distance marriage (LDM) in West Sumatra, a population facing dual challenges of work responsibilities and limited spousal support. Loneliness, often triggered by the lack of emotional closeness and reduced social support, is hypothesized to significantly contribute to FoMO, particularly in the context of increased social media use. The research employed a quantitative correlational design with a sample of 385 working mothers selected through simple random sampling. Data collection utilized the FoMO scale developed by Kurniawan and Utami (2022) and a loneliness scale designed by the researcher based on Russell’s (1996) dimensions. Data analysis used the Pearson product moment correlation test after ensuring normality and linearity assumptions were met. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation between loneliness and FoMO (r = 0.649, p < 0.05). This indicates that higher levels of loneliness are associated with greater FoMO tendencies among working mothers living apart from their spouses. The study highlights how psychological vulnerabilities related to marital separation and dual roles increase susceptibility to FoMO. These results underscore the importance of providing psychosocial support, strengthening marital communication, and promoting digital literacy to reduce FoMO risks. This research contributes to understanding the psychosocial dynamics of working mothers in LDM contexts and can serve as a basis for preventive interventions to enhance mental well-being.
