Sedayu Village, located in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency, has abundant natural resource potential. The majority of people develop various kinds of plants and trees to be used as business fields, one of which is bamboo. Bamboo as an abundant and easily renewable natural resource has great potential to be developed as a raw material for making environmentally friendly products. In addition to looking at the characteristics of bamboo both physically and mechanically, this bamboo has good quality to be applied as a raw material for crafts such as dustbin. This research aims to explore the potential of bamboo as a raw material for making dustbin in Sedayu Village with a focus on the advantages, manufacturing process and implementation strategy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that focuses on getting an overview of local conditions. Meanwhile, data collection is carried out by participatory observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that bamboo has strength and rigidity that exceeds other materials, making it a good structural choice for construction. This research discusses the use of bamboo as a raw material for making dustbin in Sedayu Village. The advantage of bamboo dustbin is its strength. In addition to being able to last a long time outdoors, bamboo also has aesthetic elements, namely its characteristics that are very suitable for rural environments and contain local traditional values that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Making environmentally friendly biopores and domestic incinerators is one method of waste management that can be used to overcome waste problems, both organic and non-organic waste management. This article discusses innovations in waste management in Tembokrejo, Pasuruan City through the use of environmentally friendly Biopores and Domestic Incinerators to overcome the waste problem in the subdistrict of Tembokrejo. Waste is one of the problems that until now has not been resolved properly. So an effective waste management strategy is   needed to avoid environmental pollution. The use of biopores and environmentally friendly domestic incinerators is one of the waste management techniques. By using organic waste for biopores and an environmentally friendly Domestic Incinerator for burning non-organic waste with minimal smoke so it doesn't pollute the environment. . The method used in this service activity consists of four stages, namely Observation, Preparation, Implementation, Evaluation. The result of this service is a change in people's attitudes and behavior towards waste management through the innovation of using Biopores and Domestic Incinerators so that they are starting to be interested in using this innovation to make the sub-district of Batasrejo free from the difficulties of waste management.

Harjowinangun Timur Village is a village located in Tersono District, Batang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Harjowinangun Timur Village has a livelihood in agriculture and the majority of the people of Harjowinangun Timur Village work as farmers, farm laborers, and factory workers. Waste is one of the problems that occurs in Harjowinangun Timur Village. Waste is something that cannot be avoided and is difficult to solve, in an effort to reduce the waste population, the first thing to do is to increase public awareness about the dangers of waste. Therefore, the UIN Walisongo Religious Moderation Community Service (KKN) group has one work program that has urgency regarding this problem, namely conducting socialization of waste and the impact of waste on the environment to create a clean and healthy environment. With the socialization program of waste and the impact of waste on the environment to create a clean and healthy environment in Harjowinangun Timur Village, it is hoped that the environmental conditions of Harjowinangun Timur Village will improve and can overcome the waste problem in Harjowinangun Timur Village

This research aims to evaluate the use of organic waste as biowash by PKK members in the village and to find factors that support and hinder the implementation of the program. This research was conducted qualitatively with a descriptive case study approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. Research shows that the success of the program is greatly influenced by the level of knowledge of PKK cadres regarding organic waste management. While limited tools and lack of community awareness are obstacles that need to be overcome, an effective training process and support from the village government are the main supporting factors. This research found that this program not only benefits the environment, but can also improve the local economy. The results also show that this program can be used as a model for other villages.

The waste phenomenon in West Pasaman Regency continues to increase along with the growing population In this regard, the West Pasaman Regency Government has issued Regional Regulation Number 44 of 2019 regarding Household Waste Management and Similar Household Waste in the Nagari to demonstrate concern for waste management and reduce waste spread The goal is to analyze how the implementation of this regulation is carried out. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews  and documentation, as well as using miles and huberman interaktif data analysis techniques. The findings of this research, which is analyzed with the Edward III implementation model, namely Communication, Resources, Disposition, Bureaucratic Structure, show that the implementation of Regent Regulation Number 44 of 2019 has not run optimally. This is because in terms of communication, it has not been carried out optimally due to the lack of socialization and communication to the Nagari. In terms of resources, human resources are still very lacking in terms of quantity and quality and training to improve human resources is also absent. The limited budget and also a decline have caused various problems such as the procurement and maintenance of infrastructure facilities to be hampered. And the facilities and infrastructure owned by DLH are still inadequate. Disposition/Attitude of the Implementer has not been optimal, the commitment of the Environment Agency and the Nagari Government and the lack of public awareness and understanding in managing household waste in accordance with existing regulations.The Bureaucratic Structure already has SOPs, but its implementation in the field is sometimes not in accordance with SOPs because infrastructure is inadequate and often damaged and the Nagari Government has not carried out its duties and functions as stipulated in Regent Regulation Number 44 of 2019. The inhibiting factors consist of budget limitations, limited human resources, lack of awareness and community participation.

Public service is one of the most visible benchmarks of government performance. This breakthrough was made by the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service in waste disposal services. Analysis of the level of public satisfaction with waste disposal services carried out by the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service has not been carried out periodically. Public satisfaction that affects the quality of service provided by the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service is an interesting thing to study, because it intends to find out more about public satisfaction with waste disposal services by the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive which aims to describe the level of public satisfaction with waste disposal services. This research was conducted at the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service with 70 respondents using a research sample. The data collection techniques and instruments used were questionnaires and observations. Based on the results of research conducted at the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service on public satisfaction with waste disposal services in 2022, it can be concluded that the average value of the 9 (nine) indicators of the Public Satisfaction Index consisting of Requirements, Systems, Mechanisms, and Procedures, Completion Time, Costs/Tariffs, Product Specifications Types of Services, Implementer Competence, Infrastructure, and Complaint Management, Suggestions and Input is in the interval of 3.5324-4.00, then based on table 2.1 perception value, the interval value From the conversion interval value, service quality and quality performance are included in the category of quality value A which means that the service performance of the waste disposal section of the Purworejo Regency Environmental Service is considered very good. Although of the 9 indicators of the public satisfaction index towards waste disposal services by the Environmental Agency, all are included in the category of value A which means very good, there is an indicator that has the highest quality value, namely Implementer Behavior. indicator with a quality value of 3.69 and the lowest value is the Cost/Tariff indicator with a quality value of 3.54.

Sudipayung Village, Ngampel District, Kendal Regency, is an area with a growing agricultural sector, particularly in rice and tobacco production. The need for fertilizers that support agriculture is crucial, while household waste management has become a significant issue. This article discusses training on making organic compost as an effort to improve the community's economy through the management of organic waste. The training, which involves members of the local women's group (PKK), uses a simple decomposition method with ingredients such as shrimp paste and palm sugar as substitutes for EM-4. The resulting compost helps improve soil fertility, reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers, and create a greener and healthier environment. Additionally, this program contributes to reducing the volume of waste sent to the final disposal site (TPA), thus supporting environmental cleanliness. This training provides a double positive impact: increasing community knowledge about recycling waste and offering economic opportunities through the production of organic fertilizers.

The research aims to examine the relationship and impact between soft skills (independent variable) and the quality of accounting profits (dependent variable) by surveying the opinions of accountants in several industrial companies in Nineveh Province. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was distributed to a randomly selected sample of 31 respondents. The research employed a descriptive-analytical methodology to address the research hypotheses and derive conclusions. The study reached several key conclusions, notably that soft skills enhance creativity, innovation, organizational abilities, and problem-solving capabilities within organizations. These skills and attributes are crucial for addressing complex tasks within the organization to ensure both individual and organizational success in a dynamic environment. The research also provided several recommendations, including the assertion that relying on soft skills contributes to the quality of accounting profits. This is achieved by producing reports that include adequate information on cost management for sustainable development, adherence to environmental regulations, effective investment planning, optimal resource and energy utilization, and waste management and reporting to stakeholders and the community.

This Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to increase awareness and knowledge among the residents of Manis Jaya Village, Tangerang City, about the importance of maintaining Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Through a counseling session conducted by the Integrated KKN team of Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, residents were encouraged to understand and apply PHBS practices, such as handwashing with soap, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and consuming healthy food. The results showed a significant increase in the residents' knowledge and healthy behaviors, although challenges like limited access to clean water and waste management facilities remain. The discussion emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, the community, and educational institutions to ensure the sustainability of PHBS implementation. This program is expected to serve as a model for similar activities in other areas with comparable social and economic conditions. Continuous implementation and adequate infrastructure support are key to long-term success.

The problem of plastic waste in Indonesia has become an increasingly urgent issue to be addressed. One of the areas facing serious waste management challenges is Bendelan Village in Binakal District, Bondowoso Regency. The lack of waste processing facilities and community awareness are key factors exacerbating the situation. Through a community service program, efforts were made to introduce and utilize ecobricks as a solution for managing plastic waste. This program involved PKK cadres in the socialization and creation of ecobricks. The outcome of this program was the creation of 20 ecobrick bottles, reflecting active community participation in the Plastic Exchange movement. This initiative is expected to be sustainable and contribute positively to creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

Processing used cooking oil into aroma candles is an innovation that provides a sustainable business solution for rural areas. Used cooking oil, usually considered household waste, can be converted into economically valuable products such as aroma candles. The process involves filtering, refining, mixing with ingredients such as stearin, colorants, and fragrances, and forming candles in various shapes and attractive scents. In addition to increasing the economic value of the village community, this business also reduces used cooking oil waste that can pollute the environment. With small capital and simple technology, this process can empower villagers, create employment opportunities, increase income, and support environmentally friendly practices. Training and education programs on entrepreneurship and waste management can also grow the business, strengthen the local economy, and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.

As people's consumption levels increase, the plastic waste produced will also increase. It's normal if in the future it becomes a serious environmental problem. We need a technology that is able to replace plastic waste into products that have a long life so that they do not return to waste in a short time. Making paving block products from plastic waste is another way of utilizing plastic waste over a long period of time, in order to increase utilization efficiency and reduce the environmental burden on plastic waste and form innovative products into building materials. The most important problem with plastic is plastic waste which cannot be decomposed naturally. Cleaning up plastic waste takes a very long time, and also the use of plastic can hardly be regulated. Based on the results of surveys, interviews and observations conducted on the community around Kuala Village, the community's awareness of waste processing is very minimal and there are lots of piles of plastic waste which can have a negative impact on health and disrupt the preservation of environmental functions, including residential environments, forests, rice fields, and rivers. To reduce the volume of plastic waste that is not managed properly, efforts are being made to utilize plastic waste to make paving blocks in Kuala Lemang Village. to explore the potential for using plastic waste as an alternative material in making environmentally friendly and sustainable paving blocks. Plastic waste collected from the surrounding environment is processed into mixed materials in making paving blocks. This process involves chopping, mixing with conventional materials such as sand, and testing the strength of the final product. Public acceptance of plastic-based paving blocks has proven positive, especially after trials in the local environment. This research contributes to better plastic waste management and offers new economic opportunities in the construction sector, while supporting sustainable development.

Plastic waste is a common problem in all regions of Indonesia. As one of the largest contributors to plastic waste in the world, Indonesia faces a major challenge in plastic waste management. One creative solution that is gaining popularity is ecobricking, an environmentally friendly plastic waste management technique that turns plastic waste into strong and durable “bricks”. This research uses a qualitative method in the process, where data is taken through direct observation in the Rejosari village environment, experiment, as well as literature studies from books, journal articles, and other archives. Through the KKN work program, 84 ecobricks were successfully made by collecting plastic waste from grocery stores, food stalls, and markets. Approximately 7 kg of plastic waste has been absorbed for the needs of ecobricking. Overall, ecobricks have great potential in reducing plastic waste, increasing community awareness of the importance of waste management, as an environmental conservation effort, while supporting local economic empowerment.

Nolokerto Village is a developing village and most of the businesses owned by the village, one of which is a catering business, produce a lot of organic waste that has a high water content, especially those that are easily decomposed. Unmanaged organic waste can cause environmental problems. Realizing the importance of effective waste management, KKN UIN Walisongo Semarang students held counseling and compost training activities so that food waste can be processed and reused. The program began with general materials on waste, followed by training on compost fertilizer for organic waste. The resulting compost fertilizer is then distributed to villagers to support agriculture and reduce the environmental impact of organic waste.

The waste management campaign program at SMAS Nasional Bandung is an initiative to introduce and improve students' understanding of how threatening the climate crisis is that is still happening. Through various activities such as workshops, discussions, and practices. These activities aim to provide insight into environmental issues in achieving a holistic understanding of the importance of waste management. The amount of waste and residual materials produced by human enrichment increases every year along with the increasing population. Empowering household units in managing domestic organic waste has the potential to reduce organic waste, including food waste. In addition to disposing of household organic waste, it can also be used as raw material for making compost. The purpose of this community service activity is to demonstrate liquid organic fertilizer production techniques to the local community and increase public awareness of the benefits of household waste processing. This activity was attended by 20 people from household representatives in Banteng Village, Tersono District, Batang Regency. The demonstration service method implemented was considered effective in terms of the interest and level of innovation of the community in utilizing empty land as a follow-up to making liquid organic fertilizer independently.

The aim of this activity is to foster sensitivity, awareness, concern and creativity to use and process waste as best as possible. This activity produces benches and tables that can be used by students in the reading garden at SDN 026 Rambah Samo.

Textile waste is one of the 2nd largest types of waste in the world. The increasing amount of textile waste will have an impact on the environment. There has not been much development of clothing with Zero Waste techniques in Indonesia, and students as social beings also play an important role in environmental renewal through waste reduction. The purpose of this research is to understand the level of knowledge of fashion students about Zero Waste Pattern based on the level of cognitive knowledge, namely knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative with one variable, namely knowledge about Zero Waste Pattern. The research sample was 78 respondents of active Fashion Cosmetology students of the Family Welfare Education Study Program at Padang State University, class of 2019-2022. Data collection using a questionnaire with the Gutman Scale. The results showed that the knowledge of fashion students about Zero Waste Pattern was measured based on six knowledge indicators, namely: knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The results showed that the Knowledge Indicator percentage was 56.41%, the Understanding Indicator percentage was 62.82% (high category), the Application Indicator percentage was 64.10%, the Analysis Indicator percentage was 57.69%, the Synthesis Indicator percentage was 80.77% and the Evaluation Indicator percentage was 74.36%. So, it can be concluded that the Fashion Management Students' Knowledge of Zero Waste Pattern is at a “high” level with an average percentage of 79.49%.

The cleanliness of the environment plays a crucial role in the welfare of the community. However, the plastic waste problem remains a serious challenge in Sungai Undan Village, Reteh District. This article examines the potential of ecobrick utilization as a solution for reducing plastic waste, focusing on the development of community-based waste management facilities. This program aims to educate the community about the importance of waste management through ecobrick methods and the creation of organic and inorganic waste bins, in order to create a cleaner and healthier environment. The results show that through ecobrick utilization and the provision of separate organic-inorganic waste bins, the community is able to contribute significantly to environmental cleanliness. Sungai Undan Village can thus serve as a model for sustainable waste management.

Waste is a serious problem in Indonesia, including in Medan Belawan Regency. The Waste Bank Program is presented as a solution for waste management and community economic empowerment. This study aims to determine the role of the Waste Bank in community income. The research method used is descriptive statistics presented in the form of frequency distribution tables, histograms, steam and leaf (stem and leaf diagrams) or box plots (box line diagrams). Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis. The Waste Bank Program in Medan Belawan Regency has provided economic, social and environmental benefits. Economic benefits include increasing community income, creating jobs, and saving waste transportation costs. Social benefits include increasing public awareness of the importance of good waste management, and increasing public concern for the environment. Environmental benefits include reducing rubber production, reducing environmental pollution, and preserving natural resources. The Waste Bank Program in Medan Belawan Regency is one example of the application of an effective and sustainable green economy concept. This program can be a model for other waste management programs in Indonesia.
