This study aims to analyze the influence of working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership on the profitability of consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period, while also examining company size as a moderating variable. The consumer goods sector, which has a large market potential in Indonesia, makes it essential to understand how these financial aspects affect company performance. Working capital management plays a crucial role in maintaining liquidity and operational efficiency, leverage determines the extent to which companies rely on debt financing, and institutional ownership reflects external monitoring that can drive managerial discipline. Company size is considered a moderating factor that could strengthen or weaken these relationships, especially in influencing profitability levels. Using a quantitative approach, the research findings reveal that each of the main variables—working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership—partially and significantly affects profitability. More specifically, company size is found to moderate the effect of leverage on profitability, indicating that larger firms may be better positioned to optimize debt usage compared to smaller firms. This study not only provides empirical evidence regarding financial determinants of profitability but also enriches the discussion on how moderating factors such as firm size can influence the dynamics of corporate financial performance. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for stakeholders, including managers seeking to optimize financial policies, investors evaluating company performance, and academics or researchers interested in exploring further implications for corporate governance and financial strategy in emerging markets like Indonesia. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of managing financial variables strategically to sustain profitability in the highly competitive consumer goods industry.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death globally, with type 2 diabetes being one of the most prevalent conditions. Nutritional management for clients with type 2 diabetes requires strict adherence to the correct schedule, type, and quantity of food. To improve medication adherence, it is essential to implement preventive strategies that promote patient engagement and self-management. One such strategy is the Health Belief Model (HBM), which encourages patients to adopt healthy behaviors based on their perceptions of risk, severity, benefits, and barriers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the Health Belief Model and medication adherence among type 2 diabetic patients in the Galala Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area. A quantitative cross-sectional study design was used, with a sample size of 108 participants selected through simple random sampling. The independent variables in this study were perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, and cues to action, while the dependent variable was medication adherence. The results revealed significant relationships between all the HBM constructs and medication adherence. Specifically, perceived susceptibility (p=0.000), perceived severity (p=0.000), perceived benefits (p=0.000), perceived barriers (p=0.000), and cues to action (p=0.000) all had strong associations with adherence to medication. The findings suggest that the Health Belief Model is a valuable framework for improving medication adherence among type 2 diabetes patients. Additionally, the use of health information technology is an effective strategy to increase patient awareness of the risks of non-adherence and the importance of regular medication intake. A combination of education, social support, technology, and an individualized approach can create a supportive environment that encourages patients to manage their treatment effectively.

This study aims to describe the dynamics of school leadership at a primary school affected by limited leadership experience and health-related constraints. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with several teachers, the findings reveal that the principal adopts a situational leadership style characterized by flexible and delegative practices. The principal places significant trust in senior teachers to carry out daily operational functions and decision-making processes. While this strategy fosters teacher autonomy and ensures the continuity of school activities, it also reveals weaknesses in supervision, quality control, and the symbolic presence of leadership. The lack of direct supervision results in unclear performance evaluations and weak program coordination. The study concludes that the effectiveness of situational leadership relies heavily on the strength of interpersonal relationships among staff and the existence of supportive internal systems. It is recommended that the principal strengthen the management team and establish a more structured communication system to sustain leadership quality and educational standards.

This study examines the role of character-based assessment of independence in improving problem-solving skills in elementary school students. Character-based assessment of independence assesses students' learning process, not just academic results, with a focus on developing values of independence such as responsibility, initiative, and self-management skills. Through this approach, students are trained to face challenges independently, manage time, and find solutions creatively. Literature review shows a positive relationship between the level of student independence and increased problem-solving skills. However, the implementation of this assessment faces challenges such as lack of teacher understanding, time constraints, and system support. Nevertheless, character-based assessment of independence remains relevant and needs to be implemented more widely with training support for teachers, the use of technology in assessment, and synergy between schools, parents, and communities. The results of this study suggest that independence assessment should be an integral part of learning practices to create a generation of independent and solution-oriented learners.

. The Framingham Risk Score (FRS) assesses coronary heart disease (CHD) risk and predicts acute coronary events. Metabolic markers like LDL cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, uric acid, triglycerides, and TG/HDL ratio play critical roles in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular risk. Elevated LDL cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, and uric acid contribute to plaque formation, inflammation, and vascular damage, while high triglycerides and low HDL cholesterol exacerbate atherogenesis. This study explores the relationship between these markers and FRS to enhance CHD risk prediction and support targeted cardiovascular interventions. This study analyzed LDL cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, uric acid, triglycerides, and TG/HDL ratio with Framingham Risk Score in 85 participants, excluding those with incomplete data or chronic illnesses. The analysis found significant correlations between metabolic parameters and the 10-year myocardial infarction risk. LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and uric acid showed moderate positive associations with cardiovascular outcomes, while the triglyceride-to-HDL ratio and fasting blood glucose had weaker but significant correlations. These findings highlight lipid profiles and metabolic markers as key contributors to cardiovascular risk. This study highlights significant correlations between LDL cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, uric acid, triglycerides, and the triglyceride/HDL ratio with 10-year cardiovascular risk. These findings emphasize the importance of lipid profiles, glycemic control, and metabolic markers in predicting coronary outcomes and guiding targeted preventive interventions for improved cardiovascular risk management.
