This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of knowledge and awareness on motorcycle riders' safety behavior (safety riding), particularly among online motorcycle taxi drivers. In the context of increasing traffic accidents, understanding the factors influencing riders' compliance with safety regulations is crucial. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method and was conducted from January to April 2025. A total of 15 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2025 were systematically reviewed from credible databases such as Google Scholar, CORE, and ScienceDirect. The analysis reveals that compliance with road safety regulations is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include the rider’s knowledge level, safety attitudes, age, and riding experience. External factors consist of law enforcement supervision, access to safety training, availability of protective gear, and social support from family and peers. Among these, knowledge and attitude are identified as the most influential aspects affecting safety compliance. Therefore, a comprehensive approach is needed, including continuous education, regular training, and collective awareness-raising to foster a safe riding culture. This study contributes to a better understanding of behavioral aspects related to road safety and serves as a foundation for the development of behavior-based transportation safety strategies

Smoking remains a major public health issue that is difficult to address, particularly among adolescents. The rising number of young smokers is a concerning issue due to the long-term detrimental consequences it poses, both in terms of health, social, and economic aspects. Adolescence is a period of identity exploration and challenges, and unfortunately, many young people fall into the habit of smoking. The community service conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Seram Bagian Barat on october 17, 2024, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and prevention efforts. The activity involved socialization, interactive discussions, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants' knowledge changes. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking. Additionally, interviews with participants revealed that peer influence and family environment played a significant role in influencing adolescent smoking behavior. These findings support Bandura's Social Learning Theory, which states that behavior is largely influenced by observation of one's social environment. Efforts to prevent smoking among adolescents need to involve active participation from families, schools, and communities.

Anemia during pregnancy remains a major public health concern and is commonly associated with iron deficiency. Iron (Fe) tablet supplementation is a key strategy to prevent anemia; however, adherence among pregnant women remains suboptimal. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family support and adherence to iron tablet consumption among second-trimester pregnant women in the working area of UPT Puskesmas Mandomai. A quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 30 pregnant women selected using total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire assessing respondents’ characteristics, family support, and adherence to iron tablet consumption. Univariate analysis was performed to describe variable distributions, while bivariate analysis was conducted using Kendall’s tau-b correlation test. The results showed that 50% of respondents were non-adherent to iron tablet consumption, and 50% reported receiving no family support. Bivariate analysis revealed a statistically significant and very strong association between family support and adherence to iron tablet consumption (τ = −0.928; p < 0.001). The negative correlation reflected the coding direction, indicating that better family support was associated with higher adherence. These findings suggest that family support plays an important role in promoting adherence to iron supplementation during pregnancy. Family-centered approaches in antenatal care may enhance adherence and contribute to the prevention of anemia among pregnant women.

This study investigates the effect of role stress and job resources on emotional exhaustion, with work-family conflict as a mediating variable among higher education personnel. Employing a quantitative research design with a causality analysis approach, data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The sample consisted of 200 educational staff at XYZ institution in Bogor Regency, including civil servants, permanent employees, and contract workers. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique with SmartPLS 3 software. The findings revealed that role stress has a positive and significant impact on emotional exhaustion, indicating that increased stress from role demands contributes to higher levels of emotional fatigue. Conversely, job resources were found to have no significant direct effect on emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, work-family conflict significantly mediated the relationship between role stress and emotional exhaustion, suggesting that stress from conflicting work and family demands intensifies emotional exhaustion. However, work-family conflict did not mediate the relationship between job resources and emotional exhaustion. These results emphasize the critical need for effective stress management strategies and support systems that can help reduce work-family conflict to maintain the emotional well-being of education personnel. This study contributes to understanding the psychological dynamics in the workplace and provides insight into improving employee resilience and productivity in educational institutions.

Background: Women's choice of long-term contraceptive methods (LTCM) is influenced by factors such as counseling, knowledge, and healthcare access. Midwife visits play a key role in providing information and guidance on family planning, including LTCMs like implants, IUDs, and sterilization. Previous studies have shown that healthcare provider interaction enhances awareness and decision-making regarding contraception. However, many women still face barriers, including misinformation, fear of side effects, and cultural beliefs. Understanding how midwife visits shape contraceptive choices is essential for improving maternal and child health outcomes, reducing unintended pregnancies, and supporting family planning programs. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the impact of midwife visits on women’s choice of LTCMs in the reproductive age group. Methods: A quantitative, observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted with 30 women who had received at least one midwife visit. Data were collected through structured interviews and family planning record reviews. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test examined the relationship between midwife visits and LTCM choices, with a significance level set at p < 0.05. Results: All participants received midwife visits. 20 (90%) chose LTCMs, while 10 (10%) opted for short-term methods. Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between midwife visits and LTCM choice (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Midwife visits significantly influence women’s choice of LTCMs, improving knowledge and decision-making. Strengthening midwife outreach can increase LTCM uptake and enhance family planning strategies.

Families with disabled members often face physical, emotional, social, and spiritual challenges. In this situation, the presence of Islamic religious instructors is essential to strengthen the mental and spiritual well-being of the family. This article aims to examine the strategic role of Islamic religious instructors in this context, an aspect that has not been widely studied before. Field research was conducted for two months, January–February 2025, at the Family Support Group in Wonosobo Regency, involving 27 respondents. The results of the study indicate that religious instructors have an important role in assisting families with disabilities. For this reason, a comprehensive and empathetic counseling strategy is needed, namely: an empathetic and conducive approach, a planned systematic approach, and a sustainable approach through networks. These three approaches are based on the principles of rahmatan lil 'alamin (compassion), wasathiyah (moderation), and participatory (involving the family as the subject). This article emphasizes the importance of the role of Islamic religious instructors, and recommends that the Ministry of Religion draft regulations that prioritize counseling services for families with disabilities.

Fish plays a vital role in early childhood development due to its high nutritional value, yet consumption among preschoolers in Indonesia remains low. This study explores the effectiveness of combining hypnoparenting and storytelling as a complementary nursing strategy to promote fish consumption in young children. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was used, involving 30 preschoolers divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received a four-week intervention integrating hypnoparenting and storytelling, while the control group received standard education. Dietary intake was assessed using a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Results showed a significant increase in fish consumption in the experimental group (p = 0.000), with no significant change in the control group (p = 0.102). The Mann-Whitney U test also confirmed a significant difference between the groups (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that integrating hypnoparenting and storytelling is an effective, family-centered complementary nursing approach to promote healthier eating habits. This innovative method offers potential in supporting preschool children’s nutrition and overall development through engaging and parent-involved strategies.

This meta-analysis systematically and comprehensively examines the structural and functional roles of the extended family in moderating the psychological impact of war trauma in the Middle East by compiling data from 47 independent studies involving 12,483 participants published between 2000 and 2023. An analytical approach using a random-effects model revealed that the presence and involvement of the extended family demonstrated a statistically significant moderating effect on the reduction of PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and depression, with an association strength of r = .42 (p < .001). Further meta-regression results indicated that support from the extended family contributed to a 37.8% reduction in PTSD symptoms (β = -.378, SE = .042, p < .001), a 29.4% decrease in anxiety levels (β = -.294, SE = .038, p < .001), and a 31.2% reduction in depressive symptoms (β = -.312, SE = .040, p < .001). Analysis of moderator variables showed that the protective effect of the extended family structure was more pronounced among children (r = .48) compared to the adult population (r = .38) and more salient among females (r = .45) than males (r = .39), indicating demographic sensitivity to the type of collective support received. Moreover, the high heterogeneity across studies (I² = 76.3%) indicated significant contextual and methodological diversity, though it did not obscure the core findings. These results contradict the theoretical emphasis advanced by Nakeyar and Frewen (2016) and Atallah (2017), who prioritized the role of the nuclear family in post-war healing contexts. In contrast, this study found that the extended family configuration has provided a more comprehensive and multidimensional form of psychological protection rooted in the distinct collectivistic values of Middle Eastern societies. Ultimately, these findings expand the conceptual horizon for understanding resilience mechanisms to trauma within non-Western cultural landscapes and open new possibilities for developing extended family-based interventions in the context of post-conflict psychosocial reconstruction.

Final year students often experience difficulties in adapting to career and life demands, as well as maintaining their well-being. This study aims to examine the influence of social support and self-efficacy on life satisfaction and career adaptability among final-year students. Quantitative data were collected from 155 students in their final year of study and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that social support did not affect the career adaptability of final-year students. Conversely, self-efficacy had a positive effect on career adaptability. Social support was found to have a positive impact on students' life satisfaction. Students who received social support from family, friends, and educational institutions tended to have higher levels of life satisfaction. Self-efficacy also positively affected life satisfaction, indicating that high self-confidence enhances individual well-being. However, life satisfaction did not significantly influence career adaptability, suggesting that other factors such as work experience and environmental support play a more significant role. This study has several limitations, including a limited sample size and potential respondent bias. Future research should involve larger and more diverse samples and employ a variety of data collection methods. Educational institutions are encouraged to develop programs that enhance self-efficacy and social support to help students reach their full potential in their careers and personal lives.

Stunting remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia. One of the government’s efforts to address this problem is through the exclusive breastfeeding program. However, the achievement of this program is still below expectations. This community service activity was conducted at the Langkak Village Hall, Kuala Pesisir District, Nagan Raya Regency, using lectures and discussions as methods. The participants consisted of 27 individuals, including pregnant women and mothers with toddlers. The activity took place on Thursday, August 8, 2024, for a duration of 90 minutes, and was attended by 17 participants. During the discussion/Q&A session, seven participants actively asked questions related to exclusive breastfeeding and shared the challenges they encountered in practicing it. The results indicated the need for a more structured strategy to enhance understanding and implementation of exclusive breastfeeding within the community. One proposed strategy is the establishment of the “Family Loves Baby” class, based on a SWOT analysis approach. This class would involve one family member from each household with an infant aged 0–6 months, serving as a support system for exclusive breastfeeding. Additionally, Posyandu cadres are expected to play an active role in providing education and raising awareness among mothers, families, and the broader community about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding to prevent stunting. This approach is expected to serve as a concrete step in supporting the government’s program to reduce stunting rates in the region.
