Company value is an important indicator that reflects company performance and investor perceptions of future business prospects and sustainability. Various strategic decisions made by management, such as capital intensity management, investment decisions, and tax aggressiveness policies, play a significant role in shaping company value. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of capital intensity, investment decisions, and tax aggressiveness on company value through a literature review approach. The method used is a literature review by examining various relevant national and international scientific articles obtained from academic databases such as Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and SINTA. The results of the study show that capital intensity has a positive effect on company value because it reflects long-term production capacity and operational efficiency. Investment decisions have also been proven to have a positive effect on company value because they signal management's optimism about future growth prospects. Meanwhile, tax aggressiveness can increase company value through tax savings and increased cash flow, but it has the potential to cause reputational and governance risks if done excessively. Overall, the reviewed literature shows that these three variables have an impact on company value, with the caveat that optimal and transparent management is necessary. This study is expected to serve as a reference for further research and as a consideration for company management and investors in making strategic decisions.

Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality in everyday musical practice constitute the main analytical framework of this study. This research departs from the view that musical professions are often reduced to hobby-based activities, whereas in practice they involve work strategies, professional attitudes, and negotiation between artistic idealism and market demands. This study employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with two musicians in the city of Solo, Aditya Ong and Indra Permana, who represent different backgrounds, professional roles, and musical orientations. The findings indicate that modality comprising experience, musical skills, and professional networks forms the foundation of musicians’ professionalism. Professionalism is reflected not only in technical competence, but also in work ethics, responsibility, and the ability to position oneself within various musical work contexts. Work quality is not understood normatively as good or bad, but as the outcome of how musicians manage their modality and professionalism in specific working situations. This study concludes that musical practice in Solo is shaped through continuous negotiation between artistic orientation, market demands, and the pursuit of livelihood stability. Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality are interconnected in forming musicians’ strategies to sustain their musical practices amid the dynamics of the local music industry.

This study aims to analyze the interrelationship between profitability, capital structure, firm size, and tax avoidance. It employs a descriptive analysis method combined with a literature review approach. The study draws upon various prior empirical studies indexed in Sinta 2 and Scopus Q2 from the period 2021–2024, as well as relevant secondary data sources. This approach is intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing firms’ propensity to engage in tax avoidance practices. The results of the literature review indicate that there is a relationship between firms’ tendency to engage in tax avoidance and profitability, capital structure, and firm size. Higher profitability leads to increased tax burdens, thereby encouraging management to implement tax planning strategies in an effort to reduce the tax liabilities that must be settled. Furthermore, firms with higher proportions of debt and equity tend to have greater flexibility in managing their financial policies, which may influence their tax strategies. In addition, larger firms typically possess greater resources and broader access to professional expertise, enabling them to better identify and exploit opportunities for tax avoidance in order to maintain cash flow stability. It is expected that this study will contribute theoretically to the development of the literature on taxation and corporate finance. Moreover, the findings are anticipated to serve as a consideration for regulators in formulating more effective tax supervision policies.

Corporate financial performance is an important factor in maintaining business sustainability amid increasingly intense competition. One of the commonly used indicators of financial performance is Return on Assets (ROA), which reflects a company’s ability to generate profits through the efficient use of its assets. Corporate profitability is influenced by various internal factors, including capital structure and liquidity. This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) on Return on Assets (ROA). This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from corporate financial statements. The research sample consists of 36 observations selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results show that, partially, the Debt to Equity Ratio does not have a significant effect on Return on Assets, while the Current Ratio has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets. Simultaneously, Debt to Equity Ratio and Current Ratio have a significant effect on Return on Assets, with Current Ratio being the most dominant variable. The findings indicate that effective liquidity management plays a crucial role in improving corporate profitability. The implications of this study are expected to provide useful insights for corporate management in making financial decisions, particularly related to liquidity management and capital structure.

User experience (UX) evaluation plays a crucial role in understanding how users interact with digital platforms and in improving product design. Traditional UX evaluation methods, such as surveys and interaction logs, often rely on a single data source, which limits the depth of analysis. This study explores the integration of multimodal data processing techniques in UX research, aiming to enhance the accuracy and comprehensiveness of UX evaluations. By combining interaction logs, visual attention data, and physiological measurements, this approach provides a more holistic understanding of user behavior, emotional responses, and satisfaction. Interaction logs offer objective data on user actions, while eye-tracking and physiological data capture users' emotional states, providing richer insights into usability and user experience. This study highlights the effectiveness of multimodal integration in identifying patterns that traditional methods overlook, such as emotional responses to interface elements and real-time feedback from users. The findings reveal that multimodal data processing improves the precision of UX assessment by combining objective behaviors with subjective emotional responses, offering a more complete view of user interactions. The study also discusses the challenges of data synchronization and the potential ethical concerns related to the use of physiological data. The integration of these data sources shows great potential for enhancing the design process, allowing designers to make informed decisions based on comprehensive insights. Finally, this research underscores the future potential of multimodal analytics in UX research, suggesting further exploration of additional data modalities and real-time applications in various digital environments.

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) is responsible for overseeing Indonesia's capital market, and this paper outlines its functions and powers. In order to promote financial system stability, safeguard the public interest, and boost the financial services industry's competitiveness, the OJK was founded to develop an integrated regulatory and supervisory structure. The OJK's responsibilities encompass policy formulation, business license issuance, oversight, inspection, law enforcement, and administrative penalties for infractions. Even though Indonesia's capital market has grown quickly, it still faces substantial obstacles like illicit investment and large losses from scandals and market manipulation, which emphasize the need for robust and independent oversight.

Postoperative pain is a common physiological response following surgical procedures, and its suboptimal management can have physiological and psychological effects, including sleep disturbances, decreased functional capacity, increased anxiety, and deterioration in quality of life. This scoping review aims to describe the empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of music therapy in reducing the intensity of postoperative pain in surgical patients. A systematic search was conducted through four major databases (ScienceDirect, PubMed, Neliti, and Google Scholar) using Boolean operators and keywords such as ‘postoperative pain,’ ‘music therapy,’ and ‘pain scale.’ Inclusion criteria included articles published in the last decade, in English or Indonesian, and available in full text format. In accordance with PRISMA-ScR guidelines, this review analysed 10 articles. The synthesis of results showed that music therapy consistently reduced pain intensity, anxiety, and analgesic requirements through mechanisms such as increased endorphin secretion, decreased stress hormone levels, and activation of the gate control theory. Typically administered for 15–30 minutes, music therapy is a safe, cost-effective, and patient-acceptable non-pharmacological modality. This intervention is recommended as an adjunct component in perioperative pain management in nursing practice, although further standardised research is needed to improve consistency.

Down Syndrome (DS) is a genetic disorder characterized by trisomy of chromosome 21 and is inherently associated with clinical manifestations such as hypotonia, joint laxity, and neuromuscular deficits, all of which collectively contribute to impaired postural control and balance. These balance impairments significantly affect the attainment of motor milestones, performance of daily activities, and increase the risk of falls. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of core stability training in improving balance among children with DS. A narrative review approach was employed by conducting a literature search across electronic databases including PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate. Inclusion criteria consisted of primary studies (RCTs, quasi-experimental designs) published within the last ten years (2015–2025) that examined core stability interventions targeting balance or postural control in children with DS. A review of 10 relevant studies demonstrated that core stability training, either as a standalone intervention or combined with other modalities (e.g., treadmill training or balance training), resulted in significant improvements in both static and dynamic balance. These improvements are facilitated through the strengthening of deep trunk muscles (such as the multifidus, transversus abdominis, and rectus abdominis), which play a crucial role in proximal stabilization and force transfer to the extremities. In conclusion, core stability training is an effective and recommended intervention modality within physiotherapy rehabilitation programs to enhance the quality of life and motor independence of children with Down Syndrome.

Aortic dissection is a cardiovascular emergency characterized by a tear in the aortic intima layer and the formation of a false lumen, posing risks of fatal complications such as rupture and organ malperfusion. Stanford type B dissections may be managed conservatively; however, complicated cases require intervention. Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) has emerged as the preferred modality, offering lower perioperative morbidity and mortality compared to open surgery. To report the first TEVAR procedure performed in Manado on a patient with Stanford type B aortic dissection, highlighting the technical approach, operative challenges, and clinical outcomes. A 62-year-old male with a history of hypertension and chronic chest pain was referred following a CT angiography that revealed a Stanford type B aortic dissection with an entry site in the proximal descending aorta. TEVAR was performed with stent-graft placement in zone 2 and a chimney graft to preserve perfusion of the left subclavian artery (LSA). Intraoperative aortography confirmed false lumen exclusion without endoleak. The patient showed significant clinical improvement and recovered without postoperative complications. The procedure was technically and clinically successful, with no major complications. Postoperative evaluation confirmed stable stent position and maintained LSA perfusion. This case demonstrates that TEVAR can be safely implemented in non-tertiary regional hospitals with thorough preparation. The first TEVAR procedure in Manado illustrates that this technique can be an effective solution for complicated type B aortic dissections. This experience marks a milestone in the development of endovascular services in resource-limited settings and may serve as a reference for similar institutions in Indonesia.

The culture of patronage is a key characteristic of Indonesian political dynamics, having developed from the pre-colonial era to the contemporary democratic era. Despite decentralization and political reforms in Indonesia, patronage practices persist through relationships between political elites, bureaucracy, business actors, and communities, particularly at the local level. This study analyzes patronage using Pierre Bourdieu's Social Practice Theory framework, which emphasizes the interaction between habitus, capital, and the arena as factors shaping social practices. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through desk studies, which allows researchers to examine various academic literature to build a comprehensive conceptual analysis. The research findings indicate that internalized political habitus, the accumulation of economic, social, cultural, and symbolic capital, and a competitive local political field are key elements in perpetuating patronage. Patronage is not merely a transactional political practice, but a social structure that is continuously reproduced and impacts the politicization of bureaucracy, the strengthening of oligarchy, power inequality, and the vulnerability of the poor to political manipulation. This research confirms that efforts to strengthen democracy in Indonesia require transformation of the political habitus of society, bureaucratic reform, and restrictions on the dominance of economic actors in the political arena to break the entrenched patron-client chain.

This study examines Pamungkas’s song “To the Bone” through the lens of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), focusing on the ideational, interpersonal, and textual metafunctions as proposed by M.A.K. Halliday. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research explores how the lyrics represent emotional depth, longing, and devotion through linguistic choices. The ideational metafunction reveals the representation of personal experiences and emotional states, as seen in the recurring mental processes that express desire and affection. The interpersonal metafunction highlights the close emotional relationship between the singer and the listener, employing personal pronouns, modality, and mood to convey sincerity, vulnerability, and affection. Meanwhile, the textual metafunction ensures cohesion and coherence through repetition, thematic structure, and parallelism, which emphasize the constancy of emotion and strengthen the lyrical unity. By uncovering these linguistic processes, this study demonstrates how “To the Bone” serves as a powerful medium of emotional expression, illustrating how language in music functions not only as art but also as a reflection of human intimacy and emotional truth.

This community service program aims to improve public literacy and awareness of the Islamic capital market through socialization and educational activities in Telaga Jernih Village, Secanggang District. Islamic financial literacy in rural areas remains relatively low due to limited access to information and education, leading people to prefer traditional investments such as livestock and plantations. The activity was carried out by the Community Service Program (KKN) team in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as the main speaker and the village government as a supporting partner. The methods used included observation, counseling, interactive discussions, and simple simulations of Islamic investment practices. The results revealed high enthusiasm among participants, reflected in their active engagement and significant improvement in understanding the concepts, principles, and products of Islamic investment. The community began to realize that Islamic capital market investments are not only halal and safe but also offer long-term economic benefits. This activity positively influenced the community’s mindset to view Islamic financial investment as a complementary form of traditional investment. The program also opened opportunities for forming a village-based Islamic investor community and establishing a financial literacy center as a follow-up initiative. Therefore, this program plays a vital role in strengthening Islamic financial inclusion in rural areas and serves as an initial step toward creating a financially literate, independent, and economically productive society.

The capital market plays a strategic role in supporting national economic growth through its function of raising funds and providing investment vehicles for the public. However, the integrity of the capital market is often threatened by the practice of insider trading, which involves securities transactions conducted using material, non-public information by certain parties for personal gain. This practice violates the principles of fairness and transparency and has the potential to harm public investors and undermine confidence in the capital market. This study aims to analyze the law enforcement mechanisms for insider trading in the Indonesian capital market and examine legal protection efforts for investors. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach through a literature review of laws and regulations, scientific journals, books, and publications from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results indicate that law enforcement against insider trading is carried out through mechanisms of supervision, investigation, and the imposition of administrative, civil, and criminal sanctions. However, the effectiveness of law enforcement still faces various challenges, particularly in proving the use of insider information and the complexity of transaction technology. Furthermore, insider trading negatively impacts investor confidence and capital market stability. Investor protection efforts are implemented through a preventative approach, including information disclosure, supervision, and investor education, as well as a repressive approach through legal sanctions, dispute resolution, and whistleblower protection. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of capital market law and practical recommendations for strengthening law enforcement and investor protection in Indonesia.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of capital structure and fixed asset turnover on return on assets (ROA) at PT Argo Pantes Tbk during the period 2013–2022. The research employs a quantitative method with a statistical analysis approach, using secondary data obtained from the company’s financial statements. The data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests, namely normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests, followed by multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is conducted through the coefficient of determination, partial statistical testing (t-test), and simultaneous statistical testing (F-test). The results indicate that capital structure has a significant effect on return on assets. This is evidenced by a t-value of 2.986, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.36462, and a significance level of 0.020, which is lower than 0.05. These findings suggest that an optimal capital structure plays an important role in improving the company’s profitability performance. Therefore, capital structure management should be considered a strategic factor by management in enhancing financial efficiency and overall corporate performance.
