This study describes the implementation of Field Work Lectures (KKL) in Muara Wahau Village, focusing on religious education, youth character building, and community economic and social empowerment. KKL students were directly involved in teaching at the TPQ (Islamic Religious Education Center), tutoring for elementary and kindergarten students, leadership development in junior and senior high schools, mentoring MSMEs, community service activities, group exercise, and family health data collection. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results showed that the KKL successfully improved the youth's Quran reading skills, understanding of religious values, discipline, leadership, and social awareness. Furthermore, economic and social empowerment through MSME mentoring and community activities strengthened community independence and synergy. Obstacles such as high rainfall and the absence of the village head were successfully overcome through intensive coordination and adjustments to the activity schedule. The KKL proved effective as a practical learning tool for students while also having a positive impact on the community.

Then, community service activities were carried out by lecturers, educational staff, and students of the Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Study Programs of the University of AKPRIND Indonesia to increase the knowledge of Erpat Leather owners and workers about 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). Erpat Leather needed training to improve the smoothness of the production process, work efficiency, and work safety. This training began with a discussion between the service team and the business owner, followed by field observations by the service team, and continued with suggestions for improvement to the owner and workers, and ended with the delivery of conclusions and a group photo. The implementation of 5S at Erpat Leather is carried out through five stages, namely, first, sorting goods that are still in use and those that are no longer used; second, arranging goods in the production area in an orderly manner; third, cleaning the work environment regularly; fourth, maintaining the work area to keep it clean; fifth, disciplining good work habits, and providing slogans that cultivate 5S. This activity is expected to increase Erpat Leather's competitiveness in the leather product market by improving the smoothness of the production process.

This study aims to examine and compare various findings from previous research on the effectiveness of online learning among university students in higher education settings in order to obtain a comprehensive general conclusion. The research method employed is a literature review using a content analysis approach of scholarly publications published between 2019 and 2025. The data sources include relevant national and international journal articles focusing on online learning in higher education. The results of the review indicate that the effectiveness of online learning is influenced by three interrelated main factors. Psychological factors include learning motivation, students’ perceptions of online learning, and the emotional conditions experienced during the learning process. Pedagogical factors encompass lecturers’ creativity in designing learning activities, the selection of appropriate teaching methods, and the use of interactive and varied learning media. Meanwhile, technical or environmental factors include the availability and ease of access to learning platforms, the quality of internet connectivity, and supportive learning environments. Online learning offers several positive impacts, such as flexibility in learning time, cost efficiency, and enhanced student experience in utilizing digital technology. However, it also has the potential to generate negative effects, including boredom, stress, and difficulties in understanding course material when technical barriers are not resolved and learning activities are monotonous. Therefore, optimal management of psychological, pedagogical, and technical factors is essential to improve the effectiveness of online learning for university students.

Adolescents are an age group that is vulnerable to reproductive health problems, including the risk of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and risky sexual behaviors, due to limited knowledge and psychosocial maturity. Schools have a strategic role in providing reproductive health education as a promotive and preventive effort. This counseling activity aimed to determine adolescents’ knowledge regarding the prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) among students at Parulian 3 School, Medan.This study employed a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The participants were all seventh-grade students who met the inclusion criteria. The intervention consisted of reproductive health education delivered through lectures, discussions, and visual media. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring knowledge and attitudes before and after the counseling session, and then analyzed descriptively by comparing pretest and posttest results. The results showed an increase in students’ knowledge and attitudes after receiving reproductive health education. The differences in scores before and after the intervention indicate that the counseling provided was effective in improving students’ understanding and fostering positive attitudes toward the prevention of STIs and risky sexual behaviors. Reproductive health education in the school setting is an effective effort to enhance adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes regarding reproductive health. Therefore, reproductive health education activities should be implemented continuously and integrated into school programs.

The goal of this community service (PkM) program is to provide Emotion Management training to the PKK mothers to enhance their understanding of the importance of self-compassion related to emotions, in order to support physical and mental health. The training includes relaxation techniques, effective communication, and problem-solving that help individuals manage their emotions in daily interactions. Relaxation techniques are used to improve subjective well-being and promote a healthy lifestyle that benefits both themselves and their environment. Most of the PKK mothers in RT.02/RW.05 of Kelurahan Gemah are housewives who face pressures from family and social environments. Emotional management is crucial to prevent negative impacts on mental health, which can affect both the family and the community. Therefore, the PkM team from the Faculty of Psychology conducts training to help the mothers manage their emotions. The training activities include lectures, storytelling, games, and discussions. As a result, there was a 40% improvement in their understanding of emotion management. Through this training, it is hoped that the mothers will find it easier to control their emotions, focus, and better understand themselves and their environment, thus enabling them to overcome challenges in their daily lives.  

This research aims to determine the extent to which interactive quizzes can help improve students' understanding of Economics lessons in the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on a Deep Learning approach implemented at SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta. The results show that quite a few students have difficulty grasping economic concepts. The lack of participation and learning motivation, combined with the dominance of the lecture method, makes the learning process tend to be one-way. Conversely, the application of digital technology by educators is still very limited. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data thru observation, interviews, and documentation. A total of five students from the eleventh grade were selected based on purposive sampling techniques who had already taken economics lessons. The results show that the quiz format contributes to increasing students' interest, attention, and participation due to the presence of visual elements, screen animation, and a game-like atmosphere. However, obstacles such as slow internet connectivity or a slightly longer completion time than estimated did arise, although they did not hinder overall learning activities. Essentially, implementing this type of quiz aligns with the direction of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes in-depth conceptual understanding while also encouraging self-study habits, training the ability to reflect on the material, and creating a classroom atmosphere that tends to be more dynamic.

Stunting remains one of the major chronic nutritional problems in Indonesia, including in Oesapa Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This condition is not only caused by inadequate nutritional intake but is also closely related to chronic infections resulting from poor hygiene and sanitation, particularly intestinal parasitic diseases. To reduce the risk of parasitic infections and improve children’s nutritional status, preventive efforts through education and health promotion are essential.This community service activity aimed to increase public awareness and knowledge, especially among parents and caregivers of stunted children, regarding the importance of maintaining hygiene and sanitation to prevent intestinal parasitic diseases. The methods used included participatory approaches such as interactive lectures, group discussions, and practical demonstrations of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), food hygiene, clean water management, and household waste disposal. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure changes in participants’ knowledge.The activities, carried out from May to September 2025 in Oesapa Village, showed a significant improvement in community understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices. Participants demonstrated greater commitment to maintaining environmental cleanliness and adopting healthier daily behaviors. Continuous educational efforts and multisectoral support are needed to help reduce the prevalence of stunting in the region

It is very important to teach young people to become entrepreneurs, especially in rural areas that have local economic potential but have not been properly managed. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the awareness, knowledge, and entrepreneurial skills of Karang Taruna youth in Sukatani Village, Banyuasin Regency. The community service program was designed using a participatory approach, which included entrepreneurship workshops, digital marketing training, identifying business opportunities based on local resources, and obtaining assistance to develop simple business plans. Interactive lectures, group discussions, practical simulations, and participant comprehension assessments were all methods used to implement the methodology. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge of basic entrepreneurship concepts. They also became more capable of analyzing and identifying local business opportunities and acquired practical skills to market products through various digital platforms. Participants also showed increased motivation and confidence to start their own businesses. This program demonstrates that entrepreneurship education can help rural youth improve their lives, promote economic independence, and support sustainable local economic growth. It is hoped that these findings will serve as a model for implementing similar programs in other rural areas.

Vocational education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) requires innovative, interactive, and industry-relevant learning media to support students’ independent and competency-based learning. However, learning activities in the subject Communication in the Workplace for Grade XI MPLB at SMKN 62 Jakarta are still dominated by lecture-based methods with limited instructional media, resulting in low levels of student independence and understanding. This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of an interactive e-book based on Canva for Oral Communication materials in Indonesian Language. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects included 36 students in the needs analysis stage, 5 students in the small-scale trial, and 31 students in the large-scale trial. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The validation results indicated that the Canva-based interactive e-book was categorized as very feasible, with validation percentages of 100% from the material expert, 88.24% from the media expert, and 95% from the language expert. The small-scale trial showed a practicality percentage of 82.2%, while the large-scale trial reached 88.39%, both classified as very practical. In addition, the pre-test and post-test results in the large-scale trial demonstrated an increase in students’ average scores and a higher number of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Therefore, the Canva-based interactive e-book is feasible, practical, and effective as a learning medium to enhance students’ understanding, motivation, and independent learning in Oral Communication for vocational high school students.

Background: One way to improve human quality, especially for school-aged children, is by providing nutritious snacks that can meet nutritional needs during learning activities. In Indonesia, many snacks are available in school environments, but many of them are unhealthy when viewed from the color and ingredients used. Community Service Objective: Provide health education about healthy snacks. Method: The method used in this community service activity is lecture and question and answer, to provide an understanding of the importance of choosing healthy snacks for school-aged children. Results: Providing education about healthy snacks increased the understanding of children at MIN 25 Aceh Besar. Children responded well and several students asked questions related to the material about healthy snacks presented. Conclusion: The understanding of MIN 25 Aceh Besar students about healthy snacks increased after participating in the counseling activity. Universitas Maritim AMNI carried out community  service activities  at  Berahan Village  to support Demak Regency program. It is not only  students/cadets  and  lecturers  who  carry  out community service activities but also the surrounding community. They are very enthusiastic in participating in implementing various program activities carried out at Berahan Village. The method of implementing this activity  uses  a  direct  socialization  and  training approach, observation, interviews  and literature studies. Socialization Automation of Fishery Processing Supports Food Security in Berahan Village. The observation was held in Berahan  Village. The data collection was carried out through interview methods  and  as  a  reference  for  implementing community service activities was using the literature study method. The success of these program was  indicated  by  increase the income of the Berahan Community.

Public speaking is an essential communication skill that plays a crucial role in enhancing self-confidence, delivering ideas effectively, and fostering social participation. However, many women in rural areas still lack opportunities to develop this skill due to limited access to training, gender stereotypes, and minimal experience in public forums. These challenges lead to low levels of women’s involvement, particularly housewives who are members of PKK, in community activities and decision-making processes at the local level. This study aims to examine the impact of public speaking training on improving the knowledge, self-confidence, and social participation of PKK mothers in Nagari Sumpur Kudus. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through interactive lectures, speaking practice simulations, reflective discussions, participatory observations, and qualitative evaluations. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing based on field notes, observations, and participants’ feedback. The findings indicate that the training successfully improved participants’ understanding of basic public speaking techniques, including intonation, eye contact, body language, and structured idea delivery. Furthermore, the participants experienced significant growth in self-confidence, courage to speak in front of groups, and motivation to continuously practice their communication skills. The interactive and supportive learning atmosphere also strengthened collaboration and solidarity among PKK members. Thus, public speaking training not only enhances individual competencies but also contributes to women’s empowerment and their active participation in community development at the village level.  

Introduction: Conditions in Indonesia based on data from the 2019 Nutrition Status Study of Toddlers in Indonesia (SSGBI) are still relatively high, where the prevalence of stunting is 27.67%. The GADHIES model aims to clarify and facilitate work steps in carrying out health promotion and can complement the shortcomings of each of these models. The purpose of this service is to improve the competence of village midwives in health promotion by empowering the community to use local ingredients in making healthy and nutritious food as an effort to prevent stunting, as well as increase public awareness of the dangers of stunting in children. Method: The implementation of this activity goes through three stages of activities, namely planning, implementation and monitoring evaluation. During the planning, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) began first between the PKM team, the Puskesmas and village midwives. The implementation of the gadhies model health promotion model training for stunting prevention was carried out for 2 days which was attended by 15 village midwives, with 3 resource persons, lecture methods and interactive discussions using power point media, gadhies model posters, gadhies health promotion pocket books, and also the Gadhies Model Training Module. After carrying out this training activity, the team conducted monitoring and evaluation to see the improvement of midwives' competence on the gadhies model health promotion method. Results: There was a significant increase in midwife's competence in health promotion from 2 (13.3%) during the pretest to 14 (93.3%) during the posttest. There was a significant increase in maternal satisfaction with health promotion services by midwives from 4 (26.7%) to 15 (100%) after midwives received health promotion training on the Gadhies model.

This study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by students in understanding abstract concepts in Islamic creed (akidah) and to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic-based animation learning media as an innovative and interactive solution. The research employs a qualitative Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two learning cycles using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires as data collection techniques. The implementation of Islamic animation learning media demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ conceptual comprehension. The results indicate that the average understanding score increased from 35.25% in the preliminary stage to 89.25% after the final cycle, showing a substantial rise in students’ achievement levels. In addition, students’ enthusiasm, motivation, and active participation in classroom activities increased markedly when learning materials were presented through animated visualization rather than conventional lecture-based instruction. Expert validation confirmed that the developed instructional media meets pedagogical, didactic, and visual quality standards, and responses from teachers and students revealed positive perceptions regarding the relevance and attractiveness of animation-based learning. The findings highlight that Islamic-based animation learning media serves as an effective educational tool capable of simplifying and concretizing abstract theological concepts, enabling learners to construct deeper understanding through visual and contextual illustration.Therefore,the study recommends the broader application of animation-based Islamic instructional media in akidah education to enhance comprehension, engagement, and learning outcomes in schools.

The Professional Work Lecture (KKP) at the Makassar Class I Prison aims to support the process of fostering Correctional Assisted Citizens (WBP) through recreational activities based on fun games. This program was implemented in response to the condition of WBPs who often experience boredom, psychological stress, and limitations in positive activities during the coaching period. This study uses a descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews involving 30 WBPs, to identify needs and evaluate the impact of the implementation of activities. Fun games activities are carried out through several stages, namely planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation, by adjusting the conditions and rules that apply in the prison environment. The results of the implementation show that this activity is able to create a more positive atmosphere, increase a sense of togetherness, and help WBP in expressing and managing emotions in a healthier way. The results of the post-activity survey showed that 19 WBPs stated that they were very satisfied and 18 WBPs felt very happy after participating in fun games. Thus, fun games activities have proven to be effective as a coaching strategy that supports the improvement of the psychological welfare of WBP and can be used as an alternative to non-formal coaching programs in correctional institutions.

Minang Rua Beach in South Lampung possesses significant tourism potential that has not been optimally utilized, primarily due to the lack of creative promotional events and limited community skills in event management. This community service aimed to enhance the capacity of the local Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and youth in designing, managing, and promoting tourism events effectively. The method employed was a participatory training approach that included lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice covering creative event design, logistics management, budgeting (RAB), and digital promotion strategies. The training activities were met with high enthusiasm and active participation from the community members. The participants gained new, practical knowledge and skills in event planning and promotion, as demonstrated by their active engagement during interactive sessions and simulations. The improved capacity of the local community is expected to foster the independent and sustainable organization of creative events, thereby enhancing the destination's attractiveness and increasing tourist visits. This study aims to identify and describe the teaching process of Social Studies (IPS) in third-grade elementary school through direct observation. The method used involved an observation sheet designed in accordance with the research objectives to collect information on teacher and student activities, the teaching approach applied, and the use of teaching materials. The research findings revealed that although students were less actively involved, the lecture technique was still the main method in teaching Social Studies in third-grade elementary school. However, the practice of interactive instructional strategies, such as group discussions, the effective use of suitable instructional media is believed to enhance learners’ participation and foster greater motivation in the learning process. Furthermore, a harmonious interaction between educators and students also plays a role in establishing a supportive and comfortable learning atmosphere. The main obstacles include limited teaching materials and limited learning time. This study concludes that teaching Social Studies at the elementary school level needs to utilize a variety of interesting techniques and teaching materials to increase learning efficiency and foster student interest. These results provide useful empirical data as a basis for evaluating and improving Social Studies teaching in third-grade elementary school, so that it is more appropriate to the characteristics and needs of students.

There are plenty of useful activities that can be activated both by high school and higher education entities.  One of those activities is the tutorial program to introduce the higher education standard before a high school student picks their preferred program.  This program not only set to introduce the differences between higher education and high school standard but also to give plenty of chances.  Some of those chances are for higher education students to applied their experiences from the campus and for the alumni to go back into their past high school program.  The practiced of this activity run directly in Tarsisius II Catholic’s High School at Jakarta.  During the activity, the team that consists of higher education lecturer and students found out that there are significant gaps.  One of the most critical gap is to ensure the better two way communication in learning processes.  For this kind of thing, the lecturer and teams tried to not only see the paper result.  The adaptiveness from what they learn during the tutorial program is also important.  As a result, this tutorial work out successfully and could be implemented in several other tutorial program in other high schools.
