Non -communicable disease (PTM) is one of the increasing health problems in society every year and contributes to the largest proportion of death worldwide. According to a global status report on non -communicable diseases, non -communicable diseases can occur due to lack of exercise, smoking and malnutrition, which causes increased blood pressure, increased blood sugar levels and increased blood lipids. If not prevented, this increase will get worse and lead to chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, dysplidemia, gout arthritis and obesity. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 40 million people worldwide suffer from non -communicable diseases, with the cause of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and injuries to be the main cause (Syam'ani, 2023).

Gouty arthritis or gout is a joint disease caused by high levels of purines in the blood. A person is said to be suffering from gout if the uric acid level in their body exceeds the normal limit, the normal limit is 7 mg/dL for men and less than 6 mg/dL for women. Excessive uric acid can cause a buildup of purines in the joints and other body organs, causing pain and inflammation in the joints. This condition can make the joints feel painful when moved and can also cause joint abnormalities and disabilities (Efendi et al., 2022). In Central Java, the prevalence of gout sufferers is approximately 2.6 - 47.2%, which varies in various populations (Zakiudin et al., 2024). Based on data from the Kecipir Community Health Center, the prevalence of gouty arthritis at the Kecipir Community Health Center in 2023 will reach 13.67%. The percentage of residents in Kalibuntu Village who suffer from gouty arthritis in 2023 will reach 24.3% in old age (Kecipir Community Health Center, 2023).

Background: Gout is a disease associated with high levels of uric acid in the blood. Apart from the aging process, gout can also occur due to the inhibition of the secretion process and a decrease in the enzyme uricase. The aging process in the elderly causes various health problems, as a result of which they are susceptible to diseases, one of which is an increase in uric acid. Uric acid numbers can be said to be abnormal if >6 mg/dl for women and >7.2 mg/dl for men. Non-pharmacological therapy that can be done is ergonomic exercise. The purpose of this study is to compare measurements of uric acid levels before and after ergonomic exercise. Methods: A case study of 2 respondents was conducted three times a week, with a duration of 19 minutes for each exercise. Results: The application of the two respondents resulted in a significant decrease in uric acid levels; namely, Mrs. S obtained a result of 4.8 mg/dl, while Mrs. T obtained a result of 5 mg/dl. Conclusion: The results of this study concluded that there was a decrease in uric acid levels in both respondents after ergonomic gymnastics.

Hyperuricemia is defined as increased levels of uric acid in the blood, this can result in gout which is characterized by pain and redness in the joints. Currently, increased uric acid levels are often caused by excessive consumption of red meat including offal, being overweight, consuming foods high in cholesterol, and rarely exercising. The purpose of this counseling and examination of uric acid levels is to increase public knowledge about gout and gout screening by conducting uric acid examinations using POCT. The implementation method used is direct delivery of material related to gout, symptoms, and prevention including screening of uric acid examinations using the POCT method.

Serum uric acid (SUA) is the end product of purine metabolism in humans. When the body makes too much uric acid and the kidneys don't get rid of it quickly enough, this is called hyperuricemia. This leads to gouty arthritis because monosodium urate crystals build up in the joints. Normal SUA levels are 3.5–7.0 mg/dL in men and 2.6–6.0 mg/dL in women, influenced by diet, genetics, kidney function and medications. The prevalence of hyperuricemia is increasing globally, both in developed and developing countries. Although often asymptomatic, elevated SUA can cause tissue damage and increase the risk of hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic kidney disease (CKD). This activity uses the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) method for early detection of hyperuricemia in the elderly at Hana Nursing Home, South Tangerang. Blood test results revealed hyperuricemia in 16 people (26.23%). Routine SUA screening helps identify individuals at risk and allows for preventive measures such as dietary changes and regular exercise.

Gout is caused by several things, one of which is the consumption of foods high in purine, choosing the right food menu for all foods consumed is an obligation... apart from this, there are various other factors that can increase the risk of this disease, namely increasing age and male gender, family health history, obesity, consumption of certain medications, certain medical conditions, unhealthy lifestyles and injuries due to surgery. The low priority given by health services to non-communicable diseases and inadequate public knowledge. Gout is a public health problem in Indonesia and is still not fully addressed. Knowledge and assistance regarding the right food to consume is a solution in overcoming this problem. For this reason, the authors in this study developed an expert system as a reference for gout risk to improve healthy lifestyle patterns. This system was developed with 2 benefits, namely getting recommendations and monitoring uric acid levels. As a result of the tests carried out, it is known that from a health practitioner's point of view, the system developed is suitable for use to accompany prevention and monitoring activities for gout sufferers and the information regarding the patient's dietary history presented by the system can be used as evaluation material during control. Users strongly agree with the system created due to lack of knowledge and lack of control in consuming foods that cause gout.
