This study aims to describe the representation of love in the character of Indar in the novel Bukan Cinta Monyet by Purnama Teduh based on Erich Fromm’s perspective. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method using a literary psychology approach. The source of this study is the novel Bukan Cinta Monyet, with data consisting of narrative quotations and dialogues related to the representation of love in the character of Indar. Data collection was conducted through reading and note-taking. Data analysis in this study employed content analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that Indar’s representation of love, viewed from the perspective of existential needs, encompasses only the needs for relatedness and attachment. Indar’s representation of love demonstrates an orientation toward brotherly love and erotic love. Meanwhile, elements of mature love such as responsibility, care, respect, and knowledge have not been fully realized. Thus, Indar’s representation of love does not yet demonstrate the maturity of love, but rather the consistency of feelings she maintains from adolescence into adulthood.

The military coup in Myanmar in February 2021 triggered a prolonged political crisis that impacted the stability of the Southeast Asian region. This study analyzes the role of Thai diplomacy in responding to and contributing to the resolution of Myanmar's social and political conflict between 2021 and 2024. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical study, this study examines Thailand's diplomatic steps both bilaterally and multilaterally, particularly within the ASEAN framework. The results show that Thailand played a significant role as a facilitator of dialogue and negotiations with the Myanmar military junta through an approach that prioritized the principles of non-intervention, soft diplomacy, and the interests of regional stability. Thailand was also active in encouraging the implementation of the ASEAN Five-Point Consensus and facilitating informal communication channels that created a space for discussion between the junta and the international community. This study concludes that geopolitical interests, border security, and economic relations influenced Thailand's diplomatic stance and strategy in addressing the Myanmar crisis.

Mental health issues among university students have become a growing concern, driven by academic pressures, career uncertainties, and complex social transitions. However, a large proportion of students remains reluctant to seek professional psychological support due to social stigma and limited access to institutional counseling services. This study proposes the design and implementation of an Android-based chatbot application that integrates mood tracking and sentiment analysis to continuously monitor the emotional states of university students. The system employs a fine-tuned RoBERTa (Robustly Optimized BERT Pretraining Approach) model trained on the EmoContext conversational dataset (SemEval-2019 Task 3), comprising 30,160 labeled three-turn dialogue instances across four emotion classes: angry, happy, sad, and others. The model was fine-tuned for four epochs using the AdamW optimizer with a learning rate of 2e-5 and a maximum sequence length of 128 tokens. Evaluation on a held-out validation set of 6,032 samples yielded an overall accuracy of 88.28%, a macro-average F1-score of 0.87, and a weighted-average F1-score of 0.88. Per-class F1-scores were 0.89 (angry), 0.83 (happy), 0.91 (others), and 0.86 (sad). The classified emotion is transmitted in real time to the chatbot response logic, which generates empathetic replies and personalized relaxation recommendations based on the detected mood. Primary data collection through questionnaires and interviews with 62 and 19 university students respectively confirmed the need for accessible digital mental health support. The results demonstrate that RoBERTa-based fine-tuning on conversational data provides a reliable foundation for real-time emotion-aware mental health chatbot systems.

Religious pluralism in Indonesia constitutes a unique national identity, yet it is vulnerable to horizontal conflicts and acts of intolerance. This study aims to analyze the importance of interfaith dialogue in fostering mutual understanding from Catholic and Islamic perspectives within Indonesia’s pluralistic society. The methodology employed is qualitative research using a literature review approach, involving the collection and analysis of various relevant sources such as books, journals, and academic articles. The results of the study indicate that both Islam and Catholicism possess strong theological foundations in support of interfaith dialogue, emphasizing openness, respect for differences, and a commitment to peace and coexistence. Interfaith dialogue has proven to be an effective means of addressing divisions or conflicts, combating intolerance, and fostering harmonious relationships within a multireligious society. Furthermore, it was found that barriers to dialogue are still influenced by factors such as fanaticism, a lack of understanding, and socio-political conditions. This study concludes that interfaith dialogue is a strategic approach to strengthening tolerance and national unity. Therefore, it is recommended that interfaith dialogue be continuously developed through education, interfaith cooperation, and the active role of religious leaders in fostering inclusive and sustainable communication.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam menerjemahkan konsep-konsep teologis yang abstrak agar sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif peserta didik usia sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya penanaman iman sejak dini dalam keluarga sebagai ecclesia domestica, yang kemudian dilanjutkan secara sistematis dalam pendidikan formal. Namun, pada jenjang sekolah dasar, pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen menghadapi tantangan karena materi teologis yang bersifat abstrak tidak selalu selaras dengan kemampuan berpikir anak. Berdasarkan teori perkembangan kognitif Jean Piaget, anak usia 7–12 tahun berada pada tahap operasional konkret, sehingga membutuhkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berbasis pengalaman nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan hermeneutika-pedagogis untuk menganalisis strategi pengajaran Yesus dalam Injil Markus 4:1–33. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Yesus menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif melalui pengelolaan ruang belajar (spasial), penggunaan perumpamaan sebagai media naratif, serta pendekatan dialogis-partisipatif. Strategi ini memungkinkan terjadinya jembatan antara konsep abstrak Kerajaan Allah dengan realitas konkret kehidupan pendengar. Dengan demikian, integrasi antara pemahaman teks Alkitab dan pendekatan pedagogis yang sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif menjadi kunci dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang efektif. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen perlu mengembangkan strategi kreatif dan kontekstual agar nilai-nilai iman tidak hanya dipahami secara kognitif, tetapi juga dihayati dan diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik.

 Penelitian ini mengkaji peran media sosial dalam membentuk pemahaman keagamaan dan toleransi antarumat beragama di kalangan generasi muda Indonesia, yang semakin intens berinteraksi dengan wacana keagamaan melalui platform digital dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Media sosial tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk mengakses pengetahuan agama, tetapi juga sebagai ruang interaksi lintas iman yang memungkinkan pertemuan berbagai perspektif. Namun, peluang tersebut berjalan beriringan dengan tantangan berupa misinformasi, konten provokatif, serta echo chamber berbasis algoritma yang berpotensi mendistorsi penafsiran ajaran agama dan memperkuat polarisasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua permasalahan utama, yaitu bagaimana generasi muda menafsirkan pesan-pesan keagamaan yang ditemui di media sosial, serta faktor digital dan sosial apa saja yang memengaruhi apakah keterlibatan tersebut mendorong sikap toleran atau justru memicu kesalahpahaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam yang didukung oleh observasi awal untuk menggali pengalaman hidup pemuka agama dan generasi muda yang aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan serta penggunaan media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesan keagamaan yang positif, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta keteladanan figur agama dan publik berperan penting dalam memperkuat perspektif keagamaan yang moderat dan meningkatkan keterbukaan antariman. Sebaliknya, rendahnya literasi digital dan paparan informasi yang homogen berkontribusi terhadap kesalahpahaman serta terbatasnya dialog lintas agama. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis terpadu antara praktik digital generasi muda dan perspektif otoritas keagamaan, sehingga memberikan pemahaman kontekstual mengenai dinamika komunikasi keagamaan di ruang digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media sosial dapat mendorong harmoni antarumat beragama dan pendalaman pemahaman agama apabila didukung oleh produksi konten yang etis dan literasi digital yang kuat.

This study aims to analyze Catholic marriage in the perspective of Martin Buber's dialogical philosophy, particularly the concept of “I-Thou,” as an integrative and applicable approach to building family life. Catholic marriage is understood as a sacrament that is monogamous and indissoluble, based on the Holy Scriptures, Church teachings, and the Code of Canon Law. However, various contemporary challenges such as communication crises, technological developments, and internal family conflicts demand a renewal of the way of understanding husband-wife relationships in a more dialogical and personal manner. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature approach, descriptive-analytical in nature, through content analysis and hermeneutics of relevant primary and secondary sources. The results of the study show that the integration of the “I-You” concept in Catholic marriage affirms the husband-wife relationship as an encounter between subjects who are equal, dialogical, and reciprocal. This model places marriage as a responsibility for unity, a practice of dialogue for the bonum coniugum, and a communion that reaches its peak in a relationship with God, so that sacramental teachings are concretely realized in the dynamics of family life.

A mid the growing complexity of contemporary education, the challenge of integrating intellectual achievement with moral and spiritual development has become increasingly urgent. This study examines educational strategies in the Qur’an through the perspective of tafsir tarbawi, focusing on four core approaches: exemplary conduct, advice, dialogue, and storytelling. The research aims to explore how the Qur’an presents pedagogical methods that not only convey knowledge but also shape character and internalize values in learners. Employing a qualitative library research design with thematic and tafsir tarbawi approaches, this study analyzes relevant Qur’anic verses and supporting scholarly literature. The findings reveal that the Qur’an offers a holistic and dynamic model of education in which exemplary conduct functions as a behavioral model, advice serves as a means of value internalization, dialogue promotes reflective and critical thinking, and storytelling strengthens moral awareness through narrative experience. These strategies are interconnected and operate across cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. The study concludes that Qur’anic educational strategies remain highly relevant for contemporary Islamic education, particularly in strengthening character formation, reflective learning, and the integration of values in educational practice.

This study aims to analyze the impact of the split and identify reconciliation efforts between the BNKP Jemaat Kasih Karunia and the BNKP Jemaat Hilifalagötanö in Tetegawa’ai Village, Mazo District, South Nias, using the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) method. The conflict between the two congregations began with differences of opinion regarding church construction and the selection of pastors, which led to the separation of the congregations in 2014. This study uses a mixed method approach, combining qualitative analysis through in-depth interviews with BPMJ, SNK, and the Head of the Commission, and quantitative analysis through questionnaires to 36 respondents. The results show that the majority of the congregations understand reconciliation as a process of restoring broken relationships, emphasizing values ​​such as making peace, forgiveness, brotherhood, as well as friendly, caring, and empathetic attitudes. Respondents consider reconciliation efforts very necessary, including through mediation, cooperation between congregations, and the wise involvement of leaders and government officials. Qualitative findings strengthen the quantitative results by confirming that appreciation for positive values, open dialogue, and active collaboration are key factors in the reconciliation process. This research confirms that the Appreciative Inquiry method is effective in rebuilding congregational harmony, strengthening fellowship, and providing a practical model for other church communities in managing similar conflicts.

This study examines the Common Dange Mess at the Parish of Santo Antonius Padua Mendalam as a manifestation of the inculturation of Catholic faith with the Dayak Kayan culture. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study focuses on the meaning and relationship between the Church altar and the Lasah as symbols of liturgy and culture. The altar remains the sacramental center of the Eucharist, while the Lasah channels prayers, offerings, and local cultural identity, forming a harmonious dialogue without altering theological meaning. Cultural elements such as language, songs, dances, traditional attire, and ritual symbols are purified and aligned with the liturgy, ensuring that all offerings are directed to God. The findings indicate that the Common Dange Mess strengthens the faith of the Dayak Kayan community, preserves cultural identity, and affirms the practice of contextual theology, in which the proclamation of the Gospel is realized contextually, dialogically, and complementarily with local traditions, making this celebration a mature model of inculturation centered on Christ.

Social change in the context of liquid modernity has significantly influenced how people understand interpersonal relationships, love, and commitment. Contemporary relationships tend to be flexible, temporary, and oriented towards the fulfillment of subjective needs, making loyalty and long-term commitment often viewed as a threat to personal autonomy. Based on Zygmunt Bauman's analysis of liquid modernity and liquid love, this study examines the crisis of modern relationships as an anthropological and theological crisis of meaning. Specifically, the study focuses on the Nota Doktrinal Una Caro as the Catholic Church's theological response to these relational dynamics. Using a library research method with a qualitative and analytical-hermeneutical approach, this study interprets magisterial texts in critical dialogue with the sociological theory of liquid modernity. The research findings show that the Nota Doktrinal Una Caro offers an integrated anthropological-theological vision by affirming Catholic marriage as a permanent, monogamous, and indissoluble communion of life and love. Fidelity is understood as the highest actualization of freedom, while sexuality is seen as an expression of total self-giving, offering an alternative to the fragmentation of modern relationships. The study also emphasizes the importance of a dialogical and formative approach in family counseling.

The moral crisis in contemporary education demands a reconstruction of moral values derived from the Qur'an as the epistemological foundation of Islamic education. This study aims to identify and analyze the moral educational values found in Surah Al-Imran, verse 159, particularly through the perspectives of Ibn Kathir’s tafsir and Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir Al-Misbah, and formulate its implications for contemporary Islamic education practices. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzes primary data from Ibn Kathir’s tafsir and Tafsir Al-Misbah, confronted with secondary literature on moral education theory. The analysis technique used was content analysis with a comparative-analytical approach to extract both explicit and implicit moral educational values. The findings revealed three fundamental values: first, gentleness (ar-rifq) as a humanistic pedagogical communication method; second, forgiveness (al-‘afw) as a mechanism for restoring educational relationships; third, consultation (asy-syura) as a democratic principle in educational decision-making. This study concludes that these values are not merely individual ethics but methodological principles that must be integrated into the culture of Islamic educational institutions. Practically, this requires a transformation from authoritarian-monological to dialogical-participatory educational approaches and strengthening educators' socio-emotional competencies.

This study aims to analyze intersubjectivity, love, and hope in the anime The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity through the perspective of the existentialist philosophy of Gabriel Marcel. The research employs a qualitative method using a literature review and content analysis approach. Data were collected from relevant philosophical texts on Marcel’s thought and from the analysis of scenes, dialogues, and character development in the anime. The findings reveal that the relationship between Kouruko Waguri and Rintaro Tsumugi reflects the concept of intersubjectivity as an authentic encounter between “I” and “Thou,” where both individuals recognize each other as subjects. The concepts of being and presence are manifested through genuine presence and relational openness, while having functions as a supporting element that does not lead to possessiveness. Furthermore, fidelity, love, and hope emerge as central dimensions in the fulfillment of the characters’ existence, as these aspects enable their relationship to develop in a meaningful and profound way. This study demonstrates that popular cultural works such as anime can serve as relevant media for philosophical reflection in understanding human existence as inherently relational.

This study aims to analyze the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata using a critical hermeneutic approach developed by Jürgen Habermas. The focus of this research is to uncover the critical meaning contained in the novel as a reflection of social reality, especially in the field of education. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through literature studies and text analysis in the form of excerpts in novels. The results of the study show that the novel Laskar Pelangi not only presents an inspiring story, but also contains criticism of the education system in Indonesia which is still colored by inequality and injustice. In the aspect of communicative action, it was found that there was a dialogical interaction between teachers and students as well as the value of solidarity and strong struggle. However, in the aspect of communication distortion, there is injustice in access to education and a lack of space for poor groups to voice their interests. In addition, the analysis also reveals the existence of ideology and domination, especially economic dominance over education and social systems that oppress the lower groups. On the other hand, the emancipatory interest in this novel is reflected through education as a tool of liberation and the struggle of its characters in fighting against limitations. Thus, this study concludes that the novel Laskar Pelangi has an important role as a social criticism medium that is able to build readers' critical awareness of the reality of education and social inequality that occurs in society.

This article examines the phenomenon of interfaith solidarity rapidly flourishing in Indonesia’s digital sphere during Ramadan, specifically through the viral "war takjil" trend involving active participation from non-Muslim communities. With national social media users reaching 180 million, digital platforms have transformed into crucial interaction spaces facilitating fluid and participatory interfaith communication. This research employs a qualitative approach using literature review, phenomenological analysis, and theological reflection within the Catholic tradition to understand the meaning behind this social behavior. Main findings indicate that this phenomenon is a concrete manifestation of bottom-up pluralism, emerging organically from daily social interactions. Based on the Contact Hypothesis, these digital interactions successfully reduce prejudice by achieving common goals and maintaining equal status in public spaces. Theologically, the phenomenon reflects the spirit of universal brotherhood and solidarity emphasized in the documents Fratelli Tutti and Nostra Aetate. The article concludes that healthy pluralism is the capacity to maintain one's own faith identity while actively building bridges of love with those of different beliefs. The implications emphasize the importance of media literacy for faith educators and catechists to guide the community in responding to digital social dynamics constructively without compromising theological truths. This study serves as a reference for developing inclusive, love-based interfaith communication strategies within Indonesia’s diverse digital society.

This study aims to analyze the strategies of multicultural Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in fostering students’ tolerance attitudes in the context of Indonesia’s diverse society. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by examining various relevant scientific literatures, including journals, books, and policy documents. Data were analyzed through stages of data collection, reduction, thematic analysis, and synthesis. The findings indicate that there are three main strategies in implementing multicultural-based PAI learning: (1) enrichment of teaching materials with multicultural perspectives, (2) application of dialogic discussion and cooperative learning methods, and (3) creation of a democratic and inclusive school culture. These strategies are proven to significantly contribute to the development of students’ tolerance, inclusivity, and respect for diversity. However, several challenges are identified, such as limited teacher competence, lack of inclusive teaching materials, social pressures, and the influence of digital media. In conclusion, multicultural-based PAI learning plays a crucial role in shaping tolerant and inclusive students. Its successful implementation requires a holistic, adaptive, and collaborative approach involving curriculum development, teacher competence enhancement, and support from the broader educational ecosystem.

This study explores the integration of Creativity Education and Growth Mindset in Catholic Religious Education (CRE) at Senior High Schools and examines its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, focusing on quality and inclusive education. Using a Systematic Literature Review based on the PRISMA 2020 protocol, the study analyzed 1,263 articles from scientific databases, narrowing down to 106 relevant studies. The findings highlight that Creativity Education fosters critical thinking, cognitive flexibility, problem-solving, and the integration of moral and spiritual values. Growth Mindset enhances students’ intrinsic motivation, perseverance, and resilience, creating an adaptive, innovative, and inclusive learning environment. The synthesis led to the development of an integrative learning model, which includes the Creative Reflective Learning Cycle, Faith-Based Project Learning, Creative Growth Dialogue, and Digital Creativity Integration. This model aims to holistically develop students’ cognitive, creative, moral, and spiritual capacities. The study demonstrates that the combination of Creativity Education and Growth Mindset enriches CRE pedagogical practices and supports the development of 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and moral literacy. It concludes that project-based learning, digital technology integration, and curriculum adjustments are vital steps in improving learning quality and inclusiveness. The study recommends further empirical research to test the effectiveness of the proposed model.

The concept of fides quaerens intellectum (faith seeking understanding) in this study is interpreted by emphasizing the rationality of faith as a form of apologia based on 1 Peter 3:15. This study aims to demonstrate that Christian faith is not merely spiritual and normative in nature, but also possesses a rational dimension that can be intellectually justified. In this context, 1 Peter 3:15 serves as a biblical foundation that underscores the importance of believers being prepared to provide a logical and responsible explanation for the hope they possess.This research employs a qualitative approach through library research, combined with an exegetical analysis of 1 Peter 3:15 and a philosophical-theological approach to understand the relationship between faith and reason. Through this framework, the rationality of faith is examined as an integral part of the Christian apologetic tradition. Furthermore, this study affirms that faith and reason are not contradictory realities, but rather complementary elements in the pursuit of truth. The findings indicate that the rationality of faith functions not only defensively but also constructively in fostering dialogue between faith and the intellectual world. Christian faith is understood as a conviction that remains open to rational examination without losing its dimension of mystery. Social conflict between neighbors is a phenomenon that often appears in pluralistic society and has the potential to disrupt social harmony if not managed constructively. The conflict is generally triggered by the lack of interfaith communication, social prejudice, socio-economic inequality, as well as external party provocations that utilize rift with social relations. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of conflict between neighbors are different religions and review the relevance of Q.S. Al-Hujurat paragraph 13 as theological runway in a resolution of conflict and a strengthening of plurality values. This study used qualitative methods with the approach of literature study (library research), through an analysis of the interpretation of the Qur'an, pluralism, and scientific literature relevant to the theme and resolution of conflict. The results show that Q.S. Al-Hujurat paragraph 13 emphasizes the principle of human equality, respect for diversity, and the concept of 'arafu (know each other) as the foundation of harmonious social interaction. Qur'ani values such as justice, tolerance, dialogue, patience, forgiveness, and help, are proven to be relevant as a conflict-based conflict resolution strategy (sulh). Implementation of this value through interfaith dialogue, multicultural education, and inclusive social policies are able to reduce prejudice and strengthen social solidarity. Thus, the integration of Q.S value. Al-Hujurat paragraph 13 in social life is a normative and practical approach to building a sustainable peace in the midst of a pluralistic society.

Discussions regarding the origins of the universe have been a focus in philosophy and science, particularly regarding the relationship between the concept of God and modern cosmology. The concept of God as the prima causa is considered the core of classical cosmology, while modern cosmology posits that the universe has a beginning of time. This study aims to observe and analyze the comparison of the concept of God as the first cause by Thomas Aquinas and the Big Bang theory of modern cosmology. The method used is a literature study by examining various philosophical and scientific sources. The results of this study will emphasize the fundamental differences between Thomas Aquinas's approach to God as the first cause metaphysically and the approach of the theory of the origin of the universe (Big Bang theory) which focuses on the physical processes of the universe. Although there are different approaches, there are points of dialogue that open up space for integration between philosophy and modern cosmology. Abstrak. Diskusi berkaitan asal-usul alam semesta sudah menjadi sorotan dalam filsafat dan sains, khususnya mengenai hubungan antara konsep ketuhanan dan kosmologis modern. Konsep ketuhanan sebagai causa prima dinilai sebagai inti kosmolgis klasik sedangkan kosmologis modern mengangkat bahwa alam semesta ada permulaan waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan menganalisis perbandingan konsep Tuhan sebagai penyebab pertama oleh Thomas Aquinas dan teori Big Bang dari kosmologis modern. Metode yang digunakan ialah studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber filsafat dan sains. Hasil penelitian ini akan menekankan perbedaan fundamental berkaitan pendekatan Thomas Aquinas mengenai Tuhan sebagai penyebab pertama secara metafisik dengan pendekatan teori asal-usul alam semesta (teori Big Bang) yang berfokus pada proses fisik alam semesta. Walaupun ada pendekatan yang berbeda namun ada titik dialog yang membuka ruang integrasi antara filsafat dan kosmologi modern.
