Substance and prescription drug misuse among adolescents continues to escalate and demands targeted preventive strategies within the school setting. This community service activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge about the hazards of drug abuse through an interactive, school-based educational intervention. The program was conducted on 11 November 2026 at SMA Negeri 7 Kota Batam, involving fifty grade-X students as participants. A pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. The intervention combined interactive lectures, real-case illustrations, and two-way discussion, with knowledge measured using a content-validated questionnaire covering ten indicators. The mean score improved from 55.2 (pretest) to 86.3 (posttest), a gain of 31.1 points, while the proportion of correct answers across indicators rose from 48.6-62.9% to 80.0-91.4%. The largest gains appeared on items concerning rational drug use and the importance of professional health guidance, whereas the legal-consequence indicator improved more modestly. Interactive, contextually relevant education proves effective in elevating adolescent knowledge of drug abuse hazards, with stronger gains on experience-near content than on abstract regulatory aspects.

Misconceptions on the topic of waves are a systemic problem in high school physics learning that requires a comprehensive diagnostic instrument. Conventional diagnostic instruments up to the four-tier generation have limitations in revealing the conceptual structure behind students' thinking errors. This study aims to develop a five-tier multi-representation diagnostic instrument on the topic of waves using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The main innovation of this instrument lies in the integration of multi-representations (verbal, pictures, graphics, mathematical) in Tier 1 and the addition of a paraphrase tier (Tier 5) that asks students to rewrite their understanding in their own words. The development process includes needs analysis, designing a grid of 16 questions, validation by two experts, and a limited trial on 34 grade XI students of SMAN 13 Kota Jambi. The results of expert validation showed an average percentage of 91.25% (Very Good) from both validators. Content validity was met with a percentage of False Positive (FP) of 6.80% and False Negative (FN) of 4.41%, both below the 10% threshold. Construct validity was confirmed through a significant Product Moment correlation (r = 0.342–0.348; sig. < 0.05) and factor analysis with six significant factors (eigenvalue > 1). The instrument's reliability was high, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.726. This instrument is expected to help physics teachers diagnose students' misconceptions more precisely and thoroughly on the topic of waves.

The digitalization of tax administration has become one of the Indonesian government's strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and taxpayer compliance. However, the implementation of digital tax systems among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly distributor-sector MSMEs in Batam City, still faces various administrative and technical challenges. This study aims to examine the experiences, risk perceptions, and adaptation strategies of distributor MSME actors in responding to the digitalization of tax administration following the implementation of the Harmonization of Tax Regulations Law (UU HPP). The research employed a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven distributor MSME owners in Batam City who had utilized digital tax systems such as e-Filing and Coretax. The findings indicate that most business actors still experience limitations in technical understanding, concerns regarding reporting errors, and difficulties adapting to changes in digital tax systems and regulations. To address these challenges, MSME actors developed several adaptation strategies, including the use of tax consultants, hybrid manual-digital bookkeeping systems, and informal assistance through the internet and business networks. This study highlights that the success of tax digitalization requires a more adaptive approach, stable systems, and policies that are aligned with the characteristics of local MSMEs.

This community service study investigates a marketing training program implemented by theology students of STT Kadesi Bogor at the GPIA Sidoasri congregation in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency, East Java. The program targeted eighteen women members of the congregation to improve their economic capacity through the marketing of low-cost everyday clothing via three channels: door-to-door sales, a small storefront at the church, and online commerce through TikTok. The study applied a pre- test/post-test design evaluated using the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) method to measure changes in knowledge and skill across five indicators: marketing knowledge, selling skills, online media usage, basic financial recording, and entrepreneurial motivation. Results indicated a moderate-to-high N-Gain across all measured indicators, with an average N-Gain score of 0.656 (moderate category), and the highest individual gain in entrepreneurial motivation (0.76, high category). Sales data over the three-month period (January–March 2025) recorded a total profit of Rp1,967,500 across 345 garments sold, representing an income supplement of approximately 27–35% relative to participants' baseline household income for the most active participants. A marked sales decline in February and March was attributed to seasonal demand shifts ahead of Eid al-Fitr, as consumers redirected purchases toward formal Muslim attire. The program demonstrated that congregation-based economic empowerment rooted in a biblical theology of work, stewardship, and the dignity of labor can yield measurable and holistic socioeconomic outcomes for Christian women in rural communities.

The development of an economic activity in a city is often one of the influences on changes in the use of residential space in the surrounding area. One of the phenomena that we can see in big cities in Indonesia is the use of residences as rental housing such as boarding houses and rents aimed especially at workers in foreign areas. This study aims to analyze the use of residential space by the community as temporary residence for employees of Mie Gacoan restaurant in Serang City, Banten, and see how it affects the spatial dynamics of the residential area. This study uses a primary and secondary data-based case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the existence of economic activities around residential areas can encourage an increase in the need for temporary housing for workers in rural areas. This phenomenon makes some people take advantage of their residences by making them rental residences such as boarding houses and rented ones. This can affect the spatial structure of the residential area, such as increasing population density, increasing activities in the residential environment, and the presence of small economic activities by the community. Therefore, this phenomenon states that the development of economic activity in an urban area can trigger changes in the use of space in the surrounding residential area.

Artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) provides short-term income for rural communities but frequently creates environmental, safety, and governance problems when it operates outside formal control. This study aimed to analyze the existing condition of ASGM, identify the driving and inhibiting factors of its arrangement, describe the perceived impacts, and formulate strategic directions for ASGM arrangement in Karang Jaya District, North Musi Rawas Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied using semi-structured interviews supported by secondary data on the study area, population, and agricultural land use. Twenty-two informants represented district officials, village officials, technical agencies, company representatives, community leaders, nearby residents, and ASGM actors. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that ASGM development is driven by gold potential, mining history, household economic pressure, limited alternative employment, and weak field control. The main impacts include land degradation, open mining pits, landslide and occupational accident risks, and mercury-related water and soil contamination. The recommended strategy combines alternative livelihood development, skills training, local economic institutional strengthening, gradual area monitoring, land rehabilitation, and mercury-risk education.

Batik motif classification has attracted growing attention in visual computing due to its role in cultural heritage preservation, textile informatics, museum documentation, and automated cataloging. Although many studies report high classification accuracy, robustness under real-world acquisition conditions remains insufficiently understood. Batik images are frequently affected by illumination variation, blur, folds, watermark overlays, wearable deformation, scale inconsistency, and background clutter, creating challenges that extend beyond conventional image-noise assumptions. Existing studies largely focus on improving classification performance, while the interactions among acquisition variability, feature representation, evaluation practice, and deployment constraints remain fragmented. This systematic literature review addresses this gap by synthesizing batik classification research through a robustness-aware perspective. Using query expansion, backward and forward citation chaining, relevance screening, and thematic coding, 116 candidate records were identified, resulting in 50 highly relevant studies for detailed analysis. The review reveals that robustness is shaped less by denoising alone than by the combined effects of acquisition conditions, representation design, evaluation realism, and deployment context. Handcrafted descriptors remain competitive for small datasets and structured motifs due to their data efficiency and interpretability, whereas deep learning models achieve the highest reported accuracy when supported by sufficient data diversity and realistic augmentation. Hybrid representations emerge as the most consistently balanced approach, combining local texture stability with higher-level abstraction across heterogeneous acquisition settings. The review further identifies recurring robustness failure patterns, including background dependency, illumination instability, motif-scale inconsistency, wearable deformation, and source-shift vulnerability. Based on these findings, a robustness-oriented research agenda is proposed, emphasizing cross-acquisition evaluation, representation-stability analysis, batik-specific robustness benchmarks, acquisition-aware augmentation, and deployable lightweight or hybrid architectures. The study contributes a domain-specific synthesis that reframes batik motif classification from an accuracy-centric task toward a robustness-aware visual recognition problem.

The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews and observations, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively.   This study aims to analyze the financial management practices of the Es Degan Bu Ulfa MSME and their compliance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews and observations, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results indicate that financial management is still carried out simply and does not yet implement written records. Business income and expenses still rely on memory, even though business owners perform daily profit and loss calculations and separate personal and business finances. The main obstacles faced include limited human resources and a low understanding of financial record keeping and the SAK EMKM. Based on the analysis, financial management practices are not fully compliant with SAK EMKM standards. Therefore, the implementation of simple financial record keeping is necessary to structure business financial information and support business decision-making. Proper financial management can help improve business performance, monitor cash flow, evaluate profitability, and enhance accountability. Furthermore, the application of SAK EMKM is expected to facilitate access to financing and strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Bangka Belitung Islands Province as the largest tin producer faces legality dilemmas and criminalization of artisanal miners due to permit centralization through Law Number 3 of 2020. This study aims to analyze the impact of centralization on artisanal miners' legal access, criminalization practices under Article 158 of the Mineral and Coal Law, and the form of Bangka Artisanal Miners Alliance (ATRB) struggle demanding legal certainty. The research employs qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques through literature study and document analysis of regulations, court decisions, and media reports. Findings show centralization narrows legal access causing slow and bureaucratic process for Artisanal Mining Area (WPR) designation and Artisanal Mining Permit (IPR) issuance. Criminalization practices more frequently affect small-scale miners major actors, creating injustice perceptions and worsening socio-economic conditions of mining households. ATRB emerges as a social movement demanding legal recognition through accelerated WPR and IPR plus economic redistribution through fair tin trade governance. Non-transparent royalty management reaching Rp1.7 trillion worsens community vulnerability. This research contributes to social movement and natural resource politics studies by emphasizing the importance of participatory legalization and governance reform to reduce social conflict.

In Islam, prayer (salat) is a fundamental obligation that must be performed under all circumstances, including during illness. Muslim patients have high spiritual needs, in which religious practices serve as a source of strength in coping with disease. Although Islam provides concessions (rukhsah) in performing prayer for the sick, limitations in patients’ understanding of how to perform prayer according to their health conditions are still found. This lack of knowledge may affect the proper practice of prayer during hospitalization. Therefore, this study aims to identify patient characteristics related to the practice of prayer, to examine the level of knowledge of the five daily prayers in relation to their practice among patients, and to analyze patients’ overall level of knowledge regarding prayer. This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The results show that patient characteristics, particularly productive age and higher educational level, contribute to their ability to perform prayer during hospitalization. A significant relationship was found between the level of knowledge of prayer and its practice, where better understanding was associated with more optimal religious practice. Overall, most patients had a high level of knowledge of prayer, although a small proportion still had low knowledge, indicating the need for spiritual education. It can be concluded that the level of knowledge of prayer is associated with the quality of prayer practice among Muslim patients at RSUD Haji Makassar. Strengthening spiritual education is needed to support the fulfillment of patients’ religious needs during hospitalization.

Abstract: Detecting chili leaf diseases remains challenging due to the non-uniform manifestation of symptoms, local discoloration, small lesion regions, and visual similarity between disease patterns and natural leaf background variations. Although YOLO-based detectors provide favorable computational efficiency, lightweight variants often struggle to distinguish subtle lesion characteristics, while conventional attention mechanisms such as CBAM primarily rely on global feature aggregation and may overlook regional activation variability. To address these limitations, this study proposes a YOLOv9s-based detection framework integrated with a Region-Dispersion Channel Spatial Attention (RDCSA) module. The proposed module incorporates regional dispersion statistics, namely mean, standard deviation, and range, as channel descriptors to capture inter-region feature variability before applying spatial attention refinement. Experiments were conducted on the COLD dataset containing 532 original images from five chili leaf condition categories using a split-before-augmentation protocol to ensure objective evaluation. RDCSA was integrated at the P5 feature level and evaluated through attention placement analysis, component-wise ablation, sensitivity analysis, stability assessment, and comparison with modern attention mechanisms. The proposed YOLOv9s + RDCSA model achieved an mAP@50 of 0.894, mAP@50–95 of 0.773, precision of 0.858, recall of 0.861, and an F1-score of 0.859 with only a marginal increase in model parameters. The results suggest that regional dispersion-based attention improves feature discrimination while preserving computational efficiency, particularly for disease symptoms characterized by heterogeneous spatial patterns. Nevertheless, performance remains influenced by visually ambiguous symptom categories, indicating that further validation across multiple datasets and field conditions is required. Overall, the proposed RDCSA module enhances detection capability without substantially increasing computational overhead, making it a promising attention mechanism for lightweight plant disease detection systems.
