This study aims to analyze the syntactic structure in Rony Parulian's song lyrics on the album "Rahasia Pertama", focusing on seven types of phrases, namely nominal phrases, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, numerals, prepositions, and conjunctions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with text analysis techniques to identify and classify phrases based on their syntactic forms and functions. The results of the study show that all types of phrases are found in song lyrics and have functions as subjects, predicates, objects, complements, and adverbs. The use of phrases not only builds grammatical sentence structures, but also strengthens the emotional, aesthetic, and expressive meanings in the lyrics. These findings confirm that the power of language in songs lies in the syntactic structure that is able to convey messages deeply and poetically.

This research uses a qualitative method to examine the influence of emotional copywriting on user engagement in algorithm-curated social media platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok’s For You Page (FYP). The increasing consumption of short-form, personalized content driven by user behavior highlights the need for more targeted communication strategies. Emotional copywriting—writing that emphasizes affective elements such as empathy, joy, fear, or nostalgia—is considered effective in creating emotional bonds between content creators and audiences, thus encouraging interactions like likes, comments, and shares. This study was conducted through content analysis of 25 viral videos with high engagement, along with in-depth interviews with five active content creators. The findings reveal that using emotionally resonant phrases aligned with users’ social values and experiences significantly boosts content performance within algorithmic systems. Emotionally charged content tends to receive broader exposure as algorithms prioritize highly interactive posts. Therefore, emotional copywriting is not only a creative strategy but also an effective tactic for optimizing content visibility in the age of social media algorithms.   Keywords: , , , , , Reels, ,  social platforms.

This study discusses the effectiveness of speed reading techniques in learning Arabic at the Darut Tauhid Patemon Islamic Boarding School. Speed reading skills are very important for students to understand Arabic texts, such as classical books and other Islamic literature, in a shorter time. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the speed reading techniques applied in this Islamic boarding school are divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The technique for beginners emphasizes the introduction of letters and harakat, mastery of understanding using the flashcard method, and repeated reading exercises using the shadowing method. At the intermediate level, students are trained to use skimming and scanning techniques, reading in phrases using the eye movement control method, and understanding the context of the text. Meanwhile, the advanced level focuses on evaluating understanding, discussion, and oral speed reading tests. Although this technique has proven effective in improving reading skills, there are several obstacles, such as limited understanding of students and lack of intensive practice outside of formal class hours. Therefore, a more optimal mentoring strategy is needed, such as increasing comprehension exercises, using technology in learning, and additional training for students who experience difficulties. With proper application, speed reading techniques can improve students' competence in understanding the texts they have mastered.

The waning enthusiasm for preserving the nation's wealth, one of which is regional languages, has become a serious problem that has occurred in recent years. However, only a few Indonesian people are aware of it. Regional languages, especially Serang Javanese, are on the verge of extinction. According to the data obtained, there are three million speakers of Serang Javanese, while the majority of Jaseng (Serang Javanese) speakers are in Cilegon, Serang and a small number in Tangerang, Banten Province. Unfortunately, Banten Javanese language users are starting to be eroded by the progress of the times, people are more in favor of slang communication, South Jakarta language, and the influence of other foreign languages. The good news is that the role of social media, which does not always have a negative impact on society, is actually one of the savior media in preventing the extinction of regional languages. One of them was proven by the owner of an influencer Instagram account from Serang who planned to create content that speaks the Serang Javanese language even though it is part of the code-mixing phenomenon. This research discusses the use of code-mixing in the lyrics of the song “Now I Know” by Kaleb J. Code-mixing, in the form of the insertion of English elements into Indonesian lyrics, often appears in modern music as a response to globalization. A qualitative research approach is used to identify the forms of code-mixing (words, phrases, and clauses), its function, and its impact on the song's message. The results of the analysis show that code-mixing dominates the chorus with English to accentuate emotional intensity, while Indonesian is present in the verses to provide a narrative that is familiar to local listeners. The use of two languages reflects a balance between local and global elements, enhancing the musical aesthetics and international appeal of the song.
