This research discusses how Indonesia can integrate Pancasila values in anti-terrorism policies, amidst international pressure which often leads to harsher approaches based on the standards of Western countries. An approach that prioritizes security can conflict with Pancasila principles, such as respect for human rights and social justice. Pancasila as the basic ideology of the state emphasizes the importance of balance between individual rights and the interests of society. In facing the threat of terrorism, Indonesia needs to adopt policies that not only strictly enforce the law, but also prioritize prevention through education, community empowerment and strengthening human values. This research aims to analyze how Pancasila values are implemented in Indonesia's anti-terrorism policy and the challenges that arise in harmonization with international norms. Globalization and technological developments pose new challenges in the spread of radical ideology, so policies are needed that are responsive but still based on Pancasila. Indonesia's anti- terrorism legal policy must be able to balance tough law enforcement with a humanist and dialogical approach, in line with the spirit of Pancasila which upholds just and civilized humanity. It is hoped that this research can contribute to more humane and effective policies.

This research examines the integration of Pancasila values in fatwas issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) regarding Islamic law, with the aim of understanding how the country's basic principles are accommodated in religious decisions that have a broad influence on society. Considering that the MUI plays a significant role in providing legal and moral guidance for Muslims in Indonesia, the fatwas it issues not only reflect an understanding of Islamic law, but must also be in line with the normative framework of Pancasila. This research uses a qualitative approach with analysis of the texts of fatwas issued by the MUI in the last five years, as well as in-depth interviews with experts in Islamic law and Pancasila. The research results show that, although the MUI attempts to integrate Pancasila values, there are several challenges in implementing these values, especially related to issues involving religious pluralism, human rights and social justice. The integration of Pancasila in the MUI fatwa is not only important to maintain social harmony amidst Indonesia's diversity, but also to ensure that the application of Islamic law can contribute to inclusive and just national development. Therefore, the MUI is faced with the crucial task of continuing to develop a more contextual and inclusive approach in formulating fatwas, so that it not only fulfills the demands of sharia, but also supports the nation's ideals as mandated by Pancasila.

The connection between religious moderation and the first principle of Pancasila is that every religious follower believes in the One Supreme God they worship, but many Indonesians have limited understanding of religions other than their own. This lack of knowledge in society has inspired the author to address the issue and offer insights through this article. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Each religion interprets the concept of One God differently, but in Indonesia, they share common ground regarding the belief in a Supreme Being. Pancasila is a legacy of our ancestors and has very noble values. Nobility is contained in the five principles of Pancasila as a noble "legacy", especially for building religious moderation in Indonesia. The researchers are interested in exploring the values contained in Pancasila in order to maintain the mandate of the founders of the Indonesian nation. On the other hand, the author admits that the knowledge and appreciation of some citizens of the Republic of Indonesia (WNRI) are starting to fade. This can be seen in the lack of appreciation and respect for others, especially those of different religions, cultures, races, and groups. This is a concern and a threat to the unity of Indonesian daughters and sons. This research was conducted using the library research method. By digging up information from main and supporting sources as well as reliable references, the researcher wants to present data and offer an idea to return to living up to the values contained in Pancasila. Indonesian people should be proud to have Pancasila as a democratic state philosophy. The Pancasila philosophy needs to be lived in a spirit of honesty, justice, solidarity and openness. This guarantees the realization of a peaceful and prosperous life. Thus, Pancasila is the spirit of unity in building religious moderation in Indonesia. This will guarantee protection for every citizen in all aspects of life, especially religious freedom.

The enthusiasm to preserve the values of Pancasila becomes the soul and "spirit" that maintains the integrity of the Nation and Indonesia. Indonesia, which has various differences, remains united with the motto "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika". This motto is realized in real action based on an attitude of openness, solidarity and love for the integrity of the Unity State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). This awareness was born from the belief that the noble values of Pancasila can unite the Republic of Indonesia with all its diversity. The aim of this research is to raise collective awareness of the reality of diversity being a legacy of the ancestors and founders of the Republic of Indonesia that is maintained and developed, not as a vice versa which threat for unity. To explore this theme, the researchers used the library research method. Through the data found, the researchers processes it systematically and critically. The diversity that exists on the archipelago is a "gift" from Allah, the creator of the universe. The plurality of ethnicities, religions, races and groups (SARA) is the uniqueness and beauty of Indonesia compared to other countries. An important implication to be promoted is respect for ethnic, cultural and religious differences as beautiful "flowers" in harmonious living together. In this way, every citizen tries to live up to the values of Pancasila. Pancasila is a modus vivendi that mobilizes groups of citizens to contribute to the construction of a "new home" in this country by uniting the vision, mission and sense of national solidarity.

Indonesia is a nation that abides by the Constitution of 1945 and Pancasila. Indonesia has encountered a multitude of illicit issues, both collective and individual, in recent years. One such offense is homicide with premeditation. This is a common occurrence in communities, families, and even police departments. Police officers are commonplace individuals who are susceptible to committing unlawful acts, notwithstanding the responsibilities and functions they perform. A considerable number of National Police personnel have been convicted of premeditated homicide. Consequently, the objective of this study is to ascertain the following: 1) the protocols governing the submission of petitions by suspects accused of premeditated homicide committed by police officers; and 2) the legal defense strategies employed by such suspects. The author addressed the issues addressed in this study from two perspectives: an empirical juridical approach and a normative juridical approach. Secondary data was acquired through literature reviews (Library Research), whereas primary data was obtained through field investigations (Field Research). In public trials, police officers occupy the same position as other civilians, according to research findings. Defense efforts may be initiated during a public trial by having the "Pledoi" read aloud. The indictment and defense cannot be presented until the judge declares the conclusion of the case examination. The written defense is submitted subsequent to the prosecutor's submission of the demands. The Pledoi comprises the following: the defendant's identity, an introductory section, a description of the objections raised against the charges filed, an indictment, the facts that were disclosed during the trial, a juridical analysis, and a concluding section.
