Education in the era of globalization demands the development of students' social skills, including collaboration, to prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century. One effective method to train these skills is small group discussions, which encourage students to share ideas, listen to other perspectives, and reach consensus. This study aims to identify effective strategies in guiding small group discussions to improve student collaboration, focusing on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study design in one of the high schools that implements the Merdeka Curriculum. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and student collaboration questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that effective strategies include the use of open-ended questions, providing constructive feedback, and dividing roles in groups. In addition, the dynamics of small group discussions can be improved with good conflict management by teachers. This study also found that small group discussions can improve students' collaboration skills, which are reflected in communication, individual responsibility, and group decision making. Implications for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum show the importance of teacher training to improve the ability to guide small group discussions effectively. This study provides practical and theoretical contributions to the development of collaboration-based learning in Indonesia.

This community service program is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative, aiming to create a clean and green environment at MTs Muslimat NU through drainage cleaning and flower planting activities. The program involved teachers and university students as the main participants, without the direct involvement of students. Its primary focus is to raise awareness about the importance of environmental cleanliness and greening efforts to preserve ecosystems. The drainage cleaning was carried out to prevent blockages that could lead to flooding, while flower planting aimed to beautify the school environment and educate participants about the benefits of greening. Through the active involvement of teachers and students, this program is expected to foster positive habits in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Additionally, it promotes the value of mutual cooperation, which can be continued by the entire school community to create a healthy and comfortable environment. Supported by the MBKM program, similar initiatives are expected to expand their impact, engage more stakeholders, and contribute significantly to sustainable environmental conservation efforts.

Indonesia has an important pottery cultural heritage to preserve. This study aims to integrate culture-based education into the Merdeka Curriculum through P5, focusing on pottery making. The objectives of this study are to improve students' creativity, mutual cooperation, and social skills, as well as to strengthen the relationship between schools and communities in preserving local cultural traditions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the implementation of P5 activities through pottery making in improving creativity and mutual cooperation at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation from 1119 students and teachers. The results of the study will provide an in-depth picture of the impact of these activities on students at the school. Pottery making activities at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang develop students' creativity, motor skills, and mutual cooperation. By drawing designs, shaping, and painting pottery, they learn to think creatively, solve problems, and work together in groups. This activity supports the formation of Pancasila characters, such as togetherness, responsibility, and personal initiative, in accordance with the objectives of the Merdeka curriculum. P5 activities at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang have succeeded in achieving the goals of the independent curriculum, creating a Pancasila Student Profile that is creative, cooperative, and has good character. Students develop creativity and collaboration skills through challenging projects. This study emphasizes the importance of an art project-based approach to building the character of Pancasila students in the era of character education.

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the field is not free from various challenges, especially for teachers who are faced with the demands of being able to develop innovative, adaptive teaching modules that are in accordance with the characteristics of students. SDN No. 10 Galung in Majene City is one of the elementary schools that also implements the Independent Curriculum. In this school, it was found that teachers' understanding and skills in developing teaching modules are still limited, so optimal training and mentoring are needed to support the successful implementation of the curriculum. This community service activity aims to optimize teachers' understanding and skills in developing the Independent Curriculum teaching modules. The methods used include training and mentoring. The results of this activity show a significant increase in teachers' ability to design and implement contextual and innovative teaching modules. This activity provides benefits for teachers in building more meaningful learning, student-centered, and in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.

This research aims to explore the implementation of Market-Day as a learning medium to improve basic economic understanding for sixth grade elementary school students. Through this activity, students gain practical experience regarding economic concepts such as demand, supply, transactions and financial management. This approach also encourages the development of social skills, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit, which are relevant to the needs of the era of globalization. Market-Day provides real simulations that integrate economic theory into daily practice, thereby helping students better understand and apply economic values in their lives. This research uses a literature study approach by referring to relevant scientific sources, such as books, journals and research reports. The study results show that Market-Day is not only effective in increasing understanding of economic theory, but also strengthens students' managerial skills and financial awareness. With this experience-based learning, students are taught to be more responsible and innovative, so they are better prepared to face economic challenges in the future. This article concludes that Market-Day is a strategic approach that can be applied in elementary schools to combine economic learning with the development of students' life skills, especially in supporting the Merdeka Curriculum which is oriented towards holistic learning.

In education, efforts to improve student character must be made. One of the activities that follows the independent curriculum is the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5).  In this P5 activity, students are given training that can stimulate the emergence of soft skills, namely a sense of responsibility, discipline, independence, caring, and a feeling of love for the country. It is hoped that the young generation whose love for Indonesia has emerged will have a high enthusiasm to improve their quality, by studying harder, so that they can participate in efforts to defend this country to increase the prosperity of the nation and the Indonesian state. It is recommended that activities such as P5 or LDKS be carried out periodically, with material programs arranged systematically to achieve the goals. To achieve the objectives effectively and efficiently, an activity program must be prepared such as a Training Program Outline and Learning Process Plan with a gradual and continuous implementation system.

Despite the lack of significant improvement in Indonesia's literacy, numeracy, and science skills rankings over the past 18 years, the country consistently ranks in the bottom 10 in PISA test results. Facing the current Independent curriculum, teachers must be able to teach based on literacy and numeracy skills, because this is the indicator in AKM and PISA-based assessments. If teachers master literacy and numeracy skills, then teachers can convey materials related to literacy and numeracy clearly and correctly for students. Teachers are expected to innovate to develop student competencies through various lessons through student-centred teaching. Education standards in Indonesia still face various challenges, especially in Tahai Jaya Village where there are still educational problems such as limited Merdeka curriculum books, unstable lesson schedules, and the low reading ability of grade 3 elementary school students, reflecting broader educational challenges. To overcome this, KKN students took the initiative to carry out free tutoring in Tahai Jaya village. The aim of this free tutoring program is to help improve the quality of education in Tahai Jaya village. The method used is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The results of free tutoring activities in Tahai Jaya Village have succeeded in improving the quality of education in the area. This activity involves active community participation and is carried out for a month using interactive methods. As a result, students show increased motivation and learning abilities, especially in completing school assignments. Parents also felt the positive impact of this activity, because their children were more enthusiastic and eager to learn.

The Kampus Merdeka Internship Regular Program is an activity carried out by the government from the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide space for students to gain experience in understanding the professional world and creating a professional workforce so that students are given the opportunity to help manage the Kredit administration process at.

This study highlights the importance of differentiated learning in the context of Generation Z who have unique characteristics, such as critical thinking, desire for quick feedback, and technology literacy. Differentiated learning aims to meet individual learning needs by modifying four main components: content, process, product, and learning environment. Analysis of history teachers in Central Java Province shows that although most teachers have implemented some aspects of differentiated learning, there are obstacles in relevant and effective evaluation and assessment. To address this, a training program has been implemented to improve teacher competency in developing adaptive assessments, both formative and summative. The results of the training showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in implementing the principles of differentiated learning that are more inclusive and equitable.

The training activity for creating innovative learning media in the independent curriculum was carried out in order to develop the competence and skills of teachers related to creating creative and interesting learning media. The activity was carried out in Kolbano, South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province in 2024. The basis for its implementation was the need for teachers to develop their competence in utilizing technology in creating learning media according to the demands of the current independent curriculum. This activity aims to improve teacher competence in utilizing technology to design interesting and innovative learning. The innovative learning media that were the topic of this training were Google Sites, Wordwall and QuizWhizzer. Teachers in Kolbano generally only teach using lecture and group discussion methods, and use conventional learning media such as power point displays and video materials. As a result, students are less motivated and feel bored in learning activities, while the nature of the independent curriculum demands active interaction of students in learning. Therefore, through this training, teachers are trained and assisted in developing innovative learning media until the product is produced and used in learning. This learning media can be presented interactively and attractively so that it can motivate students to participate in learning. Teachers will also be more creative in innovating to develop media that attracts students' interest in accordance with the nature of the independent curriculum.

Through a well-designed and implemented independent learning program, students' hard and soft skills will be strongly formed.In the series of introductions to new students, the MBKM team was asked to be a resource for introducing MBKM to new students. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge to new students regarding MBKM. There are several benefits that students can get by participating in MBKM activities, one of which is additional competency skills outside campus, learning experiences outside campus and recognition of a maximum of 20 credits for MBKM activities so that they can speed up graduation. The focus of this research is the role of human resource management in improving teacher performance in Cibeber District, Cilegon City in terms of implementing management functions in the Independent Learning Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the role of Human Resource Management in improving teacher performance in Cibeber District , Cilegon City, namely by planning, organizing, directing and supervising, can be said to be quite good. First, planning by conducting a needs analysis and providing understanding regarding the The Independent Learning Curriculum and learning tools that must be prepared by teachers. Second, organizing by placing and dividing tasks according to abilities and educational background. Third, direction is carried out by providing direction and guidance regarding the tasks and responsibilities given as well as providing motivation in the form of giving awards for teacher performance achievements. Fourth, supervision is carried out by the school principal through class visits and supervisors from the Education Management Unit. The implications of the research results suggest that elementary schools provide training to teacher councils regarding learning media so that the communication and educational interaction process between teachers and students can take place appropriately, try to increase the availability of facilities and infrastructure for the smoothness and success of the learning process, and work together to improve each other. teacher performance, both from school principals, education staff, teaching staff (teachers), and school supervisors within the Education Management Unit and it is hoped that everything that has been achieved can be improved.

Proficiency in computer networking and cybersecurity has become very important, especially with the increasing need for human resources in this sector. However, the availability of experts remains scarce due to the complexity of technology, demands for extensive knowledge and skills, and limitations in education and training. The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programme initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia offers a solution through independent study to improve student competencies. This programme aims to provide learning flexibility, encourage independent learning, and improve student’s technical skills and soft skills. This article discusses efforts to improve interdisciplinary student competencies in computer networking and cybersecurity through the MBKM independent study programme, especially through Magang Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB). As a Programme Assistance Lecturer (DPP), the author used a qualitative approach with a case study method involving students from various study programmes. The results of the activities show that the MSIB programme has a positive impact on improving student competencies across disciplines, both in technical skills such as network configuration and security analysis, as well as in the development of soft skills such as time management, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Until now batik has been known in the international world which has become an identity of Indonesian national culture. Syntactic analysis isn’t only used for the use of structural grammar, but also for explaining the relationship or connection between functions, categories, and roles in the syntactic structure to achieve a correct sentence structure. The purpose of this study is to describe the function, structure, and role of syntax in Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII Kurikulum Merdeka book. This type of research is included in a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive design. The method used in this study is the agih method using reading and note-taking techniques, while the method of presenting data using informal data presentation. The data used is the descriptive text from the Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VII Kurikulum Merdeka book. The results of this study found 30 sentences with various sentence patterns from 4 samples of descriptive text with the most frequently found details being S-P-O syntactic functions, noun-verb-noun syntax categories, and actor-activity-target syntactic roles. Through this research it is hoped that it can provide benefits to readers so that they can deepen their knowledge in the field of syntax, and can be used as reference material and references for further research that is in line with this research.
