The increasing public awareness of global environmental issues has encouraged the emergence of the green consumerism trend, or environmentally friendly consumption behavior, across various segments of society. This shift in consumption patterns occurs in response to growing environmental sustainability challenges and climate change, which demand consumers to be more responsible in selecting, using, and disposing of products. Consumers no longer consider only price and quality, but also the environmental impact of the products they consume. This study aims to analyze the concept of green consumers, identify the factors influencing green consumption behavior, and examine its implications for the modern business environment. The research method employed is a literature study (library research) using a qualitative descriptive approach, reviewing various sources such as scientific journals, books, research reports, and recent publications relevant to the topic of green consumerism. The results indicate that environmental awareness, sustainable lifestyle values, concern for ecological impacts, as well as social influence and digital media, are the main factors shaping green consumer behavior. Furthermore, the study finds that companies capable of adapting to the green consumption trend through eco-friendly product innovation, sustainable business practices, and the implementation of corporate social responsibility will gain a positive corporate image, increase consumer trust, and create competitive advantages in an increasingly environmentally conscious market.

The spirit of evangelism is an essential element in sustaining the church’s mission and fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ. However, in the digital era marked by cultural shifts, individualistic lifestyles, and rapid advances in communication technology, this missionary zeal has significantly declined. This study aims to revitalize the spirit of evangelism through a missiological reflection on the multicultural approach of Ludwig Ingwer Nommensen in the Batak region. Using a descriptive qualitative method through library research and contextual theological reflection, this study interprets Nommensen’s missiological values and their relevance to contemporary digital evangelism. The findings reveal that Nommensen’s success lay in his ability to integrate steadfast faith with deep respect for local culture, providing a model for the modern church to communicate the Gospel in a relevant and inclusive way. Revitalizing the spirit of evangelism in the digital era requires a balance between profound spirituality, digital competence, and contextual approaches that honor cultural diversity. The implications of this study highlight the need for a renewed missional paradigm that enables the church to reach the digital generation creatively, adaptively, and faithfully rooted in the truth of the Gospel.

The rapid growth of online paylater services has raised concerns about their impact on students’ financial behavior, particularly given the increasing prevalence of consumptive lifestyles and limited financial literacy. This study investigates the influence of Lifestyle (X1) and Financial Literacy (X2) on the use of online paylater systems (Z) and their implications for Spending Behavior (Y) among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Dian Nuswantoro University. The study population consisted of 2,100 students from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts, with a sample of 117 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The sample was selected purposively based on the criteria of being 18–24 years old and active users of paylater services. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire employing a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.2 with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results reveal that Lifestyle has a significant positive effect on both Spending Behavior and Paylater use, while Paylater use itself also positively influences Spending Behavior. In contrast, Financial Literacy shows no significant effect and does not mediate the relationships. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Lifestyle, Financial Literacy, Paylater adoption, and Spending Behavior into a single explanatory model, thereby offering new insights into the financial decision-making patterns of Generation Z students in the context of digital financial services.

The rapid development of financial technology has transformed transactional behavior, particularly among Generation Z. Easy access through mobile banking, particularly BCA Mobile, has made financial activities more practical but also poses risks of consumptive behavior due to low financial literacy and self-control. This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Literacy, Lifestyle, and Locus of control on Financial Behavior, with Financial technology as a moderating variable. The research population consists of Generation Z users of BCA Mobile in Surabaya. A total of 147 respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The findings show that Financial Literacy and Locus of control have a significant positive effect on Financial Behavior, while Lifestyle has a significant negative effect. Furthermore, Financial technology is proven to moderate the influence of Financial Literacy and Locus of control on Financial Behavior, but not the relationship between Lifestyle and Financial Behavior.

The phenomenon of fashion FOMO (fear of missing out) exerts a significant influence on fashion consumption behavior, particularly among the demographic from late adolescence to young adulthood. The fear of missing trends can lead individuals to make impulsive purchases. In contrast, the Minimalist Wardrobe concept promotes a conscious lifestyle that emphasizes functional and sustainable clothing choices. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Fashion FoMO on purchasing decisions and to assess the role of a Minimalist Wardrobe as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing purposive sampling to collect data through surveys administered to respondents residing in Semarang City. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results show that Fashion FoMO has a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions for UNIQLO products. Meanwhile, the Minimalist Wardrobe shows an insignificant effect. These findings suggest that purchasing decisions are more strongly driven by emotional pressure from FoMO than by minimalist lifestyle considerations.

Digital transformation in Indonesia's financial sector has accelerated the adoption of cashless payment systems, with QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as the main innovation since its introduction by Bank Indonesia in 2019. Generation Z, as a digital native group, is the dominant user of QRIS due to their preference for fast, practical, and connected services. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of lifestyle, ease of use, trust, and financial attitudes on the decision to use QRIS by Generation Z in Bogor Regency, as well as test the role of financial literacy as a moderation variable. The research approach uses quantitative methods through inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that only the variables of ease of use and financial attitude had a significant effect on the decision to use QRIS, with a significance value of < 0.05 and t calculated > t table. These findings reinforce the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model, which emphasizes the importance of the perception of convenience in driving the adoption of digital payment technology. Meanwhile, the variables of lifestyle and trust did not have a significant effect, which may be due to the level of general trust that has been formed in QRIS and the digital lifestyle of respondents who have not fully developed. These results confirm the need to develop a more intuitive user experience and increase education related to digital financial literacy to strengthen the sustainable use of QRIS among Generation Z.

This study examines the influence of Instagram on college students' lifestyles, focusing on the discrepancy between reality and expectations formed on social media. Instagram has become an important part of college students' lives, not only as a means of communication but also as a medium for constructing self-identity and social image. Through photo and video uploads, many students strive to project an ideal life filled with happiness and success, although this does not always align with reality. This phenomenon gives rise to social pressure, self-dissatisfaction, and a tendency towards a consumerist lifestyle driven by the desire to conform to popular trends. However, Instagram also has a positive side. If used wisely, this medium can be a source of inspiration, learning, and creativity development for students. Therefore, Instagram's influence on college students' lifestyles is largely determined by the user's level of awareness and maturity in balancing the virtual world and real life.

This study aims to analyze Islamic legal perspectives on the decision of married couples to choose not to have children (childfree) by reviewing sharia arguments, interpretations of scholars, and the resulting social and legal implications. The childfree phenomenon is a contemporary issue that is increasingly being discussed, especially among the younger generation of ubanites in Indonesia. This decision is driven by various factors such as economic conditions, physical and mental health, enviromental awareness, career orientation, and lifestyle. The study was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive approach and the data obtained through library research methods. From an Islamic Legal perspective, this lifestyle choice is controversial because it is directly related to the maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, particularly the aspect of hifẓ al-nasl (preserving offspring). Previous research has explain that non-permanent contraceptive practices are permissible as long as there is the consent of the couple and do not cause harm. However, permanent contraceptive suc as vasectomy or tubectomy are considered contrary to Islamic law. The Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) has also emphasized that permanent contraceptive measures are not permitted because the contradict the purpose of sharia to preserve offspring. Thus, Islamic law allows for ijtihad and deliberation in addressing the phenomenon of childfree, while still emphasizing that safeguarding offspring is a crucial part of the primary objective of sharia. This study aims to contribute academically to the discourse on Islamic legal flexibility in responding to evolving social realities, highlighting the dynamic interplay between normative principles and contemporary challenges.
