Refractive errors occur when the light entering the eye is not clearly focused, causing blurry or unsharp vision. The main causes of refractive errors include hereditary factors and an unhealthy lifestyle. Signs and symptoms of refractive errors include blurred vision, frequent squinting to see objects clearly, and difficulty focusing when reading, watching TV, or looking at a gadget screen. This disorder cannot be completely cured, but it can be helped with glasses, contact lenses, or lasik surgery. The urgency of this research is driven by the increasing duration of gadget use among Ma Chung University students in June 2023  and its impact on eye refractive errors. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the duration of gadget use on refractive errors in students. The targeted output is empirical data on the relationship between the duration of gadget use and the incidence of refractive errors, which can be the basis for eye health interventions among students.

Good lighting in a room is an important role that must be fulfilled to create a comfortable, functional and productive atmosphere. Inadequate lighting, such as lighting that is too dim or too bright, can cause eye fatigue, decreased productivity, and even health problems. In designing a room, lighting is also an important aspect that must be considered. Factors such as the type of activities performed in the room, the size of the room, and individual preferences can influence the selection of lamp types, light source placement, and optimal lighting settings.

In 2016 - 2018 the number of visits to 6 poles including general surgery poly, echocardiography, eye poly, internal medicine, ENT poly, poly urology fluctuated from 11.23% to -5.23%. Fluctuations in the number of visits can be caused by several factors, one of which is consumer behavior in health service selection decisions. This study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix on service selection decisions. This research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were patients in 6 outpatient clinics at Jemursari Islamic Hospital in Surabaya. The number of samples is taken by quota sampling within one month. The results showed that the marketing mix at 6 Polis RSI Jemursari Surabaya with a good category of 77.5% resulted in high service selection decisions. The results of the ordinal regression test show a significance value of 0,000 which means that there is an influence of the marketing mix on the decision of choosing the Jemursari Hospital. Of the seven marketing mix elements that have the lowest influence on service selection decisions are the 47.1% price mix element, while the most influential marketing mix element is the human resource mix element with a percentage of 68.6%.The conclusion in this study is the positive influence of the marketing mix on the decision to choose outpatient services at the Jemursari Hospital in 2019.

Limit of a function is the main of calculus that teached in high school. The concept is the value of a function gets closer or approaches some number. This research focuses on finding the use of the limit function concept in every sectors in our daily, inside and outside the mathematic. This research was conducted to increase motivation to students in studying limit of functions in school  and to become a source of knowledge for others. The research method used is study literature. The result of this reseach is the concept of limit function widely used in various sectors of life. In engineering, the concept of limit is used to calculate the speed and maximum output of a machine. In science, the concept of limit exists in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In the health sector, the concept of limit is used in the eye checkup and in daily, the concept of limit is used with the expression almost, that something is only close, but does not happen.

Carrots (Daucus carota L.) is one of the agricultural commodities in Indonesia which contains provitaminA. Beta‐Caroten is known to maintain eye health. This research aimed to determine the ratio of gelatinconcentration and optimal concentration of carrot juice to produce carrot jelly candy that has quality andpreferred by consumers. The research was canducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorialconsisting of 2 factors. The first factor was concentration of gelatin i.e 3%, 5%, 7%. 9% and the second factorwas the concentration ratio of carrot juice i.e 50%, 75%, 100%. The results showed that the best combinedtreatment was consist of 7% gelatin concentration and 75% of carrot juice. This treatment had 32,500% ofmoisture content, 1,970% of ash, 4.88% of reducting sugar, 5.12 of acidity, 103.115 mg/g of Beta‐Carotene, orangecalor (2,500); tasteless carrots (1,500); chewy (3,083) and preferred by consumers (2.667).Key words: Jelly Candy, Carrot, Calculate, Gelatin
