This study examines the crime of fertilizer counterfeiting in the Kalianda area, South Lampung, which is a form of economic crime with a significant impact on the agricultural sector. Fertilizer counterfeiting not only harms farmers financially, but also disrupts the distribution of subsidized fertilizers and lowers trust in the legal system. This crime is driven by various factors, including economic incentives, weak supervision, and inadequate regulations. In addition, the existence of illegal distribution networks and the lack of effectiveness of law enforcement also exacerbate the problem. This study uses a normative juridical approach to analyze the legal aspects that govern the crime of fertilizer counterfeiting, as well as an empirical approach through interviews with law enforcement officials in the South Lampung Regional Police area. The results of the study show that the rampant counterfeiting of fertilizers is caused by economic pressure, weak law enforcement, and low public legal awareness. This practice is often carried out in a covert manner and is difficult to prove technically in the field. In addition, the alleged involvement of certain individuals in the illegal distribution network adds to the complexity of handling cases. This study recommends reforming the fertilizer distribution system that is more transparent, increasing supervision by law enforcement officials and related agencies, and strengthening regulations with the application of stricter sanctions. Efforts to increase public legal awareness are also an important aspect in preventing similar crimes in the future. In addition, the need for synergy between law enforcement officials, local governments, and the community is the main key in tackling this economic crime. The development of fertilizer distribution tracking technology, as well as education to farmers about the characteristics of real and fake fertilizers, is expected to be able to strengthen the protection system at the grassroots level.

This research analyzes the implementation of the 7P marketing mix framework—comprising product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence—at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to attract consumer interest in adopting sharia-compliant savings products within an increasingly volatile banking environment. Amidst accelerating retail competition following consolidated structural expansions, the main objective of this study is to trace the relationship between strategic structural integration and retail consumer acquisition dynamics. The methodology incorporates a qualitative case study paradigm operating primarily through continuous field observations at physical institutional touchpoints combined with an extensive evaluation of web-based portal data and corporate disclosures. The key findings reveal that the proactive orchestration of zero-administration deposit schemes, transparent sharia-compliant pricing margins, broad multi-channel distribution, targeted digital netnography campaigns, and highly optimized automated mobile routing systems collectively acts as a core catalyst for amplifying consumer market trust and broadening retail account portfolios. The study concludes that the seamless integration of digital service architectures with traditional branch infrastructures under sharia tenets remains vital for maintaining structural growth and securing long-term institutional presence in competitive regional commercial banking fields.

This study uses the Mean Value Analysis (MVA) approach to analyze the queuing system at the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea cashier counter on Jalan Pahlawan in Magelang City. The MVA method was chosen because it can handle general time distributions between arrivals and services. The research was conducted through direct observation and interviews over the course of two days, during which time data was collected on the time between arrivals and customer service. The analysis revealed that the system was not in a steady state, as the arrival rate (0.0122 customers per second) exceeded the service rate (0.0111 customers per second). High service variability (CV = 276.30%) compared to arrival variability (CV = 69.46%) indicates service instability. On average, customers waited 47.08 seconds, and the total time in the system was 137.17 seconds. These results are important because they indicate the need for increased efficiency and standardized services to prevent a decrease in service quality.

This study aims to analyze the level of efficiency and effectiveness in managing tax revenues in Indonesia and its contribution to national economic development. Taxes are the primary source of state funding and play a crucial role in supporting development programs and welfare distribution. However, there remains a gap between tax potential and realization, indicating the need to evaluate the current tax administration system. This research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data from DJP, BPS, and the Ministry of Finance covering the 2019–2023 period. The findings show that tax collection effectiveness has been relatively high in the last two years, as indicated by revenue realization exceeding targets. Nevertheless, efficiency remains low due to suboptimal digital systems and limitations in human resource capacity. Effectiveness is also strongly influenced by information technology and the performance of tax officials. The study concludes that tax reform focused on digitalization and transparency must be strengthened to support sustainable economic development. These findings have important implications for future fiscal policies and suggest opportunities for further research using mixed-method approaches.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the National Cash Social Assistance (BST) policy on the purchasing power of communities in Surabaya. BST is a social protection program launched by the Indonesian government in response to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The policy targets low-income and vulnerable groups through direct cash transfers, with the goal of maintaining basic consumption levels and preventing a sharp decline in household welfare. This research examines the extent to which the BST program has achieved its objectives, particularly in enhancing or sustaining the purchasing power of its beneficiaries in urban settings. The study employs an evaluative approach using a mixed-methods design, combining quantitative survey data with qualitative interviews involving aid recipients and local-level implementers. The findings indicate that the BST program had a positive short-term impact on household purchasing power, particularly in meeting essential needs such as food and utility expenses. However, several implementation challenges were also identified, including issues of inaccurate beneficiary targeting, delays in distribution, and the relatively small amount of assistance compared to actual household need. These results highlight that the effectiveness of social policy is not solely dependent on budget allocation but also on the precision of its implementation on the ground. Consequently, the study recommends improvements in beneficiary data updating, enhanced transparency in aid distribution, and the development of more adaptive program designs that reflect local socio-economic conditions. The findings are expected to serve as a valuable reference for policymakers in designing more efficient and sustainable social assistance programs in the future.

Regional tourism development is a crucial strategy for driving local economic growth and preserving cultural heritage. However, field conditions often reveal that policy implementation does not always proceed optimally. The Sekarsari Bathing Area in Mojokerto City is one of the tourism sites targeted by development policies, yet it has not demonstrated significant impact on community welfare or tourism attractiveness. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of regional tourism development policies at the Sekarsari site using William N. Dunn’s policy evaluation theory, which includes six criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis from various stakeholders such as the tourism office, site managers, local businesses, and community members. The research instruments were developed flexibly and iteratively according to field dynamics. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing in an interactive manner. The findings reveal that the tourism development policy at Sekarsari has not yet yielded optimal outcomes. The main weaknesses lie in the lack of community participation, uneven distribution of economic benefits, and limited innovation and promotion. Although there have been improvements in basic infrastructure and a modest increase in visitor numbers, the policy has not been fully responsive to local needs. In conclusion, the current policy does not fully meet Dunn’s six evaluation criteria and requires revisions in both strategic planning and technical implementation. This study recommends that future tourism policies be more community-based, inclusive, and adaptive to local contexts. For future research, a mixed-methods approach involving quantitative and geospatial analysis is suggested to strengthen comprehensive evaluative evidence.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 4P marketing mix strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) at Firdaus Farm, a tilapia farming business in Tasikmalaya, and its effectiveness in enhancing the business's competitiveness and profitability. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study through observations, interviews, and direct documentation at the business location. The research findings indicate that the product strategy, which emphasizes tilapia quality—such as freshness, uniform size, clean packaging, and quality certification—constitutes the primary factor in attracting consumer interest. The flexible and competitive pricing strategy, adjusted according to market conditions and consumer purchasing power, along with bonuses for loyal customers, proved to increase customer loyalty and sales. Product distribution is carried out through traditional channels and has begun utilizing digital platforms to expand market reach, with the strategic location of the business supporting distribution efficiency. Promotion, still mainly traditional, is starting to develop into digital promotion through social media, which effectively increases product visibility and appeal. This study concludes that the consistent and adaptive application of the 4P marketing mix can enhance Firdaus Farm’s competitiveness in the tilapia market. It is recommended that business practitioners continue to develop product innovations, evaluate pricing, expand digital distribution, and optimize digital promotion in order to face increasingly intense market competition.

Iodine deficiency remains a major health issue, especially in highland regions like Cisukadana Village, leading to an increased risk of goiter that affects metabolism and growth. This study explores an alternative method to improve iodine intake through the use of factory ash waste in salted egg processing. Factory ash waste is known to contain microelements such as iodine, calcium, and magnesium, which can enhance the nutritional value of salted eggs. The research consisted of three stages: community counseling on iodine importance, practical training on making salted eggs using a salt and ash mixture, and product distribution for evaluation. Eggs were soaked in a brine solution mixed with ash waste for 8–10 days to ensure iodine absorption. The results showed that this method increased iodine content in the eggs, extended shelf life, and improved texture and taste. The program positively impacted the community in health (goiter prevention), social (community involvement and student participation), and economic (potential new business using local resources) aspects. This innovation demonstrates a sustainable approach to enhancing iodine intake while reducing industrial waste impact.
